It’s a girl for Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade! It’s also a major surprise for anyone who has been following the lives of this actress and her basketball-playing husband. On Thursday evening, Union shared three precious new photos on her Instagram page, announcing to the world that she and Wade had welcome a daughter via surrogate “A LOVELY DAY,” wrote Union, adding by way of confirmation: “We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. “Welcome to the party sweet girl!” This is the first child for Union, who has been very open in the past about her numerous miscarriages . Wade, meanwhile, has three sons (Xavier Zechariah, 5; Zion Malachi Airamis; 11; and Zaire Blessing Dwyane, 16) from a previous relationship — and he and Union are also raising his 17-year old nephew. In the memoir she released last year, “We’re Going to Need More Wine,” Union revealed she “had eight or nine miscarriages,” writing in the biography: “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant – I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle or coming out of an IVF cycle.” The couple got married in August of 2014 after dating for many years. Even after enduring those three years of failed IVF cycles and being so very bloated from the hormones at nearly all times, Union explained in her memoir that she and Wade “remain bursting with love and ready to do anything to meet the child we’ve both dreamed of.” And that day has finally now arrived. No information is available about the surrogate, as we would expect. And neither Wade nor Union revealed the name of their daughter nor any of her measurements. But who cares, right?!? She’s here!!!! Source: C Flanigan/Getty Images Demi Lovato Out Of Rehab Following Near-Fatal Drug Overdose Demi Lovato has been spotted out of rehab and we’re hoping it’s a solid sign that she is doing better. The famed singer had fans, friends, and family worried when she was rushed to a hospital after overdosing at her home in Los Angeles back in July. Now, in photos obtained by TMZ , she looks sober and happy. The site reports: Demi hit up Matsuhisa restaurant in Bev Hills Saturday night. We’re told she and a guy were having a great time inside the super expensive sushi joint, happy, smiling and laughing through dinner. We don’t know who the guy is … but she definitely had a great time with him. The mystery man seen in the photos with her is reportedly clothing designer, Henry Levy. Demi was in rehab for 90 days, beginning in August, and according to the site she took her time there very seriously. Before going through treatment, Demi addressed her fans in a statement . I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet. I want to thank God for keeping me alive and well. To my fans, I am forever grateful for all of your love and support throughout this past week and beyond. Your positive thoughts and prayers have helped me navigate through this difficult time. I want to thank my family, my team, and the staff at Cedars-Sinai who have been by my side this entire time. Without them I wouldn’t be here writing this letter to all of you. I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. Why has everything with Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson always happened so fast?! Their engagement, their breakup, the backlash from the breakup … It’s like everything has been happening in warp speed. Do they exist in some slightly different universe in which time moves at a different pace? Does being young and famous really make you wild and free enough to feel comfortable getting engaged to someone after a few seconds of dating? It’s hard to say what exactly has been going on, but boy, it sure has been a lot. As we all remember, Ariana and Pete got engaged in June after a few weeks of dating. They moved in together, they got tattoos together … like we said, it’s been a lot. Things seemed to be going great for them for a while, but last month, they suddenly split . At first, reports claimed that nothing major had happened between them, that they simply realized the timing wasn’t right. One would also imagine that the death of Mac Miller was so hard on Ariana that it must have been tough on their relationship. So it was a sort of amicable, “maybe we’ll get back together someday” kind of breakup, right? Yeah, not so much. Things took a swift turn a few days ago when Pete made a joke about Ariana in a Saturday Night Live promo. She could mean something different, of course, and it’s definitely possible that Mac Miller was the one who taught her pain, considering his heartbreaking addiction and subsequent death . But what’s neat about this song is that it isn’t a diss track at all. As she explains it in the lyrics, “I’ve loved and I’ve lost, but that’s not what I see / So look what I got, look what you taught me.” In the chorus, she sings “I’m so f-cking grateful for my ex,” which is really the whole vibe of this song. Well, that, and getting into another relationship now — this time, one with herself. After releasing the song, she hopped back on Twitter to discuss things with her fans, because she’s a doll like that. Now, the 73-year-old music legend has moved on with a 24-year-old girlfriend, Paris Dylan. The couple has made their relationship official by gushing about it on Instagram. Don McLean is a musician, best known for the album American Pie and particularly for the song of the same name. Paris Dylan is a Catfish alum who has been featured in Playboy and Maxim . They’ve made it very clear on social media that they are dating. “A dream with my love,” Paris captioned one recent photo. In another, she gushes, calling McLean the “love of my life.” In October, she wished him: “happy birthday my baby, my beauty, love of my life, my everything.” The pair of them have done a lot of traveling this year. The singer and his model girlfriend visited Germany, France, the UK, and Israel. While in France, Paris visited the city of the same name. The couple, as you can see in the photo above, posed in front of the Eiffel Tower. They also visited the Louvre. It’s unclear when their relationship officially began. As far back as November of 2016, Paris shared a photo of the two of them, but that’s not the same thing as dating. It was really in March of 2018 when the two of them seemed to be joined at the hip — almost literally — and posting a steady stream of photos. That is when the two were “linked,” but officially speaking, they were just pals. Now that they’ve both been gushing about each other and sharing the same photos on social media, we can comfortably call them a couple. Paris Dylan is a model who, as we mentioned, has posed for Playboy and Maxim . As you can see in every photo in which she appears, she certainly has the qualifications — and we mean that sincerely — for that kind of modeling. But she is really best known for appearing in a wildly elaborate episode of Catfish . That particular episode, as you may recall, involved NBA star Chris “Birdman” Andersen. Now she’s traveling the world with a music legend and, from what she rights on social media, both deeply in love and enjoying each country she visits. The couple’s age gap spans nearly 50 years. People can have a cynical view towards relationships that feature massive age gaps. A lot of the time, there’s a pattern. Often, there’s a very unbalanced power dynamic that favors the party who is older, wealthier, more famous, and male. Some may view Paris Dylan as either a lucky groupie, someone being exploited in their search for stability, or even a predator taking advantage of an older man. We would prefer to reserve judgment until there is any indication that this is something other than a relationship between two people born at very different times. So far, there are no hints that anyone involved is in any way unhappy. Until that changes, let’s leave well enough alone. Maybe we can even be happy for them.
