But in an attempt to defend his father against such truth, Don Jr. proffered this ridiculousness during an interview with The Daily Caller : Thomas (TDC) : What do you think about the left’s efforts to frame your dad and anyone who supports your dad as a hater, as a racist, as a fascist? This is a cultural phenomenon and there’s fear spreading across the country of being able to say what you really believe. Trump : Well, I think it’s terrible for a couple reasons. I spent this on the campaign trail when it was so obvious that was sort of the game plan. You know we’re gonna smear you with racist, fascist, whatever. The real problem is those things exist. Certainly, racism exists but if it’s your response to any argument you can’t win, you actually do real disservice to those people actually afflicted by it. To those people who are actually oppressed and hurt by real racism, real sexism. So if you use it every time, what really happens … as people hear it, they roll their eyes and they move on because they realize it’s nonsense. In this case, the problem is when people who are actually affected by it say it doesn’t matter anymore. It’s lost its effect because it’s been numbing to people. You can only overplay your hand so many times before people start calling your bluff, so it’s actually doing nothing on the positive side of being able to promote that as a real issue. And what it’s doing, on the other side, is it’s hurting those that are actually afflicted by it so it’s been terrible to watch. I see, I know him (the president), I’ve seen him my whole life. I’ve seen the things he’s done. You know it’s amazing–all the rappers, all his African American friends, from Jesse Jackson or al Sharpton, have pictures with him. Since Full House premiered in 1987, everyone with two eyes and a television has wanted to marry John Stamos. Fortunately for the 54-year-old dreamboat but sadly for everyone who isn’t Caitlin McHugh, that’s John Stamos’ decision to make. Well, he made his choice, and got engaged to Caitlin McHugh in 2017. The couple is also expecting a child together, which makes them doubly blessed. Well, there’s even more good news about this beautiful couple, folks — they’re now, officially, married ! It’s not really a surprise that John Stamos promosed to Caitlin, his adorable and much younger girlfriend who is living the dreams of countless fans. After all, it wasn’t that long ago that John Stamos helped a fan pop the question because he’s an absolute prince. (In that case, it was really the man’s girlfriend who was a big Stamos fan — too big of a Stamos fan — and John Stamos bestowed his blessing upon their engagement) For his own proposal, Stamos used a little Disney magic to set the right atmosphere for Caitlin McHugh. He announced his success on Instagram. “I asked … she said yes! … And we lived happily ever after.” Now, admittedly, the “lived happily ever after” line might be a bit premature. Because, obviously, they haven’t gotten there yet. But the engagement was followed by some other wonderful news. John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh are having a baby ! The decision to have a kid came about really naturally and rationally — the two share the same morals and values, which is a good starting point for any relationship, but especially for prospective parents. They figured that they’d do well with a kid. And then it was Caitlin who liked the idea of going ahead and conceiving a child before the wedding. Why? Because, well, John Stamos is … old. And she said as much, because they have a healthy relationship. But good-natured ribbing aside, these two stunning human beings have tied the knot. Entertainment Tonight reports that John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh got married on Saturday. The venue was simple but beautiful, at Stamos’ home in Beverly Hills. At the wedding, the couple’s outfits were fairly traditional even though the location was not. Both the gorgeous groom and the beautiful bride posed for photos with friends and family members in the backyard. Though the newlyweds are clearly head-over-heels for each other and enjoyed a Superbowl party the next day (so it’s perhaps not your typical honeymoon), there was a bit of bad news. Caitlin McHugh’s room at the Beverly Hills Hotel was, unfortunately, burglarized. It was Friday, the day before her wedding, and someone stole $165,000 worth of jewelry. Sickening. it appears that no suspect has been identified or captured. Investigators aren’t even sure of how they entered the room in the first place. Some might callously suggest that John Stamos, whose net worth is estimated to be around $40 million, can easily replace what was lost. Sure, he has the cash. But not all jewelry is replaceable — heirlooms and other items may have sentimental value that can’t simply be matched by a dollar amount. Neither insurance nor a rich new husband can totally negate an invasive loss like that. It’s a little scary that someone was able to enter her room like that at all. But she’s married and has a baby on the way. That is, ultimately, more valuable than any volume of jewelry. Or, at least, more than $165,000 worth of it. Let’s be real.
