Lil Wayne Feels "Unwelcome, Unwanted" By Oklahoma City Thunder After Ticket "Snub"

After the Oklahoma City Thunder denied Lil Wayne entry to Game 3 of the NBA’s Western Conference Finals the other night, the rapper was left out in the cold. And reeling emotionally. Despite the seemingly fair and straightforward reason for his denial – he had no ticket – he says he feels “unwelcome and unwanted.” The rapper said two Thunder players – Kevin Durant and James Harden – reached out to offer him tickets to last night’s Game 4, but “that’s not the point.” ‘That’s the players stepping up but of course the players aren’t white,” Weezy lamented . “I don’t want to be sitting there next to a (person) that’s like ‘I don’t want this (guy) sitting next to me.’ (Forget) you … I’m in Forbes ,” he laughed. Lil Wayne Tweeted on Thursday night that he had been ”denied by the team to be in their arena.” The team responded by saying the game was sold out. But the Grammy-winner described a more complicated scenario later. He said he typically procures tickets for such games ”from this guy named Mike” who had requested special security, parking and entrance for LW. According to Mike, whoever the heck that is, the team responded that they would only sell the courtside seats he requested for Mike’s personal use. In other words, no Lil Wayne. Allegedly. Anyone actually believe that? In any case, Lil Wayne says he feels welcome at other arenas, including Miami, and likes being able to energize players – many of whom are fans of his music. But in Oklahoma City, he said that while ”the players want me there and I respect that, I don’t want to feel – I’m going to still feel unwanted. Unwelcome.” Thunder star Kevin Durant is determined to change that, saying: ”We’d have loved to have him here in Oklahoma City. We’d have welcomed him with open arms. Hopefully, next time he can come and enjoy a game.” ”It was just a misunderstanding. We were sold out of tickets, I heard, and we didn’t come through,” Durant said. ”He knows a few of us on the team.” “We offered him tickets to tonight but he had to do something. He had something to do, but I’m sure if his schedule was free, he would have came tonight.” “We’re still inviting him to games – if not this year, next year.” The rapper says that while his manager is encouraging a boycott of the city, ”I never say never.” The door is open, Weezy. Just call a few days ahead. [Photo: WENN.com]

Happy Birthday, Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe would have been 86 today. The actress and icon died of a drug overdose under still-debated-to-this-day circumstances a half century ago. Her name alone conjures up memories of beauty and tragedy. Marilyn . So talented, so troubled and so profoundly sexual to all those who remember her. Future generations will know her no differently. The enigmatic star, underrated as an actress, stole every scene she was in, from her bit part in All About Eve to her Oscar-worthy role in Some Like It Hot . In her personal life, Monroe made headlines whether she was singing “Happy Birthday” to the president, getting married or showing up late to the set. It’s no wonder Marilyn fascinates, inspires (see Lindsay Lohan Playboy photos , or the below pic Tweeted by Lady Gaga today) and mesmerizes to this day. It’s also no wonder that the late Monroe became the focal point of the film My Week With Marilyn or NBC’s new Broadway-themed series Smash . Marilyn’s career, and life, was pure theater.

Sister Wives Cast: Cleared in Bigamy Investigation!

After a long investigation, bigamy charges will not be filed against Kody Brown and his four spouses, who gained prominence last year on TLC’s show Sister Wives . The Utah County Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that it will not pursue a criminal case against the Browns, based on the office’s interpretation of state law. Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Buhman said that his office has adopted a formal policy not to prosecute the practice of bigamy unless it occurs in conjunction with another crime or if parties to the marriage or relationship is under 18. “The purpose of this policy is to prevent the future prosecution in Utah County of bigamist marriages entered into for religious reasons,” Buhman wrote. “The criminal case against the Browns is now closed, and no charges will be filed against them for bigamy,” unless new evidence is discovered, he said. Kody Brown and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn, issued a statement Thursday, saying they are “delighted by the news that the prosecutors have formally declared that the investigation of our family is at an end.” “We have spent years under investigation and ultimately had to move from the state of Utah to protect our family and particularly our children,” they said. “The decision to create the new policy in light of our lawsuit is wonderful news for not just ourselves but the many thousands of plural families in Utah.” Attorneys for the Browns aren’t dropping their challenge to the law. The Browns sued Utah last year, and attorney Jonathan Turley said that will continue. “While I am pleased that the prosecutors are promising to leave this family alone, the decision will not end our challenge to the state law,” Turley wrote. Attorneys for the Browns filed an 80-page motion and Thursday “challenging the anti-bigamy law on seven distinct constitutional and statutory grounds.” In February, a federal judge ruled there was sufficient evidence to allow the Browns to pursue a lawsuit contesting the constitutionality of Utah’s bigamy law. Should the Sister Wives cast have been prosecuted?

Lil Wayne "Denied Entry" to Oklahoma City Thunder Game Due to "Lack of Ticket"

Memo to Lil Wayne: You need “tickets” to get into an “event.” If the tickets are sold out, then you usually can’t go. Sometimes there are exceptions, but usually not for a game that has already been sold out for weeks, and generally not for seats better than 99.9 percent of the people who bought them already. Lil Wayne learned this the hard way last night. Weezy felt like going to Thursday’s NBA playoff tilt between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the visiting San Antonio Spurs. The Thunder, with no seats to spare (least of all any courtside seats, which he insisted on sitting in), politely declined. Thunder spokesman Dan Mahoney says Lil Wayne’s reps did contact the team requesting tickets, but insisted he sit on the front row, and no seats were available. Oklahoma City sold out every game during the regular season and playoffs this year. Mahoney says: “We’d love to have him, but like anyone else, he needs a ticket.” Makes sense to us. But apparently not LW, who Tweeted this: That’s right, denied by the team, as if they were making some kind of statement. What a douche. Also, no way he was rooting for the Spurs last night. None.

Pusha T Slams Drake in "Exodus 23:1", Lil Wayne Responds in Intense Rap Beef

A new Pusha T song, “Exodus 23:1,” is the cause of a budding hip hop feud between the artist and Lil Wayne’s Young Money crew, including Drake. In the song, Pusha T does not name either Drake or his YM boss Weezy, but it’s apparently obvious to peeps who listen to this stuff what he’s referring to. As a result, Wayne fired back at Pusha T and his supporters via Twitter: “Fuk pusha t and anybody that love em,” he wrote on the social media site. On “Exodus 23:1,” Pusha raps: “Contract all fucked up / I guess that means you all f–ked up / You signed to one n—-, that’s signed to another n—-, that’s signed to three n—-s.” “Now that’s bad luck / Damn that sh-t even the odds now / You better off selling this hard now / You call it living out your dreams / You can’t fly without your wings.” What that means, we have no f–king idea, but it sounds hardcore, based on all the profanity, and Lil Wayne is clearly far from pleased about it. Stay tuned. More angry Tweets are sure to come. [Photos: WENN.com]

Where’d Our Childhoods Go? A Gallery Of All Our 90s R&B Stars That Fell Off…Super Hard

90s R&B Stars Whose Careers Fell Off Didn’t we love the 90s? It was full of awesome clothes, dope TV shows and the best music. Unfortunately, our favorite music stars haven’t stood the test of time. It seems like all of the best R&B stars from the 90s should have just gone away and chilled right around the year 2000. Sadly, they’ve stuck around. And they’ve done nothing but embarrass themselves since. Sigh…how the mighty have fallen.
