‘I talked to Puff today, and he’s like, ‘It’s all good,’ ‘ Bad Boy rapper tells MTV News. By Rob Markman Machine Gun Kelly Photo: MTV News When Diddy first announced that he signed Machine Gun Kelly to Bad Boy Records, he said he wanted the Cleveland, Ohio, breakout to stay “true to himself.” Since the deal, the “Wild Boy” rapper doesn’t seem to have changed very much. And after his arrest for misdemeanor disorderly conduct on Sunday morning, Puff didn’t seem too bent out of shape. “@machinegunkelly where the f— are you at? Are you ok? Do you need Bail or a lawyer?????!! Eveyrone hit him to see if he’s ok,” Diddy wrote jokingly on Twitter . “@machinegunkelly WtF!!!!!! Call me at miami crib now!!!!! Everyone hit him and tell him to call me NOW!!!!! Pls thanks!!!!” “You can tell he’s, like, playful with it, but there’s a serious tone behind [it],” Machine Gun Kelly told MTV News on Monday (January 30) about his boss’ reaction to the incident in a Florida club that led to the arrest. “I talked to Puff today, and he’s like, ‘It’s all good. Do what you do. You did what you had to do.’ ” Diddy was very understanding — that is, until he misread a tweet while on the phone with Kells, which led him to believe his new prot

Ho Sit Down: Rush Limbaugh Accuses Michelle Obama Of Uppity-ism

Everybody knows that if there is one thing racist wanksters detest, it’s an “uppity negro”! Rush Limbaugh offered up his stinkin’ opinion on why our girl Chelly-O was booed at that NASCAR event saying them good ol’ All-American folk who are into car racing don’t like the First Lady for her “uppity” ways. SMH: Rush Limbaugh accused Michelle Obama of “uppity-ism” during his Monday show. Limbaugh was speaking about the First Lady’s recent reception at a NASCAR event, where both she and Jill Biden were booed by the crowd. He said it was not surprising that she was booed, because the crowd at NASCAR resented her healthy eating initiatives and her husband’s policies. “What the hell is there to cheer for?” Limbaugh asked. He said that people also didn’t like “paying millions of dollars” for Obama’s vacations. “They understand it’s a little bit of a waste,” he said. “They understand it’s a little bit of uppity-ism.” Michelle Obama has been a frequent target of Limbaugh’s. Previously, he has said she “doesn’t look like” she eats healthy foods, and criticized a trip she took to Target. Listen to his comments below: This joker is such a jerk. Talkback: Which Twilight Zone Episode Should Become a Feature Film?

Congrats to Matt Reeves, the Cloverfield director who just landed the upcoming Twilight Zone movie. Hopefully it’ll be less of an apocalyptic disaster than the 1983 movie , but I’m already feeling optimistic: Reeves is also handling the Frankenstein-rejiggering His Dark Materials , which means he has a strong grasp on the eerie and far-out. Since we know the new Twilight Zone will not be a series of episodes like the first movie, I say we suggest possible episodes of the real series for writer Jason Rothenberg to adapt. What’s your favorite?

Drake Talks About Getting His “A** Whooped” In A Fight [VIDEO]

Drake is so cool, he gets paid “just to be there.” At least that is what he told #5 Magazine; in the same issue  they dubbed Nicki Minaj “The Queen Of New York.” Drake says his first paycheck came from Hip Hop producer Dr. Dre. The Young Money artist then describes the first fight he ever had. What was the first record you bought? I think it was Queen Latifah “U.N.I.T.Y.” That was like the first cassette that I had. On his first paycheck It was from Dr. Dre for $10,000 just for being there. On his first kiss First kiss is a blur a bit because it was like, “I don’t even know if I kissed that girl.” I’d say the most memorable kiss I had was with this girl Jade Lee. We kissed this one time on the roof of my mom’s old house. We wrote our names on it. It was like some real romantic type ish. On his first fight It wasn’t much of a fight, I got my a** whopped. I got jumped at this thing we call “sports weekend” way back in the day. You drive out to Windsor and I was mouthing off to somebody and caught it one time. On the last pair of sneakers that he bought It gotta be Jordan. I rep Jordan all day. On the last car he purchased It was an Aston Martin but then I gave it back because I want to get this Ferrari Italia. B.o.B Says Fans Will ‘Be Surprised’ By His New Album

