American Horror Story Recap: The Traitor

Wednesday’s episode found our favorite coven of witches desperately trying to find some allies as the war against Michael Langdon aka The Antichrist loomed.  Cordelia turned to Dinah Stevens, the witch who we know is in Outpost 3 in the present in this time jumping series, and asked her for a meeting.  The meeting was with Papa Legba, but Dinah was not about to set that up until she got some cold hard cash for the inconvenience of summoning the voodoo devil.  Cordelia parted with $100,000 and got a lot more than she bargained for when she realized that Nan was working with the elusive villain in hell.  “I really like hell,” she admitted to Cordelia. “It’s fun! … I make trouble.” Cordelia’s plan sounded rather simple: She wanted Papa Legba to open the gates of hell long enough to trap Michael in there for the rest of eternity.  While Papa Legba seemed to like the idea of Michael being all locked up in his realm, he said she would need to give him something in return.  All of her girls would have to make their way to the dimension, presumably so he could harness their powers. But that was not enough for Cordelia to agree to the offer.  Instead, she pleaded with Dinah after Papa Legba exited the scene, but Dinah was open about that being the only way out for them.  While Cordelia’s plan fizzled out, we got to witness a whole new plan thanks to the addition of Bubbles McGee, Joan Collins’ second character this season.  The washed-up movie star could tell what people were thinking, so Madison reached out to her in a blatant attempt to make the first strike against the men of Michael’s school.  Myrtle and Bubbles indulged in a dinner party with the warlocks, and that’s when Bubbles learned the frightening truth about John Henry: He was murdered, and both men knew all about it.  John Henry was brought back to life courtesy of Mallory and Zoe harnessing their magical abilities, and John Henry had a revenge plan in mind.  Cordelia intercepted Ariel and Baldwin’s plan to send powder through the air to kill her and her girls and noted that the idea was stolen from a woman.  Those warlocks switched the gender and set out to steal the idea for themselves. In any case, they were burned at the stake alongside Miss Mead.  John Henry returned to do the lightning, but it didn’t seem to faze Miss Mead who was chanting that it was a rebirth of sorts for her.  This episode was transitional more than anything. It set the tone for what’s to come in the coming weeks as the battle against the Antichrist gets underway.  What are your thoughts on the latest twists and turns? Hit the comments below! Vicki Gunvalson Slams Castmates: You Losers Are Obsessed With Shannon Beador!