Back in 2016, Ben Affleck appeared on Bill Simmons’ short-lived HBO show and screamed about his love for Tom Brady in what appeared to be a drunken tirade. At the time, the unhinged rant was mostly laughed off, and it was only later that the world learned that Affleck was battling alcoholism and was in the depths of his addiction at the time of the interview. As you’ve no doubt heard, Ben’s beloved Patriots lost to the underdog Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII on Sunday. As the world marveled at Eagles’ fans willingness to lay waste to their own city, many wondered how Ben – arguably the most famous Pats fan and a close friend of Tom Brady’s – was handling the news. Back in December, Affleck checked into rehab for the third time in less than a year. These days, he’s out of treatment and reportedly sober, but after falling off the wagon so many times, Ben is no doubt aware that alcoholism is a lifelong battle. Ben’s father, Tim Affleck, has also struggled with addiction and earlier this week he opened up about his son’s struggles in a candid interview with Radar Online. It seems the elder Affleck believes his son’s struggles are mainly the result of the career he chose. “Hollywood is a disgusting place!” Tim told the outlet . “I’m not a big fan of the entertainment world. I know it’s taken its toll [on Ben].” Tim says he’s witnessed some major changes in his son’s character over the course of his decades in the industry. “You’re kind of forced to develop a persona that is hard to shed and go home to your family,” Tim says. “It affects your whole life. I think that’s one of the dangers of the film industry.” Ben has spoken at length about his father’s alcoholism and the ways in which it affected his childhood. “I know what he’s going through,” says Tim, who’s been sober 27 years. “Of course we speak about it, and we do have a shared history, at least in terms of struggle. Ben’s always been serious about getting sober. He wants a balanced life and he’s working at it.” Tim believes his son has what it takes to remain sober, but believes Ben may be too reliant upon the women in his life. “I don’t necessarily believe one person should be with someone forever,” Tim says. “Some people might, but history has proven it often doesn’t work.” Affleck has been dating Lindsay Shookus since the summer of 2017. Even though Kim Cattrall is done with Sex and the City , her role as the infamous Samantha won her countless fans all over the world. It was to those same fans that Kim turned for help over the weekend, when her brother, Chris Cattrall, went missing. Sadly, Kim Cattrall has now had the grim task of sharing that her brother has passed away at 55. Over the weekend, beloved Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall shared this heartfelt plea: “MISSING! This is my brother Christopher Cattrall or Chris as we call him. He has been missing since Tuesday, January the 30th from his home in Lacombe, Alberta Canada.” It sounds like she and her family had hoped that police in Alberta could find her brother quietly without her having to embarrass him publicly. But she had reason to be worried. “His keys, cell phone,& wallet left on the table and his front door unlocked. This is not like Chris. He he would never leave his unlocked home without those items nor his 7 beloved dogs.” After that alarming description, Kim provides a physical description to match the photo. “Chris is 55 years old, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, blue eyes, short brown hair, goatee, average build & usually wearing a waist length hooded winter coat with black gloves, blue jeans and calf high black winter boots.” Of course, if he didn’t have his wallet, phone, or keys with him, it’s hard to tell what he might be wearing or not wearing. “If you’ve seen Chris contact Blackfalds RCMP at 403 885 3300 He’s a one of a kind brother. Help us bring him home safe. Please spread the world. Many thanks for reading this. Kim.” Fans rushed to spread the news. Unfortunately, desperate searches for loved ones often end in tragedy. On Sunday night, Kim posted this grim update: “It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall.” Oh, that is several kinds of heartbreaking. If you’ve ever lost a sibling, you know how devastating that can be. Quite frankly, even if you haven’t, you can probably imagine what she must be going through. What her entire family must be going through. Kim Cattrall’s difficult message continues: “At this time we ask for privacy.” Of course. Naturally, everyone has questions … but she and her family will share what they know when they can. In the mean time, nobody needs to be photographed crying in their living room. She also thanks fans. “We want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time.” Royal Canadian Mounted Police spokesperson Corporal Chris Warren did confim that Chris Cattrall was found, deceased, on his property on Sunday. Naturally, they’re still investigating, but it doesn’t sound like they suspect foul play. The Voice has done a lot for Blake Shelton over the past 8 years. It’s how he and Gwen Stefani met. It’s how people who aren’t big Country fans know who he is. It’s probably how he somehow ended up “Sexiest Man Alive.” Despite all of that, Blake is reportedly considering quitting the show that has given him so much — including tens of millions of dollars. Surprisingly, it sounds like producers wouldn’t mind that at all. And it may all come down to Blake Shelton’s behavior when the cameras aren’t rolling. Blake Shelton has been making