Liberty Ross Outlines Reconciliation Plan for Rupert Sanders

She may have recently been spotted without a wedding ring , but Liberty Ross is reportedly willing to give her marriage another chance. Provided Rupert Sanders follows a new set of rules, that is. The estranged couple met up at their Hollywood Hills home on Friday and, according to Great Britain’s The People , discussed a ” five point plan ” to save their relationship. It includes a re-worked pre-nuptial agreement to provide Ross with better terms in case things don’t work out. Liberty “would need Rupert to follow and sign” the documented guidelines “in order for her to consider dropping” her divorce request, a source tells the newspaper. Would the cheating director be up for such a thing? “Rupert’s desperate to patch things up so I’m sure he’d do anything,” says the insider, adding that “no more depositions in the case are being taken while lawyers on both sides wait to see if [he] can meet the criteria.” What else is included? It’s unclear. But earlier reports stated Ross was understandably adamant: Sanders it never to work with Kristen Stewart again .

Vanessa Bryant: I’m No Gold Digger!

Vanessa Bryant may not be a gold-digging, domineering basketball wife … but she gave a quote earlier this week that certainly came off that way. Regarding husband Kobe Bryant, she told New York Magazine, “I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can’t win championships.” “If you’re sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year.” Yeah. Probably not the best word choice. Vanessa is now setting the record straight, clarifying to TMZ that she loves and supports Kobe , no matter what. “I’m sad to hear that some of the comments in my New York Magazine interview are being misconstrued and taken out of context,” says Vanessa Bryant . “I have been with Kobe for 13 years. I accepted his marriage proposal PRIOR to him winning any of his 5 championships with his teammates.” “I have and will continue to support my husband’s dreams. For anyone to think otherwise is wrong. It is not about being married to a ‘winner.'” “It is about our sacrifice as a family.” Kobe and Vanessa got engaged in 2000, the year he won his first NBA title, so you can’t argue with her there, and she took him back after he allegedly cheated more than once. Basically you gotta cut the female Bryant some slack … right? Vanessa Bryant: Digging for gold?

Nice Try: Kris “The Dumped Hump” Humphries’ Lawyer Tries To Serve Kanye West A Secret Subpeona Hidden Inside A Department Store Gift Box

Hahahahahaha Kris Humphries Lawyers Attempt To Serve Kanye West A Subpeona In A Nordstrom’s Box According to TMZ reports : Kris Humphries’ lawyer engineered a sneak attack by trying to serve a subpoena on Kanye West by putting it in a Nordstrom box and sending it to Kim Kardashian’s house. Kim’s lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser, told the judge in the divorce case about the ploy during a hearing that is still going on. Wasser groused to the judge … Kim has already racked up $250,000 in attorney’s fees, yet it’s unclear exactly what Kris wants out of this. Wasser said she’s heard the reports that Kris and his lawyers want to put reality TV on trial, and there seems to be evidence to back that up. Wasser noted that Kris has served Kris Jenner with a subpoena and NBC Universal and Bunim/Murray, which produces the Kardashian reality shows. Wasser said she’s perplexed as to why Kris Humphries thinks the marriage was a fraud — because he went in eyes wide open. Kris Humphries’ lawyer, Marshall Waller told the court he wants to prove the marriage was a fraud, which Kim wanted solely to benefit her reality show. He says he wants to be armed with information about the show before taking Kim’s deposition. Kim’s lawyer, Laura Wasser followed up by asking why it’s so important for Kris to get an annulment. Waller did not answer. Wasser then said she intends to get Kris to pay every penny of Kim’s attorney’s fees. On her way out of court, Wasser said, “We’re just moving forward. My client just wants to be divorced.” What type of Mission Impossible isht is Kris on??? SMH Image via WENN

REVIEW: Pattinson Is Quietly Marvelous In Cronenberg’s Admirable, Feverish Cosmopolis

