For years, the story was that Romeo wore the patch after he and Brandy got into a fight with one another. But during a recent sit down with Nick Cannon, Jones told the real story. Nick Cannon: Obviously everybody knows you was always rocking the eye patch. There was the rumor that Brandy did that is that true? Jerome Jones: Yeah that’s a true story. Nick : Really? Jerome : Yeah, her and Half Pint had got into it. She had a book in her hand, just tossed it back, not thinking anyone or I was that close. Cut my retina, detached it. And the lens to the eye had fell out and Brandon Adams caught it. He was there with us. So, he’s standing there holding my lens. He’s not knowing what’s going on. Marc come in and we were trying to hide it. Marques : I was like ‘What’s going on?’ Rome is on the bed. I’m like what’s going on? Rome is like, ‘Nothing. Nothing.’ Brandy’s like, ‘He don’t want to get me in trouble. Nothing, nothing.’ I immediately went and got Chris. ‘Something happened to Rome.’ Told Chris is was an accident and we took Rome to the hospital. Jones addressed his eye condition in a song from his solo career, “Look Down On Me” from his album Food For Thought. He wrote, “I remember when Brandy Norwood hit me in my eye. I had a detached retina (and) my lens came out, I had to have three eye surgeries. And she thought we’d never be cool again. But I put that on my life, I love her to death. Source: Oishi / SplashNews / Splash News Kanye West’s “Sunday Service” Trademark Was Denied Kanye West and his new album are still MIA, even a year after its initial release date and  a month since the release date that was announced most recently. While avoiding questions about his album, though, Kanye has still been making his rounds with his gospel unit and performing his weekly “Sunday Service” worship series around the globe–He’s hit Atlanta , Wyoming, Detroit , New York, and most recently, Jamaica. Many fans are still confused about what his Sunday Service actually is, comparing it to some weird cult. Plus, the fact that Ye just purchased an entire city in Wyoming doesn’t help his case. Everything surrounding Kanye has been questionable since he sported the red MAGA hat , then wore it again in the presence of the weirdo in office, referring to him as a father figure all while his biological father is 100% alive and well. Even so, it seems like his Trump supporter antics Kanye have’t helped him very much in the legal department. While his wife Kim Kardashian is getting prisoners freed left and right, the US Trademark Office is handing Kanye a very fat “L”. TMZ Reports  that Kanye West can’t own the term for his merchandise and other purposes because someone else already owns it. Ye applied for exclusive ownership of the mark, “Sunday Service,” to slap it on clothing, dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks and tops. But, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office shut him down because, basically … someone’s already working that corner!!! Kanye started selling “Sunday Service” branded merchandise in April, during his Coachella weekend two Sunday Service debut performance, but applied for the trademark later on in July. Makes you wonder if the current owner got smart and applied for that trademark right after Coachella to seize the moment. Yeezy can still fight to appeal the decision, but he probably won’t come out victorious. Whoever dropped the ball on this is probably enduring the coldest Kanye rant of all time as we speak. Derick Dillard on Jim Bob Duggar: He Keeps All the Money and Lets His Kids Starve!

We hate to say we told you so, but — well, we’re about to do exactly that. For months now, rumors of a feud between Jill Duggar and her parents have been circulating non-stop. And earlier this week, we reported that both parties are no longer making much of an effort to conceal their mutual disdain for one another. It all started when the entire Duggar clan went to LA to visit Jinger  — and left Jill at home. (Joy-Anna Duggar didn’t make the trip either, but that’s because she was on an elk hunting trip in Colorado with her husband’s family.) That wasn’t the only recent indication of bad blood, but it’s a pretty major public snub from a family that usually prefers to keep its beefs under wraps. And now, it looks as though Jill’s husband, Derick Dillard, has decided to respond in kind. Way back in March of 2018, a fan on Twitter asked Derick about the rumor that he tried to get TLC to pay for Jill’s hospital bills after she delivered their baby. Now, as we know from the many times that Derick bullied Jazz Jennings on Twitter, the guy is very, very active on the site. But for some reason, he waited until today — 19 months after the question was asked! — to respond to the hospital bill query: “Derick did you ask TLC to pay a hospital bill, if so why?” the fan tweeted last year. “I thought it was fair to ask in negotiating … TLC made lots of money in filming a birth special episode, and they had not offered to pay us anything,” Dillard replied today . “So I thought, at the very least, they could reimburse 5-10K for medical expenses. TLC sure made more than that off of us.”  Now, it seems to us that Jim Bob had slapped a muzzle on Derick and forbidden him to talk about the family’s business relationship with TLC. These days, however, it appears that Derick is fully off the leash. And if that little exchange wasn’t enough to convince you that Der is no longer worried about protecting Jim Bob’s public image, check this out:  “So why does Jim Bob get all the money for the show and doesn’t give any to his children? The actual stars of the show,” the fan followed up, prompting Derick to reply: “I don’t know. You would have to ask him that.” Folks, that’s some serious shade. Sure, it’s not the level of trash talk one typically hears from feuding reality stars, but these are the Duggars we’re talking about. This might be the closest we ever get to to a public declaration of war — and we can’t wait to see hoe Jim Bob responds! Before the festivities commenced, A3C announced their new ownership group – The Gathering Spot, Paul Judge Media Group and Atlanta’s own hip hop icon – 2 Chainz . Source: Theory Communications / Theory Comm The festivities jumped off on Tuesday night with a live performance honoring the 20th Anniversary of iconic rap artist Yasiin Bey ’s,‘ Black on Both Sides’ album. Sprite brought the Fader Fort to Atlanta,  Pink Sweat$ and Lion Babe  hosting as headliner for R&B night. Because the party never ends, Atlanta United hosted the official A3C Kickoff Party at The Gathering Spot later that night. Wednesday at The Fader Fort, guests gathered at Center Stage for their ‘Women in Hip Hop’ concert headlined by our fave hottie  Megan Thee Stallion , CHIKA and Tokyo Jetz.

