Amy Duggar Fires Back at Baby Bump Critics in Blistering Rant

The pregnant Amy Duggar loves to share her joy with fans on social media. Sadly, social media is full of trolls as well as fans. Now 26 weeks pregnant with her first child, the niece of Jim Bob Duggar has been sharing plenty of pictures of the journey. Which is great, except for the timing of such photo documentation – at least according to the haters who lurk on the Internet. After all, last week saw the miscarriage of Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth ’s baby girl, an event that shook the family to its core. All miscarriages are devastating, but this one was more surprising than most, as Joy was just six weeks behind her cousin. Joy shared pictures of the stillborn child , which she and Austin had named, in a heartwarming, tragic and controversial post. Because of this, Amy’s most recent pic of her growing belly (top) sparked comments from fans who called it disrespectful. The image of Amy, at a flea market in Arkansas holding her baby bump, was captioned simply, “nursery shopping today!” Critics pounced on this, suggesting that she should stop with the baby posts for at least a couple of days out of respect. Supportive fans countered that she shouldn’t have to stop being happy about her own pregnancy. Amy herself agreed. Amy, 32, said that she won’t be apologizing for what is happening in her life, despite the obvious pain she feels for Joy-Anna.  Moreover, she fired back: “Also, after what my family has been through how dare you say that to me.” “This baby is bringing me so much happiness, do you even know how many tears I have cried lately?” In addition to Joy-Anna’s loss, Amy was referring to her grandmother Mary Duggar’s death in a tragic drowning accident. They were extremely close; Amy once mentioned that she and Mary would speak or see one another a few times a day. She was crushed by this loss, as well as heartbroken for Joy, and also for Lauren Duggar’s miscarriage last October. Basically, she’s dealt with a lot.  She can be sad and happy at the same time. We are only human and grieve in different ways. Amy loves her family. Everyone else can step off. It’s that simple. Amy marches to her own beat, just as she always has. Tori Roloff: Uggh! This Pregnancy is Making Me So Fat!

We’re just gonna go right ahead and say this up front: We love and admire you, Tori Roloff. You’ve managed to build a huge Instagram following while remaining upbeat, kind, helpful and, simply put, normal . That’s not easy to do in this day and age. Why did we feel a need to open this post by stating our take on the Little People, Big World star? Because Roloff shared an emotional message on her social media account over the weekend that candidly focused on her second pregnancy… how it compares to her first pregnancy… and what she is struggling with these days, both physically and mentally. “This pregnancy has been a lot harder on me than the last. Don’t get me wrong-I’ve been so lucky… im not sick (anymore) and I haven’t had any complications (thank the lord),” wrote Amy to open her caption to the photo above. Amy and Zach Roloff announced they were expecting again in mid-May. They are already parents to a two-year old named Jackson. And Tori has talked previously about why this pregnancy has been a a challenge . In this case, however, she gets far more personal than ever before. “I have had a harder time accepting my body this go around,” Tori now confesses, adding: “I’ve gotten bigger a lot faster than I did with Jackson and I’ve become a lot more insecure. “Hearing people ask me if I’m sure it’s not twins definitely does not help (for all our sakes-don’t ever ask a woman this question. Like ever).” About two weeks ago, Tori joked about how quickly her baby bump was growing . Here, though, she gets pretty serious pretty darn quickly. “It’s been hard to really enjoy this pregnancy because I’ve let my own body image issues get in the way,” she admits, prior to turning her attention to her gender in general and writing: “Us as women are so badass. Like we can grow babies. And I know I need to give this up to God right and be thankful for this gift-and I’m trying trust me. But for all those women out there-pregnant or not- you need to hear this just like I do.” Her what? Tori goes on to deliver a rather awesome pep talk. This is what she writes: You’re beautiful, you’re strong, and dang it love yourself no matter what. I know someone besides just me needs to hear that today. So excuse me while I go try my best to live out these words and continue growing a freaking human being. Like we said at the outset: We really love Tori Roloff. We can’t wait to meet her daughter in November. Yup: We already know the baby’s gender and approximate due date. Back on May 13, Tori and Zach confirmed their major family news to Us Weekly. “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother!” the couple shared back then, adding: “We can not wait to meet our sweet baby girl!” Hey, we feel the same way! On Sunday, it was announced that “Jessie” actor Cameron Boyce died Saturday night in his sleep. According to law enforcement: “The 20-year-old actor,who starred in several Disney shows including “Descendants,” could not be revived after paramedics rushed to his home. Cameron’s family said he had an ongoing medical condition and died in his sleep the result of a seizure.” Boyce is most known for his role in the ‘Descendants’ TV series and movies, playing Adam Sandler’s son in ‘Grown Ups’, “Shake it Up,” “Austin & Ally” and “Good Luck Charlie.” Cameron’s family released a statement about their son’s sudden passing, writing: “He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. Amber Portwood: Released From Jail … to Go to Prison?!

