British Woman Dies From Infection Following Butt Lift This is so sad. A British woman has died after being infected by a rare flesh eating bacteria following her fat transfer. According to Daily News reports via Mirror UK : Jane Kiiza caught the rare bacterial infection after the procedure to remove fat from various parts of her body and inject it into her buttocks. The 47-year-old is the first British casualty to die from the procedure, an inquest heard Kiiza visited top surgeon Dr. Shailesh Vadodaria for the ‘Brazilian butt lift’ surgery in June this year at an exclusive clinic in London’s Harley Stree During surgery, Dr Vadodaria removed fat from her back, legs and stomach and injected it into her buttocks, reported Mirror Online. But two days later, Kiiza contacted him in a panic suffering from intense pain as the bacteria tore through her body. She was rushed to her local hospital where she was given antibiotics, but then went into septic shock. Surgeons cut out the infection, but before they could operate again, she went into cardiac arrest and died. Analysis of swabs revealed the infection had been caused by the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which does not normally cause an infection. The extremely rare flesh-eating infection was only found in Kiiza’s buttocks. Woman Tries To Open Emergency Door Mid-Flight An inebriated woman allegedly freaked out on a flight from London to Boston and decided she needed to open the door and leave — while the plane was still 30,000 in the sky. Via NBCnews : A woman aboard a British Airways plane from London to Boston has been arrested after trying to open the plane’s emergency exit door during the flight, officials said. The passenger on British Airways Flight 213, a Boeing 777, was restrained for the rest of the flight, and then arrested upon arrival at Boston’s Logan Airport, the airline said. “Our customers and crew deserve to have a safe and enjoyable flight and we do not tolerate abusive behavior,” British Airways said in a statement, referring to the passenger as “an unruly customer on board.” Massachusetts State Police said it was investigating the incident, along with customs agents, the Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the Transportation Security Administration. Officials told NBC News there was no indication of terrorism. She couldn’t have picked a worse time to have whatever episode that was she was going through. It wasn't enough, apparently, for Kris Jenner to be feted by her family members and friends in the tradition of The Great Gatsby on Friday night. No, it wasn't nearly enough. On top of gathering for that aforementioned event, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner also came together to record a music video in honor of their 60-year old parent. For real. The footage is a parody of a 1985 recording Jenner actually made for her 30th birthday, in which she sang “I Love My Friends” to the tune of Randy Newman’s 1983 song “I Love L.A.” This version followed the original and featured the five women in a recording studio singing “You Love Your Friends.” The nearly eight-minute long video – which Kim shared on her YouTube page – also features cameos from Justin Bieber … Venus Williams…. Serena Williams… and the sight of Caitlyn Jenner toasting her ex-wife. In a bathtub. “It was very funny and and campy and had funny lyrics about how much Kris loves her friends,” a source told Us Weekly. “The girls would sing the verses and in between each verse it would cut to a video of someone from one of Kris’ favorite places or people singing, ‘You love your friends.'” Those scenes with friends include shots of Kris with Oprah and Kris with Kyle Richards of Bravo fame. It's a sweet gesture, this video, while also being a gesture that's easy to mock. “Mom, I’m going to give this Emmy to you because you were the one who started it all,” Kim says at one point. Today in London, the royal family gathered to honor fallen soldiers during “Remembrance Sunday,” which takes place on the second Sunday of every November. Queen Elizabeth II led the tribute at the Cenotaph, an “empty tomb” to honor those whose remains did not make it home from battle. This year, Her Majesty was joined by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the British liberation of Holland. While Her Majesty, Prince Harry and Prince William laid poppy wreaths at the memorial, the Duchess of Cambridge watched from the balcony of government building Whitehall, alongside Maxima and the Countess of Wessex , who is married to the Queen’s youngest son, Prince Edward. Catherine wore a custom-made Alexander McQueen coat for the ceremony, according to What Kate Wore , along with pearl-drop earrings from jeweler Annoushka and a hat with delicate black netting. Remembrance Sunday is a pretty remarkable event; two minutes of silence are observed, the “Last Post” is played, and veterans march by the Cenotaph to remember those lost in battle. Last night, William and Catherine (wearing a lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana) joined the Queen at the Royal Albert Hall for the annual Festival of Remembrance, also put on to honor veterans, which featured performances by Rod Stewart and Andrea Bocelli .
