Jay-Z Talks Solange Dotting His Eye In The Elevator, Losing Bey, And Airs Out ‘Ye On 4:44

Jay-Z Adresses Rumors on New Album Jay-Z is known to remain relatively mum on the headlines about his personal life …even to the point of his wife making an entire album about him cheating and her journey to forgiveness and opting not to say a single word. But uncle Hov let all his feelings fly on his highly anticipated 13th album release, 4:44 . After it dropped at midnight on July 30, fans instantly began dissecting his lyrics and finding perhaps one of his most personal projects ever. Jay jumps out of the gate on the album’s first track, “Kill Jay-Z” attacking some of the issues that have been floating out there in the media for years now. He’s talking to his ego, and even dips by the subject of his “insane” Little Brother ‘Ye lashing out at him last year … You dropped outta school, you lost your principles I know people backstab you, I feel bad too But this ‘f*ck everybody’ attitude ain’t natural But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye You gave him 20 million without blinkin’ He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin’? “F*ck wrong with everybody?” is what you sayin’ But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane He even addrressed that lil elevator situation between him and Solange, saying that his actions not only egged her on, but almost cost him Bey… You egged Solange on Knowin’ all along, all you had to say you was wrong You almost went Eric Benét Let the baddest girl in the world get away I don’t even know what else to say Nigga, never go Eric Benét I don’t even know what you woulda done In the future, other niggas playin’ football with your son In the album’s title track, 4:44 , he even responds to Lemonade and goes on record apologizing to Beyonce for risking it all to spend time with Becky instead of focusing on his soul mate. And if my children knew, I don’t even know what I would do If they ain’t look at me the same I would prolly die with all the shame “You did what with who?” What good is a ménage à trois when you have a soulmate? “You risked that for Blue?” Well, get personal with it then, Jay. Woman Goes on Horrific Anti-Muslim Rant, Claims It Was Taken Out of Context

Look, we know we're in some dark times right now. But apparently these times are so dark that some people feel comfortable spewing ridiculously hateful things at another person while in line at the grocery store, just because that person happens to be a Muslim. Seriously, that happened. In a Trader Joe's in Reston, Virginia, a Muslim woman was waiting in line, and when she saw another woman with just a few items in her cart, she allowed her to go ahead of her. The woman promptly began talking trash about another Muslim woman in the store, one wearing a niqab. She asked the Muslim woman in line why she wasn't also covered up. She explained to her that it was a choice, but apparently that wasn't good enough. The other lady began talking about female genital mutilation (???) and that's when the phone came out. You can see the next part of the conversation in the video below. The poor harassed woman says “I shouldn't have let you in front of me,” and after taking a moment to think of a comeback, Ol' Crazy says “I wish they didn't let you in the country.” She goes on to tell her that “Obama's not in office anymore” — like she'd missed the memo — and that “You don't have a Muslim in there anymore.” “He's gone, he's gone. He may be in jail too, in the future.” It's all a little too insane to handle, and of course the woman comes off looking like a racist psycho. But she's actually speaking out to local news stations. In one statement, she claimed that her comments in the video were taken out of context. She said that the Muslim woman who filmed the exchange “ambushed” her with “strong statements” about the U.S. being “full of murderers and rapists,” and so she just responded to that. Yeah, sounds like a solid story. See the conversation in the video below:

Chilli from TLC Says All Lives Matter, and Twitter Can’t Deal

Remember when TLC was the ultimate in girl groups , when songs like “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs” were the songs of a generation? According to Twitter, those days are officially over. See, in a new interview, TLC’s Chilli and T-Boz (RIP Left Eye) were asked about the Black Lives Matter movement, and if they felt strongly about it or attended any marches. Chilli answered with “I personally didn’t go into any marches, or anything like that, but for me, all lives matter, you know what I mean?” If you’re not aware, it’s important to note at this point that responding to anything about Black Lives Matter with “all lives matter” is seriously frowned upon by many, many people . “There is a time when different groups are targets for different things,” Chilli said to further explain her stance. “So I just think that, just the whole … you know … what happened with the police brutality against these young black boys and stuff like that, all of that kind of stuff is wrong, even if it was a caucasian teen kid that this was happening to or whatever.” “It’s just not right.” She added that perhaps people in positions with authority should be subject to more thorough background checks, and a “mental stability kind of check” to see if they’re fit for that kind of work. Interestingly enough, the ladies were also asked about Donald Trump, and T-Boz said that she doesn’t care about him. “God is my president,” she said, “so I just feel sorry for the people it affects, but I don’t care about him.” As an American, T-Boz, you’re the people it affects . Girl. Right, so TLC did this bizarre interview, then Twitter found out about it. And it did not go over well. “Please stick to the rivers and the lane that you’re used to,” one person tweeted in an adorable play on the lyrics to “Waterfalls.” Another savagely wrote “The caucasian scenario Chilli made up doesn’t happen, so she’s canceled, & I’m glad Usher cheated on her, music wouldn’t be the same.” “How are TLC, proud pioneers of social consciousness in the 90s, gon’ be so ignorant on the Black Lives Matter movement,” one sad soul wondered. “Beyond disappointed.” A patient Twitter user took the time to explain “Chilli has missed the point. We know all lives matter. The title is supposed to be sarcastically ‘Black Lives Matter TOO.'” As for the late, great Left Eye, one person that she is “rolling in her grave. She would never.” What a mess. Are you as troubled by TLC’s comments as the rest of the internet seems to be? View Slideshow: 18 Celebrities Who Think #BlackLivesMatter

