Welp Jamie Foxx Says He Has To “Be White” In Order To Work In Hollywood Via RadarOnline Jamie Foxx isn’t shy about sharing his views on the differences between black people and white people. The Academy Award winning actor, who was snubbed for his performance in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained at the Golden Globe nominations on Thursday, candidly sounded off in the December/January issue of VIBE about how everything in his life is built around race, and RadarOnline.com has all the details. “As black folks we’re always sensitive,” Foxx said. “As a black person it’s always racial. I come into this place to do a photo shoot and they got Ritz crackers and cheese — I’ll be like, ain’t this a b*tch. Y’all didn’t know black people was coming. What’s with all this white sh*t? By the same token, if there is fried chicken and watermelon I’ll say ain’t this a b*tch? So, no matter what we do as black people it’s always gonna be that.” Jamie went on to talk about how he has to alter his behavior to assimilate to Hollyweird culture. Every single thing in my life is built around race,” he explained. “I don’t necessarily speak it because you can’t. But the minute I leave my house, I gotta put my other jacket on and say, ‘Hey, Thomas, Julian and Greg.’ And I gotta be a certain person.” Leonardo DiCaprio, who was part of the VIBE roundtable interview along with Kerry Washington, didn’t understand Foxx’s name references, to which VIBE clarified, “Those are white people.” “No, some of those are black,” Foxx corrected. “But when I get home my other homies are like ‘how was your day?’ Well, I only had to be white for at least eight hours today, [or] I only had to be white for four hours. Everything we do is that.” He also explained how he feels that whites and blacks react to movies differently. “Black people watch a movie different than white folks,” he said. “When you watch Inglourious Basterds, Jewish people have a more quiet response. [Whispers] ‘I can’t believe they did that.’ When black people don’t like something it’s like: [louder] ‘Ay dawg, why Olivia Pope went down like that. That sh*t is f*cked up.’ “Because there’s certain things that we watch as black people that if we don’t agree with it, we not only turn off the movie but we turn off that person. When we feel like the character was compromised by the white establishment.” Jamie makes some valid points about the black perspective, but obviously he doesn’t speak for all black folks. What do you think? Is any of Jamie’s rhetoric legit?
My name is Hengi and I’m 17. Let me just start by saying how much I prayed to meet Justin someday. I’ve been a belieber since 2009 and on November 26, 2012 in Montreal I saw my idol for the first time. Well first of all, I went really early at the arena around 8:00 AM. I went there alone since none of my friends could come with me. There was about 20 girls waiting in front of the garage and I decided to wait there also. Around 9:00 AM we saw a bus coming and we started freaking out. His grandma and grandpa were inside . When the bus left in the garage, suddenly Diane comes out and starts talking to us. I was right behind the fence so I was talking to her mostly. Some girls took pictures with her but I didn’t want to bother so I didn’t ask for a photo. I gave her a scrapbook that I made for Justin (which I worked on 2 months before the show). She was really sweet and she told me, “Don’t worry! I will give it to him”. When she left, I had a little hope. I was determined to see Justin. At 11:30 AM, some girls started leaving because it was too cold and they couldn’t wait any longer. Since that was my only chance of seeing him, I still waited. After a while, a man came out and he told us that Justin would come out later with Alfredo on his segwey to meet us. I was so happy. I did not move from my spot and I stayed right behind the fence. Around 1:00, a lot of girls started loosing hope and they left. Some of them still stayed there though. I could barely feel my fingers and my toes, it was extremely cold. I knew that Justin knew that we were waiting for him to come outside in the cold. I know my idol, and I know he would not let us stay there for no reason. Suddenly, as soon as the door of the garage opened at 2:00, I turned around and there he was. My heart was racing, my hands were shaking and all I could see was his beautiful face and his huge hat. I didn’t even scream or say anything. He came right in front of me and I made an eye contact with him. As soon as everyone saw him, they all ran in front of the garage, I decided to go inside and take a picture with him but it was getting too crazy. People were pushing and screaming. Unfortunately I couldn’t take a photo with him but I got pictures of him. He kept saying “I love you!” to everyone and he was sending kisses! He really tried to take pictures but he couldn’t or else girls would attack him. Since there was too many people running towards the garage he decided to leave before it would have gotten crazier. As soon as he left, I started crying. I couldn’t believe that Justin Bieber, my idol, was right in front of me. The security guard who was there told us that Justin was the first artist who ever came out to meet his fans and that he actually cared and wanted to sign autographs. Me and a random girl that I met couldn’t stop crying together. We were in shock that he was just in front of us. That day, was the best day of my life. Not only was the show amazing over all, but the fact that I got to see him 2 feet away from me was the best feeling in the world. I will never forget that day and I hope to meet him and actually talk to him next time. – @PerfectBieber16 See original here: My name is Hengi and I’m 17. Let me just start by saying how…