headlines since he first hooked up with Gwen Stefani a few years ago. Their runaway romance began after Gwen shared her story of being cheated on with her costars — she wanted to tell her fellow judges what was going on in her life before they heard speculation in tabloids. Blake came forward, telling Gwen that he’d just gone through something similar in his own life. The two of them bonded over that. And then, at some point, they boned. (There have even been reports that Blake Shelton is trying to impregnate Gwen Stefani ) So, money and visibility and alleged sexiness aside, it’s safe to say that The Voice has changed Blake Shelton’s life in a really positive way. Radar Online reports that Blake Shelton may walk away from The Voice . “Blake has made tens of millions of dollars on The Voice and he has gotten insane exposure for his music.” It’s true. If you’re not a Country fan, you had probably never heard of him before he went on The Voice , if then. A lot of people never noticed that he existed until he started dating Gwen Stefani. “But the money and fame have changed Blake.” It sounds like he’s turned into a real diva when the cameras aren’t rolling. “He is a cry baby if he doesn’t get his own way and he barks orders at people.” Oh gosh. That sounds like an unpleasant way to behave. That source has more to say, which we’ll get to in a moment. But we should mention that some people’s first reaction will be that “diva behavior” doesn’t really match Blake Shelton’s image. Or rather that it doesn’t really match Country Music’s image. The key word there is image . Successful stars are great at managing their images; it is a key to success. Blake Shelton is a guy who allegedly cheated just as much as Miranda Lambert, but it’s Miranda’s life that was ruined as the Country community sided with him during their split. So it’s probably fair to say that Blake knows how to portray himself one way to the public and another in private. Ultimately, Blake Shelton’s decision on whether or not to depart may rest on the shoulders of Adam Levine, who is also considering quitting. The reason is that Adam’s wife Behati Prinsloo is pregnant with baby #2 , and he may want to spend more time with his family. “If Adam quits, Blake is definitely walking out behind him.” Interesting. We wonder if Blake would feel insecure about remaining behind if Adam leaves. Certainly, we’ve never heard that there’s any love lost between the two. Also interesting is that apparently the show itself wouldn’t mind. But though new judges could breathe new life into The Voice , we have to wonder if the change could risk losing them viewers. Well, on tonight’s episode of Scandal , he asks her to go to Vermont and she surprisingly agrees, but when she gets to her beautiful cabin she discovers it’s an intervention. Huck, Abby, Rosen and Marcus pop out and tell her they know what she did and they have her on tape talking about it. The deal is, if she admits what she did then she just gives up B613 and all her power and Rosen won’t prosecute her. Olivia tries to gaslight everyone by claiming this isn’t her fault and that they’ve all done something dirty. via GIPHY Back at Rowan Pope’s house, we find Charlie preparing to beat the breaks off Rowan a few feet away from the baby, who is crying in her crib, but Quinn pops out him and tells him that Rowan is protecting her. Charlie is obviously freaked out and also pissed. Next, Cyrus tells Mellie that Olivia killed Rashad. Mellie asks for proof, Cyrus then says he thinks Quinn had something on her so now Mellie puts two and two together about Quinn’s “death” too. Mellie demands to speak to Olivia but gets informed that she’s not in the office. Jake doesn’t know where Olivia is either (for obvious reasons). He calls her but doesn’t get an answer. Mellie finds him in his secret B613 room in the White House and tells him she knows what’s up and Olivia better show up soon or there will be trouble, starting with filling that room with cement with Jake inside. via GIPHY Back at Rowan Pope’s house, we find Quinn and Rowan soothing the baby by singing Britney Spears’ “One More Time.” And Charlie is looking at them like… via GIPHY But this bonding time doesn’t last long. Charlie wants to take Quinn and the baby elsewhere, but Rowan Pope feels that they’re safer with him. Obviously, this is a source of contention. Charlie feels that he can take care of his family without Rowan. Rowan doesn’t think so but at the same time, he also lowkey enjoys Quinn’s company (she’s like the daughter he lost) and having a baby around. Charlie takes his case to Quinn, but Quinn also thinks it’s best that she stays at Rowan’s place and that Olivia thinks she’s dead. Knowing her man, she also tells him not to kill Olivia. Jake tells Cyrus he better tell Mellie to shut down her investigation and any impending punitive action or he will kill him and make it look like a suicide. Cyrus ain’t never scared and calls Jake’s bluff. Jake falls back for now, but he makes it his mission to find Olivia. In Vermont, Olivia is holed up in a room in the cabin acting like a petulant child while the gladiators take turns trying to talk sense into her. Abby tries from the girlfriend angle, you know she understands how the allure of power can get you in trouble (*coughs* Frankie Vargas). Rosen starts reading all of the potential charges she could face. It’s not working. Speaking of Abby, she apologizes to Huck for not believing him about Olivia. via GIPHY Mellie and Cyrus are trying to figure out what to do and at least wants answers before