Maybe a year and a half ago, Shannon Beador was blaming Vicki Gunvalson’s rumor-mongering for her weight gain. Now, things are very different. On the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County , Shannon Beador flipped out . Vicki is riding to Shannon’s defense, saying that the situation was unfair — and was Gina and Emily’s fault. Vicki Gunvalson took to her Bravo blog to defend Shannon. First and foremost, Vicki set the stage for Shannon snapping the way that she did. “We were all miserable in Jamaica, as it was way too hot,” Vicki shares. She writes: “And the hotel rooms did not have air conditioning due to an air compressor being broken.” (I wouldn’t wish for even my worst enemy to be in Virginia without air conditioning. Jamaica? I’d have quit the show and flown back right away) “They were able to eventually accommodate us on the last few days and moved us to a new villa where it was nice and cool,” Vicki says. “I think all of our nerves were shot,” Vicki explains. “And things heated up and got out of control.” Now that she’s explained everyone’s frayed nerves and Shannon’s ponytail, she starts in on the actual conflict. “I think we should have calmly discussed our concerns or issues with Shannon, without going on the attack mode,” Vicki writes. “I’ve been on the receiving end of this type of argument when people go after you,” she says. “And it’s not fun by any means.” Vicki wants to make it very clear that she was not a deliberate participant in this, and that her concern about Shannon appearing to be drinking alone was genuine. “I told Shannon just today that she is in a much better place than she was six months ago when this was filmed,” Vicki adds. “And,” she continues. “I’m proud of her strength and accomplishments.” “It was taken out of context when I said Shannon has ‘rich girl problems’ when she was talking about having to move again,” Vicki writes. “She was not discussing the amount of support she receives,” Vicki clarifies. “Or that she was ungrateful for it.” Vicki says: “she was just saying she just got settled in her home and now she had to look for a new place.” You know what? That’s valid. Also, has anyone noticed how much Vicki is trying to hold herself accountable for her words these days? Good for her. Hey, so, remember that part of this week’s episode when Tamra responded to Shannon by screaming at her? Vicki remembers. “I don’t know all the history of why Tamra got so upset with Shannon,” Vicki says. “Other than what I have heard from Tamra.” “She was truly concerned for Shannon,” Vicki continues. “And felt Shannon wasn’t there for Tamra during that time.” Vicki continues: “I just think the delivery could have been a little ‘softer.'” “Like Shannon said, she thought it was resolved at their lunch date at Roger’s Garden,” Vicki notes. “So clearly there was more that transpired after that, which I wasn’t aware of.” As we discussed, Tamra no longer feels sorry for Shannon , which is quite a thing to say about your BFF. Vicki sounds fed up: “I don’t know why Gina and Emily are so obsessed with ‘being friends with Shannon.'” “It’s clear that they don’t have an authentic interest in her life or what she is going through,” Vicki assesses. “Nor do I think it’s fair to continue to talk about it,” Vicki says. “Friendships happen naturally and are never good if they are forced.” (Spoken like a woman who’s never used overt friendliness as a weapon to get her way, we take it) Real talk, though, Gina and Emily probably want to forge these friendships to cement their place on the show. “It’s like they are obsessed with talking about it,” Vicki continues. In Vicki’s eyes, “Just because they are hanging out with Shannon doesn’t mean they have to be BFF’s.” “My feeling,” Vicki writes. “Is to let it flow naturally.” It can be difficult to very naturally form friendships while on camera, however. “Shannon and I don’t see much of Gina and Emily,” Vicki shades. “So I don’t know why they are so focused on it.” In Vicki’s eyes: “For some of the girls to continue to prod Tamra on her friendship with Shannon when they knew it was issue is just plain mean.” “It is disingenuous of Gina to purposely try to drive a wedge between Tamra and Shannon and then claim to be some victim,” Vicki accuses. Vicki has a theory: “It’s like she thinks she is going to win Tamra over if she is friends with her and not Shannon?” “Are we in grade school?” Vicki asks. “Is this a game?” “Gina does not have the history Tamra and Shannon do,” Vicki says. “And my advice is to leave them be and let them sort this out on their own.” “They sure don’t need Gina’s advice on this,” in Vicki’s opinion. “Shannon’s situation is completely different than anyone else’s,” Vicki affirms. “Her divorce is nasty and very difficult to handle.” “Kelly stirred the pot by telling Shannon that Tamra thinks Shannon isn’t a good friend,” she accuses. “That’s not being a friend at all.” “She threw that out there and then walked away smirking, which is extremely mean,” Vicki writes. “It is NOT ok talking ‘crap’ on your friend behind her back.” “And,” Vicki continues. “When Kelly said ‘David must have been a saint’ is wrong and NOT ok.” “She owes Shannon an apology,” Vicki concludes. “As they are very good friends still.” Who’d have thought this time last year that Vicki would come riding to Shannon’s defense? Ronnie Magro: Jen Harley Beat the Sh-t Out of Me! Again!

For months now, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley have been making tabloid headlines non-stop thanks to their tumultuous and often violent relationship. Unfortunately for everyone involved, Ronnie and Jen keep getting back together, and they insist on trying to “make it work” for the sake of their infant daughter, Ariana. This week, the relationship once again erupted in violence, and Ron posted photos of his latest injuries from Jen on Instagram. Take a look: 1. Happier Days It’s hard to believe Jen and Ronnie have any peaceful times together, as all we ever see of their relationship is anger and violence. 2. Believe It Or Not … But both parties claim that when things are good between them, they’re really good. Unfortunately, those periods have been few and far between lately. 3. Notorious Jen and Ronnie have become infamous for their blowout fights, particularly two recent altercations. 4. What Happens In Vegas First, Jen went off on Ron in front of MTV cameras after crashing the set of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. 5. What a Drag Shortly thereafter, Ron had to cancel on joining his castmates in Seaside, as he was nursing injuries he sustained when Harley dragged him by her car during another fight in Vegas. 6. More of the Same Now, Ronnie claims Jen has assaulted him yet again, and Shore fans are imploring him to get out while he still can. View Slideshow

Bristol Palin: Dakota Has Ditched My Son… and It Sucks!

