Britney Spears’ ‘Inside Out’: More Leaks!

Spears wants one more tryst with her ex on the Femme Fatale song. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images Last month, Britney Spears teased a snippet of her Femme Fatale track “Inside Out.” Now, a bit more of the sexy track, including some of the song’s reported lyrics, has hit the Net. In the new 30-second teaser for the song, posted on MuuMuse.com , fans are given a taste of not only part of the chorus, but also part of one of the song’s bridges, which features a booming mid-tempo beat. Spears, in her signature style, sings, “You touch me and it’s breaking me down/ and me down, and me down, and me down/ I’m telling you, let’s just give it up and get down/ and get down, and get down …” On the breakup track’s chorus, she sings, “So come on/ Won’t you give me something to remember?/ Baby shut your mouth and turn me inside out/ Even though we couldn’t last forever, baby.” Other lyrics seem like a switched-up version of those previously released. Neither set of lyrics has been confirmed as the album version. “Said you’re gonna be here in a minute/ Sitting in the mirror getting pretty/ Gotta look my best if we’re gonna break up/ Gotta look my best if we’re gonna break up,” the reported lyrics read. The lyrics go on, “I can hear you knocking at the front door/ And I know exactly what you came for/ Try to say goodbye but it’s hot and heavy.” The previously reported lyrics were: “Said you’re gonna be here in two minutes/ Sitting in the mirror getting ready/ Gotta look my best if I wanna break up/ Gotta look my best if I wanna break up/ I can hear you knocking at the back door/ And I know exactly what you’re here for/ Trying to say goodbye but I’m not that ready.” Related Videos MTV First: Britney Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ Premiere Related Photos Britney Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ Pop-Culture References Related Artists Britney Spears

Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’ Is Third-Highest-Grossing Documentary Of All Time

Insiders say film could get nominated in documentary category at next year’s Oscars. By Gil Kaufman Justin Bieber in “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” Photo: Paramount Pictures The kid is hot. First, Justin Bieber became the first person since, well, himself to land two albums in the top five on the Billboard 200, and now his 3-D movie, “Never Say Never,” has vaulted into the #3 position on the list of top-grossing documentaries of all time. According to Box Office Mojo , “Never” has grossed $64,162,036 to date, putting it on track to possibly overtake the #2 doc of all time, “March of the Penguins,” which grossed more than $77 million. It’s unlikely to knock off the top documentary of all time, Michael Moore’s 2004 flick “Fahrenheit 9/11,” which rolled up $119 million, but with the “Never” director’s cut re-release last weekend (which brought in another $9 million), Bieber is positioned to conquer yet another medium. In his run to the top, Bieber has leaped over such lauded and popular docs as “Super Size Me,” Madonna’s “Truth or Dare,” Moore’s “Bowling for Columbine,” former Vice President Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” and the nature flick “Earth.” It also took the crown for the biggest opening weekend of any documentary , with a $29.5 million first weekend, squeezing past the $23 million open of “Fahrenheit.” Hollywood may end up catching Bieber Fever as well, with The Hollywood Reporter asking in a recent article whether “Never” could land the 17-year-old phenom a spot at the Oscars next year. A source told the trade magazine that “Never” had serious buzz at some post-Oscar parties thanks to its healthy grosses, which have impressed some Academy members. “You’d be surprised at the caliber of people who came up to Justin at the Vanity Fair party at the Sunset Tower, most of whom had seen the movie and loved it,” said an unnamed insider. “There was even talk of putting it up for an Oscar next year in the documentary category. People appreciate that it’s not just a kids’ movie.” The article mentioned that Bieber was one of the brightest stars at the Fair party, chatting up Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger and working the room like a pro. Lady Gaga’s ‘Judas’ Video Will Be ‘A Roller-Coaster Ride,’ Creative Director Says

