AllHipHop is reporting that the Maryland native has inked a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. While the terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership allows UMPG to temporarily manage his performing acts rights and mechanical rights with the intention to license his work to third parties. Bobby detailed his excitement in a formal press release. “I’m truly excited to begin my new creative partnership with UMPG. My conversations with Jody Gerson, David Gray, and those who I have met thus far have been inspiring and I know they will be a fantastic help to bringing my creative visions to life.” Executives at Universal Publishing are enthused to be working with the “Keanu Reeves” rapper. “Logic is a supremely creative artist and songwriter with a tremendous work ethic. From his earliest days creating mixtapes, he’s grown into a superstar who has conquered writing, rapping, singing, producing and beyond,” explained David Gray, UMPG Executive Vice President. “Logic is at the top of his game and only going up. Source: Epic Games/Nick Chester Back in December of 2018, the World Health Organization was considerin g adding “gaming disorder” to its list of recognized illnesses, and now the organization officially has decided to go on ahead with the move. Could the Fortnite craze be to blame for all of this? Sure does look like the game is a contributor to this problem. If you are one of those people whose video game playing takes up their entire day, neglect to do routine things like eat and gets highly upset when you take an L you have a severe problem. The 11th revision of WHO’s International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-11) has officially placed “gaming disorder” next to “gambling disorder” in its list “due to addictive behaviors” the disorder brings. The “gaming disorder” addition on the list includes both offline and online gaming that points out habits that can either be both continuous or episodic and is described as such: “Impaired control over gaming […], increasing priority given to gaming to the extent that gaming takes precedence over other life interests and daily activities, and continuation or escalation of gaming despite the occurrence of negative consequences.” In addition to “gaming disorder,” another entry included is “hazardous gaming” as “factor” that could influence a persons health status. “Hazardous gaming refers to a pattern of gaming, either online or offline, that appreciably increases the risk of harmful physical or mental health consequences to the individual or to others around this individual.” “The increased risk may be from the frequency of gaming, from the amount of time spent on these activities, from the neglect of other activities and priorities, from risky behaviors associated with gaming or its context, from the adverse consequences of gaming, or from the combination of these.” You cannot be diagnosed with both illnesses according to WHO. As you can imagine the video game playing community is not too happy about the news. Reps from the global video game industry which includes US, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, South Africa, and Brazil all want WHO to hit the pause button and change its decision. In a statement, the gaming industry feels WHO reached their decision without “sufficiently robust evidence” and is “concerned [WHO] reached their conclusion without the consensus of the academic community.” Despite the decision to include “gaming disorder” on the list being agreed upon, it doesn’t go into effect until January 1, 2022. Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was a real hoot. Kim Richards returned, Lisa Rinna dressed up as Erika Jayne, and there was even some BunnyGate drama. The episode kicked off with Lisa dressing up as Erika, and she nailed it. The purpose of the fancy dress was for Kyle Richards’ Halloween party. When the party was in full swing, Kim walked in. If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online , you know the last time they spoke on the show was during the Season 7 reunion. Kim returned a teddy bear to Rinna she had bought for her grandson. It was down to the way the two women butted heads during that particular season. Kim could not forgive Rinna for telling Eden Sassoon that she (Kim) was not sober and “close to death.” Rinna was shocked because she did not know Kim was going to be at the event. Rinna lapped up playing the version of Erika and brought up BunnyGate. “You know, I wanna say one thing. Kim, you giving Lisa Rinna that bunny was really c–ty,” Rinna said. When Kim did not respond, Rinna continued to repeat it until she got a reaction. “I don’t recall Erika being quite like that,” Kim complained. Kim then turned to Dorit, Kyle, and Camille to complain about Rinna for being silly and “running around in Erika’s ponytails.” Denise Richards appeared out of nowhere and unleashed holy hell on Kim. “I think she looks great… Isn’t it about a f–king stuffed animal that we’re talking about? And you know what, it really hurt her feelings,” the new cast member shouted. “That is a lie,” Kim shot back. “It’s not a f–king lie, Kim. It hurt her feelings!” Denise countered, before trying to tell Kim to “let it go.” Both Kim and Kyle were livid, but the whole thing pushed Kim to find Rinna for a