But a devoted Vonn avoided the awkward encounter by reportedly sitting in Tiger’s car for an hour while he watched Samantha, five, play ball. The downhill skiing champion most likely stayed in Woods’s black Mercedes rather than risk an encounter with Woods’ ex-wife Elin, who was also watching the event – though Woods and Elin sat at opposites ends of the stadium. Vonn, who is recuperating from a bad fall while competing, was seen sweeping back her blonde hair in the front passenger seat as Woods’s car pulled away after the game. Her crutches were on the back seat. She has been staying on 37-year-old Woods’s luxury yacht, Privacy, near his home in Jupiter, Florida. Thanks to yesterday’s surprising Facebook “coming out” of sorts, the gossip world now knows for certain that Lindsey Vonn is dating Tiger Woods . Awesome. He’s also made strides with Elin Nordegren of late. The former spouses both came together to cheer on their 5-year-old daughter Sam at her youth soccer game yesterday, according to reports. Lindsey, 28, stayed in the car at the Jupiter, Fla., venue as Tiger, 37, and Elin, 33, sat at opposite sides of the bleachers, trying not to attract attention. It’s the second time in a month they came together for a sporting event, however, and they’ve even been seen talking to and smiling at each other. Crazy, we know. After the events of 2009-10, it’s impressive. Time heals all wounds, we suppose, as do new romances. Elin is reportedly dating Chris Cline , though we don’t expect any Facebook confirmation of that. And they all lived happily ever after? We can only hope.

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren were back together Saturday … if only for their two young kids, and a local youth sports organization in Jupiter, Fla. The golf great arrived to the event first with his son and daughter, Charlie and Sam, then crossed paths with Elin Nordegren after she arrived an hour later. TMZ posted photos of the couple chatting together for over half an hour and appearing like they genuinely enjoyed each other’s company. Weird! The one-time couple then left together in Elin’s car. Tiger, whose 2009 Thanksgiving car crash exposed his cheating with Rachel Uchitel and countless others, hasn’t always been her favorite person. More like persona non grata. Not that they’re getting back together romantically, but you wouldn’t have even seen anything like this – a cordial day with the kids – a year or two ago. Time heals all wounds, or something. North Carolina representatives have introduced a bill that would “clarify” a state law to ban nipple slips and otherwise prohibit the baring of breasts. Women worried about showing too much of their “private area” should use pasties or even duct tape from now on… or they could be breaking the law. Basically, do not emulate any Kate Upton photos like this one. The proposed legislation, House Bill 34, would make it a Class H felony to expose “external organs of sex and of excretion, including the nipple.” The law also extends to “any portion of the areola.” Good to know. Depending on the intent, women could face up to six months in prison for an errant areola, with “more mundane” exposure resulting in a 30-day sentence. There is an exemption for breastfeeding. Rep. Rayne Brown (R), who co-sponsored the bill , tells WRAL in Raleigh that while it may seem frivolous or even funny, it can also be a serious issue. “There are communities across this state, local governments across this state, and local law enforcement for whom this issue is really not a laughing matter.” Brown said that she was prompted, in part, by Asheville’s second annual topless protest and women’s rally this past August. What went down there? According to the Asheville Citizen-Times , the event last year drew around a dozen women, who took off their shirts to “promote women’s equality.” WRAL writes that Rep. Sarah Stevens (R), who chairs the North Carolina House Judiciary Subcommittee C, downplayed the impact the bill might have. Opponents, such as Rep. Annie Mobley (D) worried that the law was sexist and that it might penalize women for wearing “questionable fashions.”

Lindsey Vonn took a dramatic spill while competing in the Alpine Ski World Championships on the slopes in Austria and had to be airlifted to a hospital. The fall left the Olympic champion and girlfriend of Tiger Woods with two torn ACL and MCL ligaments and a broken bone … absolutely brutal. On Sunday, Vonn had undergone an operation, which she proclaimed a success on Facebook; she’s home in Vail, Colorado, beginning her recovery. The Lindsey Vonn leg photo, posted Friday, depicts her disfigured, yellowish right leg covered in purple bruises and bandages after the surgery. Her left leg, which was not seriously injured, also looks banged up. Lindsey Vonn ‘s caption: “My knee looks… um… not very good…” Proving that she has not lost her sense of humor along with her ligaments, Vonn added a pair of hashtags, #longskirtsthissummer and #ugh. She also hasn’t lost her work ethic. The 28-year-old later put up another, less graphic image, promoting her sponsor, energy drink Red Bull. According to Media Matters: National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent said that President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder are “promoting” racism and that the Obama administration has a “racist agenda.” In the past week Nugent has been praised by media figures on CNN and Fox News. Nugent made his comments during an interview on WorldNetDaily’s radio program ; he recently joined the birther website as a columnist… NUGENT: Again it really is a nation divided. And it’s never been more divided. The racism that President Obama and Eric “Gunrunning” Holder promote is just heartbreaking and it’s tragic and those of us that know better have got to constantly expose their ruse and their scams and their racist agenda. Just a week ago, CNN reporter Deb Feyerick praised Nugent as having a “deep connection with the facts” in the gun policy debate. In a follow-up segment on CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront, Feyerick and host Erin Burnett treated Nugent’s conspiracy theory that Obama will confiscate firearms as a serious policy debate. On Tuesday, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly applauded Nugent’s opposition to gun violence prevention proposals, stating, “Now that kind of straight talk is what the Republican Party needs.” This is not the first time Nugent has addressed the topic of race for WND. On January 9, the conspiracy clearinghouse published an interview with Nugent where he claimed, “there will come a time when the gun owners of America, the law-abiding gun owners of America, will be the Rosa Parks and we will sit down on the front seat of the bus, case closed.” Nugent’s comparison between gun owners and Rosa Parks was roundly denounced by civil rights leaders. Nugent, an ardent defender of the Confederate flag, has a lengthy history of making racially charged comments. In a July 6 column for The Washington Times, Nugent wrote, “I’m beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War.” He has also claimed that real Americans are “working hard, playing hard, white motherfucking shit kickers who are independent” and that African-American rappers appearing on MTV are “big uneducated greasy black mongrels.” SMH.
