WENN.com Seal Insists He Didn’t Mean To Insult Oprah With His Weinstein Meme Seal was under fire on Thursday for a post he made about Oprah, implying that she cannot be a “Me Too” advocate after years of friendship with Harvey Weinstein. Though many people have been trying to use old pictures of (insert celebrity here) with Weinstein against them, nobody can say that those old friends knew anything about what the powerful producer was doing to various women–especially someone like Oprah, so powerful herself she wouldn’t have been subjected to any of it. Even worse for Seal, he was further labeled as a hypocrite since his ex-wife Heidi Klum was also photographed multiple times with Weinstein, who was a producer for her show Project Runway . Now, unsurprisingly, Seal is backtracking and apologizing for what he posted about Oprah and insisting he has a great deal of respect for the mogul. The singer explains that he only used the meme for the actual message itself, and not to take shots at her in particular. Seal says in a video posted to his Facebook page, “What I re-posted was not an attack on Oprah at all…She just happened to be the person photographed with the pig in the picture. What I re-posted was commentary on the hypocritical and double-standard nature and behavior of Hollywood.” The “Kiss From A Rose” singer also took the opportunity to stick to to Stacey Dash and let her know he isn’t okay with her tweeting articles about him and trying to prove a point. He fired at the Fox News commentator, “Stacey Dash, keep my name out of your mouth. Do not retweet, re-quote anything I said in order to reinforce your self-hating agenda. You live in the Sunken Place.” Can’t really win people over any more than loving on Oprah and hating on Stacey Dash, right?
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Brad Pitt is a single man , having separated from Angelina Jolie back in September of 2016. His first wife, Jennifer Aniston, is very much not single, having married Justin Theroux in 2015. But that hasn’t stopped the tabloid press from reporting that the old flames are eager to rekindle their romance. Of course, for these two A-listers to get back together, that means the pesky C-lister getting in their way will need to be disposed of. Thus, gossip columnists the world over are employing the trick most often used by screenwriters of romantic comedies in which one half of the meet-cute pair is already taken. Yes, they’re leaning hard on the “Uh, her husband is a douche and they were already having problems before the hero entered the picture” narrative. According to Life & Style , Jen and Justin have spent most of the past year apart. The magazine claims they only recently reunited for a New Year’s Eve trip to Mexico … and they brought a huge group of friends along to make the situation less awkward. “They chose to go with friends during this particularly difficult time during their marriage. A week alone would’ve been too strained,” one insider says. “Had they been alone, the insider suspects, they would’ve been dealing with some uncomfortable conversations. They felt it would be easier and more relaxed to have some friends come along.” The source adds that Aniston and Theroux have basically come to terms with the fact that their marriage is coming to an end, but they’re still trying to hide the truth from members of their inner circle. “The truth is that the marriage has been crumbling,” the insider adds. “It’s not make-or-break time for them and their marriage.” Of course, all of this couldn’t come at a worse time, as Aniston has reportedly fallen back under Pitt’s spell in recent months. “Brad and Jen have bonded like never before over the past year,” a friend of theirs tells In Touch . “And they’ve been helping each other through their respective troubles.” Look, we suppose there’s a possibility this is really happening, but it all sounds a little too close to what magazines like In Touch and Life & Style would want to happen for it to be entirely believable. You know how the world recently learned that June Shannon has a secret boyfriend who taught her how to love again ? Mama June gushes about him and the two kiss on the From Not to Hot season 2 trailer, but his actual identity has been kept pretty hush-hush. But now we know his name … and a lot more about him. While it’s great that June’s new size 4 figure is helping her find happiness, for a lot of viewers, the news that June Shannon was dating again brought up … mixed feelings. After all, June was infamously seen cozying up to Mark McDaniel … a convicted sex offender whom June’s own daughter, Anna Cardwell, accuses of molesting her. The only good reason anyone can think of for a mother to spend time with the man who molested her then-8-year-old daughter while her then-three-year-old daughter (Lauryn) was also on the bed is if she had been planning to murder him. