Back on the set of her new movie Liz & Dick the same day, Lohan – whose rep said she suffered from exhaustion and dehydration – was laughing it off. “Note to self…” the 25-year-old actress Tweeted afterward. “After working 85 hours in 4 days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion & 7 paramedics MIGHT show up @ your door.” “Hopefully they’re cute. Otherwise it would be a real letdown.” Hopefully they were indeed. Well played, Lindsay Lohan . Her rep Steve Honig said that Lohan “was examined and is fine” and said her condition was due to her “grueling schedule” on set of the Lifetime movie. She had originally told responding officers she was sitting in the passenger seat, with her assistant behind the wheel, which supposedly didn’t corroborate with the story her assistant told police. Uh-oh. Tuesday, June 12 : Lohan’s name is attached to “The Canyons,” a Hollywood drama from writer Bret Easton Ellis that will also feature adult-film star James Deen. I just read a story that Lohan was found unconscious in her hotel room and rushed to the hospital…and I am not happy about this…. Since the beginning of the site, I have been up on Lohan. She has been the single most important celebrity to me. After years of pretending to stalk her, teasing her, trying to seduce her, we became texting buddies for a few months, hung out once three years ago, and that was the end of that….at least on her end…. For the last three years, I have been on her ass, trying to win her back, trying to save her, cuz I truly believe she can be greatness…she just needs me to K-Fed her and keep her in line, but she wasn’t having it….and never answered….except for the above message last week after the car accident… Well, I just found out she was found unconscious in her hotel room and rushed to the hospital…and I legitimately….felt sad. If Lohan dies part of DrunkenStepfather dies….what a fucking waste of amazing…. I generally mock celebrity death….but I don’t mock Lohan….or her death…even if she doesn’t really respect life or her talent as much as she should….I get it, she’s a tormented soul…had a rough life…but it is so easy to fix… I just hope she is ok…seriously….if not RIP IN ADVANCE motherfucker. Screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis announces that Lohan will be starring in the Hollywood drama, set to begin filming this summer. Deen is best known for his work in adult films. The film will be directed by Paul Schrader. “And I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in THE CANYONS by BEE.” Filming for “The Canyons” will begin next month. Currently Lohan is shooting the Lifetime Elizabeth Taylor biopic, “Liz & Dick,” and is also embroiled in a new spat of troubles tied to an L.A.-area car accident . However, Ellis remained optimistic about the casting when he added, “Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it.” A rep for the actress could not confirm that Lohan would be appearing the flick when MTV News reached out for comment. According to a poster for the film , the tagline is “It’s not ‘The Hills,’ ” a reference to the popular MTV reality show that followed the glamorized lives of Lauren Conrad and her pals. This is expected to be a grittier take on young people and their struggles in Hollywood. Indiewire reports that Deen’s Christian is a “trust fund kid, power player and major manipulator, who is a film producer that enjoys filming his own three-way sex sessions.” Meanwhile, Lohan’s ex-model character, Tara, is his girlfriend who “has sold her pride for the material comforts Christian can provide.” Three other roles remain uncast: bartender and wannabe actor Ryan, Ryan’s employee and fellow actor Gina, and former actress/yoga instructor Lindsay, who is carrying on an affair with Christian. “The Canyons” recently got funded through a Kickstarter initiative. Lindsay Lohan lied to police Friday, and not just about her brakes failing . The hot mess initially told them she was NOT driving the Porsche that she totaled when she slammed into a semi on the Pacific Coast Highway north of L.A. As a result, her probation could be revoked … what else is new. When Lindsay was in the hospital getting checked out after the serious car accident , cops from the Santa Monica Police Department paid a visit. Lindsay told police she was a passenger in the Porsche and her assistant was driving. However, the assistant said that Lohan was behind the wheel. Police are writing up a report that will include Lindsay’s lie. It’s unclear why she would lie … but she could be screwed. This is significant because it’s a crime to provide false information to a police officer, especially if it impedes an active criminal investigation, and doing so could trigger a probation violation in her shoplifting case. That could send her back to jail … again. Several eyewitnesses at the scene say Lindsay and her assistant both got out on the passenger side, which means Lindsay had to climb over the console. Lohan appears to have concocted the lie almost immediately after impact. Yep, it’s happening. A week and change after finding their Dick Burton among True Blood ‘s werewolf population, Lindsay Lohan and the makers of Lifetime’s Liz & Dick have released the first production image from the romance-biopic. And, well… it’s kind of shockingly classy. If you squint, LiLo and Grant Bowler actually kinda sorta look like the iconic couple. Anyone else pleasantly surprised? According to E! , who’s documenting La Lohan’s would-be comeback with the same aplomb as it did her shaky past few years, the still was shot last week while filming officially began today. Over to producer Larry Thompson for the oversharing update: Thompson tells E! News that the first scenes were shot this morning starting around 9:30 AM and they were of Liz and Dick on a yacht (docked at Marina del Rey). He also reveals that the cast was in good spirits: “A little first-day jitters for everyone, but it went well,” he revealed, while adding that Lindsay was in a good mood as well. I’m still getting over how much Lohan resembles Taylor, even at an angle and in profile and doused in heavy eye make-up. Then again, this is the very first day of filming , people. If you were thinking that a reality TV mash-up of NBC’s Smash and Disney’s High School Musical would be great … you have odd, specific taste in entertainment. Dina Lohan apparently agrees with you, though. For reasons unknown, someone signed her to produce an unsold documentary series along those very lines. Lohan’s new project promises to chronicle the real-life journey of launching a Broadway musical from “page to stage,” as well as all the behind-the-scenes drama. “There is nothing more important to me than a parent standing behind their child and helping them fulfill their dreams,” Dina told Celebuzz , apparently without irony. Production for the series begins soon and will run through the summer. It will take the audience “behind the scenes of The White Plains (N.Y.) Performing Arts Center’s theatre company,” with producers promising to take the audience “on a roller coaster adventure.” We absolutely can not wait.
