Sometimes life imitates art, or something like that. Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey channeled his inner Dr. McDreamy this week when he helped rescue a teenager who careened off the road and overturned his car completely near the actor’s property in Malibu, Calif. The car had rolled repeatedly and was totaled. Dempsey reportedly ran toward the car with crowbar in hand so he could pry the driver out of the wrecked Mustang, and was successful. A neighbor called 911 and the police came, with paramedics treating the crash victim for a concussion, and stunningly nothing worse. Patrick, of course, never mentioned any of this. No word who the kid who crashed is, but Shawn Ryan, the creator of The Shield , tweeted: “True Story: Grey’s Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey pulled my friend’s son out of an overturned car after bad accident on Tuesday. #GoodDude” Thank about an #understatement. It is here, Beliebers. Justin Bieber released the album cover for his upcoming CD last night, Tweeting two versions of the photo (regular and deluxe), along with the hashtag #53DAYS. It will be available for purchase on June 19. Think you might buy a copy? Bieber has said the tracks on the album will be more grown up than his usual fare; one will also have been written with Taylor Swift, while another – which might not make it on to the song list – was actually written with Mariah Yeater in mind . Expect to see Justin giving many interviews and playing many concerts in the days leading up to the release. He’ll be featured on The Today Show June 15, for example.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon took a vacation this week to the most romantic city on the planet, and the famous couple made the most of it: They renewed their vows in Paris! With the Eiffel Tower in the background and with Cannon donning a white tuxedo and Mariah in a similar-colored gown, Cannon got down on one knee once again and professed his love for his lovely wife. It’s not the first time the pair has renewed its vows, either. With Rev. Al Sharpton officiating, Carey and Cannon did so last year in the hospital where twins Moroccan and Monroe were born.
