2010 Top Earning Models As Forbes Announced

Forbes has announced its ranking of the world’s top-earning models for 2010. Models on the list were ranked according to estimated earnings from June 2009 to June 2010. (Source: Photo/Xinhua and Wikipedia) No 1. Gisele Bundchen earned 25 million U.S. dollars, the same figure as last year. Gisele Caroline Bündchen (born July 20, 1980) is a Brazilian model and occasional film actress. According to Forbes, she is the highest-paid model in the world and also the sixteenth richest woman in the entertainment world, with an estimated $150 million fortune. Bündchen also acts as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme. No.2 Heidi Klum – Earned $16 Million Dollars Heidi Samuel (born June 1, 1973), better known by her birth name Heidi Klum, is a German American model, actress, television host, business woman, fashion designer, television producer, artist, and occasional singer. She is married to English singer Seal. No.3 Kate Moss – Earned $9 Million Dollars Katherine “Kate” Ann Moss (born 16 January 1974) is an English model. She went to Riddlesdown high school. She has appeared on over 300 magazine covers. She is known for her waifish figure, uncommonly short height for a fashion model, and appearances in many advertising campaigns. She is also notorious for her high-profile relationships and party lifestyle. Generals Have Warned That Fat Americans Are Now National Threat

According to two retired generals, the increasing rate of obesity among young Americans could weaken the future of the U.S. military. More than 25 percent of young Americans now are too fat to fight. The generals want Congress to introduce laws that will give US children better nutrition in school such as providing them with better foods with less sugar, salt and fat. John Shalikashvili and Hugh Shelton were former chairmen of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff. They wrote “Obesity rates threaten the overall health of America and the future strength of our military.” Both the former generals consider it a serious problem from a national security perspective. Together with more than 130 other retired generals, admirals and senior military leaders; they call on to Congress to pass new child nutrition legislation. The warning comes in the middle of mounting fears that childhood obesity has become an “epidemic” that affects one in three young American people. You start thinking, ‘Oh my God.’ It just makes you appreciate how lucky we all are.” Osbourne added that the last time she had seen Michaels, he was “absolutely” in good health. There has been a team of 30 Spanish doctors who successfully succeeded the first full face transplant. A man that has been injured in a shooting accident has undergone a a full face transplant. The whole operation was done for 22 long hours. Vall d’Hebron University Hospital spokesperson told BBC: “This is the first total face transplant. “There have been 10 operations of this kind in the world – this is the first to transplant all of the face and some bones of the face.” Partial face transplants have been carried out in China and the US since 2005 but when it comes to a full face transplant, it is the first one. A spokesperson for the UK’s Facial Transplantation Research Team, which has ethical permission to carry out a full face transplant, said it was “a tremendous achievement”. 1. Patient lost jaw, nose and other parts of his face in shooting accident. 2. Donor’s facial skin, muscles, nose, cheekbones, teeth and jawbone used to rebuild patient’s face. Metal plates used to support new facial structure, which included reconstructing the roof of the mouth. 3. Donor’s nerves, blood vessels and skin connected to patient.
