The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 Episode 6 Recap: Rumors

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 Episode 6 confirmed what we all expected: Shannon Beador’s relationship with her delusional ex-husband, David is in tatters.  The 53-year-old revealed that David thought she was doing everything in her power to try and turn the tide against him in the courtroom.  Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 Episode 6 Online “David’s shown quite a bit of anger towards me,” she said after saying that David thought she was using the abusive texts he sent her as leverage.  The evidence is evidence. However, it may appear, so we can’t even begin to imagine why the loser thought Shannon would not use them.  On the way to court during Monday’s episode, Shannon was so scared to face him that she ran a red light while on the phone to her mother about what was going to happen at the court.  Shannon has been open up about David’s abuse and kept all of the details in the court filings, but this further scared her.  “I feel like I’m walking into the unknown,” she said after saying she worried about how it “might set him off.” She then met up with her lawyer Ben and continued to worry about what could happen.  “I don’t know what David I’m going to see today,” she said.  “My wish is that a weight is going to be lifted off my shoulders after this court date. My reality is telling me, nah, it’s just gonna make things worse,” she admitted, adding: “He’s not going to be happy no matter what decision is made.” Things went Shannon’s way in the courtroom, and she called Tamra Judge to let her know her thoughts on it after admitting she was “shaken up, emotional, and just very uneasy.” That would certainly make one think it did not go her way, but it really did.  “I don’t even have any words for it,’ she said through tears. “‘The judge ordered him to pay me a lot of money every month — $30,000-a-month.” However, we quickly learned why Shannon was so shaken up.  “We went out in the hallway, and David came around the corner where I was talking to Ben, and he just went off on Ben and me.” “And Ben had to scream for the bailiff. He was so livid. He came around the corner and said, ‘You f*****g happy Ben?’” It certainly sounds like an awkward encounter, to say the least, but Shannon opted to throw her devious ex a bone.  She said that she agreed to lower the $30,000 pay down to $22,500 “because that’s what I need at this point.” “So we went back into the courtroom, and he was shaking with anger. If anything, I was fair in cutting down the order. I just want him out of my life,” she continued.  It’s great that Shannon has her friends at her side, but we learned early into the episode that the texts could be the thing that saved her case.  She said they were so bad “I guarantee you I will never have to talk to him again.” “‘F**k you, you f*****g b***h,” and “You f*****g disgust me, you fat a**. Get off your f*****g lazy fat a**. Did you get out of bed today, you f***ing b***h'” she said of the torrent of abuse.  “That’s what I get, all the time,” she said with a sad look on her face.  “Believe it or not, I had David over to my house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. But he says that he lived through 17 years of hell with me,” said Shannon in a confessional.  “So, I’m sorry you feel that way. Thank God you’re out.” While things with her and David were over, the ladies wanted her to return to the dating scene.  “I think Shannon definitely needs a kick in the a** to start dating. She needs to get laid,” said Tamra who seemed more excited by the prospect of it than Shannon herself.  “I think that what I’ve come to realize is that what I’m looking for is a partnership,” Shannon told matchmaking experts. “I’m not going to go and meet a guy at a bar and then make out with him at that night. I need to know somebody before we’re going to touch lips.” “She loves sex — she does,” Tamra instead insisted. “She needs a guy who can get it on.” ‘I don’t know if I’m ready to date,’ Shannon countered. ‘The whole thought panics me. Just panics me.” Meanwhile, newcomers Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter were still bringing all the drama thanks to Gina’s husband yelling at Emily for being a little too loud at a party.  “No guy should be yelling at any woman,” insisted Tamra. “He’s having a party in his house. Did he expect everyone to be quiet?” Kelly Dodd had a whole different outlook on the matter.  “No wonder why he was upset — everyone was drinking, having fun, gambling… and they don’t swear. S**t. I’m going straight to hell.” We’re happy to report that Kelly was having a joke with Vicki Gunvalson.  Okay then.  What did you think of the latest episode? Serena Williams’ Postpartum Issues Are A Lesson In Healing After Giving Birth

