LiLo has been close to Walters for years and Barbara reached out to her about doing an interview about her new film Liz & Dick – before this current family drama. Lohan’s epic fight with mom Dina and possible Michael Lohan restraining order have dominated headlines of late, but may be off the table or close to it here. The actress fears sit-down interviews and questions she’s not prepared for, but insiders say Lindsay Lohan still trusts Barbara not to take things too far. Their interview will occur sometime in the next few weeks and focus on the parallels between the lives of Lindsay Lohan and Elizabeth Taylor . Is Lindsay Lohan seeking a restraining order against her dad Michael Lohan? Dina Lohan, Lindsay’s mom and Mike’s ex-wife, wants her to like yesterday. Dina’s war with Michael – a nuclear situation that trumps last week’s fight with Lindsay – has reached scored earth proportions, and she’s urging Lindsay to take her side. And to ask a judge for the protection order to stop her often-estranged father from having any contact with her whatsoever – phone calls, texts, emails, anything. Dina Lohan’s push to legally freeze out MiLo comes on the heels of Lindsay’s tearful statement that Michael is dead to her now after selling her out last week. Lindsay may not be willing to go that far, however. The actress reportedly thinks the restraining order is too extreme, and isn’t exactly eager to show up and testify in court in order to obtain one. Lindsay Lohan has had a rough couple of months/years/decades. It’s no surprise that Claus Hjelmbak, who was present the night she alleges she was assaulted by Christian LaBella , says “she’s not in a good place.” However, “it’s not because of health issues,” he said. “She’s not in a good place, because people around her just keep throwing her under the bus.” According to Hjelmbak, LaBella, who Lohan hung out with at the W Hotel, didn’t know Hjelmbak or Lohan before that night. So how’d he get with their crew? “Lindsay is a sweet girl and is very open and nice when people come over and talk,” he explained. “In this case, she thought it was somebody her friends know.” All was well until LaBella started taking Lindsay Lohan photos on his cell phone. “She was visibly shaken already at that point. She was shocked. You are in a private space and realize someone has documented the entire night on the phone.” After that was when the alleged altercation happened. Hjelmbak said there were no drugs involved, and he was unsure if Lohan had even had “a drink or two.” LaBella was arrested for assault, but quickly released due to lack of evidence that a crime was actually committed, drawing a rebuke from Lindsay’s rep. Whatever happened that night, how will LiLo bounce back? “Look at her art,” Hjelmbak urged fans. “And stop focusing so much on her private life. That would be a big help to her getting back to a really good place.” If only she didn’t make that near-impossible.
Maybe Dina Lohan isn’t totally clueless after all. The embarrassment of a mother says she knows she looked bad on Dr. Phil this past week, but at the same time, insists that’s not the real her and wants a chance to make good. No word if Dr. Phil has finished shaking his head yet after this week, let alone considered mama Lohan’s offer to return to the studio.
I can’t believe they’re still making Scary Movies. Here is Lindsay Lohan on the set of Scary Movie 5 looking like a cheap call girl in old lady negligee. The cigarette is a nice touch; it ties the whole ensemble together. Anyways, it’s nice to see her have the opportunity to utilize her “talents” once again.
