The result, “I’m On One,” Khaled’s latest single featuring Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and, of course, Drake. “Khaled waited, like, forever and a day. I was taking my sweet time trying to craft this piece of music because I knew he needed a special moment,” Drizzy told MTV News at the song’s video shoot in Miami. “When I did it, I was like, ‘OK, it’s gotta be me, Ross and Wayne.’ That’s the first time anybody has ever heard all three of us on a record.” After leaking the song onto the Internet on May 12, Khaled and company were out shooting the video for “I’m On One” this past weekend — just 15 days later — and that fact isn’t lost on Drake. “To be out here shooting a video, it’s amazing how things work nowadays,” he said. “I used to make music and never think anyone was gonna hear it, now I make music and two weeks later, we’re shooting crazy videos in Miami, living the life.” Aside from working with Wayne, who Drake is signed to and frequently shows appreciation for, the Toronto-born rapper spoke on his admiration for his “brother” Rozay. “That’s one of my favorite people to rap with in the world,” Drizzy said. “That’s family the same way YM is family, the same way that OVO is family,” he said, name-checking his Young Money and October’s Very Own teams. “Ross know what it is, MMG all day, I hold that close to my heart.” What do you think of “I’m On One”? By Aly Semigran Dicky Eklund and Christian Bale Photo: TBS Christian Bale continued his awards-season domination Sunday night (January 30) at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, as he emerged victorious in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in “The Fighter.” While heading to the podium to accept a statue has been nothing new for Bale over the past few weeks, things were a little different this time as the real-life Dicky Eklund joined him onstage in an unexpected moment. (“Fighter” star/producer Mark Wahlberg revealed moments later that he encouraged Eklund to go up if Bale won.) After Bale reached the mic to thank voters, Eklund appeared and put his arm around the actor and embraced him with a handshake and a hug. “Dicky! All right!” a surprised Bale said. “This is the original quacker right here!” Eklund, wearing a black tux and a blue bow tie, congratulated Bale and told him, “Good job, Christian.” Bale reciprocated the feelings and told Eklund, “Thank you, mate. And according to producer Bryan-Michael Cox, it may just happen. This news comes just weeks after Breezy’s surprise onstage appearance during Usher’s set at Reggae SumFest. Speculation began when Cox revealed during Jermaine Dupri’s “Living the Life” YouTube show that the singers are planning to tour together. “Usher and the boy Chris Brown are going on tour, y’all know that, right?” Cox said. Dupri immediately replied, “They might not know that.” But after the cat was let out of the bag, Cox admitted, “I might’ve just gave y’all some exclusive sh–.” Once word spread that that Usher and Breezy might be planning a co-headlining tour, the trio took to Twitter to respond to the hype. Responding to a fellow songwriter, Cox seemed to backpedal his revelation when he tweeted , “@rchonore86 I was drunk. Lol. Talking crazy. I don’t know for a fact that THAT tour is happening.
