Speaking about fatherhood and raising his daughter Nova in an interview with Global Grind , the Power actor says that night he was just worried about his baby girl because she’d scratched her cornea. Omari says both Beyoncé and Jay-Z asked about Nova that night, which then led to an extended chat with Hov and the viral moment with Bey. From Global Grind : Criticized for how he interacted with Beyoncé at the award show, Omari had yet to discuss the moment publicly until explaining during our interview that, that night he was simply a worried father thanking his friends who’d expressed concern for his daughter throughout the night. “She has ironically been injured in two very historical moments for me,” Omari told Global Grind when asked about Nova. “Her cornea was scratched the night of the Image Awards. The length of [my] talk with Jay was him asking me about her eye. The length of the hug with Bey was her asking about her eye. I give the speech and I bring up her eye,” he recalls. Describing another moment when his daughter was hurt, Omari went on to tell us Nova’s head had been “busted by her little brother.” “Her eye is scratched by him the night of the Image Awards. A month to maybe a month and a half later, within the time of Nipsey’s death (who was a friend), now her head is busted,” he said, eyes wide with panic. “So, being a father of a daughter, makes it to where the MET experience for me might’ve been the most slow motion, beautifully embraced reality… walking through those long halls of that gallery… because I was thinking so much, on that long walk through those artifacts, about Nova. I kept thinking about Nova,” he revealed, referencing his appearance alongside Dapper Dan at the 2019 MET Gala earlier this week. Omari also said Jay is like a big bro, so there’s no way he wouldn’t show Beyoncé love. In an earlier sidebar, Omari explained that while the world knows him as Ghost, Jay-Z knows him as a little brother, saying “Jay-Z would’ve punched me in my face if I didn’t hug his wife. He would’ve said ‘n*gga, you don’t see Bey?’” He tells the site that at no point in his life, even before having his daughter, did he think disrespecting women was cool… “My honor and my respect for women – while you have idiot fanbases who go ‘Watch your wife around Omari’ – I got a wife (A), so f*ck you. Source: izusek / Getty Some Passengers Get Slammed For Grabbing Luggage During Russian Plane Tragedy That Killed 41 People More info is surfacing about the Russian airplane tragedy on Sunday that claimed the lives of 41 people, and things are not looking pretty. According to USA Today , many witnesses report that some passengers went after their luggage when the Aeroflot flight burst into flames during a crash landing. The Association of Flight Attendants warned against saving carry-on luggage in the midst of an emergency evacuation. In a statement about the Aeroflot disaster, they explained: “Reports from people on the plane indicate the evacuation may have been slowed by passengers grabbing their bags. Videos show passengers taking their carry-on bags with them as they exited the plane. We will never know if more lives could have been saved if the bags were left behind.” AFA went on to honor flight attendant Maxim Moiseyev who died in the line of duty trying to save passengers on the Aeroflot flight. A plane map of those who perished during the crisis started circling around the Internet, sparking further outrage for anyone who tried to grab their luggage during evacuation. No excuses! pic.twitter.com/9wQaujzC4m — Steve Jangelis (@StevieJsez) May 8, 2019 According to ABC , Mikhail Savchenko was on board when the Aeroflot plane burst into flames, and he posted a clip from the ground, showing people running from the burning wreck with what looked like luggage in their hands. “I do not know what to say about people who ran out with bags,” Savchenko wrote on Facebook in a translated post. “God is their judge.” The issue of carry-on luggage being a safety hazard isn’t new either. Checked baggage fees have resulted in more carry-ons that clog cabins. Past plane evacuations have also revealed passengers fleeing with luggage in Shanghai, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York and Dubai, according to USA Today. The Federal Aviation Administration clearly states , “In the unlikely event that you need to evacuate, leave your bags and personal items behind. Your luggage is not worth your life.” The U.S. airline crew members are trained to evacuate a commercial flight within 90 seconds, and every bit of those seconds are impactful. With people not following directions and safety procedures, it’s now possible warning and safety briefings might be enhanced. Others have also suggested automatic locking devices on overhead bins, although experts warn against the unintended consequences of keeping safety equipment locked up or isolating fires inside the bins. Whatever the solution may be, clearly there’s a need. No more lives can be lost because of an electronic device, luggage, wallet or anything else blocking a safe evacuation.

Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff work together and live approximately 100 yards away from each other. They see each other almost everyday and are constantly asked about one another. And yet… Amy and Matt are not merely divorced, but they are in very serious relationships with other people and yet still manage to remain amicable and supportive of each other. This prompts an obvious question, right? HOW?!? How do they make this arrangement successful? “We want to remain respectful,” Amy told Access in a recent interview, explaining how they may no longer be husband and wife… but they will always be the parents of four children. “For the sake of our kids. … We did have a long life together … it didn’t work out, we’ve moved on, but for the sake of the kids, you know,” she added. Most of Little People, Big World this season has been centered on a feud between Amy and Matt. The latter seemingly wants to sell the family farm, while the former is far more hesitant. Matt went as far as to say Amy was holding his life hostage on a recent episode, but this obstacle doesn't appear to have affected the former couple's long-term relationship. “We can drive each other crazy, but then we respect each other as well,” Matt told Us Weekly a few days ago, echoing his ex-wife's sentiment. He even said the pair often hang out together… with their respective girlfriend (Caryn Chandler) and boyfriend (Chris Marek). “We ran an event just the other day – I was there with Caryn and [she was] there with Chris, and Amy and I and Chris and Caryn all had conversation. There was no tension in the room; it was all very easy.” Easy, perhaps. But also unusual. Amy explained to this same tabloid that the quartet are likely not “going to be best friends,” yet they “can be in the same room” together. Matt, for his part, said he would love to double date with Amy and her boyfriend, but “it hasn’t gotten anywhere” yet. He has, however, put trolls in their place any time they criticize Amy online. He still has her back. The TLC costars — who share twins Jeremy and Zach Roloff, 28, son Jacob Roloff, 22, and daughter Molly Roloff, 25 — got married in 1987 and announced their split in June of 2015 “After 27 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce,” they said in a statement at the time, concluding: “We are proud of what we have accomplished together.” The duo now reside in separate houses on the same Oregon farm, which they still run as a team.