good old sit down. “I’m not looking for a fight, Lisa,” Kim said to her nemesis. In a true twist, Rinna wanted to put the past behind them. Kim wanted an apology, but Rinna felt like Kim owed her one. The two ladies finally put the past behind them and agreed to cut the B.S. It’s not often that these ladies manage to move on from things. At this rate, we’ll still be talking about PuppyGate in ten years. There have been a lot of questions lately about the level of Britney Spears' personal freedom under her father's conservatorship. One major point of contention among fans and the Free Britney movement is the widely held belief that she can't even make her own social media posts. On Tuesday, Britney took to Instagram with a video to shut down that rumor for good. … Maybe. Britney shared a video of herself modeling clothing, posing, dancing, and listening to Rihanna's “Man Down” at home. She follows that fun video with a selfie in an off-the-shoulder white blouse, and then with a shorter video, which we have included in this post. “For those of you who don't think I post my own videos,” Britney begins her new video. “I did this video yesterday,” she says, referring to the glimpse at her dancing. “So you're wrong,” Britney says gently. “But I hope you like it.” This news comes as such a relief to her fans! For years, and especially for these last few months, it has been circulated that Britney does not make her own social media posts. Many fear that she cannot even access her own accounts — that it's all “handled.” In fact, it is still widely believed that Britney's conservatorship includes a stipulation that she not have her own phone. It's certainly wonderful to hear Britney, in her own voice, assure fans that she gets to post her own media. … Or is it? There are still real fears that, due to the power that her father wields over her life, Britney might be encouraged to make statements like this against her will. We all know that celebrities can make statements that they don't really mean. (Just look at Game of Thrones actors telling various cameras that Season 8 is great; it's like a compilation of hostage videos) Did her father instruct her to make this video to throw her own supporters off of the scent? Or, worse, is this Britney quashing rumors (or trumors) about herself in a desperate bid to prove that she can make her own life choices? But let's take a step back from worries, doubts, and conspiracy theories for a moment. If we don't know the truth, doesn't it make a little more sense to err on the side of believing the words that Britney says with her own voice? As we have mentioned before, she has a lot of loved ones who would happily go to bat for her if she asked them to. If he sister or her boyfriend gives an interview about how she's being “held against her will” or whatever, we'd be the first to cry “Free Britney!” But until then, the simplest thing is to believe Britney's own words over rumors and suspicions. Instead of worrying about what is, for the moment, unknowable, let's look on the bright side. Britney is alive, healthy, and beautiful. There are also unconfirmed rumors that Britney is planning to surprise fans with a comeback single in just a few days. She has two amazing, talented sons. She also has an unnecessarily handsome boyfriend, Sam Asghari. There are some very valid concerns about Britney's conservatorship, which has dragged on for 11 long years. Did you know that it was initially only supposed to last for a few days? While we don't advocate harassing Britney or treating her like a meme, we don't think that a little scrutiny of the conservatorship would hurt. There are a lot of people saying that, even if Britney needs a conservatorship for whatever reason, her father is not the best person to maintain it. Hopefully, her loved ones and the courts will make sure that all of the power rests with the right people.
In a word? ROAR! Hannah Brown went ahead and activated Beast Mode on this week’s emotionally-charged episode of The Bachelorette. She also went to the emergency room… But we’ll start with Hannah’s one-on-one date with Connor S., which opened with the suitor believing himself to be the “luckiest guy in the world.” That is, until he received a note from The Bachelorette star that read: “Connor, I’m so sorry but I have to cancel my plans for our date today. I’m not feeling 100 percent. Please come over to my hotel suite to keep me company. Love, Hannah.” Was this just an excuse by Hannah to get Connor alone and strip him naked?!?!? No. After stopping at the grocery store to grab flowers and soup, Connor arrived at Hannah’s hotel to discovered that she had spent time in the hospital after she “basically passed out” and “got pumped with some fluids.” Any fantasies he had about their date came to an end right then and there. The pair did hang out in bed together a bit, however, allowing Connor to reveal that his mother got into a skiing accident when he was 13 and had a subsequent stroke. Seeing how his dad cared for his mom during this awful time gave Connor a model of the marriage he hopes to have one day. It was a powerful story. “That’s really what I aspire to have and the love that I want,” he told Hannah. After sending Connor home so she could rest, Hannah awoke to discover some very romantic sticky notes he had sent