There is one episode remaining on Once Upon a Time season 6. And, on a related note, there is also just one episode remaining for Jennifer Morrison as a lead character on Once Upon a Time. The actress has announced she’s leaving the show. Now, one important caveat to keep in mind is this: ABC is yet to renew Once Upon a Time beyond this season. Many fans have anticipated for many weeks now that Once Upon a Time Season 6 Episode 21 (titled “The Final Battle”) will mark the conclusion of the beloved drama. And now we have an even stronger reason to believe this will be the case. Still, long-time followers of the program are reacting with sadness to Morrison’s announcement. “As I reached the end of my 6 year contract on ONCE UPON A TIME, I was faced with a significant decision,” the star wrote on Instagram this morning, adding: “ABC, Eddy Kitsis, and Adam Horowitz very generously invited me to continue as a series regular. After very careful consideration, I have decided that creatively and personally, it is time for me to move on.” Morrison has anchored the series as Emma Swan since the premiere. She concluded her statement as follows: Emma Swan is one my favorite characters that I have ever played. My 6 years on ONCE UPON A TIME has changed my life in the most beautiful ways. I am absolutely blown away by the passion and commitment of the Oncer fans. I am so honored to have been a central part of such a special show. I will be forever grateful to Adam, Eddy, and ABC for giving me the gift of playing Emma Swan. It’s also worth noting that simply because Morrison is leaving, this doesn’t mean she’s leaving her fan base high and dry forever. The actress promised loyal Once Upon a Time viewers that she’ll continue to make appearances at fan conventions whenever she can. “As I move on to other creative endeavors, I will continue to attend the fan conventions whenever my professional schedule allows,” she wrote. “I always look forward meeting the fans.” Finally, if ABC does , indeed, pick the show up for a seventh season, Morrison is willing to return and wrap up her character’s storyline. “If ABC Network does in fact order a season 7, I have agreed to appear in one episode, and I will most certainly continue to watch ONCE UPON A TIME,” she assured fans. “The creativity of the show runners has always inspired me, and I cannot wait to see the ways that they continue to develop and reinvent the show.” View Slideshow: 13 TV Shows Ending In 2017 NOTE to ABC: Do not pick up Once Upon a Time for Season 7. Things were quiet between them for a couple of months, but the feud began again when Brooke accused Jeremy of not only cheating on her with the producer and countless other random ladies, but also of cheating on her with her best friend . She even shared a screen shot of a text message conversation between Jeremy and the best friend as proof. Right around the same time — was it related? Who knows. — Jeremy spent some time with Leah Messer at a club, sparking rumors that the two of them were getting back together . The result was that Teen Mom fans lost their minds with all the Jeremy Calvert gossip, and so he felt the need to record a video of himself in an attempt to set the record straight. Or, as he put it, Brooke was “f-cking his brains out, every day,” and he was single, so “my dick was happy to do whatever the f-ck it wanted to do, and it did.” Can you imagine being Brooke and hearing your former fiance talk about you like that? And what’s more, can you imagine being her and having to deal with the cold, hard fact that you almost married a guy like Jeremy? It’s almost too much to bear. And that’s why she got on Instagram and shared a meme to express her feelings. The meme read “My reaction when I hear that someone’s been talking about me,” complete with a photo of a man laughing hysterically. In her caption, Brooke wrote “Find something better to say already, rather than making up everything under the sun about me to try to make yourself feel/look better.” For good measure, she added the hashtags “delusional,” “you’re the problem, not me,” “what’s done is done,” “your loss,” and “I’m gone.” One of her followers told her that Jeremy was just making himself look bad with that idiotic rant, and she agreed, writing “Exactly!!! He’s literally disgusting!!!” And, well, she’s not wrong. Here’s something that won’t surprise you: Like the majority of the civilized world, Lena Dunham is no fan of the odious GOP-backed legislation commonly referred to as “Trump Care.” Here’s something that probably will surprise you: During Monday night’s 2017 Met Gala , Dunham was rushed to the hospital shortly after walking the red carpet. Dunham suffers from endometriosis, a chronic illness affecting the female reproductive system that often results in chronic pelvic pain and infertility. The actress and writer underwent a fifth surgical procedure in April with the goal of alleviating her symptoms for good, but apparently she experienced complications the night of the