Source: Bryan Bedder / Getty Celebrity women like Serena Williams, Beyonce, Chrissy Teigen, Cardi B and Tia Mowry are finally keeping it real about how hard pregnancy and postpartum life can be for a lot of women. Imagine being in control of yourself your entire life then suddenly, nothing is how you had expected. You don’t feel like yourself or think like yourself. It’s like an out-of-body experience. Add the fact that you are responsible for another little life, and that is a recipe for a breakdown. Why didn’t our mother’s warn us? I identify with Serena Williams the most because she has always been a friend in my head plus, I’m also an athlete. I ran track as a child, grew up dancing with a performance troupe, danced all the way to adulthood, and also picked up pole dancing and aerial hoop habits. It’s obviously not tennis and I’m definitely no Serena Williams, but I was fit and dexterous before pregnancy, and I thought bouncing back would be a breeze because I had a smooth pregnancy through which I still worked out without complications. I seriously thought I’d be able to get back to my regularly scheduled program in terms of work, my body bouncing back, and balancing the new life I was responsible for with everything else in 6-weeks post birth because I was good at planning and executing my goals. It worked with my career and it worked with my hobbies, so why not my life as a working mom? That was extremely naive, but in a world where overachieving is the thing to do to the point where we sometimes get unrealistic and don’t allow room for going with the flow, I just didn’t create space in my brain for anything less than optimal results right away. My ego was dealt a devastating blow after attempting to work out following my 6-week doctor clearance was struggle city. My abdomen still felt like jelly and my joints were freakishly unstable. How could I not do my usual HIIT workout? It was all I knew. What about muscle memory? How could my body betray me like this? But it did and I was furious. I couldn’t resume working out the way I wanted to and developed back pain serious enough to have to visit a chiropractor multiple times. I was forced to take my time easing back into it, which was depressing. I started with lightweight workouts geared toward postpartum women , but it wasn’t until 6 months postpartum that I finally felt comfortable enough to get back into the dance classes, pilates, and HIIT that I loved and I still had to modify certain moves at times. In addition to all of the above, I still had career goals that I planned to accomplish but it took me months to mentally get back into a space where I wanted to think about work, and actually figured out a new rhythm with my baby. I’m two years postpartum, and while I am psychologically okay most of the time, my body is just now starting to feel like it can do the things that it used to. I’m at 90% and I don’t know that the extra 10% will ever come. I’m still getting used to my new normal. I still feel guilty about having ambitions outside of family, but at the same time, while I love my daughter, I understand that I also need to cultivate my career and personal interests in order to feel sane. In hindsight, I beat myself up for things I couldn’t control during a time when it’s important to take it easy. Sure, women have been having babies since forever, which is why people downplay the severity of giving birth and take the healing process for granted, but it’s always a big deal. Your body has gone through a major shift that can be traumatic in some cases (broken pelvis, weak pelvic floor, etc), and healing time varies. A lot of us try to do the most too fast like it’s a competition to see who can bounce back the fastest and we really just need to sit down, relax and nourish our bodies and spirits as much as we can because anything else does more harm than good. Postpartum life has a way of humbling you and Serena Williams is proof. We noticed that she hadn’t been playing tennis as fiercely as we knew she could and she eventually pulled out of the Rogers Cup, which wasn’t a surprise. If you read her now blown up  Instagram post  about how she has been feeling, then you understand what she’s going through. It’s hard for ambitious moms to take a break, but what matters most is that she listened to her body, her intuition, and her mom tribe, and did what was best for herself and family. She’ll be back when she’s really ready and there’s no time that anyone can put on it. The body knows and communicates what it needs, and patience is all that is necessary. A rare sect of women may actually be able to get back to business in a week or two, some women have no choice but to jump back into the fray immediately (because maternity leave in the United States is trash), but most women aren’t ready to resume daily activities and unfortunately, that’s something that we don’t talk about enough or lie about too often. It’s okay to not feel okay as long as you’re working toward healing (I still need to take my own advice on that) and it’s okay if it doesn’t happen right away. Everyone’s postpartum journey is different, but it’s time for all of us overachievers to surrender to the process as individuals and stop trying to live up to ridiculous standards. Simonne Kerr, Britain’s Got Talent Finalist, Stabbed to Death in London

We have another heinous and tragic death to report from the world of reality television. Just days after former E! star Lyric McHenry was found dead of an apparent drug overdose in New York City, police in Great Britain have confirmed the following piece of heartbreaking news… Simonne Kerr, a finalist just this past season on Britain’s Got Talent, was stabbed to death in London on Wednesday afternoon. She was 31 years old. According to local authorities, law enforcement officials were called to a residential address at Grayshott Road in Battersea just around 12:30 p.m. on August 15.  Upon their arrival, these cops discovered that Kerr had suffered a grave knife wound; she was pronounced dead at the scene. The following day, a 40-year-old named Desmond Slyva was charged with her murder. His motives remain unclear at this time. He appeared at Wimbledon magistrates court on Friday and did not enter a plea, according to The Guardian. Police are not investigating any additional suspects, this same newspaper reports. Kerr performed on Britain’s Got Talent back April as a member of NHS choir group B Positive, which was comprised of singers between the ages of 22 and 62. Each of them has either been diagnosed with sickle cell anemia or have loved ones with sickle cell anemia. It was a pretty cool story and it made significant headlines overeas at the time. Kerr, who worked as a hematology and oncology nurse, joined the group in 2015 after her six-year-old son, Kavele, passed away from the disease. This is a photo of Kerr and Kavele, both of whom are sadly no longer with us: The inspiring group advaned all the way to the show’s finale in June, but were ultimately bested by the eventual winner, Lost Voice Guy. Following the news of Kerr’s awful death, the choir posted a message to Twitter that reads: Our thoughts are with Simonne’s family at this tragic time. She was a valued member of the B Positive choir who was passionate about blood donation following the loss of her son. We are devastated at the loss of a well-loved choir member and friend. In regard to her son, her singing and her motivation in life, Kerr once said the following to the NHS blog : “I got to spend six wonderful years watching Kavele grow and though there were a handful of hospitalizations in his short life, I was positive that he would live a full life into adulthood. “I lost him in 2015 … “Singing can be such an uplifting experience so joining the B Positive choir seemed the obvious way to raise awareness of the urgent need for more young and black people to give blood while doing something positive and motivational.” John James, the chief executive of Britain’s Sickle Cell Society also Tweeted in response to this tragedy, writing: “So so shocked to hear that our friend, Sickle Cell Society volunteer and B-Positive Choir member Simonne Kerr has been tragically killed. In shock. “My thoughts are with her mother, siblings and other family members.” May Simonne Kerr rest in peace. View Slideshow: The Most Shocking Reality Star Deaths: Gone, But Not Forgotten
