Lisa Vanderpump is no longer a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She left the franchise by choice, of course. Now, however, a number of Bravo viewers are now urging executives to make sure a pair of veteran reality stars follow Lisa out the door. These folks are just dying to say farewell to Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp. Not long after Vanderpump confirmed she was leaving the series because she was sick of all the fighting and negativity, a change.org petition has started to make the rounds. It currently has over 3,900 signatures on it and it lays out the argument for why Richards and Mellencamp deserve to get fired. The online document was launched at the end of July and surpassed its halfway goal for signatures by August 6, making it clear that this isn’t the work of a tiny minority. There’s at least some segment of the Real Housewives fandom that believes Kyle and Teddi crossed a line with the way they treated Vanderpump this past season. “Kyle has continuously slandered Lisa Vanderpump by accusing her of leaking stories…Kyle has persistently accused Lisa with no proof whatsoever,” the petition’s creator writes. As loyal viewers know, of course, this is a reference to the scandal that became known this spring as PuppyGate . It centered around the allegation that Vanderpump leaked a story about Dorit Kemsley’s rescue puppies (from Vanderpump Dogs) ending up at a shelter after Dorit chose to give them away. Lisa ended her friendship with Kyle after the latter doubted her innocence, which the restaurateur further tried to prove by passing two lie detector tests on air. Shannon Beador has lost an astonishing amount of weight and is having more fun than ever before. Part of that fun is with her handsome businessman boyfriend . Joshua Rush, a 17-year old actor who played the first-ever openly gay Disney Channel character on the show Andi Mack , came out on Tuesday as bisexual. He did so via a series of revealing and candid Tweets. “first to respond to this tweet is bi lol,” Rush wrote, prior replying to his own post as follows: “first! i win! it’s me. i’m bi. And now that I’ve said that, I have a few things to rant about. “There are more important things to talk about than me liking a whole bunch of genders, but I do want to share a few things with you guys.” The actor then referenced his aforementioned Andi Mack character, expounding in detail: “I saw so many of you watch Cyrus come out and said ‘Hey! I can be me!’ How ironic, isn’t it, that me, playing that character, never had mustered up that courage? “Instead of feeling the courage to tell you today that I am an out and proud bisexual man because of the character I played for four years, I feel that courage thinking of all of you, who felt emboldened by Cyrus to come out.” Coming to terms with his sexual orientation was something Rush said was challenging for awhile… even while portraying a character going through a similar thing on screen. “I had a close friend of mine come out to me in fifth grade. FIFTH GRADE! That was well before I had any clue of my own identity and orientation. I suffered with some level of my own internalized homophobia even while playing the first openly gay character on Disney Channel,” he wrote, later adding: “I stuffed the existential crisis of talking about my sexual orientation into a box in my mind for years. Today, I release it into the world. “Being bi isn’t all of my identity, nor is it the most important part of my identity. “Bi erasure and issues like it are important, but trans women of color still have a life expectancy of THIRTY FIVE YEARS and that is absolutely unacceptable.” So … how did Rush get to this point? He gave a lot of credit to material produced by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), and he encouragedd his followers to donate to this organization. “Our show wouldn’t have existed in the form that it did without them, but also because their hard work in furthering acceptance in media helps an uncountable number of people,” he wrote, continuing: “I also want to encourage you to read their page on bisexuality. “It has been incredibly helpful to me, and their resources have helped me to find where I fit on the spectrum of sexuality.” Thankfully, most followers responded to Rush’s admission with praise and support. He concluded his honest and vital message as follows: I also want to ask you to donate to The Trevor Project, who are literally saving lives every day. He took to Twitter to respond to the criticism and had some very eye-opening responses. The album which boasts appearances from Ari Lennox , Gucci Mane, CocoRosie and more is just isn’t impressing fans. Chance’s response to the negative takes on his album was quite interesting. But today (August 6), we learned has already renewed the Donald Glover-helmed series for a fourth season. Deadline reports that the news was revealed at FX’s presentation at the TCA summer press tour. Production for both season 3 and 4 is set to begin next spring, with each series consisting of eight episodes. “What more can be said about Atlanta than the critical acclaim and accolades that Donald, Paul, Dianne, Stephen and Hiro have earned for two exceptional seasons of what is clearly one of the best shows on television,” said FX Entertainment President Eric Schrier. “This group of collaborators and cast have created one of the most original, innovative stories of this generation and we are proud to be their partners.” Season 2, dubbed ‘Atlanta Robbin’ Season,’ wrapped up way back in May 2018. Meanwhile, damn near the entire main cast—besides Glover; Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Stanfield and Zazie Beatz—have become certified stars.

