A report surfaced on TMZ this morning saying that paramedics were called after Lindsay Lohan was found “unresponsive” in her hotel suite, prompting rumors that the troubled star had checked out for good. Thankfully, it turns out that Lindsay isn’t dead- just a very heavy sleeper. But she must have sustained some sort of head injury while she was out, because now apparently she’s having second thoughts about being in that movie with the porn star and the threesomes (aka The Canyons ). A “source” tells the New York Post that although Lindsay initially agreed to be in the Bret Easton Ellis-penned saga of “ youth, glamour, sex and Los Angeles ,” she’s hesitating to sign on the dotted line because she “ would be required to do full frontal nudity, and the sex scenes are very, very graphic .” Yeah, but what about that nudie mag ( you know the one ) she posed for a few months ago? “ Yes, Lindsay has posed nude for Playboy, but doing it in a movie is completely different ,” says the “source”. “ Lindsay needs to make sure that she is comfortable with it, and that this is something she can handle as an artist. It’s expected that Lindsay will sign the contract in the next two weeks, as filming begins at the beginning of July. Lindsay has admired Bret’s work for a very long time, and one of her favorite movies is ‘ Less Than Zero .’ ” So…don’t think about it too much, Lindsay. Just do it. Just a week after crashing her car into a truck between filming on her would-be comeback flick Liz & Dick , Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been hospitalized after being found unconscious in her hotel, though her condition is unknown. “ABC7 has learned Lindsay Lohan was taken to hospital after being found unconscious at Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey,” ABC7 reported via Twitter. A follow-up Tweet from the outlet added : “Attorney tells ABC7 that ‘She’s fine.'” Developing… UPDATE: The New York Post has more: “Lohan not hospitalized but paramedics called after entourage couldn’t rouse her from sleep,” the paper Tweeted . And yet more from E! Online , who cites sources who say exhaustion and dehydration were to blame for the incident this morning: “Lindsay has been working a grueling schedule for the last couple of days,” Lindsay’s rep Steve Honig told E! News. “Last night she worked from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. She was exhausted and went back to her room to sleep. Producers were apparently concerned and called the fire department and paramedics found her sleeping but determined that she was fine, just extremely exhausted and slightly dehydrated. “She is on her way home now to rest and will be back on set later today.” He added that no drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident. And TMZ , chiming in with the details: We’re told Lindsay wasn’t feeling well after complaining of exhaustion, she called someone from the Liz and Dick production team early this morning, and the team sent a private doctor to check on her. Before arriving, the doctor called the hotel and asked someone to check on Lindsay. Someone from the hotel went to her door, “checked on her” and determined she was “unresponsive.” The hotel then called 911. Lindsay’s rep says it was someone from the production team who called 911. Paramedics responded, and determined nothing was wrong with Lindsay. They left without transporting her to the hospital. Well, good. Sounds like a case of overblown media reportage, but the lesson here is this: If people around Lohan are so concerned that heavy sleep might be construed as unresponsiveness — and if Lohan’s working herself to the point of exhaustion, given her history — maybe the false alarm fuss should be taken as a warning, to Lohan, her team, and to those watching along at home. Nobody wants to see Lohan go out like Marilyn.

Jacob Anthonisen, an art dealer and friend of Lindsay Lohan and other stars, is currently being sought in a murder investigation, according to Radar Online . The 37-year-old, who runs with the likes of Emile Hirsch, Mickey Avalon, Taryn Manning and Lady Victoria Hervey, has been named a person of interest . On June 9, a decomposing body was found in the back of a Cadillac Escalade registered to Jacob Anthonisen in a parking lot in West Hollywood, Calif. The remains were identified on Thursday as Steven John Simmons – Jacob’s stepbrother – and the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest . “He has been involved with some very dangerous people in the past, and we are worried that they have something to do with this,” a close pal said. Anthonisen, who owns The Peanut Gallery in L.A., has been missing since May 31. “At this point, everyone is just hoping he is alive and well,” a pal said. “But it’s no secret that he served time in prison for drugs, so it’s something to consider here. The circumstances lead us to believe drugs played a role.” Anthonisen has something of a troubled past, having served two years in prison from 2003-2005. He was convinced on drug-related charges in Arizona.

We want her to do it. I would just say we have not worked out the specifics of her deal yet,” Braxton Pope told MTV News. “Her participation in ‘Liz & Dick,’ I would just say we’re very aware of. We told her in the first meeting that we would be in touch with the producer of ‘Liz & Dick’ to see how that shoot was going and to get intel. And she gave us all that information, so she was very comfortable with us reaching out and getting that information, and that was how we decided to proceed.” With production expected to begin early next month, Pope is aware of the outside perceptions of Lohan and he and his team — consisting of screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis and director Paul Schrader — are more focused on her ability as an actor than her tabloid drama. “What’s kind of lost in a lot of the Lindsay discussions is the fact that Lindsay is a very talented actress,” he said. “She’s very charismatic and she has a lot of acting skills. So her lifestyle and some of the things that she’s gone through have tended to kind of overwhelm the fact, but Lindsay has kind of real talent. Currently starring as Elizabeth Taylor in Liz & Dick , Lohan has also been booked for The Canyons, a contemporary thriller, according to E! The film will document “five twentysomethings’ quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood” and is written by Bret Easton Ellis. It was Ellis himself who first broke news of Lindsay Lohan’s casting on Twitter, along with that of her leading man … porn star James Deen. “James Deen and Lindsay Lohan have been cast in The Canyons,” he wrote in the first of a series of tweets retweeted by Lindsay herself. “And I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in The Canyons by BEE.” “Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it.” That’s what the guy driving the 18-wheeler said. Too soon? Anyway, her camp says that while she got the role and agreed to it, her lawyers are still working out the details, so it’s not quite a done deal.