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled over that scandal. It was years before the final episodes were aired and before June Shannon made her (real) reality television comeback with From Not to Hot . Thankfully, Mama June does not appear to be repeating such an unimaginable mistake. RadarOnline reports that Mama June’s new boyfriend is Geno Doak, a 42-year-old carpenter. June had previously stated, without naming her beau, that the two had met through mutual friends. Apparently, that also involved her hiring him to fix up her home in Hampton, Georgia. Geno Doak is also a single parent, as he has one son and two daughters. What’s more — these two have dated before. Way back in 2015, in fact. As we previously reported, Mama June hasn’t been able to resist gushing about her then-mystery boyfriend. “He is very, very awesome,” she told E! Well, she definitely sounds enthusiastic about the guy. “He actually restored my faith and the girls’ faith in men.” That’s pretty profound. Before you question why a girl as young as Alana might need her faith in men restored, remember that she has eyes and has also probably noticed her mother’s relationships over the years. June also talks about what makes her love Geno. “It’s the little things…he is above and beyond anything that I could ever expect.” She talks about how this happy romance got started. “We honestly were just wanting to be friends and things just worked out.” A lot of relationships begin that way. RadarOnline confirms that Geno Doak will appear on the second season of From Not to Hot , by the way. We’d figured as much. But we already knew that June’s ex, Sugar Bear, and his new wife would be appearing on the new season, too. And apparently June does not give one flying flip what he thinks about her new relationship. “As long as I’m happy and the girls are happy at the end of the day, that’s all that matters to me.” It sounds like she has her priorities in order. It may be the job of Ellen DeGeneres to make people laugh on a daily basis, but the talk show host was sadly forced to turn serious on Thursday. For the saddest of reasons: Because her father passed away at the age of 92. Ellen broke this news to her viewers in a moving tribute to her dad, Elliott, which followed a long talk with Oprah Winfrey about the fatal mudslides in their home town. “In addition to what’s going on in Monetico, I lost my dad this week,” DeGeneres said, fighting back tears as she spoke. “He was 92 years old. He had a good, long life. And he lived his life exactly how he wanted. He was Christian science his entire life. He never had medicine his whole life. “He never went to a doctor. We never had a vaccination. We never had medicine growing up and he lived to be 92.” Continued the comedian: “He was very proud of me. He loved this show. He was a kind man, very accepting man. “There was not one bone of judgment in his body. He was very funny … Before he passed away I got to talk to him, so I got to say goodbye to him.” We don't know the exact cause of death in this case. But the man was 92 years old. As you can see immediately above and below, Ellen also paid tribute to her father on Twitter yesterday. “It wasn't unexpected,” Ellen added on Instagram. “I was able to say goodbye. When I was a kid, my dad took us on one vacation to Warner Bros. Studios. He loved this business. He loved that I was in it. “When he died, I saw this rainbow over the stage they named for me.” Previously, Ellen has said the following to Winfrey: “So many times over the past 15 years, people have come up to me and say to me that when they're going through a tough time this show gets them through it. “Today, I need you because there's a lot going on in my life right now.” Our thoughts are with Ellen's family at this time. Kailyn Lowry’s love life is a subject of constant speculation from Teen Mom 2 fans. We admit that it can be tough to keep track of Kailyn’s romantic relationships in the year since she split from Javi Marroquin , but here’s our best shot at a definitive rundown: Kailyn dated Chris Lopez for a few weeks, and she wound up having his child. Lopez proceeded to pull a punk move and basically abandoned Kail and the baby, later having a change of heart and deciding that he would like to play a role in his son’s life. (Fortunately, Kail is reportedly sticking to her guns and contesting Lopez’s custody rights .) After that Lowry hooked up with Dionisio Cephas , and based on their social media interactions, it seems the situation almost developed into a full-blown relationship, but