Remember when Kim Kardashian “broke the internet” with her ass-centric Paper magazine cover? Well, that iconic pic inspired more than just a Wreck-It Ralph sequel. Paper has been trying to recreate that web-shattering success ever since, but this year they’re relying less on nudity, and more on confessional interviews with the tabloid queens of yesteryear. First, Amanda Bynes opened up to the magazine revealing exactly what was going through her mind during the extended meltdown that brought an end to her acting career. Now, Lindsay Lohan is spilling the tea in hopes of receiving a similarly compassionate response from social media. There are two problems with that plan, of course: 1. Lindsay effed up so hard for so many years that it’s impossible to address all of her scandals in a single interview. 2. While Amanda was self-destructive, Lindsay often turns her destructive impulses outward , negatively impacting the lives of those who have the misfortune to cross her path: Lindsay Lohan Accuses Refugee Mother of Trafficking, Gets Punched in Face Remember when Lindsay got punched in the face while she was harassing a Middle Eastern family because she insanely assumed they had kidnapped their kids? Yeah, that’s some next-level bigoted paranoia, even by the standards of Trump Era America. So it’s a good thing that — even though Lindsay has a new reality show to promote — the folks at Paper decided to focus on that ugly incident in their Lindsay interview. We assume the interview basically started with, “So — what in the actual f–k was that?” At first, Linds, dodged the question, saying that she wouldn’t talk about it over the phone, but would tell her story face-to-face. Naturally, she totally failed made good on her promise: “There’s actresses, there’s several of them to my knowledge that don’t use Instagram or Twitter. But I feel like you sort of have to,” she said, by way of dodging the question. “It’s your way of controlling the narrative. I recently made the mistake of having my phone recording live video, and that I learned from,” Lindsay added. “But I think it’s also important because if you’re doing something and you want to give direct access to your fans, you can contact them and see their thoughts and get an opinion.” So after offering that lofty explanation over the phone, Linds flew into NYC from Mykonos like some coke-fueled Carmen SanDiego. She showed up to her Paper photoshoot on time (which her publicist hilariously told the reporter “to note”), but when the subject of her one-woman anti-human trafficking campaign came up, Lindsay was, unsurprisingly, “too tired” to talk. “I read the situation wrong,” she later said in an e-mailed statement. “I’ve learned from it. And that’s all I have to say.” Thanks for that insight, Linds. Anytime you get punched in the face and the whole world applauds, we think it’s safe to say you “read the situation wrong.” “I would love to know why I get constantly clobbered in the press,” Lindsay said in her interview. “I could do 99 things right and one thing wrong, but it’s that one thing that will be focused on.” Well, Lindsay, when the one thing you did wrong is harass an immigrant family for the crime of having accents, yeah — people are gonna focus on that. Asked about her hard-partying ways, the 32-year-old former actress stated that those days are behind her … for the most part. “I like to have fun, but that doesn’t mean I need to go out and drink and be crazy,” Lohan told the mag. “I have a good relationship with that. Michelle Obama is one of the few people who can relate to everything Meghan Markle is going through right now. Except for the part about being involved in a bitter, nasty, petty, vicious rivalry with her sister-in-law , we guess. Both Obama and Markle were thrust into the spotlight due to their relationships with high profile men, however. The former married a State Senator who became President of the United States… while the latter married a handsome party animal who has a mostly meaningless title, yet is very rich, popular and respected. In the new issue of Good Housekeeping, the ex-First Lady offers up a few words of wisdom for the Duchess of Sussex, saying in the pages of this magazine: “Like me, Meghan probably never dreamt that she’d have a life like this, and the pressure you feel – from yourself and from others – can sometimes feel like a lot.” We’re sure this is factual. So, what does Obama suggest? “My biggest piece of advice would be to take some time and don’t be in a hurry to do anything,” she says to/of Markle. It seems sort of like Meghan has already ignored this advice, though, right? She and Prince Harry will welcome a child less than a year after getting married, meaning they made said child together after just three months or so as husband and wife. No judgment of any kind here. We’re just saying: they definitely procreated in a hurry. Markle is similar to Obama in one way, however. Michelle is famous for saying “when they go low, we go high,” making it clear that she won’t ever engage with critics on their cruel levels. Meghan, meanwhile, simply won’t engaged with critics… at all, really. Which is basically the same thing. She has been under attack by her awful half-sister for many months now, yet has never uttered a negative word in public about Samantha Markle . Of late, attention has turned to an alleged feud with Kate Middleton , but Markle has remained mum in regard to this chatter as well. She’s mostly just gone around smiling and keeping herself cool, totally a Michelle Obama kind of move. Obama, of course, raised two daughters directly in the public eye. And Markle will be doing the same with her child once he or she is born. “I spent the first few months in the White House mainly worrying about my daughters, making sure they were off to a good start at school and making new friends before