If you’re a Tyler Perry fan and your home could use a few conversation-starting posters on the wall, then you’ve come to the right place. It’s up to you if you want to include Kanye West or Perry or the plot of the movie. It just needs to be Barry — as in Barry White — good. Just make sure to leave it in the comments section. The deadline is Noon Pacific time on March 28, and a winner will be picked the following day. If you rise to the occasion, here’s what you’ll win: -Teaser Poster -2nd Teaser Poster -Final Poster -T-Shirt -Paper Fan -Silicone Wristband -Breath Mints (That’s not a typo) For inspiration, here’s the official synopsis for the movie and the trailer: An explosive romance about forbidden desires, TYLER PERRY’S TEMPTATION tells the provocative story of Judith, an ambitious married woman whose temptation by a handsome billionaire leads to betrayal, recklessness and forever alters the course of her life. This will be the second set I have used for digital signage. The Software is not intuitive and lacking capabilities that others have. You can#39;t complain to much about “free” though. The set works well and has all the inputs needed for computer, component, HDMI and video. Even an onboard tuner can be mixed into the USB signage playback. One glaring problem with the firmware is the NON ability to start playing from the USB drive upon startup. If I set the turn ON TIME, the USB source is not on
Kimora Lee Simmons is opening up about life after her split with Djimon and her “fabulous” life… In an interview with Daily Mail Kimora runs her mouth about pretty much everything. Peep the quotes: On Her Big Personality And Career: Kimora Lee Simmons could never be described as a woman who does things by halves. Big hair, big heels, big attitude: as she herself says, ‘I have a really big mouth, I have a lot of opinions and I will be heard.’ It’s a tactic which has propelled her from being the only child of a single mother growing up in St Louis, Missouri, to becoming a Chanel runway model at 13, girlfriend (and subsequent wife) of hip hop mogul Russell Simmons at 17 and now president and creative director of the online fashion website, JustFab. As she herself explains: ‘I’m very determined, honest, open and definitely very energetic. I expect a lot as a boss and I’m very demanding, but I ask that of myself too.’ ‘After Life in the Fab Lane [Kimora’s previous show] which had sprinklings of my family life in it, I really wanted to show the workings of an office and how a team works together to build a brand,’ she says, altogether softer and more quiet than her on-screen persona. ‘It’s like The Office,’ she says, referring to the Ricky Gervais-inspired series, ‘but a lot more organized.’ On Her Weight: Part of her appeal to women lies in her self-confidence and her positive body image (admittedly not difficult to muster when you’re as striking as she is), ‘but I’ve faced rejection time and time again and I’ve been lots of different sizes,’ she says. ‘I’ve had times when I’ve been much bigger and much smaller so that you could see my ribs and I look back at some pictures and it was awful to me. But it’s all OK because I’m comfortable with myself now. It’s about being healthy and active and having a crazy schedule and running after my three kids, so I probably eat very sporadically – lots of smaller meals and snacks. It’s just about having an active lifestyle.’ On Fabulosity: It has spawned books (Fabulosity: What It Is and How to Get It) and perfumes (Baby Phat Fabulosity) and, says Kimora, ‘I came up with that phrase many years ago and people just seem to love it. It’s about knowing that we come with so much that is already fabulous but knowing also that we can always improve and be better. ‘It’s not about how skinny you are or how much money or how many diamonds you have – that’s the fluff that people sometimes look at as being the main thing. It’s about understanding that the things that make you fabulous are all inside of you.’ On Her Childhood: Growing up an only child in Missouri, Kimora was still a young girl when her parents separated, leaving her mother, Joanne Perkins, to raise her alone. ‘A lot of my ideals come from my mom,’ she says, ‘and seeing what she sacrificed for me and how hard she worked definitely shaped me.’ Did her mother constantly tell her she was fabulous? ‘Well, I think people used different words for it back then!’ Kimora laughs. ‘But she was definitely the prototype of strong womanhood for me and it’s where I get a lot of my determination from.’ Her exotic ancestry (Kimora is of Korean, Japanese and African-American descent) meant that growing up in the Midwest in the mid-Seventies and Eighties presented its own particular set of problems. ‘I was bullied and picked on because I was so different to everyone else,’ she says, ‘and I definitely didn’t believe or even know I was fabulous back then. But those hard times made me everything I am today. It’s all water under the bridge now, but being bullied and going through adversity definitely made me stronger.’ To improve Kimora’s confidence, her mother enrolled her in a modelling class when she was ten years old and after embarking on her modelling career at the age of 13, Kimora was chosen by Karl Lagerfeld to model for Chanel, where she went on to walk the runways of Paris, Milan and New York. ‘That was a real turning point for me,’ admits Kimora, ‘because everything that people considered weird about me before, well, suddenly Karl Lagerfeld said it was OK. He’s one of the biggest names in fashion, so all of a sudden it gave me a validity and introduced me to a whole other world.’ On Her Relationships: By the time she had turned 17, Kimora had already caught the eye of Russell Simmons, co-founder of the Def Jam label as well as creator of the Phat Farm clothing line (Kimora is former creative director and co-founder of its subsidiary, Baby Phat). She married him at 23 and though the couple separated in 2006, Simmons occasionally pops up in Kimora’s various TV shows with their two daughters Ming, now 13, and Aoki, ten. Kimora subsequently went on to marry actor Djimon Hounsou (best known for his roles in Blood Diamond and Amistad) and although they have a three-year-old son Kenzo, the couple separated at the end of last year. She deftly sidesteps the reasons as to why her five-year union with Hounsou didn’t last, but says: ‘Relationships do change throughout the course of your life and I always think in terms of relationships changing and evolving rather than starting and stopping. ‘Kids never go away from your life and if you’ve been married, that person probably never goes away either. You never get rid of anyone and,’ she laughs, ‘they never really get rid of you!’ Although she says she is on friendly terms with her ex-husbands, she admits: ‘Gosh, it’s not always so easy, but I try to do everything from the viewpoint of what’s best for my kids. I have three kids and two great dads and it’s not always easy, but you have to try to be a little selfless and we manage just fine.’ On Dating: Though Kimora was recently linked with heavyweight boxer Malik ‘King’ Scott, she says now: ‘I’m not with anyone at the moment – it’s just my kids and their two dads I guess’ and one wonders whether all that rampant fabulosity might not be a touch intimidating for some men. ‘Well, I think they are sometimes [intimidated],’ she admits, ‘but men are intimidated by a lot of things, you know, such as jobs and bit of determination. They have a lot of insecurities about who we are, what we have, what we look like, what we’ve accomplished and what we’re capable of because we’re fabulous and capable of doing so much and juggling so much every day. ‘People might be mad I’m saying this, but [men] do have a lot of hang-ups. But that shouldn’t deter you ladies from being great! You don’t have to dumb down – you just have to find a clever, good, secure man. I’ve found a couple – I’ve been lucky – but it’s probably hard for everybody to find that true love of a good man.’ On Growing Up Too Fast: ‘Oh my gosh, I did,’ she exclaims. ‘I was modelling at ten, I married very young and I’ve done everything pretty early. I always joke that I’ve had several midlife crises already! I’ve definitely made mistakes along the way,’ she admits, ‘but I’ve got a good head on my shoulders and,’ she adds in a rare moment of understated fabulosity, ‘things have turned out pretty well so far.’ Have you been watching Kimora’s newest show? Who do you think she’ll get with next? We have a feeling that this Djimon business still ain’t really OVER.