Bristol Palin has not enjoyed her time thus far as a cast member on Teen Mom OG. She may like the giant check in her bank account and the renewed attention she has received as a result of joining this franchise… … but nearly every scene that features Bristol so far has involved her either arguing with Dakota Meyer or crying over the state of their relationship . This relationship is now over, of course, as Palin and Meyer filed for divorce months ago. However, viewers have been watching the marriage fall apart all season long on Teen Mom OG, with an upcoming episode dedicated specifically to Palin packing up her stuff and moving out. What will be the most painful part of this split for Bristol that we see highlighted on the installment? Scroll down to find out: 1. So Long, Farwell On the October 29, 2018 episode of Teen Mom, Palin will move out of the home she shared with Meyer and attempt to move on with her life. As she does so, however, she will talk to a producer and share what hurts the most about this break-up. 2. So… What Hurts the Most? According to footage from this episode, it’s the impact that her divorce has had and will continue to have on nine-year old son Tripp. “He hasn’t reached out to Tripp and Tripp is crushed by it,” Bristol tells the producer of Meyer. “It breaks my heart.” 3. That Sucks So Much! Tripp was born to Bristol and ex-fiance Levi Johnston back in 2009. But the very young man had grown close to Meyer over the years. 4. What About Tripp’s Biological Dad? Thankfully, Johnston, has actually stepped up to the plate and become a great father. “I’m thankful Tripp’s dad is doing amazing. We’ve turned a corner,” Bristol says on this episode of her relationship with her ex. 5. What About Dakota and His Daughter? Bristol and Meyer share two young girls, Sailor, 2, and Atlee, 1. And Palin at least acknowledges that Dakota remains close to these kids and is a great dad to them. 6. There Has Been Controversy Over These Kids, However In a video sponsored by MTV in promotion of the new season, Bristol said the following about her past with Meyer: “I got engaged and pregnant within a month. Planned a wedding. And I was like, ‘I can’t get married.’ Called off the wedding. Went through the whole pregnancy by myself.” View Slideshow

Sarah Drew Had a Problem with Her Grey’s Anatomy Exit

Can Sarah Drew be honest for a few minutes? Can she just go ahead and keep it real for a moment? Okay, great. The actress really appreciates it. As you very likely know by now, Drew was let go from Grey’s Anatomy in March, about two months before the end of Season 14. She had starred as Dr. April Kepner for years and was considered a fan favorite, which is why both Drew and millions of viewers out there felt blindsided by ABC’s decision . While producers have not come out and said it, both Drew and Jessica Capshaw were not brought back to the series for budgetary reasons. This is the assumption most fans have been making at least. As for how April was written off the drama? Her storyline wrapped up for good up when she got married to former fiance Matthew Taylor and left Seattle. And now Drew has spoken out for the first time about whether she thinks April received a proper send-off. “In the moment it felt rushed, to be perfectly honest,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight about her depature, adding: “I felt like it wasn’t really earned because we just didn’t get enough time. We [had] like a scene together that whole season and hadn’t seen each other for four years before that. “I would’ve liked to have actually grown their relationship to a point where it felt earned for them to get married.” That’s a very fair point. It’s reasonable to wonder how far in advance ABC made the choice not to bring Drew back for Season 15. Still, Drew wants to make it clear: She isn’t really complaining. She’s grateful for her time on the show and she can even see how her character’s closing arc made a special kind of sense. “In hindsight, I think there is something beautifully redemptive that goes along with April’s return to faith and rebirth,” she told ET, continuing as follows: “The person that she hurt the most in her life was the man she left at the altar, and the redemption story comes full circle in the reconciliation between the two of them. Even in the darkest and the most painful of relationship experiences, there can still be healing and hope and love and joy, so there was something about that that I could totally get behind. “I just wish we’d had a little more time to play it out. Finally, while Drew has moved on (she’s currently starring in a movie called Indivisble ), she isn’t bitter toward producers or anything. Heck, she’d likely make a return to Grey’s Anatomy if the opportunity ever presented itself. “I’ll never say never because they are my family. I still love everyone over there,” she said when ths topic was broached, concluding: “I love that community and I still have such an incredible space in my heart for everyone over there, but I really do feel like, because of how it went down, I really had to part ways with April. “I just had to. “There was no way for me to live in a space of possibility of her returning and also be healthy in my letting go of all of it, so I really have said goodbye to her.” View Slideshow: Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: It’s About to Go DOWN in Season 15