Easier to admire than to love, David Cronenberg’s  Cosmopolis is an amplified, feverish vision of the one percent as scarcely human — not because of any innate maliciousness, but because they’re so removed from the lives of the masses. They’re like children who’ve already won a video game and now play carelessly, without any need to observe the rules. The lead role of 28-year-old billionaire Eric Packer is played by Robert Pattinson, although the star of the film is just as much Packer Capital’s high-tech stretch limousine, which serves as his mobile office as he inches across Manhattan in search of a haircut and, perhaps, his own destruction. That limo, equipped with glowing console panels, a slide-out urinal and what’s essentially a throne in the back, is the primary setting of  Cosmopolis.   It’s a hermetically sealed bubble in which Eric can glide through the roiling urban landscape, jumping off or taking on passengers at whim. He is in the city, but not a part of it. The vehicle is armored and, he explains to his aloof wife Elise (Sarah Gadon), “Prousted” — lined with cork soundproofing — though the latter gesture is, he admits, largely symbolic, as the New York noise manages to bleed through. Despite this, the barrier between him and the world is considerable, bolstered by watchful presence of his security chief Torval (Kevin Durand), who informs him tersely of any credible threats to his life. Cosmopolis  is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Don DeLillo, but Cronenberg adapted the tale to the screen and it feels very much like a Cronenberg work. It’s the chilly sibling to  eXistenZ , without the comfort of slipping realities. If the universe of  Cosmopolis were to come loose, it would only reveal a void underneath. Pattinson does a quietly marvelous thing in finding vulnerability in Eric without making it seem like softness. The film depicts Eric’s financial kingdom (and with it his sense of self) crumbling over a day, but his breakdown is a gradual one. His panic rises in barely perceptible increments. Despite Torval’s warnings, Eric has set out to get a haircut, though he doesn’t seem to need one. (Pattinson begins the film looking like a character from The Matrix , pale and immaculate in his dark suit and sunglasses.) The city is in a state of intense gridlock thanks to a presidential visit, the funeral procession of a famous Sufi rapper and by anti-corporate protests that strikingly recall Occupy Wall Street, though instead of a tent the crowd’s chosen symbol is a giant rat. As the limo crawls along, Eric takes meetings with coworkers and employees who appear in his car as if beamed in: his partner Shiner (Jay Baruchel), his art consultant and lover Didi (Juliette Binoche), his finance chief Jane (Emily Hampshire) and his adviser Vija (Samantha Morton), with whom he sips vodka while calmly discussing the rioters outside rocking his limo and spray-painting anarchist symbols on it. “This is a protest against the future,” she says. Packer Capital is attempting to short the yuan, a gambit that is not going well and bleeding the company of vast amounts of money as the hours roll by. Eric is a big fat symbol — the film treats this fact with a wink — never more so than in scenes with his wife Elise (Sarah Gadon), who’s as much an enigma to him as he initially is to us. A poet from a massive wealthy family, she’s indifferent to the wealth he’s built and the position he’s achieved. She’s also apathetic to his more animal needs: Elise solemnly refuses to have sex with Eric because, she tells him, she needs to conserve her energy for work. Their connection is so tenuous and they know so little about each other that their marriage might as well be an arranged one between two royals. Cosmopolis is a film about the demeaning and dehumanizing effects of money, and Eric’s wealth has left him untethered. He can buy things or simply have them at will — security, sex, an appropriate spouse, maybe even the Rothko Chapel, which he wants to keep whole in his apartment — but few of these acquisitions seem to resonate with him. As a portrait of the far end of wealth,  Cosmopolis is hauntingly hollow, its world deliberately crammed with things but empty of meaning. It’s possible that Eric courts death — by intentionally putting himself in the way of a “credible threat” — because he’s losing his fortune, or maybe he set out to lose that fortune first as part of plan for complete self-destruction. Either way,  Cosmopolis presents a world of vivid and sometimes nightmarish imagery outside those tinted windows, and finds something elegiac and terrible in the detached way its characters process what they see. As Morton’s character says as she gazes at a protester who’s set himself on fire outside the limo: “It’s not original — it’s an appropriation.” Follow Alison Willmore on Twitter.   Follow Movieline on Twitter.

