Maci Bookout: I’m GLAD I Dumped Ryan Edwards!

There was a time when Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards were among the most civil former couples in the entire Teen Mom franchise. We think it's safe to say those days are done. Maci and Ryan are feuding over custody of their son, Bentley , and it looks as though the conflict is doomed to get uglier before it (hopefully) gets resolved. As is so often the case in public custody disputes, a fair amount of shade-throwing is going on, and the latest comes from Maci, who says she's very happy that she decided to cut Ryan loose so many years ago.   1. The Beginning There was a time when Ryan and Maci actually seemed like a stable couple by Teen Mom standards. That era didn’t last very long. 2. A Bitter Breakup Ryan and Maci have gone through periods of relatively amicable co-parenting, but they’ve also experienced plenty of rough patches. The one they’re in now being a prime example… 3. “See You in Court!” A recent episode of Teen Mom saw Mackenzie and Bentley visiting Ryan on Father’s Day. He vaguely threatened his ex with legal action. 4. Safety Concerns Maci is reportedly concerned about Ryan’s ability to create a safe and stable environment for Bentley. Given his struggles in recent months, it’s not hard to see why she might feel that way. 5. Ryan at Rock Bottom Ryan’s drug addiction was so severe at one point that he passed out while driving to his own wedding. These days, he’s six months sober, but he’s had a difficult time earning Maci’s trust back. 6. Opening Up Maci spoke candidly about her feelings toward Ryan in a recent TM:OG promo. He might not like what she had to say… View Slideshow

Taylor Swift Just Crossed the Beyhive. Find Out How.

In her brand new song,  Taylor Swift takes aim at famous rivals such as Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Katy Perry. But it’s a different A-Lister who now has a beef with the artist. Or, perhaps we should more accurately say, it’s a different artist’s fan base. On Friday afternoon, Swift unveiled a music video teaser for “Look at What You Made Me Do,” two days ahead of when the full video will premiere at the MTV Video Music Awards. You can check it out HERE . It doesn’t reveal very much. But it has revealed enough to severely anger the Beyhive, the loyal group of Beyonce fans who worship at the feet of the world’s most popular solo singer… … and who have now set their sights on Swift. Taylor Swift – “Look at What You Made Me Do” In one frame from her video teaser, Swift is dressed in a black leotard and fishnet tights while leading a group of male dancers who are all rocking similar looks. The footage appears to be set in an ornate ballroom. Critics, meanwhile, are pointing to  Beyonce’s Lemonade visual album as a comparison. In the video for the Beyonce track “Sorry,” the superstar and Serena Williams dance in the halls of a lavish Louisiana plantation… while wearing – you guessed it! – black leotards. Queen Bey also donned the look with a contingent of similarly dressed backup dancers during her performance of “Formation” at Super Bowl 50. One fan tweeted side-by-side screen shots of Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” teaser and video from Lemonade, captioning it “Lemonade and Minute Maid.” Ouch. That’s harsh. But is it fair? Added Beyonce fan added: “Taylor Swift wanna be Beyoncé so bad.” Taylor has received A LOT backlash for this new single, which many Internet users believe to be petty and simply not very catchy. It also has a very dark tone. Others, meanwhile, thought back to Swift’s infamous feud with Kardashian and West and accused the singer of “playing the victim.” This is a charge Swift has faced for years, having often sang about being wronged by ex-boyfriends in some way, shape or form. This is different, though. This is Taylor Swift daring to cross the Beyhive. We’d be a tad frightened if we were her. Are these criticisms justified? Do you think Swift really did copy Beyonce? Or is this just a coincidence? And it Swift receiving an unfair rap? Sound off below and also answer this question: Are you excited for her new album? Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer: Divorcing Already?!