gala. Yesterday, Dunham shared a photo from her hospital bed in which her custom Elizabeth Kennedy dress can be seen in the background. She posted the pic alongside some thoughts about healthcare in America: “Thank you for all the love & concern that’s been pouring in since Tuesday. Although I’m much healthier than I was a year ago, complications arose from my most recent endometriosis surgery,” Lena wrote on Instagram. “When the healthcare of so many American women, especially our trans sisters, is at-risk- or already nonexistent- I am lucky to be in the position to seek help when I’m in pain.” She added: ‘To those in that privileged spot- never forget that we are blessed and can pay it forward by supporting Planned Parenthood and LGBTQ clinics like Callen-Lorde with our [money] and [time]. Dunham went on to offer words of encouragement to other women who are suffering from chronic illnesses: “I also want to remind all the women suffering from chronic illness that we aren’t weak- quite the opposite, actually. We do our jobs with skill even when we’re struggling. “We care families even when we can hardly care for ourselves. We serve major face on a red carpet when we feel like lying face down would be more appropriate.” Dunham went on to address recent the recent controversies at Fox News , pointing out that on-air personality Diana Falzone recently sued the network for allegedly discriminating against her as a result of her endometriosis diagnosis: “Just that morning @dianafalzone sued Fox after they took her off air for disclosing her endometriosis,” Dunham wrote. “But they’re the ones who lost when they fired her, because everyone who’s anyone knows that if you can battle chronic illness there’s nothing you can’t take on.” Powerful words from a powerful woman. Are you familiar with the DaddyOFive Youtube account and all of the insane drama surrounding it? If not, then sit back and prepare to be infuriated. DaddyOFive is a YouTube account belonging to Mike and Heather Martin, a Maryland couple who enjoys pranking their five children. Which sounds fine, right? Some good old-fashioned family fun , readily available for us to enjoy. But if you watch the videos — Mike’s deleted them all from his account, but other users have reposted them — you’ll see that the kids are not having fun. Far from it. For an example of the kind of people we’re talking about here, check out this video in which Heather decides to “prank” nine-year-old Cody by spilling disappearing ink all over some carpet. The idea is that she’ll blame Cody for the spill, freak him out a little, then reveal that it’s all a joke. But the execution … it’s actually pretty hard to watch. DaddyOFive Parents Prank Kids with Disappearing Ink She and Mike scream and curse at poor Cody and one of their other sons for four straight minutes, so much that the boys are left hysterical before learning that it was all meant to be a joke. Pretty twisted joke, really. In other videos, Mike destroys Cody’s X-Box with a sledgehammer as the boy cries, he pushes Cody down, and he follows Cody around with a camera as the poor little boy screams and begs him to leave him alone. In recent weeks, people have started paying a lot of attention to the family, even going so far as to create an online petition urging Maryland authorities to investigate Mike and Heather for child abuse. When the controversy first began, the Martins shrugged it off, making a since-deleted video about it all in which Mike said “This is how we run our house. This is our family.” Heather added that they’ve already been investigated for child abuse because of their YouTube channel, but nothing came of it. But once they saw that the outrage wasn’t going away, they changed their tune a bit, releasing a tearful public apology for their behavior. “This has been the absolute worst week of our life,” Heather says in the video, “and we realized that we have made some terrible parenting decisions.” It’s a little alarming that they made all these videos, that they were able to laugh as their kids screamed and cried, and that they’re just now realizing how terrible they are, but OK. They explained that when their videos started getting views, they decided to get crazier and crazier with their pranks to get more and more viewers. And though they seem to regret the things they’ve done to the kids (or at least like they’re willing to admit they’re wrong to save face), it’s too little, too late. On Friday, Rose Hall, the biological mother of Cody and 12-year-old Emma, received emergency custody of the two children. “They’re doing good,” Rose, who lost custody of the kids in 2014 after Mike and Heather allegedly forged her signature on some custody paperwork, said in a statement. “They’re getting back to their playful selves.” She added that it’s “very heartbreaking and disturbing to see my kids abused.” It’s unclear at this point how long she’ll keep custody, but the Martins are currently being investigated for any possible crimes related to their videos.
