People Ain’t Isht: “Funny” Singer Croons Offensive Song About Mike Brown’s Death At Cops Charity Event [Video]

You CANNOT be f***ing serious According to TMZ reports : The Glendale, CA Elks Lodge is investigating a shocking incident that went down in the club a week ago Monday, when a performer sang a song celebrating the death of Michael Brown … for an audience that included a number of retired and current cops … and TMZ has the video. The song was a parody of “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown.” Gary Fishell, the performer and a member of the Lodge, changed the lyrics, which include: Michael Brown learned a lesson about a messin’ With a badass policeman And he’s bad, bad Michael Brown Baddest thug in the whole damn town Badder than old King Kong Meaner than a junkyard dog Two men took to fightin’ And Michael punched in through the door And Michael looked like some old Swiss cheese His brain was splattered on the floor And he’s dead, dead Michael Brown Deadest man in the whole damn town His whole life’s long gone Deader than a roadkill dog The event was the capper for a charity golf event, thrown by retired LAPD Officer Joe Myers, a 32 year veteran who left the force in 2007. We’re told 50-60 people attended the dinner, and about half were cops, most of whom were retired. The others were civilians. Singer Gary Fishell is a P.I. who once worked as an investigator for the Federal Government. His lawyer tells TMZ, Fishell now realizes the song was “off color and in poor taste.” The lawyer adds, “He’s a goofball who writes funny songs.” We asked why Fishell would sing this in a room full of cops, and the lawyer replied, “He thought the room would get a kick out of it.” 2014 doesn’t have any more f***s left to give. Nicki Minaj Opens Up On Former Engagement, Reveals Losing A Baby At Age 15 On New Track “All Things Go”

Wow…this is the most personal we’ve heard Nicki get… Nicki Minaj Reveals Engagement And Teenage Pregnancy On New Track Nicki Miniaj is sitting her booty bouncing antics aside and digging deeper on her latest track. The intensely private MC is opening up on family, relationships, and even a pregnancy she experienced as a teenager on a recently linked single off her hotly anticipated The Pink Print album , entitled “All Things Go.” The leaked track has been snatched down from most media outlets due to a copyright issue, but you can peep the lyrics here. Via Billboard : Nicki Minaj is one to keep her private life private, but on her third studio album, The Pinkprint, the rapper is laying bare. She opens her third The Pinkprint with one of her most vulnerable and sincere songs to date, “All Things Go.” “All Things Go” — produced by Boi-1day, Vinylz, and Allen Ritter and co-written by Ester Dean — features Minaj speaking candidly verse by verse. On the first verse, the 31-year-old rapper admits to hesitantly accepting a proposal 10 years ago (“Ten years ago was when you proposed/ I looked down… ‘Yes, I suppose’”), while on the second verse she addresses her little cousin’s death, which still haunts her (“Ni–as trying to kill him/ He ain’t even call me/ And that’s a reflection of me, yes I get it, I get it was all me/ I’ll pop a pill and remember the look in his eyes the last day he saw me”). On third verse, she details why she’s protective over her relationship with her mother and brothers, including her younger brother Caiah (“The more I work, the more I feel like somehow they’re neglected”). She closes the verse revealing that she lost a baby of hers and her ex’s 16 years ago. (“ My child with Aaron would have been 16, any minute / So in some ways I feel like Caiah is the both of them/ It’s like he’s Caiah’s little angel, looking over him”). Wow. Nicki is getting a whole lot more introspective than usual for this new track. We wonder what other surprises she has up her sleeve for the rest of The Pink Print …

Katy Perry in a Nightgown of the Day

Katy Perry posted this pic of herself in bed in a nightgown – and I don’t really know what to think about it – because for years I’ve hated on Katy Perry for being this low rent, yet insanely successful viral popstar in this new generation of music….I hated that I knew the lyrics to her songs without ever listening to her songs…and I hated the noise that game with her…but I always loved her tits, they were her one redeeming factor, and seeing them like this, in bed…is almost romantic and beautiful…even when I hate everything it fucking represents….but I hate how much I like it even more…