Jean-Claude Van Damme Admits to Affair, "Beautiful Lovemaking" with Kylie Minogue

Give Jean-Claude Van Damme points for honesty. We guess. Interviewed by The Guardian this week, in promotion of The Expendables 2 , the martial arts expert confirmed a long-time rumor: that he cheated on then-wife Darcy LaPier with singer Kylie Minogue during the 1994 filming of Street Fighter . “Yes, yes, yes. It happened. I was in Thailand, we had an affair,” said Van Damme, who has been married to Gladys Portugues since 1999. For some reason, he then added of the fling: “Sweet kiss, beautiful lovemaking. It would be abnormal not to have had an affair, she’s so beautiful and she was there in front of me every day with a beautiful smile, simpatico, so charming, she wasn’t acting like a big star. I knew Thailand very well, so I showed her my Thailand. She’s a great lady.” The actor does have a point. Even at 43, Minogue can seriously work it . Really, it would be abnormal for any married man not to toss his vows in the trash just for one night with the beautiful artist. [Photo: WENN.com]

Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson: It’s OVER!

Evelyn Lozada has filed to divorce Chad Johnson, not even six weeks after they got married. She filed legal documents just moments ago in Florida. Caiming her marriage is “irretrievably broken,” Evelyn was clearly motivated by the fight this weekend that led to her man’s domestic violence arrest. Even before the fight went nuclear – he’s accused of head-butting her (listen to the Chad Johnson 911 call here) – the union was on shaky ground. Lozada allegedly found a receipt for condoms in the duo’s car and flew off the handle, resulting in an altercation that landed the football player behind bars. There was no coming to his defense afterward, either. Instead, Evelyn Lozada ripped him in the media for not taking responsibility for his actions. According to the divorce documents, the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place. Good thing for Johnson, as he’s also out of an NFL job now. Evelyn and Chad got married in St. Maarten in July 4, with the wedding filmed for their VH1 reality show … which was canceled before it even aired. The only person with reason to smile now? Kim Kardashian. Compared to Ev & Ocho, her marriage looks like a long-lasting, non-violent success. [Photo: WENN.com]

Out Of Pocket: Comedian D.L. Hughley Says President Obama’s Intellectual Steez Keeps Him Disconnected From The Black Community-”He’s Closer To Being A White Kid”

Some C-list struggle quotes from D.L. Hughley… Comedian D.L. Hughley Criticizes President Obama C-list comedian D.L. Hughley spoke out on how he really feels about President Obama in a recent interview with SiriusXM Radio. He says that the President is too calm and intellectual when responding to criticism. In a recent interview on SiriusXM Radio with Ron Bennington, comedian D.L. Hughley mocked how Obama responds to criticism. He argues that Obama’s intellectual responses make him “closer to being a white kid.” Hughley also added thinks that Obama needs to show more passion. Mediaite reports: In an interview with SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Ron Bennington, comedian and former CNN host D.L. Hughley criticized President Barack Obama for not showing enough passion. Hughley said that Obama tends to respond to criticism intellectually and is “closer to being a white kid” in that respect. However, Hughley says that Obama’s calm demeanor also results in a lack of enthusiasm from the public in the election. Hughley appeared on Bennington’s interview program, Unmasked, to promote his new book, I Want You to Shut The F**k Up: How the Audacity of Dopes is Ruining America. So because he doesn’t act a fool in the face of scrutiny, he’s not black enough? D.L. must reeeaaallly need some more people to buy this book… Do you agree with him? Source

Dear Bossip: We Discussed Marriage & Decided To Move In Together, It’s 5 Years Later & No Ring

