After announcing a few tour dates around the US, the Bodega Boys recently followed up with a Desus And Mero Do NYC hometown tour, with 5 dates in each of the 5 boroughs. The boys have been announcing the individual borough’s shows every morning at 10am, and unsurprisingly, tickets are selling like hot cakes. Desus and Mero have already sold out their show in Queens along with a legendary night at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem; Thursday morning came with the announcement of their Staten Island date, which is sure to be sold out within an hour or two, as well. If anyone pays tribute to their New York roots, it’s most definitely these two–especially now while they’re making sure to touch base with fans from The Bronx to Staten Island. The announcement of their Desus and Mero Do NYC Tour also came with the knowledge that there would be a different special guest at each one of the shows, so that’s sure to be something to look forward to. T he family of an iconic Black Lives Matter activist is raising funds to bring his remains home to Charleston, South Carolina after he was gunned down in New Orleans on Tuesday. A woman who identified herself as d’Baha’s niece, Camille, wrote that the funds would also be used for a memorial service and funeral.
