Vladimir Putin to Megyn Kelly: Get a Life, Loser!

When he’s not stoically stroking a cat or swivelling in a chair to reveal himself to a captured foe, Russian President Vladimir Putin likes to maintain the illusion that he’s the democratically elected, non-villainous head of a functioning industrialized nation. That means occasionally conversing with reporters, despite the fact that it would be so much easier to put their heads on spikes outside the Kremlin as a warning to others who might be thinking about snooping around. On Sunday night, Trump foil turned Fox News refugee Megyn Kelly interviewed Putin on her new 60 Minutes -esque weekly newsmagazine.  Not surprisingly, Putin was his usual petulant self, bristling at questions about Russia’s alleged collusion with the Trump administration , and seemingly at all times one subtle head nod away from having Kelly dragged off to a Siberian work camp. “You have created a sensation out of nothing,” Putin replied when asked about charges of Russia hacking the DNC and meddling in the 2016 election. “And out of this sensation you created a weapon of war against the president,” he said, referring to Trump. “You people over there … good job. Your lives must be boring.” Yes, Vlad just went full Regina George and basically asked Kelly why she’s so totes obsessed with him. To her credit, Kelly pressed on and asked the real-life Bond villain about the alleged pee tapes starring Trump and some Russian hookers . Okay, she didn’t use the word “pee tapes” but she did ask if Russia has incriminating information that it’s using to blackmail Trump: “Well this just another load of nonsense,” Putin replied. “Where would we get this information from? There was a time when he used to come to Moscow but, you know, I never met him. Do you think we’re gathering information on all of the [Americans visiting Russia on business]. “Have you all lost your sense over there?” he concluded, really piling on the rhetorical questions in not-at-all-super-suspicious fashion. This is some top-notch gaslighting, folks. The good thing about engaging in the kind of cartoonish supervillainy that sounds ridiculous when you describe it out loud is that all you have to do to defend yourself is describe it out loud. It’s a tactic that’s probably been employed by evildoers throughout history. “Riiiiight, I’m brainwashing you into worshipping me as a Christ-like figure so that I can convince you to commit a series of brutal murders in hopes of igniting an apocalyptic race war,” we imagine a young Charles Manson sarcastically dismissing his followers’ suspicions. Clearly, Vlad has learned from the very best bad guys. Sad! View Slideshow: Tiny Trump: Internet Cuts President Down to Size!

Ariana Grande Still Playing Benefit Concert After Last Night’s Terrorist Attack

As you’ve surely heard by now, the UK was hit by yet another terrorist attack last night. Three men men drove a van onto London Bridge, hitting pedestrians before they jumped out and began stabbing people. Seven people were killed and 48 were injured. The terrorists were shot and killed by police when they arrived on the scene. It sounds absolutely horrifying, and it’s especially scary considering the Manchester attack that happened less than two weeks ago. On May 22nd, a suicide bomber entered an Ariana Grande concert , setting off a nail bomb that killed 22 people. Countless others were injured. Ariana was understandably devastated by what happened, but she still managed to pull together, along with her team, to plan a benefit concert for the victims and their families. The concert will take place back in Manchester, and Ariana will perform, along with Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Take That, Coldplay, Niall Horan, Usher, Robbie Williams, Little Mix, the Black Eyed Peas, and Pharrell Williams. Anyone who attended her original Manchester concert can get in for free, and all proceeds will go to a fund set up for the people who were injured and the families of the people who were killed. The concert was scheduled for tonight … but will it go on in light of last night’s attack in London? According to Ariana’s manager, Scooter Braun, absolutely it will. Here’s the statement he released in full: After the events last night in London, and those in Manchester just two weeks ago, we feel a sense of responsibility to honor those lost, injured, and affected . We plan to honor them with courage, bravery, and defiance in the face of fear. Today’s One Love Manchester benefit concert will not only continue, but will do so with greater purpose. We must not be afraid and in tribute to all those affected here and around the world, we will bring our voices and sing loudly. I am pleased to say we have the full support of Greater Manchester Police and the government and are assured the safety of all those attending is the highest priority. All artists involved have been unwavering in their support this morning and are determined to carry on with the show. We ask the strong city of Manchester and the world to join us in making the statement that hatred and fear will never win. Today we stand together. Thank you. For their part, Manchester police have said that they’ll be thoroughly searching everyone coming into the concert . Ariana, meanwhile, has been in Manchester for a few days, visiting her fans who were injured during the original attack. Last night, she tweeted that she was “praying for London,” and this morning she’s been promoting tonight’s show. The concert will be televised in several countries, and any money earned from this will also go to the victims. It’s an amazing thing that Ariana and all these people are doing, and a very brave thing as well. Will you be watching? View Slideshow: Manchester Bombing: A Tribute to the Victims

Brad Pitt Takes Chris Cornell’s Kids to Universal Studios, Gives Us All the Feels