never quite got there. After the awesomely-named Cephas, Kailyn entered a relationship with Dominique Potter, a longtime friend-turned-love interest. Things got serious in a hurry, and Potter even moved to Delaware in order to be closer to Kail. Unfortunately, the cooled off as quickly as it heated up, and it was revealed last month that Kailyn and Dominique have broken up. Throughout all of these ups and downs, one figure remained a constant in Kail’s corner–her longtime friend and outspoken social media supporter Becky Hayter. Now that Lowry is single, a new round of rumors that Kailyn and Becky are dating have begun to make their way across the social media landscape. This is nothing new, and about once a month, TM2 fans become convinced that Lowry and Hayter are more than friends. The big difference this time is that Hayter is addressing the reports herself. “You all need to get more creative with these DM’s,” she recently tweeted. “At least send something funny like a joke or meme. The heart eyes and the “Are you and Kail dating” get old.” Shortly thereafter, Lowry responded: “Obviously we are,” which was enough to get fans who don’t understand sarcasm all worked up. With all the talk surrounding Meghan Markle and the family into which she’s about to become a member, a certain someone would like to remind folks about Meghan Markle’s actual family. And that certain someone is her half-sister, Samantha Grant. Grant has become somewhat of a celebrity herself ever since Markle entered the mainstream conversation early last year. She has been granting interviews and trying to get her name out there on a frequent basis for several months now. In the latest case of Grant attempting to capitalize off her sibling’s fame, Grant sat down and spoke to Fox News about various rumors surrounding the soon-to-be Mrs. Prince Harry. “Don’t believe anything you read in tabloids,” Grant says. “Those stories are written to create controversy and sell magazines.” In this initial case, the topic at hand was chatter that Markle would be walked down the aisle by her mother, NOT her father, because she isn’t especially close to her dad. (The former actress’ parents have been divorced for years.) “My father, when we see these tabloids, and it’s every day, we just roll our eyes,” Grant explains, adding: “There are so many rumors, like Meghan doesn’t get along with her dad or he’s reclusive. He’s not. “They talk regularly… Her relationship growing up with him was great. It’s still great now.” Thomas Markle lives a quiet life in Mexico and is on record as saying he would love to walk Markle down the aisle on her wedding day, which is scheduled for May 19. “My father is very close to Meg,” continued Grant, elaborating: “All of that perception created by the press is a horrible, despicable lie… It’s really unfortunate and it has caused the family a lot of pain… It’s atrocious. “And if I’ve had billions of dollars, there are about 50 publications I would go after and sue… But I’m in a wheelchair. I don’t have time or energy to be doing all of that.” Grant has been offered a TLC special and has claimed in the past that she plans to write a tell-all about Markle. Many quickly assumed this memoir (titled “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister”) would be a hatchet job, but Grant now insists she’s been misunderstood. And so has the relationship between her and Markle, who did not grow up in the same house because they are 17 years apart in age. “My relationship with my sister for a while was really hurt because of the perceptions out there,” says Grant. “And I have to say, my book’s not what all of these people are saying it is… Just because it has the word ‘pushy’ doesn’t mean it’s a slamming tell-all… I was making fun of the tabloids… “My goal is really to show how lovely and amazing she is. I look forward to the both of us hopefully laughing over this.” What about the rumor that Grant and Markle have not spoken in a decade? “We spoke in 2014,” Samantha swears. “That doesn’t make us estranged by a decade… When you got someone in the family who is famous, just because they jet-set and have a busy, distracting life, it doesn’t mean anyone in the family is estranged… “Our families have always been very much in touch. And certainly growing up, we were very close.” Still… they haven’t talked in four years?!? Grant simply chalks this up to Markle being “busy” with her career, which took off thanks to her role on the USA Network hit Suits. In conclusion, Grant thinks she’ll be invited to Markle and Harry’s wedding . “I would be honored and to the best of my knowledge, I’m going [to the wedding],” she says. “That’s all I will say… I [still] see her as my little Meggie.