Talk about a total shocker! Just kidding — literally anyone with the tiniest bit of sense could have seen this coming. Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer, those Chattanooga lovebirds who just got married back in May in that romantic parking lot wedding , may be headed for a split. We know, we know, it’s tough to hear. But honestly, if Ryan is on Tinder asking women for vagina pics , maybe this is for the best. According to a report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, things are so bad between them that Ryan has left their home and blocked Mackenzie’s humber. “This was going on for a while, even before the Tinder stuff broke,” a source explains. “But he has not stayed at home for the past few days.” Not only that, but he’s been telling multiple Teen Mom OG crew members that he plans on filing for divorce. And before you roll your eyes at those dramatics, the source insists that “he did not just say it in passing.” “It was mentioned multiple times to multiple people on the crew.” Since he was obviously super, super high at the time of the wedding, couldn’t he just get the thing annulled? That definitely seems possible, right? While he’s having these issues with his brand new wife, he’s been living back at his parents’ house. “They told Ryan he could stay at their house while he and Mackenzie were having issues,” the source says, “but they said if he was coming for other reasons, they aren’t having it.” … Other reasons like drugs? But while it might be easy to blame all of their issues on Ryan, it sounds like Mackenzie isn’t exactly a walk in the park, either. The Ashley’s sources claim that she’s been getting pretty greedy with MTV lately. “Mackenzie requested that MTV pay for her and her friends to go on vacation to ‘get away from it all’ and film, of course.” Apparently “MTV considered it, but yesterday they decided against it and said they will not pay for it.” Looks like we may finally know why this 20-year-old divorced mother agreed to marry Ryan after he endangered their lives by driving high , huh? Those sweet, sweet Teen Mom paychecks. It’s absolutely ridiculous that she’d think MTV would pay for a vacation for her and her friends — seriously, who cares about watching a Teen Mom’s baby daddy’s wife filming by themselves? And Mackenzie’s greed isn’t only about the vacation. As a source says, “The crew has been filming Mackenzie over the last week or so, give or take.” “She has not made it easy and at times she’s refused to talk about the Ryan drama on-camera, but has stated that she will talk if they pay her more.” These Teen Mom insiders say that they’re not sure if they did pay her more, or even how much of all this delicious drama will make it to the show. But the drama has been filmed, and that’s good enough for now. View Slideshow: Teen Mom Couples: RANKED From Worst to First!

Teen Mom Fans to Mackenzie Standifer: Why Did You Let Ryan Edwards Drive High?!

If you watched last night’s episode of Teen Mom: OG then you know that Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer tied the knot in a ceremony that was captured by an MTV camera crew. And you also know Ryan and Mackenzie’s wedding was one of the saddest in reality TV history, with more cameramen on hand than actual guests. The wedding was a rush job, planned with the goal of giving Ryan a leg up in upcoming custody negotiations with his ex, Maci Bookout. Just days after tying the knot, Edwards checked into rehab to receive treatment for persistent substance abuse issues. At the time of the wedding, however, it appears he was still using. And to the shock of many viewers, he drove to the ceremony while visibly intoxicated. Fans of the show took to social media to express their outrage that no one intervened to stop Ryan from operating a vehicle and getting married, all while so high that he struggled to keep his eyes open. “Ryan was wasted, his mom was crying, and Mackenzie was standing there the whole time without a care in the world right before they got married,” wrote one fan on The Hollywood Gossip ‘s Facebook page . “Seems she’s in it for the fame and the money and doesn’t care how it’s affecting anybody in Ryan’s family. Everything about her that they showed last night was sad and desperate on her part.” Others blamed MTV for allowing the potentially deadly scene to continue: “I was absolutely stunned that MTV kept filming when Ryan was driving under the influence of drugs, putting other people’s lives at risk but as long as they get their ratings,” one viewer commented, adding: “Unbelievable, the show is a joke now.” Other fans focused on the fact that Ryan made one of the most important decisions of his life while high out of his mind, and there’s a very good chance he doesn’t remember his own wedding day: “He is in rehab, but honestly I wouldn’t want to marry anyone who isn’t sober at the times our vows are made,” wrote one viewer. “I felt bad for his parents and Kenzie seeing it his mom wasn’t crying bc other people weren’t there it was bc of the state of being her son was in.” Some fans accused Mackenzie of enabling Ryan along with his parents, Others encouraged Maci to continue to fight to limit Ryan’s visitation rights. View Slideshow: Teen Mom Couples: RANKED From Worst to First! One viewer may have summed up the sentiments best, writing: “I was in total shock and seriously couldn’t believe what I saw. I’ve watched EVERY episode for YEARS. This…by far… was the craziest.” Watch Teen Mom online to relive the many struggles that brought Ryan to where he is today.

