Texas rapper Tay-K is facing five to ninety-nine years in prison for every charge against hime after he was found guilty of a 2016 murder and aggravated robbery according to Fox4News . The 19-year-old born Taymore McIntyre initially pleaded guilty to the robbery but not the body, his lawyer couldn’t convince a judge that his client wasn’t liable. What’s crazy is that this isn’t the only robbery and murder case that Tay-K is facing! He’s still facing a capital murder charge in Bexar County and an aggravated robbery charge in Tarrant County. Both of those incidents took place after the rapper cut off the ankle monitor he was assigned after he was arrested for the chargees he was just found guilty of. Unlike most people who marry into the British Royal Family, Meghan Markle was famous long before she said “I do.” But basic cable legal drama fame isn’t quite the same as marrying one of the most sought-after the men on the planet and becoming a freakin’ duchess overnight. So we suppose it should come as no surprise that Meg experienced some growing pains while transitioning from Rachel Zane to the Duchess of Sussex. As you may have heard, Meghan’s rekindled friendship with Kate Middleton is the subject of a People magazine cover story this week. The issue actually features several stories about the formerly dueling duchesses, including one about how Meghan has struggled in adjusting to this new, much brighter spotlight. “Meghan has struggled with the intensity of the spotlight,” a source close to the royal family tells People . “Although she is a former actress, this is on a different level.” Apparently, Meghan has mostly grown accustomed to her role at this point, but she still finds it challenging to live her life under such intense scrutiny. “It is an isolated existence,” the insider claims. No word on whether or not the rumors that Harry is encouraging Meghan to enter therapy are related to all this pressure. But frankly, we would hope anyone who has this much on her plate is receiving some sort of professional counseling! Interestingly, it seems Meghan’s feelings of isolation may have helped her bond with Kate. The Duchess of Cambridge has admitted to feeling “lonely at times” as a mother living life in the public eye. “Tou do feel quite isolated. But so many other mothers are going through exactly what you are going through.” “Babies are a great leveler,” says royal commentator Victoria Arbiter. “The minute you’re bonding over your stories and sleepless nights, suddenly all the stuff that mattered before doesn’t matter anymore.” We’re sure in the very near future, we’ll see another round of rumors claiming that Meghan and Kate are feuding or that Meg is cracking under the pressure of life as a royal. Taking to IG to mock and clown his fellow Queens brethren for not getting that good ol’ VIP treatment once reserved for “the world’s most talented record label, Murder Inc.,” 50 played the clips of Irv and Ja getting into an argument with security at S.O.B.’s while cracking up without a care in the world (we’re surprised no one tried to get 50 Cent to play a hyena in The Lion King with that signature cackle of his). “Let me take my shirt off cause i’ma do nothin’!” Fif commented in a clip of Ja attempting to remove his garment at the entrance of the club only to leave it on before bouncing. “Exclusive footage of nothin’! At this point, the “OG” in Teen Mom OG is more of a suggestion than a hard-and-fast rule. After all, none of the cast members who have joined the show since Farrah Abraham’s departure have met the “original girl” requirement — hell, Cheyenne Floyd wasn’t even a teen mom! But as Cheyenne proved, a likable personality is far more important than strict compliance with the original premise of the series. And so, when seeking out a replacement for Bristol Palin — who quit the show after one season — and possibly Amber Portwood — who seems likely to be fired in the very next season — producers are less concerned with sticking to the rules than with finding a mom fans can identify with. And it seems the search has led them straight to Mackenzie McKee. Mackenzie was one of the cast members on the short-lived Teen Mom 3, and she’s currently in sort of a limbo-state, having apparently toined TMOG on a part-time basis. McKee was at the taping of this year’s Teen Mom OG reunion show, and she’ll reportedly appear in the final episodes of the current season. And while longtime viewers — and Mackenzie’s new co-stars — might take issue with the decision, it seems Ms. McKee will have plenty to offer in terms of drama. For starters, Mackenzie’s mother is battling cancer . Angie Douthit has become an inspirational figure to many in recent years, and the show will focus largely on her fight for her life. But it will also devote a good deal of time to Mackenzie’s tumultuous relationship with husband Josh McKee. “Mackenzie’s scenes will be an update on her crazy life,” an insider told Radar. “Viewers will find out what’s going on with her marriage to Josh and how they’re working through their ugly past,” the source adds. “It will follow them getting along and figuring things out.” The couple has had lots of ups and downs over the years, including accusations of infidelity. These days, they’re still together, but it seems their history is even uglier than we realized — and the show promises to fill us in on all that. It will also feature some physical action with screen time devoted to Josh’s love for bucking broncos. “Josh rodeoing will appear on the season,” says the source. Speaking of animals, McKee’s alleged abuse of pets has some fans promising to boycott the show if she’s added to the cast on a full-time basis. On top of that, she might have trouble wining over her castmates, several of whom have made it clear that they would prefer that their bosses not replace Bristol . “No new friends,” Maci Bookout quipped when asked about the possibility of a new cast member. “If it’s not broke don’t fix it! #TeenMomOG #JustSaying,” Catelynn Lowell tweeted when the news of McKee’s casting brokw. When a fan wrote, “I didn’t realize you’re such a mean girl,” Mackenzie responded, “Same.” Catelynn later explained, “It has NOTHING to do with Mackenzie at all! It’s with the ppl that don’t explain what’s happening. I welcome anyone just think MTV would tell us not find out online.” As you can see from the pic above, Mackenzie appears to have patched up her differences with the Baltierras. Hopefully, she’ll find it just as easy to win over skeptical fans.