Amy Duggar Shades Family Members for Having Kids Too Soon

The last time we wrote about Amy Duggar, we said that her famous family members had just recently allowed her back into their lives . Such a re-entrance may have been short-lived, however. Why do we say this? Because Amy has come out with some serious fire for her supposed loved ones! Often considered the black sheep of her strict and conservative family, Amy once posed nude on Twitter . Even worse in the eyes of her cousins, aunts and uncles, Amy has been married for three years — and she has no kids! Zero. Zilch. None at all. While this may seem impossible to believe for anyone with the last name Duggar, Amy tells Radar Online that she has a simple explanation for why she and husband Dillon have decided to wait. “I didn’t want to limit myself by just getting pregnant right off the bat and not exploring the rest of what my life could be,” Duggar says simply . At least it sounds simple to us . Plenty of husbands and wives want to travel a bit or just enjoy each other’s company for awhile before their world gets taken over by children. It’s a reasonable position for anyone to take. Anyone not named Duggar, that is. As regular Hollywood Gossip readers surely know well, Jinger Duggar, Joy-Anna Duggar and Kendra Duggar ALL gave birth to their first child in 2018. They each got pregnant basically as soon as they tied the knot and were permitted, per family rules, to engage in intercourse with their significant others. Duggar females basically exist simply to get married and then to procreate as often as possible. But Amy is focused on her new clothing boutique at the moment and isn’t desperate to become a mother. It will almost definitely happen at some point; she just doesn’t understand the immediacy. “Babies are on our brain for sure,” Amy says of her and her husband. But she wants to make sure her professional life is in order first and that she is as ready as one can be to take the journey to motherhood before actually doing so. What a crazy concept, right?!? “I want to be settled. I think it’s boutique, and then a baby,” said the former reality star, explaining how she wants to successfully launch her business before dedicating herself to a tiny human being. She also wants to make sure her relationship can handle it. Having a baby is a really big deal! It can destroy a marriage if two people are not on the same page. “I want to have this really great foundation with my husband so that when my baby turns 18 years old, I’m not learning how to love my husband all over again,” says Amy. We hate to break it to you, Amy, but such logic likely just got you kicked out of the family again . We’re guessing you’re cool with that, though. Justine Skye Tells Her Domestic Violence Story With The Release Of “Build” Feat. Arin Ray [VIDEO]

SplashNews.com Justine Skye Reveals She Suffered An Abusive Relationship We have had our eye on Justine Skye for a LONG time and are happy to see that she is finding a real voice for herself and revealing some difficult truths in the process. The singer’s video for her new single “Build” was released at midnight. The clip, which also features Interscope artist Arin Ray, showcases Justine and other young women coping with some pretty ugly situations with young men. Watch it below: Prior to dropping the video Justine posted a few times on Instagram to let fans know it was coming. Then when it dropped she posted a short clip along with a longer caption describing something she recently experienced in her real life. As DV Awareness month comes to an end.. the issue doesn’t just disappear. Recently I’ve had one of the scariest/heart breaking experiences in my life and it’s still hard for me to talk about. I felt stupid, angry, depressed.. blamed myself. Trying to figure out how someone who claimed they loved me so much could find such evil within themselves to hurt me mentally and physically. Learned a lot about the people I chose to call my “friends”.. and about myself. I was one of those people who would be like “No man would ever put their hands on me! .. blah blah blah..” We all think we know what we’d do until it’s happening to you. Now, I’m not looking for sympathy and never thought this would be part of the story I’d be telling of my self.. unfortunately it is, but I won’t let it be what defines me. I had to find the strength within myself and I’m hoping that through this video I can motivate whoever else is going through this or worse, to do the same. You are strong, you are loved and you deserve so much better “Grown-Ish” actor Da’Vinchi who played Justine’s love interest in the video also posted a clip to promote the release of the visualsk, noting that it was “based on a true story” in his caption. These are really important things that we all should be discussing. We hope that Justine has gotten the help she needs to recover from her trauma and that she’ll use her voice to continue to amplify the real issues. Now we’re really looking forward to what this RocNation stunner has in store with her upcoming album!