taking action, because she feels like Olivia did what she did for a reason. Cyrus reminds Mellie that neither Neither Olivia nor Jake will go quietly. Then he says that Mellie is really just afraid to lead without her and that Olivia is making a fool of her. Olivia finally comes out of her room and attempts to emotionally manipulate Huck. She tells him she needs him to get her out of the house and be B613 with her. He says he can’t because she killed one of their own and that what she did was unforgivable. He’s done serving her. In fact, he makes this very clear when he says, “I’m not your gladiator anymore.” When Huck is done with Olivia, you know this is the end of days. via GIPHY Jake heads to Liv’s apartment in searching of her. Mellie is waiting for him with her secret service. She wants to know why Olivia did what she did. Jake spills the tea about how Olivia made a deal with the Bashrani rebels. Mellie doesn’t believe it and demands to know the truth. Jake tries to keep it cute, but she keeps pressing the issue then he gives her the answer: Ain’t nobody got time for Mellie to be in love again! Olivia was not feeling the idea of Mellie falling in love with Rashad and ruining everything she worked for by making lovestruck silly decisions. Olivia seemingly comes to her senses and writes a note of resignation as Chief of Staff and keeps Mellie clean of any criminal involvement and she agrees to make her announcement that night at a live press conference. Olivia then says that she will step down from B613 but Jake has to dismantle it. Then she delivers a non-apology for not being able to admit that she’s wrong. That was basically the apology, “I’m sorry I can’t admit that I’m wrong, I know I hurt people.” She comes to tears claiming that she wishes she could tell Quinn, yatta yatta. via GIPHY Anyway, later on she’s back in DC and she finds Jake and tells him she’s about to lose every friend she has ever had as she seduces him in desperation. The gladiators watch the press conference, waiting for the announcement that never comes.They call around looking for Live, but she’s um, busy. Once Jake and Live are done getting busy, Liv barks orders at Jake. She demands that he talk Mellie out of shutting down B613. He pushes back, but she tells him to just do it. The way she talks to him is even more callous and distant than usual and for the first time, Jake has a look on his face like he finally sees her for what she is and he’s finally tired of being the Pope Family Pet. Think about it, if Huck can be done with Olivia, then so can Jake. via GIPHY The Gladiators, plus Fitz, are in a quandary, they don’t know what to do with Olivia because they don’t have enough evidence to convict her, and there would also be messy fallout because other people would get sucked into the storm for crimes they didn’t commit (*coughs* Mellie). Jake goes to Mellie as he’s told but the convo goes in a completely different direction. In the next scene, we find Olivia walking into work all cocky and assured that she got this, but then she finds Jake packing up her things in her office. Olivia confronts Mellie and demands to know what she did, but we’ll have to wait until next week for the answer. One such inspired individual is none other than Octavia Spencer. The Oscar award winning actress recently revealed that Jessica Chastain helped get her paid and it appears she’s using some of those extra dollars to buy out theater in Mississippi: Spencer previously bought out a theater when her film “Hidden Figures” was released last year. We love that Black celebs are ensuring that this new wave of inclusion and diversity in Hollywood doesn’t go to waste. How many times are you planning to see Black Panther ?

The songstress who’s expecting her first child with husband Dana Isaiah revealed the harrowing news on Instagram in a somber post. Jordin lost two friends; Leah Belle & Rasual who died tragically in that car crash , her stepsister Bryanna who passed away from sickle cell complications and her cousin Q. “Four Angels in a week, my heart is just so heavy & broken,” wrote Sparks on Instagram. “Don’t ever skip a chance to tell someone you appreciate them or how much you love them.” This is all so incredibly sad, we’re sending best wishes and prayers Jordin’s way.

Butler and LaBelle are survived by their families, including his daughter Raven Butler from a previous relationship. Via TMZ: Ex-NBA player Rasual Butler and his wife — a singer who appeared on “American Idol” — were both killed in a single car crash in Studio City, CA early Wednesday morning, TMZ Sports has learned. 38-year-old Butler — who was drafted by the Miami Heat in 2002 — lost control of his Range Rover around 2 AM, struck a parking meter and slammed into a wall. The car flipped. Officers believe the car was speeding before it lost control. Butler had a long NBA career after an impressive run at La Salle — where he was a 2-time First Team All-Atlantic 10 Player. He’s a member of the La Salle Hall of Athletics. He went on to play in the NBA until 2016 — with stints on the Hornets, Clippers, Bulls, Raptors, Pacers, Wizards and Spurs. Rasual most recently played in Ice Cube’s BIG3 league. Butler’s wife Leah LaBelle, 31, was an R&B singer who was signed to Epic Records. She placed 12th on the 3rd Season of “American Idol” back in 2004. Fellow NBA and entertainment industry stars expressed their condolences and memories of the young couple, including Kobe Bryant, Pharrell Williams, Shaquille O’Neal, Allen Iverson, Nia Long, Bryan Michael Cox and Ray Allen.
