L’Wren Scott Dead Of Apparent Suicide, Found Hanging According to NY Daily News reports : Celebrated fashion designer and girlfriend to Mick Jagger was found hanged to death in an apparent suicide in her Manhattan apartment Monday, police sources said. The body of L’Wren Scott, 47, was found hanging from a scarf on a doorknob by her assistant at 200 11th Ave. around 10 a.m., sources said. Scott texted her assistant at 8:30 a.m. and asked that she come over, police sources said. When she arrived, she found the body and called 911. Police did not suspect foul play, a source said, but the Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death. No suicide note was found. Jagger said via a spokesperson that he is “completely shocked and devastated by the news” of her death, according to the BBC . The former model met the Rolling Stones singer in 2001. Scott began her career as a model in Paris shortly after graduating high school in her home state of Utah. She went on to pose for notable brands such as Thierry Mugler and Chanel, before moving to California in the early ‘90s and establishing herself as a sought-after stylist. Scott also launched her fashion brand in 2006. Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman have all worn her gowns to the Academy Awards, while other high-profile names such as Reese Witherspoon, Christina Hendricks, Sandra Bullock and even First Lady Michelle Obama have been seen wearing her designs. Her work can also be seen on the big-screen: she designed the costumes for 1996’s “Diabolique,” “Ocean’s Thirteen,” “Eyes Wide Shut” and “Shine a Light,” Martin Scorsese’s documentary about The Rolling Stones. Looks like Demi Lovato is one understanding ex-girlfriend. The pop star sat down for an E! special, Beyond Candid With Giuliana, and weighed in on Joe Jonas’ headline-making essay that featured a tidbit about his first time smoking weed. Jonas revealed in the New York Magazine article that Demi and notorious ganja lover Miley Cyrus were the ones who introduced him to pot. But no hard feelings here. As a whole, 2014 Super Bowl commercials either played it safe or opted for emotional resonance instead of going for cheap laughs or pushing the envelope. In that city alone, viewers were treated to an epic, two-minute long masterpiece from attorney Jamie Casino during the first local commercial break: Seriously, you have to see this ad to believe it … Jamie Casino Super Bowl Commercial “Daddy, what do you do when you go to work?” That’s the hard-hittng question Jamie Casino was asked by his young son, according to this amazing work of marketing, that caused him to reevaluate his life. Then came his brother Michael’s Labor Day 2012 murder, and how be believed Savannah police chief Willie Lovett covered it up. This has changed everything. Paul Walker is dead after a fiery, single-car accident and explosion in California Saturday. The driver of the car lost control and both men passed away. A rep for the actor confirmed the tragedy on his official Facebook page. He was only 40, and Walker leaves behind 15-year-old daughter Meadow. The Fast & The Furious star’s final act was a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide. It was at this event where Paul Walker died . Whether you were a friend, a co-worker or just a fan, everybody loved Paul. That much is obvious from the outpouring of sadness that followed his untimely death.