Folks, no matter where you fall on the political spectrum, we think it’s safe to say it’s been a bit of a tumultuous year. Sure, 2017 hasn’t hit quite as hard as 2016 in terms of untimely celebrity deaths , but as we approach the halfway mark, there’s no question that some of the bonafide greats have shuffled off this mortal coil. Just two weeks ago, for example, the music world was shocked by the death of Chris Cornell , the iconic Soundgarden and Audioslave singer who passed at just 52 years of age. Cornell had many famous friends, and he’s been widely mourned both in Hollywood and in the Seattle music scene that he helped to create. Among the most recognizable of the late legend’s A-list buddies is Brad Pitt. Pitt was said to be devastated by Cornell’s death , and sources say he sank into deep depression upon hearing the news. Word of Cornell’s passing reportedly reached Pitt within 48 hours of the death of Brad Grey , one of Pitt’s oldest friends and longtime business partner. As you probably know, it had been a rocky few months for the newly single (and newly sober) screen icon, and losing two close friends back-to-back could have easily pushed Brad into a dangerous downward spiral. But it seems Pitt’s a stronger believer that sometimes, the best way to help yourself is to reach out and help someone else: That’s Brad with Cornell’s two youngest children, 12-year-old Toni and 11-year-old Christopher, at the Universal Studios theme park in LA. The trio reportedly hit up the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where they were spotted sipping on Butter Beers. (Unlike the beverages served up at the Three Broomsticks, Universal’s Butter Beer is entirely N/A.) Little is known about Brad and the kids’ visit to the park, but we imagine Pitt simply wanted to do something nice for some kids who recently lost their dad. It’s not gonna bring Chris back, or solve any of the world’s major problems, but the gesture no doubt made a tremendous difference two young people going through a difficult time. Let’s all take a moment to reflect on the impact that a single kind gesture can have in the confusing and chaotic universe we all inhabit. Okay, cool. Now that that’s over, you can get back to flaming each other on Twitter. View Slideshow: Chris Cornell: Mourned, Remembered by Stars Everywhere

Ariana Grande Manchester Concert: Sold Out! In 6 Minutes!

In response to last week’s horrible suicide bombing in Manchester,  Ariana Grande penned an emotional letter that partially read as follows: Music is something that everyone on Earth can share. Music is meant to heal us, to bring us together, to make us happy. So that is what it will continue to do for us. We will continue in honor of the ones we lost, their loved ones, my fans and all affected by this tragedy. As it turns out, the singer is not the only person who feels this way. Within six minutes of tickets going on sale for Grande’s upcoming tribute concert, multiple outlets confirm that the event sold out. Totally and completely. In just six minutes. Makes you feel pretty good about humanity, doesn’t it? That so many people are willing to head back to the scene of this awful crime , in order to prove to the terrorists that they don’t scare us… and also to raise money for all affected by this tragedy? As previously detailed, this special show will take place June 4 at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground. Among the act who will join Grande on stage will be Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus Coldplay and Justin Bieber. Proceeds from the concert will go to the Red Cross’ Manchester Emergency Fund and be used to benefit the victims and the families affected by the suicide bombing at Grande’s Manchester Arena concert on May 22. In that act of terrorism, 22 people were killed and over 100 were injured. Those who attended this original concert have been offered free tickets; the remainder went on sale for on Thursday morning for $52. Shortly after the event sold out, Ticketmaster released a statement that assured these original concert goers they would be covered. It reads as follows: “We would like to reassure any fans that were at the show that they will receive a free ticket for One Love Manchester, provided we can verify their initial booking. We thank fans for their patience as we continue to process the registrations. “We want to give all fans who were at the show, regardless of where they bought their tickets, every opportunity to register for One Love Manchester. “We’ve opened up the registration again today, until 2 p.m.” It’s unclear where E! News gets its estimate from, but the website approximates that this show will bring in about $2.6 million. Pretty amazing, huh? View Slideshow: Manchester Bombing: A Tribute to the Victims Niall Horan is one of the artists who will participate, saying this about the event on SiriusXM yesterday: “I’m good friends with Ariana. She called me up and asked me if I would I be involved, and obviously, it was a no brainer. It was a terrible thing to happen. “But Ariana can pull some of her friends together and get on stage and raise some needed money for the victims of a terrible attack. “I guess that’s the least we can do as artists: get up there and sing a few songs and try to put some smiles on some faces.” Amen to that. We salute Grande and everyone taking part in this concert. And we continue to send our condolences to everyone associated with the tragedy of May 22.

Baby Roloff: Go Inside Jackson’s Nursery!!!!!!

As previously reported in exciting detail,  Tori and Zach Roloff are first-time parents . The Little People, Big World players welcomed a son named Jackson into the world on May 12, providing us with a couple adorable photos at the time and writing: “Baby and mother are doing great and Jackson is already mastered holding daddy’s fingers and snuggling with mom! He is adorable and Tori and I are loving being parents.” The new mother added on Instagram that she's already “in love” with her little one. Now, in a fun new video shared by TLC, the reality stars are here to give fans of their series a tour of their child's nursery. With Tori holding the camera and Zach rocking out in a chair for the most part, the twosome (who got married in July of 2015) give us a glimpse at little Jackson's crib… a unique set of sheets inside said crib .. and also a special stuffed animal who will be keeping an eye over the baby while he sleeps. The animal is a dog and he's a tribute to the canine Tori and Zach tragically lost to cancer a few months ago. This sad death was chronicled on last week's new episode of Little People, Big World . “He was my best friend,” Tori cried to the cameras at the time. “I just wish I had that back.” Zach was afraid back in March, upon Sully's passing, that the stress of this incident would have a negative effect on his wife's pregnancy. But Tori is healthy and Jackson is adorable and everyone seems to be doing well these days. For more on what transpired last Tuesday night, we urge you to watch Little People, Big World online . And for an enjoyable look around Jackson's bedroom, we urge you to click PLAY on the vide below.
