Game will talk beef and album updates, while Diddy will swing through to make a special announcement, at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Rob Markman Game Photo: Jason LaVeris/ FilmMagic Game has been making a lot of noise lately, and on Wednesday, the West Coast MC will continue to make headlines when he appears on MTV’s “RapFix Live” at 4 p.m. ET. With the release date for his oft-delayed The R.E.D. Album fast approaching, the Los Angeles rapper is making waves, first on his jarring “Uncle Otis” track, on which he poked fun at everyone from Jay-Z and Kreayshawn to Marc Anthony. Opening the song going directly at Jigga, the Game spat, “N—as be chasing they youth, but it’s gone/ Yo, ‘Ye, this n—a ain’t even wanna put you on.” He later took swipes at inaccuracies in the lyrics of Big Sean’s hit-single “My Last.” “You turned around and put on Sean/ But forgot to tell him Beni Han Han don’t sell no f—ing won ton.” It hasn’t been all controversial, however: Last week, fans got a taste of Game’s “Drug Test,” which features Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, and on Monday, he leaked his Hood Morning (No Typo): (Candy Coronas) mixtape. On Wednesday, Game will talk about all his latest developments with Sway on the “RapFix” couch. Diddy will also check into the show with a very special announcement, and there is no telling what the Bad Boy head honcho has up his sleeve. Jay-Z and Kanye’s Watch the Throne August 8 release date is less than one week away, and the anticipation and buzz has been steadily building. On Monday, the duo played the album for a select crowd in the American Museum of Natural History’s Hayden Planetarium in New York City, and on Tuesday morning (August 2), pre-sale tickets for the Throne ‘s upcoming tour went on sale. In this week’s episode, Sway will deliver all the latest WTT news. You don’t want to miss it. Visit MTV.com on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET to watch Game and special guest Diddy on “RapFix Live”! “Yeah, so what I was sayin’ was… your lyrics really inspired me…” “You know especially that one song… what was it called? Oochie Wally!?! Yeah that was my sh*t!” At least that’s how we imagine this conversation going between hip-hop man banger Nas and uh… his athletic apparel and embellished nail rockin’ companion. Nas was spotted waiting for his car at the valet station in front of Urth Cafe in West Hollywood. We thought maybe she might be his trainer or workout partner or something but based on the footwork, we’re gonna say naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Nas if that’s your cousin or something, we apologize — but if so maybe it’s time to advise shorty to handle them crusty toes. WENN

Back to Black singer’s story littered with substance abuse and arrests. By Jocelyn Vena Amy Winehouse ‘s success as an artist was equally matched by her trouble with substance abuse and the law. Shortly after releasing her star-making 2006 album, Back to Black , the London-born singer became a tabloid fixture, with the press constantly covering her professional ups as well as her personal downs. On Saturday, the singer was found dead in her London apartment. While she had been a staple of the British music scene since releasing her debut album, Frank , in 2003, it was her 2006 album that launched her as an international star and ushered in a new sound that harked back to the girl-group days of the ’50s and ’60s, leading to a number of copy-cat artists releasing albums around the same time. 2007 On her 2006 track “Rehab,” Winehouse chronicled her love of partying hard and her defiance to seek help for it, setting a course for the issues in her personal life. Midyear, Winehouse’s camp began denying the singer had a substance-abuse problem, as she began to cancel dates , a string of events that would become commonplace in her short-lived career. Even as the issues in her personal life began to cause speculation, her music career was thriving, with accolades flowing in from rappers like Jay-Z, who began remixing her songs, broadening her appeal to a wider spectrum of audiences beyond retro-leaning hipsters. But her legal troubles would make just as many headlines as her award wins and chart-topping success. In August 2007, she was arrested for marijuana possession , with her equally troubled husband, Blake Fielder-Civil , by her side in Norway. Before the year’s end, she would also have Visa problems and health issues , making shows hard to keep. 2008 As professional accolades flowed in, evidence of her drug problems became more and more evident. In January 2008, a video surfaced allegedly showing the singer smoking crack . Weeks later, she would check into rehab . In February, she wasn’t be able to attend the Grammys after her Visa was denied, however she did appear via satellite . At the show, she took home five trophies, including the big prize, Record of the Year . As 2008 rolled along, authorities continually questioned the singer in a number of cases, including an assault case in April and a drug-related arrest in May tied to the video of her allegedly doing drugs. Those charges were later dropped. In June of that year, she went public with the news that she had an early stage of emphysema , as her confirmed by her father, who became her mouthpiece and her biggest supporter in the face of her personal adversities. Later in the year, she hit the stage again in shows that were both redeeming and disastrous . 2009 Things did not slow down for Winehouse in 2009. Her husband filed for divorce in January of that year, and in March, she had to cancel her Coachella set after being charged with assault in connection with a 2008 incident. Regardless of her legal and health issues, she kept booking gigs, though not necessarily to successful results. She walked out early on a gig in St. Lucia in May. By July, she was officially divorced and acquitted on the 2008 assault charges . Her big public appearance was at the U.K.’s V Festival in August. However, by December, she was once again charged with assault in connection with another incident at a theater in the U.K. where she heckled a performance of “Cinderella” and reportedly assaulted theater manager Richard Pound, who complained that Winehouse had pulled his hair, punched him and kicked him when he asked her to move seats. 2010 After laying low for a good part of 2010, Winehouse appeared at a gig for her producer Mark Ronson in London, where she messed up the lyrics to their track “Valerie” and was seen drinking and being boisterous offstage. Despite the antics, she promised new music by early 2011 , a promise she did not keep. 2011 Her last stint in rehab was reportedly in May 2011, however, her attempts to get clean never truly helped her battle her demons. At a disastrous show in Belgrade in June, she showed up more than an hour late, then repeatedly left the stage mid-performance, forgot lyrics to her songs and even dropped a microphone. Shortly after, the singer canceled more tour dates . On Saturday, Winehouse was found dead at age 27, just five weeks after her last show, leaving behind a legacy of fame for both her musical influence and her troubles. Clip shows ‘Friday’ singer making TV appearances, walking red carpets. By Jocelyn Vena Rebecca Black in her “My Moment” music video Photo: RB Friday, Inc Have you heard that this is Rebecca Black’s moment ? Well, in case you haven’t, she’s happily declaring it in her video for her latest single, “My Moment.” The song is all about empowerment and addressing all those haters who didn’t necessarily get her last viral smash, “Friday.” The video opens with the teen singer in a recording studio putting the final touches on the cutesy song, which opens with the lyrics, “Were you the one who said that I would be nothing?/ Well, I’m about to prove you wrong/ I’m not the only one who believes in something/ My one wish is about to come true.” Scenes of her in the studio are intercut with a montage of her making TV appearances, strutting down red carpets, driving around Hollywood and greeting fans. The feel-good theme of the track continues on the chorus, with Black declaring, “This is my moment, my moment/ It’s my time, flying high, lime, mine/ Feels like my moment, my moment, I’ve waited for so long/ But now everybody knows this is my moment, my moment.” Next, Rebecca takes her fans to the makeup chair, where she’s getting all gussied up, and to dance rehearsals, which eventually become a full-on dance break as she hits the floor with “So You Think You Can Dance” finalists Robert Roldan and Kent Boyd. Then she’s in a limo in a big red dress, her name on the marquee; this time the red carpet is all hers. The song was written by Brandon “Blue” Hamilton (Justin Bieber) and Quinton Tolbert, and the production credits include Charlton Pettus. Black is also finishing up her five-track EP, which will be released in August. Related Videos MTV News Extended Play: Rebecca Black
