A man believed to be a British soldier was hacked to death in broad daylight by two men with a cleaver in what officials are calling a terrorist attack. As the victim, dressed in what looked to be a T-shirt for Help for Heroes, a charity for military veterans, lay dying, one of the attackers found a camera. “We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you until you leave us alone,” said a meat-cleaver-wielding man with bloody hands. London Attack “The only reasons we killed this man … is because Muslims are dying daily,” he added. “This British soldier is an eye for an eye , a tooth for tooth.” One witness, Michael Atlee, described the gruesome, frenzied and ultimately fatal sequence of events Wednesday afternoon as “a bloody mess.” British Prime David Cameron called it a terrorist attack. “We will never buckle to terror,” he wrote on Twitter. A witness, who identified himself only as James, said he saw two men standing by the victim, who was on the ground in the UK capital’s Woolwich neighborhood. “They were hacking at this poor guy, literally,” he told the radio station, as if they were trying to remove his organs. “These two guys were crazed.” “They were just not there. They were just animals.” Afterward, the men appeared to want to be filmed, with one going over to a bus and asking people to take photos of him as if he wanted to be on TV. A man who asked not to be identified told police that he was on his way to a job interview when he came up on the scene and started filming it. Then, a man with a meat cleaver and knife in his bloody hands “came straight to me (and) said, ‘No, no, no, it’s cool. I just want to talk to you.'” The man, who had a London accent, was calm. The suspect even apologized to women who had witnessed the attack, but then quickly added “in our lands our women have to see the same.” “You people will never be safe,” he said. “Remove your government. They don’t care about you. You think David Cameron is going to get caught in the street when we start busting our guns?” “Get rid of them. Tell them to bring our troops back so we can all live in peace.”

GTFOHWTBS ! British Woman Says She Had To Quit Her Job Because She Is Too Pretty Via DailyMail Beauty is usually seen as a blessing. But for some, it would seem, it can be a curse. Laura Fernee says her good looks are so powerful they are ruining her life – and have forced her to quit her job. The 33-year-old science graduate says her slim figure and pretty face attracted unwanted attention from her male colleagues. She said her appearance meant she was constantly harassed and bullied, and has decided work ‘just isn’t for her’. Yesterday, she said: ‘I’m not lazy and I’m no bimbo. The truth is my good looks have caused massive problems for me when it comes to employment, so I’ve made the decision that employment just isn’t for me at the moment. It’s not my fault … I can’t help the way I look. Awww, how sad…smh ‘Male colleagues were only interested in me for how I looked. I wanted them to recognise my achievements and my professionalism but all they saw was my face and body.’ She said men left ‘romantic gifts’ on her desk and she was ‘constantly asked out’, which she found ‘sleazy’. ‘Even when I was in a laboratory in scrubs with no make-up they still came on to me because of my natural attractiveness. There was nothing I could do to stop it,’ she added. Note to women, men know what’s going on underneath those clothes. You can’t fool them. Miss Fernee studied science and medical research to doctorate level and began working in a laboratory in 2008. But she said she was forced to quit three years later because of the treatment she received. She said: ‘They [other women] assumed because I was pretty, I was stupid, so didn’t take me seriously at first and, because of their own insecurities, were jealous of my looks. ‘Then when they realised I was very good at my job, possibly better than them, they hated me even more.’ Yes, because you’re so ravishing and beautiful… Lucky for Laura, she has filthy rich parents who can pay her ridiculous bills. Miss Fernee’s parents – Catherine, 65, and Alan, 70 – inherited money from Laura’s grandfather, and now pay £2,000 a month in rent and bills for her flat in Notting Hill, London, as well as picking up her credit card payments. They also shell out £1,500 a month for her designer clothes, shoes and handbags, and £700 on haircuts. Miss Fernee pays £80 a week to work out at the gym and spends £1,000 a month on socialising. Laura’s parents need to buy her a damn seat so she can sit her skinny a$$ down somehwere. Image via Elmear O’Hagan Continue reading →
