Emily Maynard Confirms Split with Brad Womack

Remove that .01% from the equation , readers: Emily Maynard and Brad Womack are most definitely over. “We’re no longer engaged,” Maynard says in the latest issue of People . The statement came just minutes after she taped an interview with Chris Harrison that will air on the July 11 episode of The Bachelorette . With speculation growing every week over Emily and Brad’s status, Maynard says she’s confirming the couple’s split now because she wants her life with six-year-old daughter, Ricki to “get back to normal.” Womack, who will NOT appear on camera next month with Maynard and Harrison, also told People he and Emily were over, sating: “The demise of our relationship was completely my fault.” But Emily isn’t interested in assigning blame: “Just because we love each other doesn’t mean we’re right for each other,” she says. What a boring, mature, staged break-up. Where are the Jake and Vienna-like fireworks?!? [Photo: WENN.com]

Pippa Middleton and Alex Loudon: Spotted at Wimbledon!

While her sister is featured on the latest Newsweek cover walking alongside Princess Diana, Pippa Middleton is making headlines for some strolling of her own this week. Despite rumors of a split, and even more ridiculous rumors that she’s close with Prince Harry , Pippa attended Wimbledon with long-time boyfriend Alex Loudon yesterday. She looked as cute, and as happy, as ever: Inside the stadium of the tennis tournament, witnesses say the pair exchanged smiles and talked closely as they watched the matches alongside Pippa’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. Early last Friday morning, Pippa was also snapped leaving Loudon’s London apartment. You know what that means, right? We officially hate Loudon even more than we hate Shia LeBeouf . Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Says ‘Transformers’ Will Be First 3-D Movie She’s Seen

‘I have never seen a movie in 3-D,’ ‘Dark of the Moon’ actress reveals to MTV News. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” Photo: Paramount In case you need more reason to go see “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” this week, in addition to crazy amped-up action and a new lovely leading lady, the third robot-tastic installment is in 3-D. And it wasn’t converted in postproduction, like a few of the recent 3-D films out there. Director Michael Bay insisted that his first foray into the three-dimensional medium be as authentic and technologically advanced as possible. Lately there has definitely been a bit of 3-D fatigue in the air. When MTV News caught up with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at the film’s worldwide premiere in Moscow recently, we asked for her thoughts on the 3-D element of “Dark of the Moon.” “I will be the judge of that after I see this film, because I have never seen a movie in 3-D,” she revealed. “When Michael told me it was going to be in 3-D, I said, ‘Right, I’m going to wait,’ and now we’re here, we’re at the premiere stage and I’m going to wait until [I’m in] London and see it with my family.” So when Whiteley finally watches the 3-D version of the film with her family and friends, will she be watching herself on the big screen or watching her family’s reactions? “I’m going to be watching them watching me,” she said with a laugh. Bay has made a big deal of the fact that he initially had a lot of reservations about 3-D, explaining that his buddy director James Cameron finally convinced him to go for it with this film. “[James Cameron], at the last minute, goes, ‘Mike, come on,’ ” Bay recalled , imitating the “Avatar” director’s enthusiasm with a slightly deep and gravelly inflection in his voice. “This is like my idol. He goes, ‘Mike, come on, we’ve done everything.’ I’m thinking, ‘I haven’t done everything.’ ” Cameron pushed him to try out this “new toy,” and despite all the headaches that were added to the filmmaking process with shooting in 3-D, he’s glad he did it. “3-D, it’s pretty great when you see these robots interact in the space,” Bay said. Pottermore: Our Top-Five Wish List For J.K. Rowling’s New Site

