It is part of a brilliant op-ed piece that illustrates, with humor, how harmful and dangerous the action is to people of color. From the Times : In this satirical infomercial, the comedian and actress Niecy Nash plays the inventor of a new hotline, 1-844-WYT-FEAR. The video advertises a phone service for white people to call when they can’t cope with black people living their lives near them. The hotline is up and running, so give it a ring and spread the word. (Seriously.) The phenomenon of white people harassing African-Americans going about their day is nothing new, but with the ubiquity of smartphones and social media, everyone can now see how these injustices are played out and lead to anxiety for and material harm to people of color. We learned that although tax rates are lower, certain deductions have been taken away. The one thing I know about Disney Kids is that they all statistically grow up to be real exhibitionist sluts getting naked or as naked as they can to be relevant, not too racy, and hireable…you know all that hard work growing up in the Disney school of entertainment has made them professionals that other people want to work with…. Back in June, Josiah Duggar married Lauren Swanson got married in the sort of massive, lavish ceremony his family has become known for. Basically, Duggar kids get hitched in the Ozark equivalent of royal weddings, except instead of celebrities and foreign leaders there are dozens of bait shop proprietors in attendance. Of course, Duggar weddings have an added layer of significance due to the family’s old-fashioned views on premarital sex. When Duggar couples are pronounced man and wife and the groom kisses the bride — that’s generally the first kiss either of them has experienced. And it takes place in front of millions of TV viewers and a thousand guests, many of whom spent their morning digging for nightcrawlers. Prior to tying the knot, couples like Josiah and Lauren aren’t even permitted to spend time alone together. This is a result of the ultra-strict Duggar courtship rules that prohibit everything from hand-holding to “front hugs.” (“Side hugs” are still permitted, as there’s little chance of accidental clothed genital contact. They’ve really put a lot of thought into this stuff.) Duggar kids aren’t even allowed to use social media prior to courtship. In that sense, Josiah stands out as an anomaly. Unlike his siblings, Josiah was involved in a courtship prior to meeting his wife, and thus, the man knows his way around Instagram. And we suppose it shows when he posts epically panoramic vacation photos like the ones above. Unfortunately, in addition to showing off some breathtaking scenery, Josiah is also confirming the theory that Duggar date nights are lame AF. According to Josiah’s latest posts, he and Lauren are currently on vacation in North Carolina with her family. That’s all well and good, but it’s led many to wonder if these two ever spend any time alone together. They went from chaperoned dates to vacations with her family with nothing but a short honeymoon in between. As a Duggars, Josiah and Lauren are no doubt feeling the pressure to begin breeding. But it’s hard to see how that’s gonna happen when they’re constantly surrounded by family members. Maybe Josiah and Lauren need to sit down and explain to their parents how this whole process works. 90 Day Fiance had its Season 6 premiere, and the drama is already heating up. Though fans have already met the Season 6 couples , we learned a lot more on the premiere. Including which fiancee arrived in the US and almost immediately found another woman’s underwear in her fiance’s home. Let’s start with Jonathan and Fernanda. These two are both adults, but their 12-year age difference is raising some eyebrows, especially since Fernanda is 19. As we saw on the 90 Day Fiance premiere, it’s not just fans who are thinking about how these two are in different stages of their lives. Jonathan’s status as a bachelor in is 30s is clearly making Fernanda a little insecure. Her finding a pair of panties in his apartment on her first day didn’t help matters. They belonged to his ex, which he tried to explain, but it was not a good start for these two. Kalani and Asuelu are one of those couples that you find yourself really rooting for. They both seem sweet and neither appear to be monsters. Also, the way that Kalani talks to the camera is charming. Fans may like these two, but Kalani’s family is not on board. it turns out that her devoutly Mormon family is not happy that she lost he virginity to and had a baby with a man who is not yet her husband. “My family was not supportive of me being with Asuelu,” Kalani revealed. “They thought he was just taking advantage of me.” She revealed that her father, who is Samoan himself, had hoped that she would end up with a very different man. There are deeper issues at play, here. Ashley and Jay are another couple with an age gap, but that’s taking a back seat. Because Jay’s horndog personality is not subtle. He isn’t shy about telling the camera about how much he loves sex. Ashley’s loved ones are worried that he cheated on her while they were in a long distance relationship. “Maybe I don’t care what Jay does when I’m not over there,” Ashley claims. She says: “What he does in Jamaica when I’m not there is none of my business.” Ashley does at least admit: “I’m hoping that he changed his ways.” Sex positivity is great — but cheating? That’s less cool. She’s hoping that he becomes devoted to her in America. Colt and Larissa aren’t on the same page just yet. There was a rpoblem with Larissa’s visa, so she had to miss her flight. She asked Colt to go ahead and book the next one, but he wanted to wait to book a flght after her visa issues were worked out. Larissa didn’t understand that, and it soon became clear that she assumes that, as an American, he is wealthier than he is. “She’s in for an extremely rude awakening,” Colt admits. And this is all before she’s met this momma’s boy’s mother — or their many cats. Eric and Leida are really flipping the script. Though Eric is an older American and Leida is younger, she enjoyed a life of privilege in Indonesia. Eric, though a 40-year-old veteran, seems to be making just enough to get by. In fact, as we learned on the premiere, he had been splitting rent with his 19-year-old daughter. To prepare for the arrival of Leida and her 5-year-old son, he asked his daughter to move out, which obviously created some friction. He and Leida both expressed some anxieties about making this work. Despite their misgivings, smart money says that Eric and Leida are likely to make it to the altar if she’s already come this far.
