As you’ve likely heard by now, Farrah Abraham has been fired from Teen Mom OG for her continued involvement in the world of adult entertainment. Many have defended the controversial star’s right to supplement her income however she sees fit. Many more, however, have applauded MTV for the decision. Of course, that seems to have less to do with porn and more to do with the fact that Farrah is just generally not very well-liked. Abraham is not without allies on social media but her castmates seem to have generally adopted a “good riddance” stance. That’s why word of Farrah’s new ally is so unexpected. It’s been almost a year since Amber Portwood and Matt Baier called off their engagement , but the disgraced former fiancee is still questioned about his feelings regarding the show. Baier recently appeared on Radar Online’s Teen Mom podcast, where he was asked for his thoughts about MTV’s decision to cut ties with Farrah. “I think it’s wrong,” Baier said bluntly. He went on to make a valid (if somewhat naïve) point about MTV’s hypocrisy: “Farrah was originally taken off the show for doing porn. Then she was brought back onto the show. It’s not like the porn was a new thing,” he said. “Is the message: We’re going to bring her back because we had potentially dipping ratings? Now that we feel our ratings are strong, we no longer approve of how she lives her life? I don’t think that’s right.” Baier wasn’t on the show very long, but certainly long enough to get an understanding of how reality TV works. Obviously, Farrah was brought back to assist with declining ratings and kicked to the curb when producers began to feel she was more of a liability than an asset. That’s how it always works, Matt! Farrah is obviously a nightmare to work with. She was only brought back because her insanity made her a ratings magnet. With time, however, viewers started to get as sick of her schtick as producers always were. Farrah’s been doing porn for years. MTV and Viacom only started objecting to it when they needed a reason to fire her. Now, Farrah is suing her former bosses, but she probably doesn’t have a leg to stand on. All they have to do is convince the judge that her live-stream sex shows were a detriment to the show’s reputation (which shouldn’t be hard to do), and it’s case closed. We understand what Matt is saying, but he’s delusional if he thinks MTV will ever regret giving Farrah the boot. (TONY KARUMBA/AFP/Getty Images) Last Male Northern White Rhino Dies From Age Related Complications We were extremely sad to learn that the world’s last male northern white rhino , Sudan, died this week in Kenya. According to NBC News reports , researchers announced the news Tuesday that Sudan had passed from “age-related complications,” saying he “stole the heart of many with his dignity and strength.” A statement from the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya said the 45-year-old rhino was euthanized on Monday after his condition “worsened significantly” and he was no longer able to stand. His muscles and bones had degenerated and his skin had extensive wounds, with a deep infection on his back right leg. We hope he didn’t suffer too much. At least he wasn’t hunted down by some evil colonizers for his horn though. Sudan was born in Sudan before being taken to a Czech zoo where he lived for some time before being transferred to Kenya in 2009 with the three other remaining fertile northern white rhinos at the time. They were placed under 24-hour armed guard and fed a special diet. “However, despite the fact that they were seen mating, there were no successful pregnancies,” the conservancy said. Sudan was part of an effort to help rescue the Northern Whites from extinction after years of being targeted by poachers. His daughter Najin, and her daughter, Fatu are the surviving females at Ol Pejeta. Researchers are now focused on using in vitro fertilization to keep the subspecies alive, using stored semen from other dead rhinos, eggs extracted from Najin and Fatu and surrogate Southern white female rhinos. “He was a great ambassador for his species and will be remembered for the work he did to raise awareness globally of the plight facing not only rhinos, but also the many thousands of other species facing extinction as a result of unsustainable human activity,” said the conservancy’s CEO, Richard Vigne. Pretty sad stuff right? There are still around 20,000 southern white rhinos in Africa, but a hundred years ago they were under threat of extinction, numbering less than 100. South African conservationist Ian Player played a huge role in increasing the number of the animals thanks to efforts he initiated in the mid 20th century. Before their numbers dwindled, northern white rhinos could be found in Chad, Sudan, Uganda, Congo and the Central African Republic but the conflicts across the region also posed a significant danger for the animals as well. Southern white rhinos and black rhinos continue to be hunted by poachers who sell their horns on the black market. In 2016 it was estimated that rhino horn sold for up to 60,000 USD per kilogram — more than gold or cocaine!!!

Executive Produced by Jordan Peele and starring Tiffany Haddish and Tracy Morgan , the narrative for this upcoming show has Morgan’s character finishing a 15-year stint in jail and returning to his neighborhood in Brooklyn. The problem with that is that when he returns, he find’s his old neighborhood to be gentrified, evolved, and unrecognizable. The trailer shows that Tracy’s character both trying to come to terms with the new social norms in Brooklyn, but also has to dealing with the fact that his partner–played by Tiffany Haddish–has moved on while he was incarcerated.

Perry attended the Wearable Art Gala fundraiser on March 17 on Los Angeles, and at one point in the night, a painting was presented that he had his eye one. He recalled, “I was really, really excited to be there and there was this art that came out for auction. It’s this beautiful painting of Sidney Poitier and I’m like, ‘I’ve got to have that.’” His excitement led to him immediately bidding on the painting, but he wasn’t the only one who wanted it, which he realized as someone in another aisle counter-bid: Blue Ivy. The mini Carter didn’t back down quickly, either. Tyler recounted the event saying, ‘Oh, I’m gonna teach you a lesson today!’” as Blue kept bidding higher and higher. “And she keeps going up and up and up with it!” The actor eventually won the painting with a $20,000 bid, but only after Jay Z hilariously snatched the paddle from his daughter’s hands. Getty Images Sinbad Casts In Rel Pilot It’s lit! Comedy veteran Sinbad has just joined the pilot for “Rel”, a Lil Rel Howery and Jerrod Carmichael pilot for Fox according to Variety . The standup comic will play Rel’s dad, as well as the father to Nat (Jordan L. Jones), who seems to care more about his reputation in the community than he does about the happiness of his sons. According to reports, Rel is a comedy inspired by the life of comedian Lil Rel. Lil Rel Howery reportedly stars as a prideful, self-made success who lives by the code of “always believe in yourself and great things will come.” He finds that attitude put to the test when he learns his wife is having an affair with his barber. He tries to rebuild his life postdivorce as a long-distance single father on the South Side of Chicago who is on a quest for love, respect and a new barber. Ironically, Sinbad’s return to television is happening on Fox, where he had his own self-titled series once. The Sinbad Show , which aired on Fox for one season in the 1993-94 season.