‘Harry Potter’ author’s site is still cloaked in mystery, but there are a few things we’d like to see on her Web creation. By Kara Warner J.K. Rowling Photo: Daniel Barry/Getty Images There’s a lot of “Harry Potter”-related excitement going around these days, what with the release of the eighth and final film, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” in just a few weeks, and our own Harry Potter World Cup heating up. And on Thursday morning (June 23) in London, “Potter” creator J.K. Rowling made an official announcement about the mysterious “Pottermore” website she introduced last week. The site will deliver a free, online reading experience including, according to a press release, “extensive new material about the characters, places and objects in the much-loved stories” and a digital capability in which “the storyline will be brought to life with sumptuous newly commissioned illustrations and interactive ‘Moments’ through which you can navigate.” “[It’s] a way I can be creative in a medium that didn’t exist when I started the books back in 1990,” Rowling told reporters during the press conference. That’s exciting stuff for “Potter” fans, considering the books have long since been completed and the final film hits theaters this summer. But at this point, with no Muggle having yet explored the site, we don’t know exactly what Pottermore will offer. Here are five things we hope we can see and do while playing in Rowling’s latest fantastical creation — now or in the future. Open Class/Character Development System No matter your house, heritage or O.W.L. scores, with the appropriate amount of training or playing time, you too can become an esteemed member of the wizarding community. No matter how basic or inexperienced you are when you begin exploring “Pottermore,” there should be opportunities for advancement and/or shifting skill sets. If you want to be an animagus, an auror, a healer, or even a professional Quidditch player, you need only put in the time. Quidditch Speaking of professional Quidditch players, there ought to be a recreational area in “Pottermore” where characters learn, play and eventually compete against one another at the hugely popular game. Instead of pitting competitors and teams against one another based solely on their houses, it would be great for players to be able to assemble themselves into teams. Virtual Place to Unwind, Be Entertained One of the main reasons Rowling’s masterworks have so many millions of fans, is because she’s created a world so magical and alluring, that we all dream of apparating into the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer or taking a walk through Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes. It would be great if Pottermore featured a competition-free area for socializing in and around virtual versions of Rowling’s most beloved fictional shops and assorted hotspots. Annual “Pottermore” Gatherings Although Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter is currently a perfect place to mix and mingle with fellow Potterphiles, we would love an annual event in the vein of GenCon or Comic-Con, where fans from all over the world meet to share in everything Harry Potter. In addition to pointed panel discussions on a variety of subjects, why not also host a few live action duels in the spirit of the tri-wizard tournament? Maybe an attempt at a grounded game of Quidditch or two? Special Guest Stars And/Or Participants It’s nearly impossible to assemble the entire “Harry Potter” film casts for “Pottermore” participation, but perhaps before they all move on from their Potter associations the actors can record special interactive greetings and messages, to be carefully placed throughout “Pottermore”? Maybe Daniel Radcliffe and company can pre-record video messages of encouragement for players? Alan Rickman could instruct a brief beginner-level Defense Against the Dark Arts Class? We’ll even settle for video clips from the movies popping up every now and again. Also, if Rowling is taking the time to make this special announcement, we’re hoping she’s going to stay involved enough that she’ll consider recording some messages as well. So what did we miss? What do you want from Pottermore? Tell us in the comments! Maria Fowler Gives Us A Flash

Here’s busty British glamour model Maria Fowler out on the town in London the other night, doing what all the best British glamour models do, getting drunk and flashing inappropriate parts of their bodies. I like it. I don’t know what she’s flashing in that first shot, I’m having trouble making it out, it’s either a terrible tattoo or some sort of flare up. Either way I’m not digging it. more pictures of Maria Fowler here