As a photographer in London found out a couple months ago, and then a neighbor discovered in Calabasas soon afterward, Justin Bieber can become quite animated at times. But the superstar will literally become a cartoon this Sunday when he cameos on The Simpsons , stopping by the Fox sitcom as himself on “The Fabulous Faker Boy.” As producer Al Jean teases to Entertainment Weekly, Bieber will attempt to enter a Springfield talent show, only “they won’t admit him.” The nerve! It’s hard to reconcile, considering the degree to which adolescents now dominate popular culture, but the idea of the teenager is a uniquely 20th-century invention, born out of advances in psychological theory, changes in child-labor laws and a boom in leisure-time activities for the under-20 set. A feat of both editing and blurring-of-the-edges nonfiction technique, Matt Wolf ’s mesmerizing, scrapbook-style Teenage conveys the transition in how the world perceived this emerging in-between stage via a series of first-person portraits of exceptional individuals set amid a whirlwind of vintage footage. Ironically, the demo in question seems least likely to appreciate the pic’s arty, innovative approach. The conventional thinking goes that until roughly World War II, society and scientists alike thought of life as two distinct stages, divided between children and adults. The former were patronized and sheltered up to a certain point, then shuffled off to work in factories at a young age. In the introduction to his paradigm-shifting book, Teenage: The Creation of Youth Culture , Jon Savage , who collaborated with Wolf on this film, reveals that his initial research into the subject began as background for a possible television series, suggesting that he always intended a multimedia approach to the topic. Eschewing the traditional TV documentary style, Wolf innovates a radically different format for the material, blending archival artifacts with invented elements to create an intimate, far more personal history of the emerging demographic across the four decades between 1904 and 1945, when Elliot E. Cohen published his young person’s manifesto, “ A Teen-Age Bill of Rights ,” in the New York Times . Though much of the footage has a stock newsreel feel, Teenage is clearly intended to suggest a home movie record of its era. To that end, Wolf interweaves staged, retro-styled scenes of various characters to foster the illusion of a candid look at various youthful cliques of the time, ranging from London’s Bright Young People to the anti-Hitler “Edelweiss Pirates.” Pic’s most obvious innovation is the absence of a dry, all-encompassing narrator, replaced by four voiceover actors hired to read excerpts from journal entries of the period (embellished with original dialogue designed to match elements from the filmmakers’ research). Jena Malone performs an early-century American girl, Ben Whishaw represents the British youth, Jessie Usher captures the unease of African-American teens and Julia Hummer plays a German fraulein whose lines were excerpted from Melita Maschmann’s chilling Nazi-era memoir, Account Rendered — each directed to sound distractingly contemporary. When combined with the vintage (or vintage-styled) visuals, these recitations produce an almost Terrence Malick -like effect, contrasting personal impressions with the more objective, journalistic imagery presented onscreen. As a work of sociological history, Teenage withholds too much context to be of use, overemphasizing the European side of what it calls “an American invention.” As a thought experiment, however, it is uniquely crafted to inspire auds to muse on how the experience of adolescence must have felt at a time cusp-of-modern moment when engaged and driven young people wanted to play a more proactive role in their world. Nearly the entire history of cinema — much of it targeted at consumers in this very age range — retroactively applies our relatively recent understanding of teenagers as a distinct developmental stage to its young characters, and Teenage suggests how famous historical and literary figures (from Marie Antoinette to Romeo and Juliet) might have actually been perceived in their time. Still, 77 minutes is hardly adequate to cover the breadth of the four decades in question, and the film alternates between elegant transitions and confusing stretches as it tries to address everything from promiscuous, free-wheeling American flappers and “victory girls” to the ultra-organized, hyper-disciplined Boy Scouts and Hitler Youth. All is reportedly not well between Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper on the set of their new film, and his new girlfriend Suki Waterhouse is to blame. The two, whose chemistry earned the Silver Linings Playbook a host of Oscar nominations, are at odds over Suki, who’s been a presence on the set. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are currently working on a new David O. Russell film, and sources say the tension over Waterhouse is palpable. Basically, J-Law is allegedly jealous of Brad’s new plaything. “When Bradley and Jennifer made Silver Linings Playbook and Serena together they were inseparable ,” a source says of the actors … but no longer/ “Bradley has been spending his free time with Suki, and she feels like she’s lost her partner in crime. They haven’t been hanging around each other as often.” “Bradley flew Suki Waterhouse from London to Boston and he took her on a tour of the city. Then, he flew to Paris to see her the moment he had a break.” “Because he’s spending all his free time with Suki, Jennifer’s only really seen Bradley on set and over time she’s grown a little bit jealous about it.” Eh, don’t sweat it too much Jen. Guy lives with his mom. We kid. Bradley’s an awesome guy. But if you’ve seen Jennifer Lawrence bikini photos , you know she’d have no problem landing … well, any guy.
