John Boehner Says He’d Still Oppose Marriage Equality If His Son Was Gay GOP goon John Boehner says there’s a strong chance that he’d even go against his own flesh and blood all in he name of his strong opposition to same-sex marriage. via Think Progress House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) — who is spending millions of taxpayer dollars opposing marriage equality — told ABC’s This Week that he could never see himself supporting same-sex unions, despite the growing evolution towards marriage for all within the Republican Party. Responding to Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) change of heart on the issue, Boehner said that he “appreciates” his friend’s new position, but insisted that “I believe that marriage is a union of a man and a woman” and predicted that he would not change his mind even if he found out that his own son is gay: Martha Raddatz asked Bohenher: “Can you imagine yourself in a situation where you reversed your decision as Portman has on gay marriage if a child of yours or someone you love told you they were gay.” Boehner: “Listen, I believe marriage is a union between one man and one woman. It’s what I grew up with, it’s what i belive, it’s what my church teaches me and I can’t imagine that position would ever change.” Cold world.

We are big fans of the Showtime series “Shameless” but they almost pushed us too far in the last two episodes where we’ve been watching the Gallaghers neighbors Veronica and Kevin enlist her mom Carol to be their surrogate because Veronica’s tubes are all messed up from an STD she caught getting chopped down by a rapper. The couple initially tried to get Carol pregnant using Kevin’s seed via a turkey baster but when that didn’t work they resorted to the good ol’ fashioned biblical method. We’re a safe wholesome family oriented website around these parts so we can’t share the photos of the sordid methods they were forced to resort to, but we thought this might make a great topic of discussion because the subject is all too real for people who are not ECONOMICALLY THRIVING. Babies are expensive!!! If you’re not ballin’ enough for IVF or a paid surrogate, how far would you go to have a baby? Racist And Prejudice Acts Cause Oberlin College To Cancel Classes An Ohio college is sending the message that racism and prejudice will not be tolerated following a series of incidents targeting African-American and gay students . Oberlin University officials recently made the decision to cancel classes to investigate and find out exactly who is behind the acts. via The Guardian A liberal arts college in Ohio suspended classes on Monday after a series of racist and “anti-gay “incidents on campus. Over the past month at Oberlin College, swastikas have been daubed on windows, gay-rights flyers defaced and a poster for Black History Month overwritten to read “N***er History Month”. On Monday, police were called to investigate a sighting of someone dressed as a member of the “triple K clan” near the college’s Afrikan Heritage House in the early hours of the morning. That prompted officials to suspend classes “to make a strong statement about the values that we cherish here at Oberlin: inclusion, respect for others, and a strong and abiding faith in the worth of every individual”.