Dennis Rodman Charged With Battery For Showing Man The Hand Of God, Allegedly

Source: Brian To/WENN.com / WENN Dennis Rodman has been charged with battery for allegedly slapping fire out of a man back in May. Interestingly, it was the victim’s birthday. The former NBA star whose nickname is “The Worm” vehemently denies the claim, though. According to TMZ , the cops says Rodman was kicking it at the Buddha Sky Bar in Delray Beach when he “unprovokedly turned around and smacked” Jeff Soulouque, 30, on May 17. Soulouque says Rodman was apologetic, even offering up a dinner invitation. However, a trip to the hospital revealed a left corneal abrasion and Soulouque went to the cops the next day to file a report. Apparently, there’s a witness who says they saw Rodman slap Soulouque, twice. Rodman pleaded not guilty but is facing a max sentence of a year in jail if convicted. We gotta hear both sides.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Debut Hilariously Censored Baby Pic

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively just shared yet another tantalizing glimpse into their beautiful life together. Only two weeks ago, the celebrity couple welcomed a new baby into their home and hearts. Now Ryan has taken to Twitter to share the first photo of the happy couple’s newborn daughter. Um, almost. Ryan and Blake are one of those celebrity couples who truly value their children’s privacy. The  Detective Pikachu actor clearly wants to show off his newest baby to his throngs of adoring fans. But if you were expecting this moment to be a grand reveal, a la the first scene from  The Lion King , you may be disappointed. Ryan and Blake’s newest progeny is definitely featured in the photo, but Ryan drew a silly smiley face over his daughter’s actual face. It’s a sensible decision, since a two-month-old baby can’t really consent to be photographed. Hats off to Ryan for choosing such an amusing way to respect his child’s privacy. Ryan and Blake have repeatedly shown that they take all their children’s privacy very seriously.  The couple’s other daughters, four-year-old James, and Inez, two, are hardly ever photographed. We only learned that Blake had given birth to a girl a couple weeks ago, months after the fact.  And we still don’t even know the little bundle of joy’s name! Contrast this to any of the Kardashian or Duggar babes, whose faces are plastered all over social media every few days. It’s clear Blake and Ryan have a very different parenting style. Of course, it’s not for us to say how much privacy celebs should give their kids. Maybe True Thompson will one day look back and love that every moment of her childhood was so thoroughly recorded. And perhaps Ryan’s daughter will look back and giggle about how her first photos look like her parents are toting around a Cabbage Patch Kid in lieu of a human child. Either way, fans on Twitter went crazy for the sweet photo. “Such a beautiful family,” wrote one adoring commentor. Ryan is known for his playful sense of humor,  and of course plenty of his fans were totally in on the joke. “Your baby has Blake’s smile,” jeered one cheeky user. Then again, some other fans seemed to not even notice. “A serious post from you!” exclaimed one commentor who should probably look again. “Very rare, but a good one!” the commentor continued. That commentor was likely referring to the actual message of Ryan’s post, which was meant to raise awareness about voting and climate policy. “I love B.C.,” Ryan begins in the post’s caption, inserting the Canadian flag emoji. He continues, “I want my daughters to experience the same natural playground that I grew up in.” “On Oct. 21,” he explains, “the candidate you vote for will SHAPE CLIMATE POLICY.” Ryan goes on to say, “I’m proud of the climate progress made the last 4 years.” He concludes by imploring fans to “Click Elections.ca for voting info.” It’s always great when celebs champion noble causes, and climate policy is one of the most urgent issues of our generation. We’re particularly impressed that this couple managed to share a loving family moment with fans, while advocating for social change at the same time. We hope that generations to come will be able to soak in the wilderness with their loved ones, just like these three. Great job, Ryan and Blake. We’re still waiting on that baby name, though! Elijah Cummings Dead At Age 68
