After a report went out that the actor would possibly be returning to the series for its final season, Lee Daniels has shut down that plan via Twitter. Deadline reports : “Jussie will NOT be returning to Empire,” Daniels tweeted Tuesday afternoon following reports that the embattled actor’s character Jamal Lyon was being re-worked into scripts for the Fox series. A well-placed source told Deadline today that Smollett’s ongoing legal issues are partly to blame for him remaining on the sidelines. “There are still too many unknowns about what really occurred, why the charges were suddenly dropped and the effect it all has had on Empire for the network or the producers to feel Jussie can slip back into the show,” the individual said. Thus far, Smollett has kept a low profile since the shocking news that all charges were dropped. However, the actor’s ordeal is ongoing as the city is suing him for extending city resource s for the investigation into the alleged staged hate crime. @Variety @JoeOtterson This is not factual. Further, Guzman won’t be given access to the general population commissary out of fear items purchases can be turned into weapons. TMZ reports : The former Mexican cartel kingpin recently filed a motion requesting at least 2 hours of outdoors recreation time per week while he’s held in custody at a federal prison in New York, plus access to the general pop commissary so he can buy goodies. Chapo was also looking to get access to some earplugs so he could sleep easy at night and get rid of ear pain he says he’s been experiencing in the joint. Well, a judge didn’t bite on any of it, and his reasoning is pretty damning. First, the court says Chapo’s request for outdoors time is a nonstarter (he’s currently being held under strict restrictions) because the U.S. government’s worried he’ll try to escape again. The outlet adds that El Chapo has been well-behaved while inside the joint, which is probably why he made the request but it’s not foreseeable in the near future. — Photo: Getty

And, with that, it’s over. Both the latest season of Little People, Big World and the one major debate that hung over the past several episodes of this TLC reality show. Would Amy and Matt Roloff sell their family farm? Would the latter convince the former that this was for the best? Or would the former successfully hold out and hold on to the property? On Tuesday’s concluding episode of Little People, Big World, Amy finally decided – after lengthy, frustrating and at times anger-filled negotiations with her ex-husband – that living on the farm was no longer “healthy” for her. She agreed to move on. “This has been a huge, huge decision, and it’s probably caused me a lot of stress and a lot of anxiety and a lot of sadness,” Amy confessed to the camera on Tuesday night ahead of her meeting with Matt, adding: “It was hard to get to this place, but I think it’s time.” Does she really, though? “I’ve been dreading making this decision,” the mother of four continued. “I wish it came a lot quicker, but it didn’t. And so I did take the time. It wasn’t easy for me, but I’m glad it’s here now.” Amy and Matt have lived on the farm in Oregon and run it as a business for three decades. Even after their divorce in 2016, they remained on the propery; residing just about 100 yards from each other and still working side by side. So of course this was a monumental decision for Amy. Of course she needed to take her time in making it. We really can’t believe fans gave her a hard time for thinking about the issue from all sides. Matt explained on the finale that he wanted Amy to still feel welcome on the farm — and he hoped she would be part of pumpkin season every year. However, he also agreed that Amy moving on would be best for their family as a whole. “I’m a little surprised Amy is choosing to sell her equity of the farm, but you know, it feels like it might be the right decision,” he told the camera. “I know it’s hard for her; it’s hard for both of us and she’s been raising her kids here for 30 years, but I do think it feels like it’s time to move on.” For his part, Matt referred to farm ownership as a “burden” earlier this season… and he also bought a home in Arizona with girlfriend Caryn Chandler last year. After all these years on the land, he’s expressed little hesitancy in doing something else with his life. “I don’t think any decision was really a good one. I think it’s the best one, not only for right now, but I think in the future for me,” Amy said of why she has finally sold, making it clear she isn’t exactly thrilled with the development. On the finale, she added of her decision: “This farm worked for me because we had two people making it happen. I can’t do it on my own. Everything for me has changed on the farm.” How did Zach Roloff feel about this conclusion? It didn’t come as much of a shock to him, not after the many weeks his mother spent contemplating what to do. It will be harsh and quick, but then the road to recovery, I think will happen faster.” According to Radar Online, however, Oregon property records show both Matt and Amy’s names remain on the deed of the house. We have an update on the tragic death of Troy Dean Shafer. As previously reported, the Nashville Flipped star passed away in late April, taking family members and loved ones by complete shock when he died in his sleep. Shafer was only 38 years old. The cause of death was unknown at the time, with Shafer’s brother telling TMZ that there were no warning signs; nor had his sibling been recently diagnosed with any kind of medical condition or health concern. We now have some more information, however. According to the Erie County Coroner’s Office, the DIY Network house flipper died “due to combined drug toxicity.” The specific drugs in his system were not made public. Shafer, who hosted the program Nashville Flipped beginning in 2016, died on April 28 and was later laid to rest in a private ceremony. A representative for DIY Network released the following statement at the time: The DIY Network family is sorry to hear about the passing of Troy Dean Shafer, a dedicated, driven entrepreneur and restoration expert who was admired by everyone who worked on the series Nashville Flipped. We continue to extend our deepest condolences to Troy’s family and friends during this difficult time. Shafer graduated from Penn State University and had moved from his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania to Nashville a decade ago to actually pursue dreams of becoming a country music star, according to a DIY Network biography. However, his background in building and his talent for restoring homes led him to start a business flipping houses. What an unusual story, right? After flipping a $31,000 East Nashville house with his dad, a homebuilder, Shafter proceeded to launch his own local renovation business, Nashville Flipped. A random meeting with “American Pickers” co-host Mike Wolfe in a Nashville Wal-Mart led to Shafer taking the leap to television, he told The Tennessean ahead of his first Nashville Flipped installment. Nashville Flipped tracked the lives of Troy, his wife Becky and his team of construction managers as they renovated run-down properties and also created custom designs for the owners of historic Tennessee residences. Troy also starred in a pair of pilot episodes for a show titled Restoring Nashville on DIY, which aired in October 2018. Nashville Flipped, meanwhile, premiered in 2016 and had completed two seasons at the time of Shafer’s passing. We continue to mourn his loss and send our condolences to his loved ones. According to Forbes , Rih Rih has banked more than Madonna, Céline Dion and even Beyoncé. It should be no surprise that music is just a small slice of Rihanna’s healthy financial pie. Says Forbes : Famous first as a singer, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, age 31, has since evolved into a style icon and makeup entrepreneur—and soon she’ll be the first black woman in charge of a major luxury fashion house. All those efforts add up to a $600 million fortune, making her the wealthiest female musician in the world, ahead of the likes of Madonna ($570 million), Céline Dion ($450 million) and Beyoncé ($400 million). Most of that comes not from music but from her partnership with LVMH, the French luxury goods giant run by billionaire Bernard Arnault. Rihanna (pronounced Ri-Ann-ah, not Ri-Ah-nah as she recently clarified) and LVMH co-own the makeup brand Fenty Beauty. It launched in September 2017 at Sephora, another LVMH brand, and online at FentyBeauty.com, quickly becoming a viral success.