here. She then had him called back into her presence, where she gave him a rose (and a kiss!) and the two enjoyed a private performance by Lukas Graham. Luke P., as you might imagine, was a bit crazed curious about Hannah’s condition. The Bachelorette villain/front-runner peppered Connor with questions about her prior to this week’s group date, which involved a group date photo shoot inspired by Hannah’s love for dogs. This time, however, his aggressive did not pay off. “Luke P. stole the show again but in a negative way,” Hannah said in an on-camera interview abou Luke walking her to her dressing room. “I know he’s one of my strongest connections, but it’s annoying when he tries to flaunt our connection in front of the guys. There have been just some little red flags about how he carries himself that bothers me a little bit. “‘It’s like this fine line of: I really think it’s attractive to it’s the most unattractive thing that I’ve ever seen in my life.” A bunch of famous viewers out there have been telling Hannah it should be the latter. Like we said above, though, Hannah is not timid. She can be quite aggressive herself — and she confronted Luke this week’s about his behavior. “I’ve been struggling a little bit with it because I feel like you already think that it’s promised to you and that bothers me a lot,” she said. “And like, I feel like your confidence in this kind of makes me irritated in a way. … I want you to like focus on me and you do that, but you also don’t respect that I do have other relationships here for me and that bothers me. “I like confidence but it’s like cocky in a way. I don’t like that at all. I want it to change.” Did Luke listen closely and take this advice to heart? NOPE! “I’m going to act like the conversation never happened.,” he told the camera. Therefore, he kept interrupting Hannah’s moments with other men… and kept earning her wrath in the process. “I promise I’m going to talk you again but I don’t want to do this right now,” Hannah said when Luke P. made an effort to snag her once more, adding: “Let me talk to everybody, but like I want to call my own shots, okay? [UPDATED] This reaction left Luke very sad. “I can’t stand this process,” he lamented. “Honestly, it’s tough for me. I would like to say I’m a strong guy here and that this is easy, but it’s not. I even had thoughts about leaving here tonight, about going home tonight. “Just because I can’t say that I’m in love with her. I mean, if I did feel that way then I would be ready to get down on one knee.” It’s been three weeks. Dude is starting to legitimately frighten us. Thankfully, he did claim to have gotten the message after Hannah (yet again ) delivered it to him as follows: “I still don’t feel like you’re getting it, okay? You’re not the only relationship that I have a strong connection with and I don’t feel like you’ve respected that even tonight. “So I just need you to work harder and fix this.”” At the end of the date, meanwhile, Hannah gave the group date rose to Peter, with whom she is swapping spit above. During the other group date, on which Jenny Mollen and Jason Biggs offered lessons on female anatomy and having a baby because of course they did… Cam fought for time with Hannah. He did so by constantly breaking into her conversations with the other men, even ovetly standing there while Mike confessed to Hannah that he had gotten an ex pregnant and she lost the baby in the second trimester. Yikes, right? But Cam didn’t care about this hearbreaking story — he had his very own to tell. “If we’re going to talk about bold gestures, I actually had to resign from my job,” Cam told Hannah. “I want you to know that I chose to be here for you and I don’t want to let any other guys get in the way of that.” View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Stars: Where Are They Now? At the tailgate party (which awesomely replaced the cocktail party), Cam pulled Hannah aside and said his piece: “Back in the year 2014 I was getting off work and all of a sudden my right leg locked up on me. “And all of a sudden I was running a fever and they had to rush me to the hospital. Essentially, they told me that I need to get an amputation. So life really tried to beat me down. “The day before I got surgery, I got a call from my dad that my grandma had passed away. The most recent surgery that I had [in] November of 2017 hit me the hardest because I actually had a 10-month-old puppy at the time that I was super close to that I had to re-home.” Sounds terrible, right? Not to Mike. He called total BS on Cam and accused him of angling for a “pity rose.” When Hannah questioned Cam about the validity of his story and his intentions, Cam alleged: “I would never compromise the integrity of what I’ve been through for a pity rose. Like, this is a serious thing.” But he also confessed to writing weird letters to the other suitors because he thought he was gonna be sent home. “This just feels really schemey and slimy to me,” Hannah said in response. “It just feels really, really calculated. I’m having a hard time right now and I need to think about it.” After mulling over her decision, Hannah sent Cam home at the rose ceremony, along with Jonathan and Joey. Tyler G. also “had to leave” earlier, Hannah disclosed mysteriously, although she gave no reason as to why he departed.
