Whitney Houston’s financial situation is less than ideal, according to reports. The term “broke as a joke” is used in said reports by Radar Online , in fact. Nick Cannon is defending his wife Mariah Carey against Chelsea Handler again on Twitter. In case you missed it, Nick Cannon and Chelsea Handler had a much publicized twitter feud back in October of 2010 and everyone thought it was because of a wisecrack Chelsea took at the expectant father. But Nick came clean and said it all started with comments the comedienne made about his wife. Nick and Chelsea eventually made up when she called into his radio show, but it seems the beef has been reignited. Nick took to his Twitter account this morning and tweeted @chelseahandler to let her know she needed to stop talking ish about Mariah again. He tweeted: Good for you Nick, live your life! In case you hadn’t heard, Nick Cannon is alive. After suffering mild kidney failure over the holidays, Cannon is back to overseeing his media empire. From his office, which is forty floors above Times Square, Mr. Mariah Carey Cannon made a video to set the record straight about all of the speculation surrounding his hospitalization. Nick alludes to the fact there are a few more procedures he has to undergo to get an absolute clean bill of health. Though he doesn’t go into detail about those procedures, we hope everything goes well for the media mogul. Nick Cannon Focuses On Kids After Health Scare

‘I love everything that they do and just want to be a part of everything,’ Cannon tells MTV News By Nadeska Alexis Nick Cannon Photo: MTV News During his recent hospital stay for treatment of kidney failure, Nick Cannon got plenty of support from his wife, Mariah Carey — he referred to her as his “angel” during our interview — but his twins Moroccan and Monroe were also a key part of the entertainer’s decision to adapt a healthier lifestyle . During his first day back at the office on Tuesday, Cannon told MTV News that his health scare intensified the way he feels about his family. “Right now my kids are everything — they’re always going to be everything, but when something like this happens to you, everything else is shut out and you’re just focused on them,” he said. “So every second you just notice so many things … it just makes it so much more poignant. I love everything that they do and just want to be a part of everything.” Cannon, who has temporarily adapted a strict renal diet, said that his time in the hospital made all of the important things very clear. “There’s a second where you’re thinking, ‘What if I’m not able to instill the things I want to instill into my children?’ It just makes you think, like, ‘I need to give them everything I could possibly give them right now,’ and obviously it starts with love.” The radio and stand-up comedy host was hospitalized during a vacation with his family in Aspen, Colorado, after experiencing severe pains in his lower back. Doctors initially suspected kidney stones as the culprit, before more tests showed that his kidneys were shutting down due to an overdose of protein, medication he was taking and a lack of proper sustenance. “I always considered myself as someone who was in great shape, but I was doing too much [to my body] so my immune system got confused and just started attacking my kidneys,” Cannon told MTV News. “You look at my Twitter picture and I look like I’m in shape, but I was putting the wrong stuff into my body, speeding all the time, not sleeping and eating properly. Nick Cannon is back in business and took the time out today to chat with Howard Stern on an assortment of topics: Then they realized it was more serious than that. “They thought it was kidney stones … then a kidney infection,” explained Cannon. “They found out my kidneys weren’t functioning well.” But he adds, “We didn’t want to say ‘kidney failure’ so people would think I gotta get new kidneys and Gary Coleman and all that stuff, so we said ‘mild kidney failure.’ ” Cannon told his listeners he has to drink a lot of water, and he told Stern, who was broadcasting to his SiriusXM listeners at the same time, he has a “couple more procedures he needs to undergo, but overall, I’m good. I’m feeling 100 percent.” Although Stern tried to get Cannon to dish about past loves, he sounded like he’s still madly in love with Mariah. “I’m happier than happy,” said Cannon. “Especially though this entire process, we’ve become so much closer. … I even got a chance to see a different side of my wife where she became so nurturing. Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon hit the red carpet for the 2012 BET Honors  held at the Warner Theater on Saturday January 14th in Washington, D.C. Culture Fest: Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival – The Art of Music 2012 Cannon, who had recently been hospitalized for mild kidney failure appeared fully recovered.  The actor and comedian tweeted from the awards and thanked his fans for their support. “Tonight in DC with my wife and kids at the BET HONORS was one of the most amazing and inspirational times of my life!,” he wrote on this Twitter account. “I really must say I am completely humbled by the outpour of support, love and prayers that came my way during my recovery. Mariah Carey has good news regarding her ailing husband. Just a couple days after saying that Nick Cannon was in ” a lot of pain ” due what has been described as mild kidney failure, the singer updated fans today via another Tweet. With a laptop, balloons and gorgeous wife by his side, things could be a lot worse for Nick Cannon. “Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days,” Carey wrote this afternoon, adding: “As always he’s laughing and in good spirits.” She also included the following caption with the new photo, posted above: “Thank you everyone for all the love & concern.”

Just days after being hospitalized for mild kidney failure , the TV personality let his fans know he’s ready to put it all behind him. Cannon took to Twitter to post a photo of himself in the hospital, getting his hair cut. He tweeted simply, “getting back to business.” He later took to the social networking site to promote some of his pals who were DJing in Los Angeles. One of Cannon’s DJ friends spoke to People.com about his condition. “I was beyond shocked when I learned Nick had a kidney issue,” DJ Irie said. “Of all the people, he is healthy beyond belief. He does not drink, he eats healthy and he works out regularly.” The cause of Cannon’s kidney failure is still unknown, and his friend reiterated just how well he takes care of himself. “Nick practices all of these healthy habits every day of his life,” he said. “But he is rational and smart and taking care of it by being in the hospital, where he belongs now.” Cannon was transferred to an L.A.-area facility after initially being hospitalized in Aspen, where he was vacationing with his wife, Mariah Carey, and their twins, Moroccan and Monroe. “As always, he’s in good spirits considering the situation,” Carey said about her hubby, noting that he was “in a lot of pain” and that “the situation is not easy.