A never-before-seen topless photograph of Angelina Jolie from back in the day has surfaced and is expected to fetch big bucks at an art house auction. The picture was taken by famed celebrity photographer David LaChapelle in 2001. He took a series of Angelina Jolie photos when the star was just 25. A number of pics will be auctioned next month during The Wild Side of Photography sale at Christie’s fine art auction house in London, reports indicate. Angelina’s is expected to go for between $30,000 and $46,000. In the picture, Angelina’s famous “Billy Bob” tattoo from her marriage to actor Billy Bob Thornton is front and center as she throws her brown hair back. The white horse she’s posing with is kissing her bare breasts. Not only will the topless photo be up for grabs, but a black and white photo of the star with her current fiance and family is set to hit the auction block too. A shot of Angelina and Brad Pitt posing as husband and wife with a dinner table full of kids in 2005 will also be auctioned off and should bring in up to $15,000.
My name is Niamh and I’m from London UK. I went to the Believe tour on March 4th 2013 and honestly I cant believe I’m writing a Bieber experience! I was determined to get the meet & greet package so I worked from the My World tour until the tickets were released and did extra chores and saved all my allowance until I was able to get them. I was at school when the tickets were released and at lunch I checked my phone to see if anything had happened. I saw my dad had texted me that I had got the meet & greet with my friend and we were in block A1 row C. I just started screaming and jumping around everywhere and started to cry but it was happy tears. My friend Jess and I waited from July 2012 until March 2013 and luckily those months flew by and the day finally arrived! We happily left school early as we had to check in at the O2 arena by 3:30. We all got given our wristbands and passes and then it hit me. I was about to meet Justin Bieber! The boy who me and my friend had idolized for 4 years. After a little wait in the entrance we were met a security guard who works with Kenny and we were taken through the arena into a little area around the back. After a few minutes the door opened and everyone went CRAZY. It was Dan Kanter! We were all really excited when he said he was going to come up the line and meet all of us. He spent ages with each group of people, taking pictures and hugs and everything. His accent was so cool considering we’re all British and aren’t used to the accents the Canadians have. He gave me some awesome advice about the guitar as I told him I’m teaching myself some stuff. He said, “Like Justin?” and I said, “Yeah! I know a bit of One Time and Favourite Girl and I was wondering what the chords for some songs from Believe are like?” and he said “They are actually pretty easy! Don’t give up, keep going and you can do it.” He’s such a nice guy, you gotta love Dan! Then it was my time to meet Justin. “In you go miss, he’s ready.” Oh my goodness, standing behind the curtain was so nerve racking. You could hear Justin’s voice and everything. I got tapped on the back to be told to go forward and I walked through the curtain and there he was. There wasn’t a word to describe how it felt. My heart was racing so fast and just at the moment I walked in, there was a camera problem. I was happy cause this meant I had a few extra moments with Justin. “Hi Justin,” I said walking towards towards him and he smiled and started to play with his hat. He was fixing his hair and putting his hat back on and kept doing it. It was so adorable! “Hey sweetheart you good?” He spoke and my knees just went really weak. His voice, his smile, it was all perfect and he was already so lovely. “I’m great thank you, you?” I said back and he replied with, “I’m great thank you. You excited for the show?” “Yeah I am!” “Thats great, you’ll love it!” he replied and then the camera man said the camera was working again. Justin moved back into the center and that gave me a moment just to look at him and soak in the fact he was standing a few centimeters away. He’s actually so tall but he bent his knees in my photo so he got down to my level. He put his arm out, and at first put it on my shoulder and rubbed up and down. He had a really tight grip before moving his hand to my lower back and bending his knees to get down to my height. I tried so hard not to move my hand down to his ass but I managed to resist. “Justin can I have a hug quick please?” “Of course you can!” he answered and as we went in for a hug, a security guard grabbed my shoulder to stop me. “No stop,” Justin said