My name is Bethany and this is my Bieber experience. I’ve been supporting Justin for over 4 years now and in all honesty like Justin says in Baby, “I never thought that this day would come” and I never thought the day would come. Basically I already bought tickets to see Justin on the 4th March, I tried to get meet and greets then but I had no luck. It was on Ticketmaster and the website said over capacity. I kept trying and I got nothing, so instead I decided I want to go to the show even if I got the worse seats in the arena, I’m going. I searched for a normal ticket and I managed to get block 111 which was such an amazing view. I was so happy I cried because I couldn’t believe I was going to see the person I loved so badly again. A few months after I was still so excited that the Believe tour was getting closer and closer and I was going to be in the same building as Justin. T hen my mum got an e-mail from Bieberfever saying that due to high demand, Justin was releasing tickets for a 4th and final show at the O2 arena. The tickets would go on sale at 9:00 a.m. on Friday the 9th November. I asked my mum if again I could try for M&G and she said yes, but if I got it, it would be my Christmas present. I would rather meet Justin and never get Christmas or birthday presents ever again. The next morning I tried to buy the VIP package. My mum got an e-mail receipt and it was all real, I was going to meet Justin Drew Bieber, the love of my life! I was shaking and crying and thought I was going to physically be sick because nothing like this happens to me. I couldn’t thank my mum enough for paying for it and if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t of got them. On the 8th March I got to the arena got my wristband and everything. I got the the curtain and the man asked to see my wristband and I showed him. He said, “You’re having a single picture?” and I just nodded as I couldn’t speak knowing the person I love so much was just behind a curtain. A few seconds later the security opened the curtain and told me to walk in. There he was. As I walked in, Justin was staring at me and smiling. Everything around me was a blur. I remember there being loads of Justin’s crew in the room watching him. Hell, for all I know Jaden Smith, or any famous person could of been in there but I could not tell you because honestly the only person I saw was Justin. I carried on walking down to him but his bodyguard told me to stop, and he put his arm in front of me. It was because Justin said something to Alfredo. The only reason I noticed Alfredo in there is because Justin said something to him. Then Justin finished what he was saying and looked at me as I walked down to him. The first thing I said to him was, “Can you please sign my ticket?” and Justin went to take it but his bodyguard put his hand in front of me and was like, “Justin Bieber cannot sign anything.” I looked up and Justin was staring at me and he looked so upset and he said, “I’m really sorry” and it actually broke my heart how genuinely sorry he was about the situation. When I looked up, he was already staring at me it was the best feeling in the world. He was staring into my eyes. Like he new I existed. No picture of Justin could ever prove to anybody how beautiful he really is. No word of a lie he looked like an angel. Then he said to me, “Shall we take the picture?” and I was like “YES,” and so I moved to the side and wrapped my arms around him and held onto him as tightly as I could. I was holding my entire world in my arms. It was crazy. Just before we took the picture I said, “My name’s Beth” because no one normally tells him there name so I thought it is realistically my only chance to ever meet him. When the photo was done I didn’t let go of him for a bit and instead I asked for a hug and he said, “Of course!” and hugged me. Then we just stared at each other for like 5 seconds, and then his bodyguard said, “You have to leave now” but I didn’t move. I quickly said to Justin, “I love you so much, you’re my everything.” He said back to me, “Thank you, I love you too Sweetie” and I was just like ajsiddscsvsda on the inside. I can’t believe that I can actually write about meeting Justin, and even though it happened, I got a picture and I have photos of the concert, there is no way it seems real. I met the boy who sings One Time, who I have loved for ages. Who does so much for charity but nobody cares about that because they always bring him down on the news and in the press. I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to meet Justin and it is never going to seem real, even though it happened. I want to thank Justin for making all this possible even when he feels the worst and he thinks he can’t continue anymore. Beliebers will never leave Justin I wish he would realize that. We love him too much. He makes mistakes but so does everyone. He is human (even if he looked too perfect and doll-like to be) at the end of the day. He acknowledges his mistakes and learns from them. I’m so proud of him for making my day, when I’m not feeling the best or I’m upset, I can always listen to his music or watch his videos and I am happy again. He is the nicest person in the world and I don’t know how people can say some of the things they say about him. He has accomplished more than most likely any of you will in your life in a matter of days. I want to thank my mum for getting the ticket and not freaking out and having a panic attack like me. I want to thank God because I think none of this would of happened without God’s help. I met the one I love and my whole world on Friday the 8th March 2013, and I’m proud I can say that. -@bethanyhorne_ Continued here: My name is Bethany and this is my Bieber experience. I’ve…