‘You’ll definitely see new music this year,’ he says at South by Southwest. By James Montgomery B.o.B Photo: MTV News AUSTIN, Texas — B.o.B’s debut disc topped the Billboard albums chart and spawned a pair of smash singles, and, in the process, transformed him from a hotly tipped underground artist to one of the brightest stars in hip-hop. As he begins work on the follow-up to The Adventures of Bobby Ray , is it possible for him to top that album’s success? Even he doesn’t know the answer to that question — but he’s willing to give it his best shot. “I would have to parallel my album coming out to losing your virginity,” he told MTV News at the South by Southwest festival. “The first time you have sex is way more exciting than the second time. Not that the second time isn’t exciting, it’s just … the initial excitement of finally having that first album. “I think that people will definitely be surprised at the music they hear on the second album,” he added. “I don’t think they would expect that coming from me.” And while details of the new album are still scarce — switching from sexual metaphors to sports metaphors, B.o.B said he’s “just at the end of the first quarter” of the recording process” — he’s already planning to give fans a taste of his new material very soon. “There’s probably going to be some surprises. There’s no telling what the next three quarters will be like,” he said. “We should be seeing something very soon. Even if not an album, you’ll definitely see new music this year.” And though he might be changing things up for album number two, B.o.B isn’t going to stray far from the concept that brought him so much success with Bobby Ray : Specifically, avoiding any and all preconceived notions of what hip-hop should be. Which, in one way, is probably going to make his album feel very much like the first time. “You should never get comfortable,” he said. “I feel like, for me, I embrace everything.” What do you expect B.o.B’s next album to sound like? Katy Perry Had To Escape L.A. To Write ‘Teenage Dream’

‘Everybody climbing on top of each other to get to that next step on the ladder … sometimes L.A. can get exhausting,’ Perry says. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Sway Calloway Photo: Capitol Records Katy Perry decided to embrace her inner teenage girl when she sat down to write the title track from her forthcoming Teenage Dream album, out Tuesday. And she felt the only place she could get in touch with those warm, fuzzy feelings was her hometown of Santa Barbara, California. The song, which she co-wrote with and was produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Benny Blanco, recalls a simpler time when love felt like the first time. “Well, going to Santa Barbara, which isn’t very far from L.A., it was just like it brought me back home and it took me out of this fast-paced L.A.,” she told MTV News. “Everybody climbing on top of each other to get to that next step on the ladder … sometimes L.A. can get exhausting.” In fact, it was that song that dictated how the entire album would play out. “I wanted to call it Teenage Dream because, really, there’s a song on the record … I wrote that song in Santa Barbara and it was a really pure moment for me because that’s where I’m from. And it was where I started my creative juices, and it kind of exudes this euphoric feeling like everyone remembers what their teenage dreams were,” she said. “All the girls that were on your poster walls … and I want to continue to be one of those … teenage wet dreams.” The track, however, wasn’t all that easy to get right. “I’m in the studio fighting with them to change the melody, or I’m fighting for the best lyric at all times,” she told Billboard earlier this year. “I think we rewrote ‘Teenage Dream’ five times for 10 days straight. On the last day, I was so happy to finally get somewhere that we all agreed on.” Perry said that there is a bottom line to the euphoria of the track. “That song is kind of like feeling that way when you were a teenager: really emotional, really invested. … It’s intense being in love and being a teenager. That’s what ‘Teenage Dream’ is about.” Can you hear Katy’s teenage angst in the song? Let us know in the comments! Related Videos Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream Sneak Preview