Perhaps people are considering the ways religion has been used to oppress people church membership across the entire nation has declined significantly . It might have something to do with people leaning into spirituality over religiosity. And being in church all my life, until today, I recognize that there is quite a bit of foolishness that transpires within the four walls of the church. There are some who would argue that we shouldn’t speak ill of the church, that we should seek to highlight the positive. While there is certainly more room to speak about all the good that has come to and through church. But if you love something or someone, you want them to do and be better. And that only comes through critique. With that in mind, we’ll be sharing some stories from church that will make you realize that the church has some work to do if they want to remain a viable entity in the coming decades. This first story of folly comes from a storefront church in a borough in New York City. This is not the church I currently attend but circumstances found me in this particular church one day. I consider myself in touch and in tune with my spirit and from the minute the pastor started speaking in this place, I knew it wasn’t where I needed to be. In fact, I had a physical reaction to being in the space. I was shaking with anxiety because I knew so much of what was happening, what was being said had very little to do with Jesus, his daddy or his homie the Holy Spirit. So I vowed never to set foot in there again. Luckily for me, it’s one I’ve been able to uphold. And after I learned of a subsequent issue from that church, I knew I’d made the right decision. Months after I’d attended and advised my friend to leave as well, he sent me a troubling voicemail. Let me give you the prophetic right now. This building—because of what he did to the church, any business that come in here will never prosper. I release it and it shall be so. Watch and see. That hair salon that will come here? Six months. That liquor shop that they got planned for? Five weeks. Watch God. It will not stand. They will always have to have a sign up there and he will never get anyone to stay permanently. It will never happen. I curse this building. I curse it in the name of Jesus. Y’all don’t like it but that’s alright. I curse it today. Then, the pastor took it a step further. And I curse his loins! Someone in the congregation shouted, “Oh! I curse this building by the blood of the lamb. Too long. Six years of hardship. You pay the rent and they still bother you. Six years of trouble and because of that, I release one of the greatest curse in this neighborhood.” The crowd claps and there are sporadic amens. “I say it in Jesus mighty name.” As the pastor takes her seat, someone laughs at the landlord’s pending misfortune. Then the next person stepping up with the pulpit quotes scripture to support the pastor’s claims, “Touch not God’s anointed. I don’t even have the time to break down the levels of wrong here. Do New York landlords have a tendency to be greedy, predatory and difficult? Yes. But squabbling over money before you ultimately decide to leave a space anyway, doesn’t warrant the death of this man’s firstborn child. For those of you a little rusty on your biblical stories, this curse on the landlord’s firstborn is a reference to Moses and Pharaoh. When Moses was trying to convince the Pharaoh to let his people leave bondage, God sent seven (or 10 depending on how you count) plagues to the land of Egypt. Water turned to blood. The kingdom was overrun with frogs, lice, and flies, livestock died, the people developed boils, there was hail, locusts, darkness and lastly the firstborn children in every family died—unless their house was covered by the blood of the lamb. Even if the landlord was a true asshole, I doubt he did anything as heinous as keeping an entire population of people in slavery. But the gag is, God sent those plagues. And He did it to prove that He was God. Not Moses. I think we all know that God is the only one who can give and take life. As we reported a week ago, Jon Gosselin hit the beach for a sweet family vacation with his girlfriend and with his children, Hannah and Collin. Well, they’re still enjoying their time at the beach as a family. And speaking of family, it looks like Jon is cozying up to the man who may one day be his father-in-law. Jon Gosselin shared this wholesome photo of him, girlfriend Colleen Conrad, son Collin Gosselin, and Colleen’s dad. “Back at the Beach!!!” Jon wrote happily in the captions on Instagram. He shared some specifics: “Atlantic City for dinner with Colleen’s Dad.” “We call him “Dude,'” Jon revealed. Nicknames can be fascinating things, but of course, many fans were immediately curious about the conspicuously missing face. “Hannah is still at the the beach with her