Shiri Appleby, who is currently pregnant, is really putting a lot of effort into getting noticed in the celebrity world. She had a taste of fame in the 90s, or whenever that show Roswell was on, and she’s coming back for more. This time, doing it the right way, which is also the bottom feeding, attention seeking, hooker way, that is actually pretty easy to pull off. Here are the 10 steps to getting famous when already in LA, and already semi established because you’ve had a recurring role on a TV show at one point or another in your career, even if it was a fucking decade ago. Step 1 – Hire the paparazzi to take pics of you in your bikini on the beach even if you are pregnant . Pregnancy is counter productive to this whole step by step thing, but if rich sperm comes around, take it, and smear it on your cervix as best as you can. It is a better retirement plan than love level celebrity. Step 2 – Leak a nude pic , pretend it isn’t you like you were that fat girl Kat Deeley, or Vanessa Hudgens or the countless other girls who were in movies, but in backseat roles who needed to step up for themselves and scream “Look at me I’m Here” Step 3- Get cast on a really popular show, even if you don’t get paid. Especially if that show has a nude monster of a woman in it, I am talking a real ditch pig who shouldn’t even be naked when she’s alone and showering, let alone nude on TV. Even the most desperate of people wouldn’t be eager to fuck her, or fantasize about her on TV. But she wrote the show so the producers (Judd Appatow) give her the chance to feed that ego like she was Gaga. You know, always the ugly one, finally making a stand while the hot girls she envied are busy being hot. While she’s finally sexualized herself like she was hot, because ultimately, it is her fucking show. More importantly, Girls and Lesbians relate to ugly girls more than they do to hot girls, because girls are all insecure. Step 4 – Get naked on that really popular show, a show that empowers women, even if you don’t get paid, because anything is better than the ditch pig who normally gets naked in the show, making you, even if you’re the hottest, you’re fucking hotter than that thing Lena Dunham. (I watched the clip until the point where she said “I can love your dick and not be a whore” and realized this shit is not for me. It is written by girls and represents everything I hate. Low quality, obvious commentary, fake edgy, fuck yourself Lena Dunham for producing this empowering crap, that is just crap.) Step 5 – Repeat until people who aren’t the virgin losers who love you, never forget you, because Roswell was their life, notice. Shiri Appleby got this formula down. Let’s see what happens.
North Dakota lawmakers sent their state’s Republican governor a pair of anti-abortion bills yesterday, both of which would impose the strictest ban on this practice of any state in the country. One proposal would make the procedure illegal as early as six weeks into a pregnancy, while the other would prohibiting women from having an abortion because a fetus has a genetic defect, such as Down Syndrome. While pro-choice advocates say they will protest these measures if they pass, supporters of the bills make it clear that their goal is to challenge the 1973 Supreme Court ruling of Roe v. Wade. Rep. Bette Grande introduced the bills and said the state’s budget never crossed the mind of her or anyone on her side. “I don’t look at it from the financial side of things,” Grande told The Associated Press on Friday. “I look at it from the life side of things.” The measures now go into Governor Jack Dalrymple’s hands, with The American Civil Liberties Union referring to them as “extreme” and noting that many women don’t realize they’re even pregnant until after six weeks. “In America, no woman, no matter where she lives, should be denied the ability to make this deeply personal decision,” ACLU executive director Anthony Romero said in a statement.

It’s taken about a month for this to go viral, but it was worth the wait. Vanderbilt University student Michael Pollack went to see Billy Joel give a lecture/concert this winter when, during a Q&A session, he made the ballsiest request ever: Could he accompany his hero on “New York State of Mind”? Joel, awesomely, obliged … and it was incredible: Michael Pollack and Billy Joel You can see why the music legend gave him major props afterward. Pollack later talked about how the moment in January came about. He tells InsideVandy: “So I decided I was gonna go see Billy Joel right when we found out he was coming, and as a childhood idol of mine, right away I knew what I wanted to do when we went there.” “And the day came, I put together a question, and I was raising my hand, and my friends to the right of me kept pointing to me, and finally after a few questions he picked on me.” “I hesitantly said how ‘New York State of Mind’ was my favorite song, and how I had performed it with his saxophonist Richie Cannata in the past.” “I’ve been playing [the song] for at least eight years. I wondered if I could go up and play it with him. He thought for a little – he took a second – and then he just said okay.” “I had to tune up a little and learn the bridge one more time before the show just in case he called on me. But for the most part, it was by ear.” “I kind of lost myself playing. Then afterward he said to me … he said that I was great, where are you from … and I said, ‘I’m a Long Islander just like you.’ He was like, ‘Cool.’ Then I walked off, and that was it.” “It was probably the greatest moment of my life, up to date.” We imagine many more like it are still to come.
