Teen Mom star Maci Bookout is hitting back at her weight critics, saying that she’ll start eating more burgers when other people start giving them up. Maci has long been critiqued because of her slim figure, but snapped on Twitter last week when people started to imply she has an eating disorder. “From now on everytime someone tells me i need to eat a cheeseburger I’m gonna say well give me every one u eat then we’ll both look better,” she tweeted. Burn. Of course, haters being haters, they kept piling it on: “@MaciBookoutMTV you need a soul is what you really need,” one fan replied to Maci’s tweet. Maci’s response: “If others are jealous, you’re doing something right. #Truth” And at least she’s not Jenelle Evans or Farrah Abraham . #Preach.
After splitting from Ryan Edwards, who got her pregnant and in doing so, launched her reality TV career on Teen Mom , Maci Bookout has moved on from her ex. Her current, live-in beau, Kyle King, is a much better influence on Maci, and frankly, on Bentley, her three-year-old son with Ryan. Life’s good for the redhead. So why is she jealous of Ryan’s new girlfriend, Dalis Connell? “I want him to be happy because he excels when he’s happy,” Maci Bookout said of Edwards … but that was before he started dating, and talking marriage with Connell. Not surprisingly, she’s singing a different tune now. “Maci has been pretty jealous,” a close source says of Ryan’s baby mama. “Dalis feels like it could be because she and Ryan may actually get married before Maci does or maybe because Maci is not getting Ryan’s attention anymore.” But Ryan and Dalis are trying to rise above Maci’s envy. “Their relationship is definitely true love. They have both been completely supportive of each other. But Maci clearly still has feelings for Ryan. And Kyle can’t be too happy about it.” We’ll see how this plays out. After a tumultuous season of Teen Mom, the fab four headed to L.A. for their obligatory MTV reunion special slash therapy session with Dr. Drew Pinsky. He did not mince words. Farrah Abraham in particular got an earful from Drew after crying about her cruel fate, missing out on her teenage years because she had a baby, etc. I love you so much!!!! Okay, later! While Farrah ditched Sophia with her parents to go “found herself” in Florida, she used this opportunity to tell everyone she’d changed her mind! Maybe! Farrah doesn’t know if it’s in Sophia’s best interest to be cared for by her personally or her grandparents in Iowa. She’s also, like, so lonely in Florida! Dr. Drew finally had to shut down the pity party, which has been building all summer and apparently didn’t end with last week’s Teen Mom season finale . Telling Farrah to “add it up,” the doc said, first off, to stop sniveling: “You have to let go of the fantasies of childhood,” he said. “It’s time to let go.” In brighter news , college-bound Catelynn Lowell had an onstage epiphany of her own: She should become an adoption counselor! Well, okay then! Later, Amber Portwood replaced Farrah on the hot seat. Since the Teen Mom reunion was taped weeks before Amber’s suicide attempt , much of their discussion about her quote unquote successful therapy didn’t exactly move us. Amber ultimately burst into tears and stormed off the stage. What set her off? Not Gary Shirley, not serious legal problems or custody issues with daughter Leah, but her baby sister’s crib death when Amber was very young. Yeah. That about sums up what kind of night it was.

Now Bookout has a boyfriend of 16 months – with a job! – in Kyle King. I don’t want to rush it if I don’t have to.” Hinting that she’d love to have a girl someday, Maci Bookout says she frequently feels left out when her son and Kyle King do “guy things.” “I think they like each other more than they like me,” she says . “Bentley’s like, ‘Mama, we’re watching dirt bikes!’ I feel left out sometimes!”
Jennifer Hudson has shed 80 pounds over the last year or so, accomplishing the sort of weight loss goals many women dream about. How did the Weight Watchers spokeswoman do it? You’ll have to buy her upcoming book to find out. The former American Idol finalist and Oscar winner will pen a memoir that chronicles her “experience growing up in an environment where healthy living was not a priority,” according to a statement by publishing company Dutton. The book will delve into “her weight as she competed on American Idol and won her first Oscar,” along with her “eventual decision to get healthy after the birth of her son, and her success losing weight with the help of Weight Watchers.” No word yet on whether Hudson will touch on the tragic family murders that took place in 2008. According to OK! Magazine, Maci Bookout will finally get her “happily ever after” moment when she weds her beau, Kyle King, on Teen Mom this season. Which is interesting, since we hadn’t even heard she was engaged to King, who she began dating after her split with Ryan Edwards, her son’s father. Knowing OK!, it’s probably a highly misleading cover story . There is no mention of a specific wedding or even of an engagement, just quotes like this: “Maci says that although she’s young and doesn’t know what she wants to do with the rest of her life, she knows for sure that she loves Kyle,” a friend says. “She loves being around him and he makes her very happy.” A source says Maci Bookout ’s wedding dreams are “down-to-earth and achievable,” whatever that means, and will be a simple, fun and family-oriented.