Remember a few days ago when people were still talking about how far Amber Portwood has come, and how she’s doing so much better these days? Things change so quickly, don’t they? To be fair, it’s not that difficult to see why so many people thought that the Indiana native had turned her life around. In the early days of Teen Mom, going back a decade at this point, she was on drugs. Like, insanely hard drugs. She was high all the time, didn’t treat her mental illnesses, and assaulted Gary Shirley in front of their daughter, Leah. Eventually she went to prison for a whole lot of things – drug stuff, plus that previously mentioned domestic violence. She served 17 months of a five-year sentence. Seventeen months. Nearly a year and a half of her life behind bars. When she was released, she talked a lot about how much she’d changed, but it was hard to buy that for some time. After all, she was with mega douche Matt Baier (below). It was also hard to believe she was clean when she kept drinking with Baier, an addict with his own suspect past. After  her truly bizarre appearance on Marriage Boot Camp , many people believed she was back on drugs as well. Then, after leaving the Marriage Boot Camp set, she got with Andrew Glennon, a crew member on the show. Yeah. Her life has been a roller coaster to say the least, and the biggest twists and turns were yet to come … Within literal days of starting their relationship, she was pregnant, but here’s where things seemed to take a turn. After she gave birth to their son, James, it was very noticeable how different she was with him compared to years past. Looking back on Leah when she was a baby, and how Amber responded, it was like watching a different person. In a positive way. It appeared, at least to us, like Andrew did a great job of calming her down and helping her deal with her anger problems. He also helped her with her postpartum depression . “Wow, that Andrew is so good for her,” more than a few Teen Mom fans expressed in recent years. “She’s so different!” Turns out, not so much. Early Friday morning, Amber was arrested for domestic battery  following an incident that was concerning to say the least. We still don’t have the full story, but around 3:00 a.m., Andrew was holding James and Amber allegedly assaulted him. He sent a text to 911, a cool new feature in their state, and the responder called police, saying: “I received a text message from someone saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger.” A few hours later, police arrived to arrest the 29-year-old reality star, and she was taken to the local jail to be processed. She stayed there all day, and there was some speculation that since the domestic battery charge was a felony, she’d stay there until Monday morning when she could see a judge. Not so! She was finally released yesterday afternoon after being bonded out – all in all, she spent right around a day and a half behind bars. She still has to see a judge on Monday morning, specifically at 8:30. Now, we’re not legal experts or psychics or anything like that, but still, we get a feeling that this isn’t going to go so well. Remember, this isn’t the first time Amber’s been arrested for domestic violence. Years ago, she was originally arrested on three counts of this same act, and sentenced to probation. When she violated that probation, that’s when she went to prison before. Indiana, where she lives, is one of the states that has the “three strike law,” which should truly terrify her. Essentially, if a person is convicted of a violent felony multiple times, they’ll have to serve the full sentence the third time around. Considering that the full sentence for a repeat offender wouldn’t be a light one in all likelihood, that makes it pretty clear that they take crimes like these seriously, don’t you think? Adam Sandler Pens Heartfelt Tribute to Cameron Boyce

Hollywood is reacting in shock and sorrow to the death of a young actor today. As previously reported,  Cameron Boyce is dead at the very young age of 20. The Disney Channel star, best known for roles in Jessie and Descendents, passed away in his sleep after suffering a seizure. “It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron,” the actor’s family said in a statement on Sunday, adding in awful detail: He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother. In the wake of this tragic news going viral, a number of stars have taken to social media to express their sadness and send their condolences. And one of the most prominent tributes was penned by Adam Sandler. “Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and and most decent kid around,” Sandler wrote on Twitter. He appeared opposite Boyce in both Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2. Added the long-time star: “Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world. Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences.” Just so heartbreaking all around. Elsewhere, director Kenny Ortega penned the following on Instagram: My Love, Light and Prayers go out to Cameron and his Family. Cameron brought Love, Laughter and Compassion with him everyday I was in his presence. His talent, immeasurable. His kindness and generosity, overflowing. It has been an indescribable honor and pleasure to know and work with him. I will see you again in all things loving and beautiful my friend. I will search the stars for your light. Rest In Peace Cam. You will always be My Forever Boy. There was also the following from Charles Esten, who appeared on Jessie as Boyce’s character’s dad. “My family and I are devastated today, by the loss of our young and amazing friend, Cameron Boyce. Years before I was blessed to play his father on JESSIE, we were blessed to know him and his wonderful family at the elementary school our kids all attended together,” the Nashville alum began in a series of Tweets. He continued: “It was there we were introduced to his endless talent, kindness, and joy for living. At his very 1st talent show, little Cameron’s dancing lit up the stage, and left everyone on their feet, cheering. “It was clear to all that he was destined to be the star he would soon become. And yet, Cameron never carried himself with anything but kindness, humility, effortless grace, and great humor. “Even as his star ascended with JESSIE, and he began to receive the type of fame that can change people, I never saw that change. Not even a little.” And this from actress and Disney Channel co-star Skai Jackson: “I don’t even know where to start… I am at a loss for words. I never thought in a million years I would be writing this. “Cam, you were one of a kind. My heart will be forever broken. I am so happy that I got to spend almost everyday with you on set, you gave the best hugs. I wish I would have hugged you tighter when I saw you a couple of months ago. “Thank you so much for being the big brother I never had… I am so distraught and I cannot stop crying! I love you so much… fly high, Gods best Angel.” Boyce made his acting debut at the age of nine and then was cast in Grown Ups at the age of 11. T.I. Joins Task Force That Aims To Reimagine Atlanta City Jail