Chris Brown Comeback Inspires Yung Joc On New Mixtape

‘There are a lot of cats that people say it’s over for,’ rapper tells Mixtape Daily. By Rob Markman Yung Joc’s Ready to Fly Photo: Swagg Entertainment Mixtape Daily Main Pick Artist : Yung Joc Representing : Atlanta Mixtape : Ready to Fly Real Spit : Yung Joc knows what his doubters think of him, but on his latest mixtape, Ready to Fly, the Atlanta rapper aims to change the public perception that he has fallen off. “I think this mixtape is definitely one of those ones that people should definitely check out, especially for the naysayers that’s like, ‘It’s over for that guy.’ That’s cool too. There are a lot of cats that people say it’s over for,” Joc told Mixtape Daily before likening himself to another phoenix-from-the-ashes pop star. “I remember on my last mixtape, Grind Flu, I got a song with Chris Brown. I remember people were like, ‘Why you got Chris on there? It’s over for him.’ Look at him now.” Joc, who rose to prominence after his Grammy-nominated debut single “It’s Goin’ Down,” helped kick-start hip-hop’s snap craze. The track even caught the attention of actor Tom Cruise, who famously did the song’s accompanying motorcycle dance during a BET broadcast. Despite earning a gold plaque for his 2006 Yung Joc City album and multiplatinum credits for his single, Joc seemed to lose steam and hasn’t released an album since his 2007 sophomore effort, Hustlenomics. Not that he’s completely disappeared: Joc appeared on R&B singer Slim’s 2008 single “So Fly” and alongside Diddy a year later on Day26’s “Imma Put It on Her.” “It’s just funny how people jump ship so fast. It don’t take but a little buzz, a little heat up under that frying pan to heat things up, and people are right back on the bandwagon,” Joc said. “Hopefully that’s what this mixtape will do, because I’m gonna keep coming, dropping video after video.” For Ready to Fly ‘s cover, Joc drew inspiration from the Notorious B.I.G.’s 1994 classic debut Ready to Die, swapping out the Biggie baby for a picture of himself. While Joc paid homage on the cover, Ready to Fly isn’t all about B.I.G.; it’s a nod to Joc’s Southern roots and original Atlanta sound — which he never abandoned. DJ Sense and DJ Demp host the tape, while rappers like Tity Boi , Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane and 8Ball make appearances. Will it be Joc’s big comeback? Only time will tell, but so far, things sounds pretty fly. Joints to Check For

‘Glee’ Star Cory Monteith Teases ‘Big Story Line’

‘I think that Finn has a lot of struggle left for him,’ he tells MTV News of what fan can expect from season three. By Christina Garibaldi Cory Monteith Photo: MTV News “Glee” fans still have a few more months to go before the kickoff of season three, when it’s been rumored that our favorite characters will graduate from McKinley High. But don’t ask the cast what’s in store for the upcoming season, because creator Ryan Murphy is apparently keeping the plotlines very much a secret. “I don’t know where it’s going to go,” Cory Monteith told MTV News about his character, Finn. “He’s got a big story line with Rachel, obviously, but it should be interesting to see how he develops.” Monteith, who also stars in the upcoming flick “Monte Carlo” with Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester, is hoping things get a bit more complicated for the New Directions singer. “I think the harder it is for him, the better, you know?” Monteith said. “I think Finn has a lot of growing up to do and I think that Finn has a lot of struggle left for him. I think dealing with a lot of his dad stuff, the passing of his father and dealing with the unrequited love all of a sudden from Rachel, I think the more trouble he goes through, the more interesting it is for me as an actor.” For now, Monteith and his TV co-stars are keeping busy on the Glee Live! In Concert! Tour . The cast just wrapped up the northern America leg of the tour and are gearing up to take their act overseas; they’ll play Manchester’s MEN Arena this week before moving on to London for seven shows at the O2 Arena. “It’s an overwhelming experience every night,” Montieth told us. “I suspect that England is going to be incredible as well. We are going over to the U.K., playing England and Ireland, so I think that’s going to be incredible.” Regardless of where Monteith performs, he’s just excited to get out there for all of his fans. “It’s so rare that we get to connect with our audience, which is what we’re doing,” Monteith said of the live shows. “We’re literally touching them, grabbing their hands, so it’s a great experience.” But life on the road must get a bit tiring, so we wondered whether the castmembers ever get sick of one another. “No, it’s like a very well assembled family,” Monteith said. “Like, you can’t choose your family, but it’s like a well-chosen family and we seem to complement each other really well. We are all quite different from one another so we get along really well.” Did you catch the “Glee” cast live on tour? Tell us about it in the comments! Amy Winehouse Falls Over, Forgets Words, And Mumbles Her First Performance Out Of Rehab [Video]

Despite several reports of Amy Winehouse cleaning up her act and performing a near flawless set in London’s Club 100 a few days ago , it seems like she has left way to early out of rehab. At the start of her European tour in Belgrade’s Kalemegdan Park, Amy appeared on stage opening with “Just Friends,” and showed the same Amy we’ve seen for awhile. Attempting to take off her shoes she immediately falls over, gets back up stumbles around, and finally mumbles some words to the song and attempts to shoutout her band members where she forgets most of their names.
