Miley Cyrus to Release New Album On…

Miley Cyrus has taken a break from grabbing her crotch and standing on her hands to announce the release date for her upcoming album. Earlier this evening, the singer simply posted on Twitter: #Bangerz #Oct8th. So there you have it, fans. The artist hasn’t been very open about what fans can expect from the album, but based on her evolving persona and ever-maturing personality/appearance, we doubt it will be filled with run of the mill pop songs. Miley has already made headlines with the video for her first track off the CD, though she insists she isn’t trying to brainwash anyone via “We Can’t Stop.” Look for Cyrus to perform August 25 at the MTV Video Music Awards and if you think you’ve heard a lot from her recently, prepare yourself for plenty more Miley as we get closer and closer to October. Wade Robson to Launch Foundation For Child Abuse Victims

Wade Robson, who accuses Michael Jackson of molesting him, says a big part of coming forward was that he wants to help child sex abuse victims. The 30-year-old dancer/choreographer is launching his own foundation to help child sex abuse victims through new age healing, according to reports. Robson founded a non-profit organization called “Hearts in Our Hands” on July 1. His rep says the group will be dedicated to preventing abuse, and taking a holistic approach – meditation, therapy, yoga – to treating abuse victims. Wade is very much into yoga himself lately, according to sources. Robson made headlines this spring when he said Michael Jackson molested him as a child – repeatedly at that, when Wade was 7-14 years old. The Jackson Estate and family members have dismissed Wade’s claims as a money grab, but he claims he only recently broke free of the brainwashing . Brandon Marshall on Viagra Use in the NFL: Common!

We all know Viagra can help men score. But can that little blue pill make a difference when an NFL running back needs to cross the goal line in a very difference sense? Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall made headlines today when he told reporters of a certain performance enhancing drug: “I’ve heard of some crazy stories. I’ve heard guys using like Viagra, seriously. Because the blood is supposedly thin… some crazy stuff.” However, the company behind this magic medicine says any athlete popping its drug should be aware: The pills “indicated solely for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED),” Pfizer tells TMZ, adding: “Pfizer has not examined the safety of Viagra in men without ED and does not promote or encourage the use of Viagra for any use but the treatment of ED.” Well, okay then. Perhaps if the players just relax and put a little less pressure on themselves, the yards will come easily on their own.

Thomas Beatie: Dating Amber Nicholas, Hoping for Fourth Child

Thomas Beatie is hoping to support the pregnant woman this time around. The 38-year old – who first made headlines in 2007 after undergoing transgender surgery, yet preserving the organs needed to give birth – split from his wife in April of this year and is now dating someone named Amber Nicholas. And he tells The Sunday Mirror that he wants to have another child, with one major catch: “Being pregnant is the most incredible experience,” Beatie says to the newspaper. “But we want Amber to do it this time around. I think it would be amazing to experience pregnancy as the father.” While married to ex-wife Nancy, Thomas gave birth to three children. Saturday Night Live Announces Opening Hosts, Musical Guests

In the wake of a mammoth cast shakeup – Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliot are all out – Saturday Night Live has announced its first three hosts and musical guests for its upcoming 38th season. September 15 : Seth MacFarlane/Frank Ocean September 22 : Joseph Gordon-Levitt/Mumford & Sons September 29 : Daniel Craig/Muse The season premiere gig will mark MacFarlane’s first SNL hosting experience. He’ll be on hand to promote the return episodes of Family Guy , American Dad (both September 30) and The Cleveland Show (October 7), along with the DVD release Ted . Ocean, meanwhile, has come out with his first solo album and also made headlines in July for revealing he’s bisexual .

Move over, Brangelina. You’re being upstaged by… your parents?!? Indeed, days after Brad Pitt’s mother, Jane Pitt, made headlines for penning an editorial that bashed Barack Obama as “a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage,” Angelina Jolie’s estranged father has come out in support of his quasi relative. “Good for her,” Jon Voight – who once laid into Obama himself for spreading ” anti-Semitism throughout the world ” – told Fox News about Mrs. Pitt. The veteran actor, one of the more outspoken conservatives in Hollywood, added that he agreed all around with Jane Pitt’s stance . Moronic Twitter followers have been sending out death threats to Pitt for her letter, but her very own son has no problem with his mother expressing her views. Said Doug Pitt on The Today Show : “I think moms and dads and kids agree to disagree all over the world. So why would our family be any different?