Nicki Minaj Pops Booty, Talks Life as Nicki Minaj in V

Nicki Minaj is doing what she does best in the latest issue of V Magazine: Popping her rear end. Keeping it real. First, in a spread snapped by photographer Mario Testino, the female rapper shows off her rather impressive asset: Then, she tells the publication about why her lyrics are sometimes considered controversial. “I always push the envelope because I’m Nicki Minaj. I have to,” she says. “No matter who I’m on a song with, I feel like I have to say at least one thing that no one else is willing to say. “Whether it’s Madonna or [ Britney Spears ] or Beyoncé, they always tell me, ‘YES. Be yourself. Talk your s–t.” Of course, as a result, plenty of s–t has been talked about Minaj by her critics. But this doesn’t mean Nicki doesn’t see herself as a role model. “I love women who take control, who set standards, and who believe in themselves enough to lead the way in terms of their career. I’ve done that. When I win and when I lose, I take ownership of it, because I really am in charge of what I do. “There are a lot of strong male rappers, who’ve influenced me a great deal in terms of my skill, my flow, and my business-savvy side. But at the end of the day, I still want to inspire women.” This issue of V hits newsstands on November 13, while the new Nicki Minaj album , “The Pinkprint”, comes out on November 24. “You can expect a great intro piece that really walks you through where my mind has been the past two years, and there’s a strong love and relationship section that has been lacking lately on the radio,” she says of the CD. “It’s not the glossy stuff, but the nitty-gritty, the fights, the heartbreaking things that people don’t really touch on in rap. And for my core, I have the hard s–t. It’s the stuff that makes everyone excited and gives them the stink face in the room, and makes people bop super hard.” 13 Nicki Minaj Music Video GIFs from “Anaconda” 1. New Video: Merna “Better Run” Off Her New Album The Calling [Video]

We remember when she went by Ayah! Merna Releases New Video For “Better Run”, New Album “The Calling” We love introducing you guys to new music and we wanted to let you know about a new album out from a Palestinian born artist named Merna, who previously released several projects under the name Ayah. Besides the video which we posted above (what do you think?) she’s got a whole new album coming out, appropriately titled The Calling Here’s some info about it: In this vast universe, nothing is static. Everything has the unlimited capacity for change. Palestinian born and Toronto-based singer/songwriter Merna (formerly known as Ayah) blissfully spreads her wings in a space and time where evolution is imminent. After creating magical soundscapes with the likes of DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jill Scott) and James Poyser (The Roots), she brazenly forays into uncharted sonic territory and with her dynamic opus The Calling featuring stellar production by Makai Black and executive producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest, Lucy Pearl). Evolution never sounded so sweet. On The Calling, Merna skillfully sheds the skin of her former self, makes peace with the ghosts of her past, and culls a masterpiece in the process. The Calling is equal parts redemption and testimony, chronicling a young woman’s journey to self love, acceptance, and strength. On the suggestion of Jazzy Jeff, Merna shifted her creative process to spend more time on the lyrics and pure intention of her songs. He said, ‘Ayah, you write amazing songs in 20 minutes. Can you imagine what would happen if you took more time?’ And with the help of producers Makai Black and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, the ambitious sketches of The Calling began to take shape. The album finds Merna stretching out on sonic beds that cull from her wide range of musical influences. Merna explains, “Musically I always aim to break my own ground and delve a little more into my history and things that I’ve been influenced by. There are drums on this album that are African and Arab inspired. Not a lot of people know that my first ever band in Abu Dhabi was a rock band, and that I’m classically trained in piano.” Thematically, the album sources the raw and honest introspection she’d been experiencing while in New York City. Moving between Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Seattle, and Toronto during her formative years proved to be a gift and a curse. Citing separation anxiety as a crippling force in certain areas of her life, Merna miraculously decided to break from a part of herself that she’d taken years to cultivate: Ayah. She chose to relinquish Ayah for Merna, her birth name which means ‘beloved’ in Arabic. The Calling opens with “Young & Reckless,” an edgy anthem outlining the self indulgent tendencies of contemporary youth culture. “Intervention (Superman)” finds Merna floating on a blissful cloud of blind faith against a sky of drums and soaring strings. The album hits poignant note on “All I Want (I Wonder),” which was inspired by one of hip-hop’s most beloved outcasts: Andre 3000. But the song’s deeper meaning points to the increasingly desensitized state of the general populous. Merna takes a crash course in trip hop on the Ali Shaheed Muhammad-produced “The Reason.” The song magnificently shifts gears in syncopation and crescendo, birthing the makings of a dynamic new world opera. Merna and Ali Shaheed Muhammad return on a hopeful note with the shimmering “A Little More,” an earthy piano ballad that rings with enough soul wrenching passion to give Adele a run for her money – produced by Ali Shaheed Muhammad. with piano by Raymond Angry Though the creative process for The Calling involved a deep purging of emotions and vulnerability, the result is a monumental work of art that is destined to be one of the most talked about albums of the year. An album that offers us a glimpse at the evolution of one of the most brilliant artists in recent history. She says, “This album is so personal, I’m always evolving as a person. Ayah is still me. She’s just a part of me. Merna is coming full circle. Every single part of my life connected.” Our favorite track is probably “Young & Reckless.” Do you like what you’ve heard so far?