Ryan Edwards & Mackenzie Standifer: Sad Wedding Details Revealed

Last month,  Ryan Edwards married Mackenzie Standifer , but there wasn’t much time for a honeymoon. Shortly after saying “I do,” Edwards checked into rehab to be treated for substance abuse issues so severe they reportedly threatened his life. And now it looks as though that wasn’t the only dark cloud hanging over the ceremony. Ryan and Mackenzie’s wedding will be featured on this week’s Teen Mom: OG, and   it seems the quickie wedding was anything but a joyous occasion. The wedding was attended only by Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry. Yes, Ryan’s beloved son, Bentley, was not on hand for the occasion. And it seems that fact simply broke Ryan’s mother’s heart. “The most important people aren’t here,” she protested through tears at one point. Ryan tried to put his mother’s mind at ease, but he seemed pretty upset by the situation himself: “Mom, it don’t matter if there’s 100 people or two people here,” Edwards insisted to his mother. “As long as we love each other.” Speaking to his father, Ryan seemed considerable less optimistic. “How are you gonna tell Bentley?” Larry asked at one point. “I don’t think we’re going to, Dad,” Ryan responded. Yes, it seems when Edwards checked into rehab, his son didn’t know he had a new stepmom. Heartbreaking stuff. Fortunately, these days, Edwards is out of rehab and appears to be n the upswing. We think … Fans have pointed to a handful of troubling signs that may indicate Edwards is still struggling: For one thing, he wasn’t in rehab for very long. As far as we can tell, he checked shortly after his wedding, and he left on June 19. That’s only about four weeks. Treatment programs generally recommend that as the bare  minimum for in-patient care. On top of that, Edwards immediately began taking shots at Maci Bookout after leaving treatment. Not an encouraging sign for someone who’s supposed to be leaving the past and its accompanying negative emotions behind him. Obviously, we’re hoping for the best for Ryan, but there’s no denying that the causes for concern are legitimate. Watch Teen Mom online to get caught up in time for what’s sure to be a drama-packed season finale.

Ryan Edwards & Mackenzie Standifer: Sad Wedding Details Revealed

Mackenzie Standifer Losing Custody of Son Over Ryan Edwards’ Drug Use?!

As we learned on the latest episode of Teen Mom OG, things aren’t going so well for Ryan Edwards. And apparently they haven’t been going well for a long, long time. For a while now, Ryan, ex-boyfriend of Maci Bookout and father of Bentley, has been acting a bit off . Every time we see him, his eyes are bugging out of his head, and we’ve seen him disappear from home for hours at a time to, as his family claims, “go to the bank.” He rarely speaks, he doesn’t act anything like he used to, and also there was a moment in time where he killed a bunch of cats . Fans of the the show have theorized that drugs are to blame for his bizarre behavior, and as Maci explained, those fans are right. During their Puerto Rico vacation, the topic of Ryan came up, and Amber Portwood told her that, based on personal experience, she can tell that Ryan has been “f-cked up” lately. And Maci agreed. “I talk to Taylor about it like, ‘I wonder if today’s going to be the day that Ryan does something that he can’t come back from ?'” she said through tears. “I’m just sick of cleaning up his mess. I get tired of dealing with the sh-t. Just being the only one that f-cking sees everything and cares.” It seemed to be weighing heavy on Maci that she’s apparently the only one in Ryan’s life willing to speak out about his problem and try to get him help. If that’s true, it’s a sad situation, since Ryan has two very involved parents as well as his fiancée, Mackenzie Standifer . Ryan and Mackenzie haven’t been together all that long: she filed for divorce from her first husband, Zachary Stephens, in July of 2016. She also shares a three-year-old son named Hudson with Stephens. And here’s where things start to get a little complicated. Mackenzie has custody of her son, and she lives with Ryan, which is a little alarming, considering his apparently serious drug problem. But in April, Mackenzie and her ex-husband went to court, and there was a pretty interesting development. When their divorce was finalized, Stephens was ordered to pay Mackenzie $503 a month in child support. Then, in April — soon after Maci discovered the truth about Ryan — things were changed so that Mackenzie now pays Stephens $245 a month in child support. Does that mean that she lost custody of her son, either full or partial? And could it have anything to do with her choice to house her son with a drug addict? According to a statement Mackenzie made on Instagram this week, she has “full custody” of the little boy. … Then why would she pay child support? It doesn’t make much sense, but then again nothing Mackenzie has been saying this week makes much sense. Remember, when someone asked her on Twitter if she’s “ready to spend the rest of your life wondering if [Ryan] is high,” she said “Well I am ready to spend the rest of my life not worrying about ignorant comments.” Like, chill, honey, you’re the one marrying a creep like Ryan Edwards.
