At times, the current season of Vanderpump Rules has felt like the final episodes of a long-running high school drama. The characters we’ve watched party, cheat, fight, and generate endless drama for the past several years now appear much too old for such shenanigans, and the realization that it’s time for a change is bittersweet. Sure, it’s nice to see the cast finally grow up, especially since some of them are beginning to show physical signs of age, and dancing on a bar while guzzling tequila straight from the bottle is becoming a rather sad sight. (On high school dramas, this is a result of Hollywood’s tendency to cast 25-year-olds as freshmen. On Vanderpump , it’s a consequence of the fact that most of the cast was already in their thirties when the show premiered back in 2013.) But at the same time, we’re more than a little bummed that we’ll no longer be able to bear witness to all that debauchery. As they approach their middle years, the most enlightened grownups realize that if you cling to youth, the consolations of aging — wisdom, stability, a greater sense of self — are lost to you. And astonishingly, it seems no one in the Vanderpump cast is more aware of this fact than Mr. Jax Taylor. One of the recurring themes of this season is the notion that Taylor has changed his ways . And while we counted ourselves among the skeptics at first, it now looks as though Taylor may have been speaking the truth when he stated that his father’s death had caused him to see the light. For one thing, Jax is soon to marry Brittany Cartwright . The wedding will take place in June, and will be featured on the eighth season of Vanderpump . So fans have quite a wait ahead of them — and it seems many are convinced that Jax and Brittany were themselves unable to wait for their wedding night. There’s a widespread rumor on social media that Cartwright is already knocked up with Taylor’s baby. And ironically, comments the couple recently made to the contrary have only added fuel to the fire. “I’m definitely eager to have kids and Jax is eager to have kids. He’ll be 40 two weeks after [the wedding]. I’m 30, we’re ready. We’re buying a house,” Brittany recently told Us Weekly . “When it happens it happens. We’re not going to be very careful. We’re gonna let it come with God’s grace, and he’ll give us a baby when [it’s] ready.” Jax echoed the sentiment saying he can’t wait to become a father. “We’ve been together for four years and my whole life has been a party, so I’ve done everything I wanted to do. I’m ready for the next step,” Taylor told the magazine. “I’m ready to have kids. I’m ready to be part of the PTA, soccer dad, soccer mom, gymnastics coach, whatever. That’s my next job.” Many fans believe these remarks are Jax and Brittany’s way of bracing the public for a pregnancy announcement — but we feel they’re reading too much into it. Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff was married to Matt Roloff for 27 years, but she seems excited to get hitched again. Or at least open to the idea. Boyfriend Chris Marek, however, seems a little … lukewarm at best when it comes to marriage. Last night on an all-new Little People, Big World , Amy and Chris went on a camping trip with their friends Ron and Beth. Ron and Beth, Chris explains, got together around the same time, and “are trying to figure out what the future looks like.” “They’ve discussed marriage and living together, and they’re at that point where they’re trying to work that out.” Which is awkward for Chris. Because … Well, it’s been two and a half years of dating, and Amy is getting to the point where she’s interested in a long-term commitment. “I met Matt at a conference. I saw him four times, [then] we were married,” she says of her ex-husband, with whom she has four kids. “So dating Chris, I’m calling up my girlfriends and I’m like, ‘What is dating?! I don’t even know what the hell that is.” Chris, when asked about marriage? “I’ve seen a lot of failed marriages, a lot of divorces, in my family. All my siblings, my mother,” he says. “I mean, I saw a lot of examples of people that loved each other but could not live with each other.” “But I’m certainly not against marriage,” Marek adds. “I never thought I’d be this age and still single.” “I’m glad to see that you’re not against marriage, because that would be a problem,” Amy responded. Later, Amy told the TLC reality show’s cameras that getting married is still “very, very important” to her. “Even though I’m divorced, I still value and will hold up high the whole concept, the reason, the purpose,” she said. “And if by chance I get to do that again, I would still put everything that I can, as best as I can, to make it work.” Nice to see one divorce hasn’t clouded her views on future relationships at what is clearly a different phase of life. Apparently, her legal team is petitioning the court to allow her to enroll in a mental health program. “According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, an attorney for the former ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star is petitioning the court in her child abuse case to allow Tommie to get treatment for a serious mental illness. She says she was diagnosed before or around the same time as she was charged with child abuse, and her condition is a significant part of her case,” TMZ reports. “Tommie says she’s willing to meet a long list of requirements to enter the program, such as staying sober, submitting to random drug testing and attending self-help meetings,” she continued. “It’s the first step in a month-long process … applications are considered by a committee, which includes a prosecutor, and it will take about 30 days to decide Tommie’s fate. While Tommie doesn’t reveal her specific diagnosis in the docs … when she sat down with our Raquel Harper for a 2016 episode of “Raq Rants,” Tommie said she was bipolar.” Tommie Lee’s extensive rap sheet is well-documented , so we’re hoping this is the break she needs to finally get herself together, stay out of jail, and do right by her family. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. We have another update on the tragic death of Nipsey Hussle. TMZ has obtained her official death certificate for the late rapper, which lists his cause of death as gunshot wounds to the head and torso . This piece of information was already known, of course, but the legal document does add another tidbit that may be of interest. According to the certificate, Hussle was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. on March 31, 35 minutes after he was gunned down. The culprit strongly appears to be a man named Eric Holder, as surveillance camera footage clearly depicts Holder walking up to Hussle on the afternoon in question and opening fire. As previously reported, Holder walked away after putting one or two bullets in the artist… only for Hussle to actually say a few words to his assailant . Realizing the rapper was still alive, Holder then quickly circled back, shot Hussle again, kicked him and sprinted away to a nearby alley where a getaway car was waiting for him. Holder, who was subsequently arrested, is being held on $5 million bond on charges of murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. For those interested: Nipsey’s death certificate lists his occupation as an artist and entrepreneur. It also says he was never married at the time of his death and worked in the entertainment and real estate industries. But Hussle was very seriously involved with actress Lauren London, with whom he shared a two-year old daughter. In the wake of this murder, London wrote the following on Instagram : “I am completely loss. I’ve lost my best friend. My sanctuary. My protector. My soul…. I’m lost without you. We are lost without you babe. I have no words.” The stars were together for five years at the time of Hussle’s homicide. This devastating murder has sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood, along with nearly every other industry. Celebrities such as Steph Curry, LeBron James, Rihanna and Drake have all posted tributes to the slain superstar . Hussle grew up in a dangerous, violent section of Los Angeles… but had dedicated his life to pursuing avenues of peace and to bringing people together; even rival gangs. Candlelight vigils have been held across the globe and a huge memorial service will be held at Staples Center Thursday. It will be open to the public. While it's her boyfriend, Colin Kaepernick, who's duly credited as a civil rights icon, many Teen Mom 2 fans are currently praising MTV personality Nessa as a hero. That's because Nessa locked horns with Jenelle Evans at the taping of this year's TM2 reunion special, and while the episode has yet to air, the host is already being applauded for calling Jenelle out on her bigoted nonsense. And MTV execs are likely enjoying all the free hype that Nessa generated by taking Evans to task for criticizing Kaepernick and the Black Lives Matter movement on social media. Now, it seems Jenelle thinks her bosses were in on this thing from the beginning, and she believes the confrontation was their idea. In response, she's threatening to quit , just like she always does. But this time, there's reason to believe she might make good on her promise. Take a look: 1. Angry Evans Make no mistake, Jenelle is PISSED about the way things went down at the reunion. 2. Sticking To Her Guns And now, it seems she might be willing to quit the show that made her famous just to prove a point. 3.