‘I’m so excited for how riveting, energetic and electric the record is, something really phenomenal,’ Laurieann Gibson says. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage It’s an exciting time to be a Lady Gaga fan. This week, the pop star released her much-anticipated “Born This Way” video and walked the runway and previewed her track “Government Hooker” at a Thierry Mugler fashion show. And now there are a few more details about her next Born This Way single, “Judas,” and its video. “We’re already getting ready to go into rehearsal [for the video]. She’s like, ‘I’m all ready to start ‘Judas’!’ She’s ready,” Gaga’s creative director Laurieann Gibson told MTV News. “And ‘Judas’ is exciting for me because we had this amazing artistic approach to ‘BTW’ and I’m so excited for how riveting, energetic and electric the record is, something really phenomenal. So, visually, the dance, the costuming, the idea of how big we’re trying to go, [it’s] going to be a roller-coaster ride.” “There is [a director in mind],” Gibson continued, adding that nothing about the video will be ordinary. “What is a traditional music video? Even if we go with a traditional music video, the directors that we love are not traditional, so the idea that they get to collaborate with us means they too want to live outside of what people expect a traditional music video to be.” As for the sound of the song, Fernando Garibay , one of the musical directors on the album, opened up about the RedOne-produced dance tune. “It’s a statement about, again I can’t speak for her, but what I gather is it’s about sometimes not choosing the right choice,” he explained. “But you can’t deny that the choice is not a part of you and who you are. ” ‘Judas’ is a dance song, definitely,” he continued. “I think ‘Judas’ is in the traditional RedOne/Gaga vein. It’s great because it’s a serious message, it’s a little playful, but still serious, but still somehow you wind up dancing to it. That’s what’s great about her music. You know, like, my favorite song of all time, dance song, ‘Billie Jean,’ is a story you wouldn’t think of singing, but then you wind up dancing and singing the lyrics. I think that’s the Holy Grail of music for me, which is dance.” Gaga shared lyrics from “Judas” last month, and Gaga’s pal and stylist Nicola Formichetti reposted those lyrics on Twitter late Thursday. “I’m just a Holy Fool, oh baby he’s so cruel, but I’m still in love with Judas, Baby,” he wrote, adding, “JUDAS FASHION. so excited i can’t sleep!” Related Videos MTV News Extended Play: Lady Gaga Creative Director Laurieann Gibson Related Photos The Evolution Of: Lady Gaga Related Artists Lady Gaga

‘American Idol’ Top 12 Men: Jacob Lusk And Casey Abrams Soar

James Durbin and Scotty McCreery also stand out in front of live audience. By Gil Kaufman Steven Tyler holds up his swear sign on “American Idol” Tuesday Photo: FOX By the time the top 12 men on “American Idol” make it to the big stage, it’s usually pretty easy to tell who is in it to win it and who is going to be going home after one week in the IdolDome. And Tuesday night (March 1) was no exception, with some of this season’s standouts proving again that they have their eye on the prize. While Casey Abrams and Jacob Lusk soared, James Durbin brought the rock thunder and Scotty McCreery did his country thing, dawg. And, for the first time in “Idol” history, fans could also vote online for their favorite singer. Karaoke host Clint Jun Gamboa got things started with a conservative pick, Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition,” putting his soulful touch on the song thanks to some falsetto gospel wailing and hip-hop-esque dancing. Steven Tyler dubbed it “beautiful” and “brilliant,” and Jennifer Lopez said even with some jitters at the start, Gamboa nailed it. “There’s no karaoke singer in the world that’s got that vocal talent,” Randy Jackson added. Beefcake shipyard worker Jovany Barreto settled in to what will likely be his soft pocket, a pillowy, eyelash-batting swing through Edwin McCain’s “I’ll Be,” which he turned into a Celine Dion-worthy seduction play with smooth, clean vocals. Once again, Tyler and Lopez fawned, though Randy just didn’t get it, saying it was karaoke and didn’t have any unique spark. Another Down South singer, Jordan Dorsey, went a different route, stripping off his suit jacket while over-enunciating the lyrics to Usher’s “OMG” in a performance that was at once jittery and self-assured. Lopez said he picked the wrong song and should have gone with a more mellow Nat King Cole-like tune, and Randy once again said it didn’t bring anything new, in addition to being pitchy and a bit off. It was a stroll through Rob Thomas’ uplifting “Streetcorner Serenade” for Tim Halperin, who hit the notes but failed to show much personality on the bland rock-lite tune. In his first negative comments of the night, Tyler lamented that the song didn’t do Halperin much justice and that he failed to show his strength. It’s been a wild, emotional ride for bully target Brett Loewenstern , but he brought his whole quirky bag of tricks to the Doors’ “Light My Fire.” What began as a sedate jazzy come-on turned into a showcase for his show-tune-worthy upper range and budding showmanship. “Brett, man, you did it again,” Tyler enthused, while J.Lo lauded B.Lo’s profuse hair-tossing, saying it was more tress-work than hers and Beyonc