I launched into any more ambitious work,” Obama told Good Housekeeping “I think it’s okay – it’s good, even – to do that.” Kids come first, in other words. At almost all times. Obama also talked about the Duchess of Sussex’s power to make a difference, something Markle does know well, considering her many humanitarian initiatives over the years. Concludes Obama: “What I’d say is that there’s so much opportunity to do good with a platform like that. “And I think Meghan can [maximize] her impact for others, as well her own happiness, if she’s doing something that resonates with her personally.” In September of this year, Meghan helped release a cookbook that features recipes from women affected by the fatal Grenfell Tower fire. Then, in October, she delivered a speech about the importance of women’s rights in New Zealand. She’s on the right track in this department, that much seems certain. Jenelle Evans and David Eason are bad at keeping secrets and even worse at lying. It’s been just over two weeks since Kim Porter was found dead and just about a week since she was laid to rest. And now, for the first time, the late model’s oldest son has spoken out about the tragedy. Posting the above photo of himself and his mom, 27-year old Quincy Brown penned the following caption/tribute to Porter on Sunday night: You showed me how to simply live life and be happy no matter the circumstances. So that’s exactly what I’m doing. I miss you [and] love you so much, mommy. Pretty simple. Pretty straightfoward. Pretty powerful. Porter was discoverd inside her Los Angeles home back on November 15. We’re still awaiting the results of an autospy test to determine her cause of death, but multiple sources have confirmed that she was coming off a bout of pneumonia and was feeling ill the day before she died. Still, of course, many questions about what transpired remain. Porter was the mother of four kids, three of them with rapper and producing mogul Diddy. She and the global superstar were together at various points for 13 years, splitting for good in 2007, but remaining very close in the subsequent years as they transitioned to friends and parents. “For the last three days, I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much,” Diddy wrote on social media in his first post since Kim passed away. He added at the time: “Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. “WE WERE SOME OTHER S–T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.” Several days after writing these moving words, Diddy spoken many others out loud while eulogizing Porter at her funeral in Georgia . First, he talked about his three kids with Porter and Quincy, who he cared for like a father after Porter welcomed him due to a relationship with artist Al B. Sure. “I just want to say to my kids, Justin, Christian, D’Lila, Jessie, Chance and the other man in the house, Quincy: Your mother instilled in me this, and I pledge in front of everybody right now that I will always be there for you. “I will always take care of you.” Diddy also addressed Porter directly in his emotional speech, according to a number of onlookers. “Kim, we gonna miss you so much,” he said, adding: “But I ain’t gonna miss you too much because I’m not gonna let your voice inside of me stop talking. “I know you like to talk to me a lot once you get on those rants, and I just want you to know I’m gonna be listening.” Diddy went on to recognize the unusual connection he shared with Porter, concluding as follows: “As time went on, our relationship took so many different changes, from being boyfriend and girlfriend to being lovers to being best friends to being just straight-up homies, like somebody that you know you can count on. “And we just love y’all, we appreciate y’all, appreciate the family. It seems like nearly every day we hear something new and sad about the relationship between Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. And every day, it seems worse and worse. Even though Catelynn is pregnant, Tyler has asked for a separation. And although he told her that he has no intentions of being with anyone else during this separation … Well, it kind of sounds like he's changing his tune now. 1. Middle School Sweethearts Catelynn and Tyler have been together since seventh grade, when they were 12 years old. 2. Dang They’re 26 years old now — that means that they’ve been together for over half their lives, since they were children. 3. Makes Sense So yeah, they’re having some big problems right now … it’s definitely understandable, considering most couples who dated in middle school only dated for about three days. 4. The Problem(s) Things have probably never been picture perfect between them, but they started getting serious at the beginning of this year, when Catelynn returned home from a six-week stay at a treatment center in Arizona and then turned around and went back for another six weeks. 5. Alternatives? He begged her to try therapy while still living at home, or even finding a treatment center within driving distance, but she refused, even when their daughter, Nova, was clearly still having a hard dealing with her first trip to rehab. 6. Ouch After she left, Tyler told his sister that she was starting to remind him of their father, Butch, who was absent for most of his childhood. After letting Luke Cage go along with Iron Fist , the streaming service announced late Thursday that they were cancelling Daredevil , the longest running Marvel series on Netflix. The show had just completed its third season. “Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix,” the company said, per Deadline . “We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note. We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.” With Daredevil ‘s cancellation, there is only two shows under the Marvel umbrella on Netflix: The Punisher and Jessica Jones .
