Gerard Butler Cracks Walnut With Butt, Pours Ice Down Pants

Gerard Butler is a man of many interesting talents. He proved this and then some on a visit to the German talk show Wetten, dass..? First, he found himself imitating his guest, a professional nut cracker. He decided, hilariously, to try to crack nuts with his rear end – one of his best features – but could only break two of them and could not stop laughing. The host then recalled an anecdote Butler once offered regarding pouring ice down his pants during a sweltering movie shoot, and begged him to reenact it. Reluctantly, Butler obliged. You gotta watch: Gerard Butler on Wetten, dass..?

Blackhawks Fan Catches Stanley Cup Fever, Earns Facebook Fame With Math Test Answer

Third grader Maggie Ciara has a serious case of Stanley Cup fever, as evidenced by an answer the Chicago Blackhawks fan put on a recent math test. The question: “What is 9 times 9?” The answer? Hossa. Marian Hossa wears No. 81 for her favorite NHL team. As you can see, her Oak Lawn, Ill., teacher was baffled. What is this? The best part? After seeing that she didn’t get it, Maggie clarified it for her teacher, Christine Mech … who gave her full credit and an A+ overall. “Maggie is a very clever girl,” said Mech, who actually is a Blackhawks fan herself. “I love how Maggie has a sense of humor. We had a little bit of a laugh afterward.” Also awesome? After Maggie’s mom, Diane, posted a photo of the exam on Facebook, the NHL team itself “Liked” it and posted it on its official page too. Hockey. It’s always the right answer. Although the numbers aren’t looking quite as good for Chicago, which trails Detroit 3-1 in the conference semifinals.

Taylor Swift Cat Meme: Adorable!

Taylor Swift is getting into the meme craze. And the online cat craze as well. The singer Tweeted a photo of her kitten this week, including with the shot of Meredith and a message that reads: “USE YOUR STOMACH AS A PILLOW.” “Found her sleeping like this,” Swift wrote. “No idea how she didn’t suffocate on her own fur.” The pet’s full moniker is Meredith Grey and, yes, she’s named after Ellen Pompeo’s Grey’s Anatomy character. Will this meme grow as viral as McKayla Maroney not being impressed by things or as popular as Clint Eastwood and his Eastwooding ? Probably not. But it’s very cute!

Jimmy Kimmel Asks Coachella Attendees About Bands That Do Not Exist

Jimmy Kimmel took his recurring “Lie Witness News” segment to Coachella last weekend, in an effort to get the perspective of festival-goers on various bands. Ones that do not actually exist. Jimmy Kimmel ‘Lie Witness News’ at Coachella “Music fans love knowing about bands no one else has heard of,” he dryly noted, then decided to take this idea to an entirely different, absurd level. “So we sent a camera crew to Coachella, and we asked people walking into the venue what they thought about a bunch of bands whose names we made up.” Among the awesome band names Kimmel and his correspondent invented: Dr. Shlomo & G.I. Clinic, The Chelsea Clintons and Get The F**k Out of My Pool. Two Door Cinema Club is actually real, however, to make it even more confusing.
