Once again, it seems that Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff just can’t win. When she’s “too close” with her boyfriend, she gets dragged for “living in sin.” by people who hate her relationship and don’t seem to like her that much, either. But now that she’s taken a photo in which Chris Marek is conspicuously absent … fans can’t help but wonder if there’s trouble in their relationship. Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff created a beautiful family together. But literally all marriages end — either in death or a break-up. Amy and Matt are divorced. Though they both still live nearby and both are very close to their children and two grandbabies (and Matt and Amy even partied together for the sake of their son), they have both moved on with their lives. Matt Roloff has moved on with girlfriend Caryn Chandler. And Amy Roloff has, as fans are well aware, moved on with boyfriend Chris Marek. Amy Roloff shared this cute photo featuring herself and four friends, captioning it: “There are treasures in life that are precious and one of them are friends. Good time w/ these friends just hanging out and listening g to local music at Pizzario Hillsboro.” It’s always nice — for those of us who aren’t bitter that Amy has the audacity to enjoy her life after divorce — to see Amy having a good time with what she refers to as “Amy’s Second Act.” But some fans noticed that the pic was different than most of those that Amy shares of her social life. Because Chris Marek was nowhere to be seen. As absurd as it sounds, people took to the captions to ask why Chris Marek, who’s usually by Amy’s side, was missing in action. “Where is Chris on valentines day? Hmm,” one commenter wrote. This photo was taken days before Valentine’s Day, but thanks for playing. “Where’s Chris?” another asked, followed by another: “And Chris??” You can almost feel their eagerness to hear of a breakup, or at least a squabble. Others played something of a guessing game, suggesting that maybe Chris Marek had taken the photo. For what it’s worth, Amy clarified that Chris Marek had other friends. The fact that she even needed to respond to those questions is … absurd. Couples don’t need to be joined at the hip at all time. Amy Roloff doesn’t need Chris Marek as an escort wherever she goes, and the same is true of Chris. They love each other and have a happy relationship, and can do separate activities at night. They should be able to do so without anyone freaking out. You know what’s really at work here? Aside from divorce-shaming and misogyny, we mean. Some people, though they at least have enough shame to not admit it, “don’t trust” Chris Marek because they don’t think that Amy Roloff — as a little person — should be of interest to someone of Chris’ height. Kim Kardashian has taken a break from stripping nearly all the way down to address the most pressing issue currently facing our country: Gun control. In the wake of 17 people being gunned down at a school in Florida on Wednesday, the reality star has chosen to use her social media platform for something worthwhile right now. We’re not saying photos such as THIS ONE are not worthwhile, of course. But they are certainly meaningless in the wake of this horrific school shooting. “We owe it to our children and our teachers to keep them safe while at school,” Kim Tweeted last night, adding: “Prayers won’t do this: action will. Congress, please do your job and protect Americans from senseless gun violence.” The mother of three is reacting here to the way in which most politicians offer “thoughts and prayers” after a shooting of this nature. But we didn’t vote them into office to deliver hollow platitudes, Kim is arguing. We voted them into office to actually pass legislation. On Wednesday afternoon, a 19-year old named Nikolas Cruz opened fire on students and staff members at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. He used an automatic rifle to end the lives of these 17 people, while injuring many others. In the hours since this tragedy took place, a debate has once again arisen over whether new gun control measures ought to be put in place. Along with her own message on the topic, Kardashian re-Tweeted a number of other points people made on Twitter in regard to this contentious issue. To wit: This actually isn’t the first time Kardashian has pushed for gun control of some kind. In November of 2016, she talked to Kendall Jenner about the issue, emphasizing how important it is for celebrities to get involved in various political debates. Just consider the reach they have, she stated. People continue to senselessly die. When will these gun laws be changed?!?!?!?!!!!?????” she asked on Twitter at the time, adding: “The fact that anyone can so easily access guns is so scary & after all of the devastating loss the Senate should have not failed us!!!” We almost never say this about Kim Kardashian, but… we agree. We agree completely with everything she is saying here. In televised remarks from the White House Diplomatic Reception Room on Thursday morning, President Donald Trump said he was committed to making schools safe and to tackle the issue of “mental health” in America. He did not say anything about gun control. “I want to speak now directly to America’s children, especially those who feel lost alone confused or even scared,” he added. “I want you to know that you are never alone, and you never will be. “You have people who care about you, who love you and who will do anything at all to protect you. “If you need help, turn to a teacher, a family member, a local police officer or a faith leader. Answer hate with love. Answer cruelty with kindness.” That sounds terrific in theory. In practice, answering an automatic weapon with kindness will simply get you killed. Kendall Jenner did not have a very happy Valentine’s Day. Instead of receiving chocolates and flowers from boyfriend Blake Griffin, the 22-year old model received some unfortunate news via the Internet: Griffin is being sued. The NBA All-Star’s two-time baby mama and former fiancee, Brynn Cameron, filed a palimony lawsuit against her ex on Wednesday. In extreme detail, Cameron argued that Griffin abandoned her and the two kids he shares with her in favor of Jenner, claiming that Blake made various promises over the years about how he’d always support her. Cameron, who dated Griffin for eight years, says she gave up her own career specifically to assist Griffin with his … … only for the power forward to break his many “promises” because he cares “more about glamour of dating a Hollywood celebrity than the day-to-day responsibilities of being a father and family man.” Ouch, huh? Cameron is seeking an unspecified amount of money from Griffin on a regular basis in this lawsuit. If she’s also seeking to stir up tension between Jenner and Griffin, then she has most definitely succeeded on that front. According to Hollywood Life sources, Kendall is mighty peeved about these legal documents. “This is a major surprise for Kendall ,” the source says, adding of the suit: “She doesn’t want to be a part of anyone’s baggage and she feels that this lawsuit is exactly that. “Kendall doesn’t have any relationship or friendship or anything with Brynn and she wants her name out of any of Brynn’s issues or problems. “She is a little pissed that she is in the news for this, she thinks it is very petty.” It sounds here like she’s mostly pissed at Cameron, but we’d have to imagine she isn’t very happy with Griffin, either. Recent reports have suggested that Blake may have misled Kendall about his relationship status when the stars first met. He may have still sort of been with Cameron when he started dating Jenner, which places Kendall right smack dab in the middle of a controversy she wants to avoid. Unlike her sisters, Kendall rarely yearns to be in the spotlight. She doesn’t thrive on scandal. And yet Cameron is clearly attempting to stir up some $hit here. Just consider… “Brynn wanted to make a statement and to sue Blake on a day that is meant for love,” this same source explains of why she filed the lawsuit on Valentine’s Day. “She wanted it to him hard and she wanted to show him she is very serious in her claims. “It was all very calculated and it was clearly and purposely planned to go down like this and she can’t wait to have her day in court to get what she believes is rightfully hers.” This is a woman on a bitter mission, folks. Jenner, conversely, mostly just wants to be a professional model, to travel the world and to live life in relative peace. There was talk a few weeks ago that she and Griffin were at odds over Cameron – and that was before this latest legal step was taken. “Griffin himself knows very well what breaching promises is all about,” the filing states, adding: “After all, Griffin had no problem trading Brynn Cameron, his former fiancee, and the mother of his 2 children, for reality television star Kendall Jenner.” Yeah. According to a report on Fox5DC Barack Obama’s Washington, D.C. office is surrounded by police, fire department and EMS after a powdery substance was found in a letter that was sent from Hong Kong. Investigators blocked off the street as a precautionary measure, but tests show that the powder was only baby powder.