Saturday Night Live Blows Viewers Away with Cold Open

There are many questions American citizens now have with Donald Trump having been elected the 45th President of their country. Will he deport law-abiding immigrants? Will he build a wall? Will he ban Muslims from the country? Will he last a full term in office ? And also this: How would Saturday Night Live react to his election? The last question was answered this weekend… in truly memorable fashion. The NBC sketch series opened last night with Kate McKinnon dressed as Hillary Clinton. But there were no witty lines of dialogue. There were no tears being cried. There was no interaction with Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump Instead, McKinnon simply say at a piano and sang the song “Hallelujah.” This was especially poignant because Leonard Cohen died this week, leaving this world as the man responsible for having written that iconic ballad. At the end of her rendition, McKinnon turned to the camera, and as Clinton, told viewers “I’m not giving up, and neither should you.” It was an amazing decision by Saturday Night Live. Some people are comparing McKinnon’s version here to when Paul Simon sang “The Boxer” on SNL’s first episode after 9/11 Watch the performance for yourself. Saturday Night Live Cold Open Why did “Hallelujah” feel like the perfect track for the moment? Check out the lyrics below and perhaps you’ll understand: Now I’ve heard there was a secret chord/That David played, and it pleased the Lord/But you don’t really care for music, do you? It goes like this/The fourth, the fifth/The minor fall, the major lift/ The baffled king composing Hallelujah. Hallelujah/Hallelujah/Hallelujah/Hallelujah. Your faith was strong but you needed proof/You saw her bathing on the roof/Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew her/She tied you/To a kitchen chair/She broke your throne, and she cut your hair. And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah. Hallelujah/Hallelujah/Hallelujah/Hallelujah. You say I took the name in vain/I don’t even know the name/But if I did, well really, what’s it to you? There’s a blaze of light/In every word/It doesn’t matter which you heard/ The holy or the broken Hallelujah Hallelujah/Hallelujah/Hallelujah/Hallelujah. I did my best, it wasn’t much/I couldn’t feel, so I tried to touch/I’ve told the truth, I didn’t come to fool you/And even though/ It all went wrong/ I’ll stand before the Lord of Song With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah.

Donald Trump Bashes Beyonce, Jay Z as Profane, Pathetic

Donald Trump has really done it now. Sure, you might think this ignorant, racist, anti-Semitic monster had ruined his chance to be elected President of the United States way back when he referred to Mexicans as “rapists.” Or maybe you thought he doomed himself by picking a fight with a former beauty pageant winner… or telling Billy Bush that he just grabs the pussy of any woman he wants. Or perhaps you believed his Presidential hopes were dashed when 12 women came forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct. But Trump committed his worst offense of all on Saturday: he insulted Beyonce. After Beyonce and Jay Z campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton this weekend, performing a bit prior to bringing the Democratic nominee on stage, Trump told supporters in Nevada that he was aghast of their lyrics. “I’ve never said what [Jay Z] said in my life,” Trump said in his speech, never specifically referring to any of the rapper’s lyrics. “He used every word in the book last night,” Trump continued. “He used language last night that was so bad and then Hillary said, ‘I did not like Donald Trump’s lewd language.’ My lewd language. I tell you what, I’ve never said what he said in my life.” Trump is using a similar argument here that some of his defenders tried out back after the Bully Bush video went viral. He’s claiming that Clinton and other critics of his are hypocritical because he may have used some “locker room” type of language on various occasions.. … but Clinton is friends with celebrities who have said much worse things in their professional or personal lives. Here. Take a look at the video below to see a hilarious example of a Republican defending Trump via this same warped logic: Betsy McCaughey Reads Beyonce Lyrics, Slams Hillary Clinton Jay Z performed a number of his hit songs Friday night, and, yes, some of the lyrics uttered were the N-word, F-word and motherf—–, although he did self-censor at certain points.  Let’s ignore the fact that footage exists of Trump himself dropping at least two of these words himself on the campaign trail. And let’s focus on the fact that there’s a slight difference between Trump bragging about his own treatment of women – and an artist singing broadly about the opposite sex. Must we really point that out? Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, also accused Clinton of hypocrisy, referring Twitter followers to Clinton’s claim that “our children are listening” in her criticisms of the Republican nominee. “Because our children are listening” right Hillary? Jay Z drops the n-word, f-bomb during concert for Hillary Clinton,” Conway wrote on social media yesterday, linking to a story about Jay Z’s use of profanity during the concert. Elsewhere, Trump also noted during a rally in Reno that he didn’t bring any “so-called stars along” with him the trail. “We didn’t need them,” he told the crowd at a rally in Reno on Saturday. “The reason Hillary has to do that is, nobody comes for her. She can’t fill a room. “That’s almost like a form of cheating, right?” No, wrong.  Trump had Scott Baio and Antonio Sabato Jr. speaking out for him at the Republican National Convention this summer. It’s not cheating just because Clinton’s supporters are more famous.