friends,” Jon shared. This is a good time to remember that Hannah is 15. Playing at the beach with friends is a very age-appropriate activity. “And of course,” Jon’s caption continued. “Collin wouldn’t miss a meal!!!” Speaking of the sextuplets being 15, Collin is 15 years old. To be 15 is to be ravenous at all times. Jon went on to share that they were dining at “our favorite place Back Bay Ale House!!!” Whether that was an arranged endorsement or just an earnest shoutout is anyone’s guess. “I Love Colleen, I love my kids,” Jon affirmed affectionately. “And I Love my life, my family, and my friends,” he added. “Things are good!!!” Jon gushed. “I really can’t complain,” he admitted. “I’m truly blessed!!!” It’s it a beautiful thing to watch someone turn their entire life around for themselves and for at least part of their family? Jon and Colleen have enjoyed a summer of romantic fun. But though they may be acting like a couple newly in love, they have been dating for several years. Giddiness aside, this is a serious relationship that includes a blended family of two of Jon’s children. It’s always possible that wedding bells could be on the horizon for these two. If so, it’s great that Jon is taking the time to bond with Colleen’s family — in this case, with “Dude.” Colleen has spent a lot of time with Collin and Hannah, welcoming Jon’s children into her home. By all accounts, Colleen is a kind and loving person. We can only imagine the sort of shock that the two young teens must have felt after years under Kate Gosselin’s tyrannical rule. Kindness, joy, fun, and respect can be a wonderful and nurturing environment for teens. We are so grateful — as we’re sure that Jon is — that he found a partner who is happy to help create a loving home. Even without his kids, Jon is clearly grateful to have found such a loving partner who loves him back. Not everyone finds love again after escaping from a toxic marriage. And, let’s be completely honest here — Jon Gosselin has had his issues over the years. Not everyone saw him as a prize. But Colleen accepted him, baggage and all. It’s been amazing to watch this romance blossom. Jon can do, and has done, much worse.
Tyler and Catelynn Baltierra are raising two little kids at home. But these reality stars are actually the biological parents of three kids, having given up a daughter named Carly for adoption back when they were teeangers because they didn’t feel prepared for parenthood at the time. The Teen Mom OG cast members actually spent time with their first-born this summer in anticipation of Carly turning 10 years old. In celebration of this same occasion, Tyler and Catelynn opened way up about this daughter on Monday night’s emotional and revealing episode of this same MTV franchise. And we mean way up. They grew especially candid at times. When a producer asked Tyler what he’d tell someone who was thinking of placing their little boy or girl up for adoption, he said knowing other family is key. Does this mean he regrets the way things transpired with Carly? Tyler didn’t go that far, but he did say the following on air: “The only thing I would say, just make sure the family you want your baby to be raised with, you know very, very well. They’re your kid’s whole world,” he advised. Speaking of Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, the veteran MTV personality added: “We know Brandon and Teresa were a little more reserved than we were. We weren’t raised around that kind of lifestyle, so we’re like, that’s how these well-off people act.” Tyler and Catelynn are raising five-year old Nova at the moment, along with little Vadea, who was born in February . “If we would have known what we know now, we might have been like, we want kinda people that are kinda just relaxed,” Tyler added. Tyler went on to acknowledge the situation was likely just as strange for the Davis family. Just consider: They thought they’d be adopting a little girl in privace; they couldn’t possibly have predicted Tyler and Catelynn would become legitimate reality stars and this situation would continue to be discussed all these years later. “Our situation’s super not normal,” Tyler said simply. Talking to the same producer, Catelynn explained that young Nova doesn’t fully comprehend the situation with Carly. “We don’t get into too much detail because she’s so young,” she said. “We just said she lives far away.” That’s fair, right? How else do you explain the concept of adoption to a toddler? When Carly is older, Catelynn said she and Tyler would “tell her the raw reality” of why they put her up for adoption in the first place. In a preview for next week, meanwhile, it looks like Carly and Nova will actually meet for the first time. “One thing we never thought about was explaining it to our children, especially our situation, we’re still together,” Tyler concluded.