moving the security’s hand. “Come here,” he said and pulled me into a hug. I just hugged the boy I have loved and idolized since 2009 and I just couldn’t believe it. I said goodbye and then the nest person began to come in. I never ever wanted the moment to end. The next exciting bit was the concert and while I’m writing this, I just wanna say he wasn’t 2 hours late! It was 30 minutes because of a technical fault with the stage I heard one of the tech guys on their radios. All the press can simply shut up with all the rubbish rumors they have made. The concert was incredible and Justin killed it. The atmosphere was electric. I can honestly say it was the best night of my life and I know this is gonna be cheesy but never give up. All beliebers will meet Justin one way or another. Nothing is impossible and never say never because I promise you can do it. Believe in yourself and you can! Justin is such a lovely, genuine person and I was so grateful for everything he did. There’s not a bad word you can say about him. This is one night I was treasure forever and never ever forget, thank you Justin. -@niaamhcleland Here is the original post: My name is Niamh and I’m from London UK. I went to the…
My name is Lynsey, I’m 15 and from Manchester, England. On the 20th February 2013, the night before my Believe tour concert, my mum managed to get me a ticket to Justin’s book signing in London on the 23rd. Even though I’m from Manchester and it was such a long journey, we didn’t care, as long as I met Justin. I had also entered the BieberFever competition for meet and greets a few weeks before, but ever since I found out I was going to the book signing, I kinda forgot about it. That night I couldn’t sleep as my Believe concert was the next day. I don’t know why, but I just decided to check my emails before I tried to get to sleep again. My heart suddenly stopped when I saw the words ‘Bieberfever contest’ and ‘Congratulations Lynsey.’ I didn’t know what to do and as it was 11:45 p.m. and I couldn’t scream. I ran into my mum’s room crying and she thought something really bad had happened, but when I told her, she started crying too! After that, she had to take me downstairs for a while to calm me down, and I ended up going back to sleep at about two in the morning. We got to the arena the next day and we queued up with the rest of the contest winners. When we got close to the curtain that Justin was behind, the security said that we had to put our gifts for Justin in this pile and he would “give them to him later.” I knew they wouldn’t so I hid my bag full of Oreos for Justin and Alfredo under my coat. Then just before the three people in front of us went in, the security suddenly said, “You need to go in a group of six with these people.” He said it so quickly and I panicked because I really wanted to be next to Justin in the picture. I pushed my way to the front so I got to go through the curtain first. I saw Justin and suddenly froze. I couldn’t believe he was standing there, right in front of me. I felt myself starting to cry and Justin beckoned me over as I still hadn’t moved. I ran up to him and put my arms around him and all I could say was, “Justin Justin I love you so much.” I was crying into his chest and he hugged me back. By this time, the rest of my group were in, ready for the picture to be taken. Justin and I hadn’t let go of each other the whole time. After the picture I quickly gave the Oreos to Justin and he said, “Thank you so much,” and then he said, “FREDO! FREDO! FREDO! We have a lifetime supply of Oreos over here!” I didn’t even realize Fredo was in the room until Justin said that! I found myself running over to Fredo and I was crying. “It was me! I got you the Oreos!” We then got escorted out of the room only to be greeted by Kenny. I ran over to him and started sobbing into his chest and he rubbed my back. All I managed to say was, “Kenny Kennnny!” Then the other security guard said, “Come on girls you need to move along.” Then Kenny saw my other two friends standing at the side crying too and he said, “Come on girls, group hug.” We were then let out into the corridor and we all collapsed on the floor, sobbing and crying our eyes out. Afterwards the concert was amazing! Then came the book signing on the 23rd. I travelled down to London on the train with my mum and we arrived at the secret location. We queued up for quite a while, and they were playing the ‘Believe’ album in the background. Again, when we were supposed to hand in our gifts, I hid my letter for Fredo and birthday card for Justin in my pocket. When I got over to the table and put my book down, Justin signed it