Lady Gaga Brings Monster Ball Home To New York

Madison Square Garden performance recorded for HBO special. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga performs at Madison Square Garden on Monday Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage NEW YORK — Lady Gaga took her Monster Ball home Monday night, hitting the Madison Square Garden stage for not only the second show of this leg of her tour, but also the first of two tapings for her forthcoming HBO special. Check out photos from Lady Gaga’s New York City show. After a rousing set from the Scissor Sisters, the arena’s lights dimmed and the crowd went crazy as the chugging beat of “Dance in the Dark” played, counting down Mother Monster’s entrance. “New York City, did you guys come to party tonight?” she asked as she appeared. “The Monster Ball will set you free.” In a sheer dress and nun’s habit, Gaga performed “Love Game.” “My name is Lady Gaga, and I was born and raised in the unbreakable streets of New York City,” she proclaimed. “Thank you so much. Tonight, I want you to forget all of your insecurities because I didn’t used to be brave but you have made me brave, little monsters.” She then kicked it old school with “Boys Boys Boys.” “Are we gonna get divided now if I put this on?” she asked before pulling on a Yankees cap. After a quick chat with a fan, she went right into “Telephone,” without an appearance from Beyonc

‘American Idol’ Judges Show Jacee Badeaux Some ‘Mercy’

The 15-year-old ‘Idol’ hopeful flubbed lyrics after being tossed from group but pluck pushes him through. By Adam Graham Jacee Badeaux at “American Idol” Hollywood Week Photo: FOX Jacee Badeaux doesn’t have typical “American Idol” looks or style, but he’s fast becoming a favorite in season 10 of the competition. Badeaux, the portly 15-year-old viewers were first introduced to when he blew the judges away with his unexpectedly soulful take on Otis Redding’s “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay” during the New Orleans auditions, was the center of a whirlwind drama on Wednesday’s (February 16) episode. He bounced around looking to find his place during Hollywood Week’s notorious group round, and was tossed from his original foursome (with Clint Jun Gamboa, Monique de Los Santos and Frances Coontz) when floating country crooner Scotty McCreery joined their ranks. Of course, it was Jacee who’d first given the thumbs-up to allow McCreery to link up with them. Left without a group at 1 a.m. on the night before the big group auditions, a teary-eyed Badeaux sought the comfort of his parents. “It’s OK, baby,” his mother told him. “Either way, it just wasn’t meant to be.” Mom turned out to know best, and Badeaux quickly fell in with another group, led by fellow outcast Brett Loewenstern , the mop-topped, red-haired singer whose tales of being bullied have been well-documented this season. Despite the fact that he’d never heard Duffy’s “Mercy,” which the group had been rehearsing for hours, Badeaux joined them and began learning the song. But the rehearsal time wasn’t quite enough for Badeaux, who made no secret of the fact that he didn’t know the words when he hit the rehearsal stage. So to the tune of Duffy’s 2008 hit, a smiling Badeaux sang, “I don’t wanna go home, yeah yeah/ But this is really fun, yeah yeah/ But I’m gonna do this, ’cause I know that I won’t be going home … hopefully.” When asked by the judges why he didn’t know his parts, he told his story of being kicked out of his first group late the night before and began to well up with tears. As his fellow contestants in the audience rose to their feet and gave him a standing ovation, Randy Jackson noted, “Jacee, you got some fans out there, dude.” And despite flubbing the lyrics — usually a death knell at this point in the competition — the judges let him through to the next round. But that wasn’t it for Badeaux. Next up was the group that unceremoniously dismissed Jacee, and McCreery — who had essentially replaced him in the group — came clean to the judges’ panel and to his fellow contestants. “I just wanna go on the record and say, for me personally, I wanna apologize for not sticking up for [Badeaux],” he said. ” ‘Cause I love all of y’all, but Jacee’s the best kid in this competition.” After his mea culpa, McCreery and his fellow groupmates made it through as well. But now that Badeaux is building momentum, his biggest obstacle could be himself, and learning the pesky words to those songs. What do you think of Jacee Badeaux? Let us know in the comments!