My Bieber Experience begins with joining the bieberfever.com fan-club. As a member we had access to the M&G contest they held! I snapped the best picture I could of all my Bieber gear and my friend Andrea did the same. We weren’t getting our hopes too high but we never lost them either. Our concert was November 21st in Detroit, Michigan and we were just planning on going and enjoying it. Andrea and I got a hotel the day before the show. I was getting my nails done for it at a shop down the street, they had to look good! While in the chair Andrea rushed over to me, showed me the ‘Congratulations!’ email she got from BieberFever telling us we’d won and inviting us to the photo Meet & Greet! I had to struggle not to scream and cry . Our dream had finally come true! We spent the rest of the night and the next day with our stomach in knots freaking out since it was hard to process. When we got to the arena they gave us the run-around bit before they finally found the envelope with Andrea’s name on it and two wristbands inside for us . We put them on and instantly freaked out, it was REAL! This was going to HAPPEN! We were in line for a bit, walking and queuing. Apparently Justin was a little late or something. I ain’t mad at him though. We organized our group going in and we were the last two in ours, but I was crazy excited anyway. Being in the same room and photo with Justin was gonna be incredible however it went down. Once the line began moving our nerves hit us big time! As we kept going down the steps to the room, people came out of the doorway shaking and breathing hard, freaking out. I knew they’d just gone in to meet him and my stomach was starting to turn. I kept trying to sneak glances over and between people. When I laid eyes on him, my breath hitched for a minute, he was beautiful . We were still moving unbelievably fast. We were in the room for our picture before I knew it. I couldn’t even process who was where, all I heard was a countdown so I smiled and the picture was snapped! I think everyone else left the room because before I knew it, I was right in front of him! I heard him say, “Thank you” to us before we were walking out to leave and I’m not sure anyone else heard him but his voice was so velvety. I couldn’t believe I was hearing it so close. I knew we had to get outta there quick, so as I walked by him I just opened up my arms and he hugged me! That five second hug made my life. He was so soft, yet strong at the same time. I didn’t get to take in his scent though, I couldn’t focus right. Andrea went in for a hug too but security were hella rude and dragged her off of him. But Justin grabbed her hand and squeezed it before she got pulled away. It was overall an incredible experience and everything I dreamed it would be. The best 15 seconds of my entire life happened at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Don’t ever give up on your dreams. If you want it bad enough, KEEP TRYING. Justin is waiting to meet you one day too. -Lauren G. Read more: My Bieber Experience begins with joining the bieberfever.com…

My name is Jeannie and on November 9th my dream came true. It came true again on November 12th and November 28th! The concert where I met Justin was my first Believe concert and it was honestly the most magical day of my life. First, I didn’t know I was meeting Justin but a few weeks before the concert I found out I was and and I never thought I would meet him. First, me and my friend got to Izod in time for the meet and greet and were freaking out because we were somewhat in the front of the line, and when we walked in and I saw him, I didn’t know what to do with myself but I stayed cool. I immediately ran in and hugged Justin and asked him how he was . We took the picture and then my friend said stuff to him about Pencils of Promise and he went “SWAGGY!” Then, I said “Justin I love you so much” and he said, “Aw, love you.” Then as security was kicking me out I said, “I love you” a lot more times and he said, “LAH YOU!” I left and literally started to cry hysterically. I never thought I would meet him in a million years. Then I saw Jaden and Moises Arias and got pictures with them! Then I met the Victoria’s Secret Angels! The show started and this was the first time I was watching it live and I was front row! The show was so amazing and it just got more and more amazing as I watched it two more times! Every belieber will meet him one day and it will be the best day of your life, just like it was for me. Justin really cares about his beliebers and that’s one of the million reasons why I love him so much. #NEVERSAYNEVERANDBELIEVE More here: My name is Jeannie and on November 9th my dream came true. So sad … Teenage Girl Commits Suicide Because Of Online Bullies Jessica Laney, 16, of Hudson, Florida, was a popular soccer-playing high schooler in her real-life, but when she got home to the privacy of her computer she had a busy social media alter-ego on sites such as Tumblr, and Ask.fm, where people can ask questions and make anonymous comments… Via RadarOnline reports: The student at Fivay High School bantered with other users on the site under the name Jessica Marieee1, and while many posts were about boys, songs and make-up, some took on a much more sinister tone, calling her fat and a loser. One visitor asked her, “Can you kill yourself already?” and another commented “nobody even cares about you.” While many of her real friends believe that the taunts from Internet trolls are to blame for Jessica’s death by hanging, an official from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says neither Laney’s parents nor Laney’s boyfriend were aware of any bullying in her life. “Our thoughts and prayers go to the Jessica Marie Laney’s family as they deal with their loss. (Pasco County Sheriff’s Office) is not aware of any formal complaint to the Pasco School District or PSO about her being bullied,” said Doug Tobin, Public Information Officer for the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. However, some telling online comments from Jessica herself on Ask.fm hint at deep rifts in her home-life and trouble with her family. “I miss so many people, but honestly I miss my brother, not the person he is now, but the one he use to be,” she wrote two days before her death. “I know he doesn’t miss me, but it still hurts to know he will never come back and more than likely never talk to me again.” Many of Jessica’s friends are now campaigning to have the controversial website taken down and have launched a petition on Change.org, that has already garnered thousands of signatures. “After I saw that, I thought they should just delete the website. Nobody should have that, to have people say stuff like that on there,” said school pal Laney Torres. The old adage “sticks and stones will break bones, but words will never hurt” is so far from the truth. Parents need to be into their kids business, all of it. Our deepest sympathies to this young girl’s family.