A tlanta-bred rapper T.I. has been a fierce advocate for criminal justice reform and he is taking his involvement in the movement to another level. According to WSB-TV , T.I.—whose real name is Clifford Harris —has joined Atlanta’s city jail task force to change the way the Atlanta City Detention Center is utilized. A newly formed task force charged with finding a new use for Atlanta’s city jail includes criminal justice reform volunteers, activists, council members and… @Tip https://t.co/KEwUAV0UTS — AJC (@ajc) July 3, 2019 The task force—which is being spearheaded by Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms —is comprised of 25 elected officials, activists, and thought-leaders within the criminal justice reform space. They will gather to determine the best way to use the Atlanta City Detention Center where individuals are currently being held for minor offenses. According to a statement released by the task force, Mayor Bottoms wants to transform the facility into a space that can be used for wellness, the reduction of recidivism, and a support center for individuals who are impacted by mass incarceration. “There is a much better use for this facility,” said Mayor Bottoms as she signed legislation to have the jail closed in May. “My dream for this jail, for this physical facility, is that it becomes a center of equity. I see this as a place that we will have access to childcare, GED training, vocational training, also perhaps some type of housing in this place, workspace.” She believes that reimagining the jail will be an impactful step towards getting ahead of crime in the city. Facilities like the one being proposed by the mayor and the task force are needed. According to Patch , Georgia is the No. 1 state in the country when it comes to the number of people who are under supervision. This includes individuals who are in prison or jail or who are on parole or probation. Harris has been dedicated to bettering Atlanta. In April the rapper—who was awarded by the Georgia Senate for his philanthropic efforts—teamed up with the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church to bail out nonviolent offenders so they could be reunited with their families for Easter. YG Clarifies That He Wasn’t Involved After His SUV Was In The Middle Of A Police Shootout

Source: Michael Wright/WENN.com / WENN YG’s SUV Involved In A Police Shootout In Los Angeles YG is making sure the world knows he had nothing to do with a high-speed chase through the streets of Los Angeles, even though it involved an SUV registered in his name. The Compton rapper told TMZ the following before tweeting out the same statement: “I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood. I was there until after midnight on the Fourth of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened.” The outlet’s sources say that YG is the registered owner of the black Cadillac Escalade that was involved in Wednesday night’s pursuit, which began with a deputy-involved shooting in Compton. The SUV had aftermarket bulletproof glass and armor. The Escalade is said to be a company car and like YG mentioned, he did not know the vehicle was being used at the time. According to police, they were initially called to apprehend a reckless DUI suspect, but detectives then responded to a deputy-involved shooting after an innocent bystander was caught in the crossfire and shot dead at the scene. Following the deadly shootout, a high-speed chase ensued and the pursuit finally came to an end in Inglewood.  The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says that more shots were fired during the chase, with suspects shooting at deputies and a Sheriff’s helicopter, which was not struck by bullets. One deputy was shot during the pursuit and suffered minor injuries from a gunshot wound, and he was treated and released. According to multiple reports, a patrol car’s windshield was peppered with bullets.  At least one person was detained, and another suspect remains outstanding. The “Old Town Road” star says backlash has increased sine his big reveal and in a new BBC interview the Atlanta native seems at peace with his decision. BBC News reports : US rapper Lil Nas X has revealed he has experienced a backlash on social media since posting cryptic hints on Twitter that he is gay. “I’m not angry… because I understand how they want that reaction,” said the 20-year-old performer. “So I’m just going to joke back with them.” Lil Nas X – real name Montero Lamar Hill – told BBC Breakfast he felt like he was “opening doors for more people”. “I don’t want to live my entire life… not doing what I want to do,” he added. He said he hoped his fans would “feel comfortable” but admitted homosexuality was “not really accepted in either the country [or] hip-hop communities”.
