Lindsay Lohan on Miley, SNL: So Disappointed!

Lindsay Lohan has become something of a joke of late. This is so obvious that you’d think the troubled star would know how to take one, but this is Lindsay Lohan we’re talking about. Logic does not apply. Whether she’s suing E*Trade or going off on Glee, LiLo and her camp indignantly bristle at any comedic moment at the walking punchline’s expense. Latest case in point: Miley Cyrus on SNL ! Miley Cyrus Monologue After the above monologue, Lohan fired off an email to Saturday Night Live honcho Lorne Michaels, expressing her disappointment that he allowed it. Lindsay considered Lorne “a mentor and a father figure” and felt betrayed that he’d actually let Miley Cyrus take shots at her. Get a grip, you tool . Miles’ monologue jingle in question was harmless and self-deprecating: “I never stole a necklace or got a DUI .. never cheated on wife like that golfer guy,” she sang in her ode to Lohan, Tiger Woods and herself, “So what if you can see a little boob from the side … I’m sorry if I’m not perfect.” So chill out, Lindsay. There are plenty of side boob jokes to go around.

She then went on to impersonate Fergie and Justin Bieber , saying of the latter after the show: “It’s all about the crotch grabbing.” Did you watch Miley as SNL host? What did you think? Below, we’ve compiled a handful of skits from the evening. Watch and enjoy! SNL Mocks Charlie Sheen Miley Cyrus Monologue Miley Cyrus on SNL: As Justin Bieber Disney Acting School Skit

Jewelry Store Cashes in On Surveillance Tape, Possibly Blows Case Against Lindsay Lohan

The store allegedly victimized in the great Lindsay Lohan jewelry store heist may have just blown its credibility and the prosecutors’ case against LiLo. Kamofie & Co. sold the surveillance tape – which Lindsay says backs up her excuse that this was a misunderstanding – to an unknown media outlet. This is causing fits for the lawyers in the case, particularly the prosecutor. NO CREDIBILITY : Both sides may suffer from that problem . Lindsay’s defense is that the necklace was a loan. The jeweler begged to differ. Law enforcement arrested and charged Lohan with felony grand theft. It boils down to the troubled star’s intent, and her credibility will be called into question. After the sale of the surveillance footage, so will Kamofle’s. Convincing a jury that a celebrity misled and victimized you may be a tough sell after they opted to cash in on the notoriety by hawking the footage. No word on how this will affect plea bargain negotiations. While her lawyer tries to work a light sentence, Lindsay refuses to do time , but faces an uncertain fate given her longstanding probation. Stay tuned.

Mariah Carey Says She Was ‘Naive’ About Performing For Gadhafi

‘I feel horrible and embarrassed to have participated in this mess,’ singer says about 2009 concert funded by the Libyan dictator. By Aly Semigran Mariah Carey (file) Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images Mariah Carey wants to make things right after accepting $1 million to perform for family members of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi at a 2009 New Year’s party in St. Barts. The singer released a statement regarding the performance that reads: “I was naive and unaware of who I was booked to perform for. I feel horrible and embarrassed to have participated in this mess. Going forward, this is a lesson for all artists to learn from. We need to be more aware and take more responsibility regardless of who books our shows. Ultimately we as artists are to be held accountable.” Carey, 41, who is expecting twins with husband Nick Cannon , told Showbiz411.com that after the birth of her children, she plans to record a new song called “Save the Day,” the proceeds of which will go entirely to human rights charities. But Carey isn’t the only artist with regrets about performing for and receiving money from the Gaddafi family. In February, Nelly Furtado tweeted, “In 2007, I received 1million$ from the Qaddafi clan to perform a 45 min. show for guests at a hotel in Italy. I am going to donate the $.” Following suit, on Wednesday, Beyonc

Lindsay Lohan: Ready to Talk Plea Bargain?

Lindsay Lohan has her own version of the prisoner’s dilemma going on. If she fights the felony grand theft charge against her tooth and nail, she could, at least in theory, pull a legal rabbit out of her hat and beat the rap. But, not only does she risk losing in court, a pissed-off judge could also revoke her probation and remand her into custody for the length of the trial. We can do this the easy way or the hard way … Therefore, a plea bargain could be her best shot at doing a relatively short stint behind bars, as the D.A. could go (relatively) easy if she cooperates. But will she? Lindsay’s lawyer and the prosecutor have been trying to hammer out a plea bargain but have hit a wall, so the judge will try to break the impasse. Shawn Holley and Dannette Meyers both want to end Lindsay’s felony grand theft case with a plea, but Meyers won’t budge on six months in jail. Holley’s plan is to ask the judge what sentence he’d hand down if LiLo pleads guilty or no contest, hoping that he’ll agree to closer to three months. Both Meyers and Holley believe Lindsay will only do 20 percent of the actual sentence because of overcrowding, which is what happens typically. So, if Judge Keith Schwartz gave Lindsay three months, she’d only serve 18 days, which really isn’t that bad for a potential felony necklace heist. Schwartz is known as a settlement judge, so it’s likely a deal can be struck if Lindsay accepts she’s going to do some jail time, no matter what. For a recap of why she’s in this mess, and why she’s unlikely to get out of it scot free, THG broke down the situation last week in The Pulse … The Pulse: Will Lindsay Lohan Go to Jail?

Lindsay Lohan to Extra: What About Me?!?

Lindsay Lohan is almost lost in the shuffle these days. With Charlie Sheen stealing all of her tabloid thunder, the train wreck and alleged jewel thief can’t even get any major PR for an interview on Extra. The troubled starlet admitted to the celebrity news program that she’s got a long way to go before reclaiming a spot atop the Hollywood food chain. Maybe Charlie can invite her to shack up with himself and the goddesses. Rachel Oberlin and Natalie Kenly certainly seem like welcoming people. Lindsay Lohan en route to court recently. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] Currently up on a felony theft charge in connection with a $2,500 necklace she’s accused of lifting, Lindsay says she feels “great” and “happy” these days. “There’s always bumps that we have in the road,” she said. “As long as I’m focusing [on my recovery], I’m doing good and that’s most important for me.” Not at grammar, but oh well. Lindsay, whose excuse in the jewel heist case may be corroborated by surveillance footage, just wants to get back to work. Asked if there’s any stars she’d like to work with, Lohan said she’s in no place to seek privileges like that right now, but these things will reappear in time. “I have to build myself back up and I get that,” she said, surprisingly maturely. The full interview airs tonight … unless Sheen does something crazier.