and I was like, “I love you so much Justin!” Then my mum said, “Justin I just want to tell you that you put a smile on her face everyday,” and he looked from my mum to me, and looked right into my eyes and said, “Aw but I’m making her cry now!” Then my mum said, “No seriously Justin, you really are a credit” and he put his hand on his heart like a peace sign then shook my mum’s hand. I then gave my letters and card to Fredo and my hand was shaking so much. “Promise me you’ll read it?” I said through my tears. He nodded his head and gave me a really sincere look and said, “I promise.” It was just such an amazing experience and to got to do it twice in the space of three days. When I didn’t think it could get any better, I woke up the next day to find that Fredo had tweeted me! I couldn’t believe that he had actually took the time to read my letter and tweet me. Justin is so perfect and I never even dreamed that I’d be able to write a my Bieber experience like I am right now. I’m NEVER going to forget this! I am 15 years old and I am originally from Lithuania but living in the UK . I always used to go on this website and read about beliebers meeting Justin and I’m not going to lie, it was heartbreaking. Back in summer of 2012 I couldn’t get any tickets for the Believe tour, however my mum bought me some from Seatwave on the same day, therefore they turned out to be really pricy! After long months of waiting my tickets arrived on 15th February. I started to realize what was happening: I would be going to see Justin Bieber at a concert after nearly 5 long years of waiting. Around 18th February I entered a competition to win tickets for a concert for 5th of March because my dream was to go to the arena and find a person who doesn’t have tickets and just give them one. After a few days of spamming O2’s Twitter, me and other 8 girls won the tickets! I told my mum and she got excited and said, “Well that means you can sell your 4th of March tickets,” but I refused to because EVERYTHING happens for a reason. I won and bought these tickets for a reason. Maybe something special was going to happen on that day. I was right. On 4th of March, my friend and I got on a train to London Waterloo in the afternoon. I was so excited! When we finally arrived at the O2, we met some beliebers and went up to the gate where Justin goes in. After hanging around for over an over in this windy weather we saw his tour bus! I was shaking already by knowing Justin Drew Bieber is like 5 feet away from me! After being unsuccessful of catching a glimpse of him, I went to meet my friend Holly at the entrance. 10 minutes later she was given a meet and greet ticket by a man who was going to go in with his daughter, but he said he would rather give it to a belieber! I was crying so much, I was so happy for her. But then, his wife came over and said that if she was allowed to take her bracelet off, she would give it to me! I was on the floor, shaking and crying, I couldn’t even talk. Justin’s security said it was fine and this amazing lady gave this stupid paper bracelet (that could change any beliebers life) to me. I couldn’t believe these things happen. I was then standing in a queue with some amazing people waiting to meet Justin. What?! I called my mum to tell her about me meeting him, but i couldn’t talk because I was crying so much. She was so excited for me! Then 10 minutes later, Dan Kanter came out and he was just chillin with us all for about 20-30 minutes! We took some amazing photos. I was then the next person to go in. I walked up to Justin and was like, “C-c-can I ha-ave a h-h-hug?” He smiled said, “Yes sure.” I was dying and I couldn’t believe it. Two hours ago I didn’t even know I was meeting him. Security tried to pull us apart and he didn’t let them by saying, “No.” OH MY GOD. His arm was around my waist and then on my shoulder! When I had to go he gave me puppy eyes and nodded his head. My eyes started to tear up. He dragged his arm all across mine till our finger tips met. I was shaking and crying right after as I was walking out. Then the nicest and prettiest girl Annie (a girl who I met in the queue) came out and we both went mental. I also had put a letter on his gift table. I didn’t even know I was meeting him, I had wrote it just in case. When we got into the actual arena I couldn’t stop crying. After 4 long years I got to meet my idol, the guy who got me through so much! Before the concert started, I got my friend Holly to sit with us. It was so amazing and the best night of my life. Don’t stop believing! -@victorialovez_ Excerpt from: I am 15 years old and I am originally from Lithuania but living…