When R. Kelly was arrested on sex trafficking charges last week, many — likely including the singer himself — assumed that he would be released within hours. After all, Kelly has proven surprisingly adept at evading authorities over the years, and he’s remained a free man despite dozens of allegations against him over the course of two decades. But a full week after he was taken into custody, Kelly remains behind bars. A judge denied him bail at a hearing on Tuesday, so it looks like he’ll remain locked up at least until his trial. And as is so often the case with rich and powerful men who lead lives of crime, the possibility of being locked up for a very long time didn’t seem real to Kelly until he actually spent some time behind bars. Now, it’s all hitting home for the 52-year-old, and it seems he’s very aware that prison isn’t a very pleasant place for convicted sex offenders. According to a new report from TMZ, Kelly is being kept in solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago. And the surprising thing is, he prefers it that way. Kelly’s attorney, Nicole Blank Becker, tells TMZ that the R&B legend feels that his life would be in danger in the general prison population. And he must really be afraid of getting snuffed out because life in the hole sounds like a nightmare experience. Whereas the gen. pop. inmates have access to the phone whenever they want, Kelly has just 15 minutes a month to speak with family and friends on the outside. On top of that, he receives no TV or internet access. Kelly is almost entirely illiterate, which further complicates his situation, as even minor tasks like choosing items from the commissary list are nearly impossible for the singer. And so, Kelly and his lawyers are at odds over his situation. They feel it’s unsafe for him to remain in solitary; he feels it would be unsafe for him to live among the general population. It’s possible that in this case, he knows something they don’t. TMZ reports that Kelly has little to no support among his fellow inmates, which is not surprising. He’s locked up in his native Chicago, and given the number of accusers he’s amassed over the years, it seems almost impossible none of them have any association with one of the prisoners. Meanwhile, the case against Kelly seems to get stronger by the day. Prosecutors claim they’re in possession of a tape that shows Kelly engaging in sex acts with multiple minors . It that’s the case, this may be an open-and-shut trial. And Kelly might be right about how at risk he would be outside of protective custody. View Slideshow: R. The RHOA star took Bravo inside baby Pilar’s “Luxury Lounge” that includes a library, a milk station so Pilar can get “milk drunk” and a pile of suicases for international travel. Kim Kardashian delivered a major plot twist when she revealed she was studying to become a lawyer earlier this year. It may be hard to imagine Kim representing anyone in court, and not just because she hasn't yet passed her Bar exam. But now that Wendy Williams is calling out for Kim's help, it's clear that Kim's influence and legal know-how are already in high demand . In a recent segment on her talk show show, Wendy Williams asked Kim Kardashian to help get A$AP Rocky released from jail in Sweeden. The 30-year-old rapper was arrested for assault after he and his crew were involved in a street altercation in Stockholm late last month. The beatdown was caught on camera, but Rocky's lawyer insists that it was done in self-defense. Additional footage of the incident, posted to the rapper's Instagram seems to confirm the lawyer's account. In the videos, we can plainly see that Rocky and his crew are being followed and harrassed by shrimpy guys who should really know better. Rocky and his entourage all but beg the two men to leave them alone and “walk the other way.” Of course, both men repeatedly refused to take the advice and continued to stalk the crew around Stockholm, resulting in the eventual fight and arrests. Look, laws are laws, and violence should always be discouraged. But after watching the tapes, it's hard not to feel like those jerks had it coming. Wendy Williams seems to think of the Swedish as organized, healthy, and humane, and assumed their prisons would follow suit. “I'm thinking the prison probably has down sheets, 700 thread count,” Wendy says in the clip. She muses, “You can eat the meatballs like at IKEA all day long.” But Wendy was appalled by the reality of Rocky's imprisonment when she learned of the horrific, inhumane conditions in his cell. “It's Holy Hell!” Wendy reveals about the prison. She goes on to explain that he sleeps “down on the floor” on something akin to a yoga mat. She adds that he has no cell-mate, and he's been alone in his cell for 16 days. “This is stupid, he needs to be released,” Wendy asserts. Apparently, this is where Kim Kardashian comes in. Wendy Williams feels that if Kim were to speak up about this, her voice would make a difference. Kim would be joining a handful of other celebrities who have spoken out about the wrongful imprisonment, including Al Sharpton, Snoop Dogg, and even Donald Trump. In fact, it's Snoop Dogg who first mentions that Kim should get involved, as Wendy's clip shows. “Hey Kim Kardashian,” Snoop says in a self-recorded video post, “go get Rocky out of jail.” “Look out for us,” the famous rapper entreats, adding “The black community needs this.” Snoop and Wendy both also call on Kanye West to simply make his wife help Rocky out, in case their pleas didn't reach her directly. But why Kim Kardashian? What exactly do all these celebrities expect her to do? Well, the “queen of celebrities” as Wendy calls her, is on track to becoming a full-fledged lawyer. And although she may not be legally certified yet, she may have a more a nuanced perspective of this issue from a legal standpoint. “She's involved with the law right now,” Wendy points out, “and this would be a big feather in her cap if she can help make this happen.” Truly, Kim's influence is so mighty that she could bring a lot of attention to Rocky's plight without ever stepping into the courtroom. But Wendy ackowledges that Kim can't pull this off all by herself. “When I say help, I mean she should not be the main person,” Wendy clarifies, suggesting Kim contact a law firm. Wendy goes on to explain that “Kim needs to be in the shadows, but clearly present, making it happen.” Wendy also suggests that Kim go so far as to make use of her connections with the white house, pushing our government to fast-track the issue with Sweeden. We love this fantasy of Kim as some kind of fame-powered superhero, fighting for justice from “the shadows” despite her insane level of visibility. We think Wendy may be giving Kim a little bit too much credit. But we live in a time when celebrities seem to make all the rules, so honestly, who even knows anymore? In any event, the world will know more about A$AP Rocky's fate on Friday, when prosecutors must either formally charge him or request to extend his detainment.