Dear Bossip , Let me begin by saying that I absolutely love you! I get a thrill from reading your no-nonsense advice! You are truly my best friend in my head! Anyway, I have been dating this guy for nearly 7 years. He’s funny, smart, and an all around good guy. I have a 10-year old daughter from a previous relationship. After my child’s father and I decided that we couldn’t work as a couple, he basically broke up with the both of us even though he lives less than 5 minutes away! I moved on and started dating a guy I knew from high school 2 years after we broke up. He has been extremely active in my daughter’s life. He attends her dance recitals, honors programs, and every one of her softball games. He does the father/daughter Girl Scout outings. He even took the time to teach her how to shoot a basketball and the game of softball that she absolutely loves. They have an awesome relationship. We discussed marriage and agreed that we needed to live together first. We’ve been living together for the past 5 years. He has a great job and my family loves him. His family loves me as well. Our sex life was amazing in the beginning. Now, we have sex maybe twice a month which is fine with me because we’re both so busy. And trust, the sex is still the bomb just not as frequent! I’m the Youth Director at my church so that keeps me quite busy and he does shift work. I also have a great job that I’ve had for the last 14 years. Additionally, I have a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. My boyfriend hasn’t quite completed his undergraduate degree yet. During his junior year of college, his mother suddenly passed away. This caused him to flunk out of school. Several years later, he decided to get back in school and finish his degree but this turned out to be disastrous for him because so many of his credits were no good. He basically had to start all over. So, he’s taken a few classes here and there but he has yet to finish. Over the last couple of years I have been pushing the issue of marriage. I am 32 and he’s 33. We have both expressed on numerous occasions how committed we are to each other. The problem is according to him it’s just not time yet. He wants to do things in his time. I didn’t push the issue of marriage prior to the last 2 or 3 years because so many of our “married” friends were either sneaking and cheating, going through divorces, separated, or married for all the wrong reasons. I was afraid that once we tied the knot, everything would change. Both of our grandmothers are adamant about us getting married right away. They often say, “It’s better to marry than to burn.” I believe that whole heartedly now but he doesn’t. That brings up another issue. He does not go to church. NEVER! NOT EVER! Granted, he will roll over on a Sunday morning and catch T. D. Jakes or some other well-known minister on television. I’ve always wanted to attend worship services together as a family. I do realize that there are some things that we have to sacrifice in relationships. I do not doubt his love for Christ! Not one bit! He believes in God, this I am certain of, but is it wrong for me to want my man in somebody’s church on Sunday mornings when he’s not working? Is this something that I have to just accept because we are truly in love, and besides me wanting to get married right now and wanting us to attend church as a family, every other aspect of our relationship is great! We split every household bill 50/50. We also rotate cooking/buying dinner, purchasing household supplies, gassing up both vehicles, getting my daughter to all of her different activities, laundry, chores, etc. (Yes, I do take out the garbage). Is this one of those stereotypical cases of buying the cow when the milk is free? Or is there some deep rooted issue that I am missing? There are times when I feel like the losses he’s suffered (losing his Mom and not being able to finish school) greatly affect his decision on marriage. FYI, him not finishing school is not because of financial reasons. More so because of his unwillingness to accept the fact that he has to start all over and stick with it! I’ve asked him this numerous of times but the answer is always the same, “I love you and we will get married when the time is right.” My question is when will the time be right? I would like to have at least 2 more kids before I’m 40. Should I hold out for the proposal or cut my losses and start over from scratch even if it means losing my best friend and the only REAL father figure my daughter knows?!?! – MS. PUT A RING ON IT! Dear Ms. Put A Ring On It , Welp! You got what you wanted so why are you complaining. You both agreed to live together before you got married, and therein folks lies the problem. This playing house and acting like a family is some bull-ish! Honey, that man wanted to get a test drive on you and the relationship, yet, got comfortable, and things are working out so why interrupt the groove? He’s getting the benefits of a woman at home, in-house p***y, being a so-called family, splitting the bills, yet, he doesn’t commit to you and marry you. Hmmmmm, you said it best, why buy the cow when the milk is free. But, I want to point out that you answered your entire letter with this statement: “There are times when I feel like the losses he’s suffered (losing his Mom and not being able to finish school) greatly affect his decision on marriage. FYI, him not finishing school is not because of financial reasons. More so because of his unwillingness to accept the fact that he has to start all over and stick with it!” And, there you have it! He will not commit to anything and stick with it, thus he won’t marry you because it will require a commitment and him sticking with something and seeing it through. I don’t understand why you would you agree to move in and test drive a relationship? You don’t need to live together to know if you want to get married. Chile, that man just wanted some place to rest his head and someone to split the bills with because his little shift job is not allowing him the opportunity to live the life he really wants to live without being financially strapped each month. It doesn’t take five years to know if you want to marry someone and it doesn’t take five years to figure out if this is the right time. Uhm, boo boo, take him to the calendar and ask him to point out “The right time.” I dare him to find it on the calendar. Hell, you sit your a** over there waiting on “The right time,” all you want. It doesn’t exist. There is no such thing as “The right time.” Folks always want to use that as an excuse for why they don’t want to do something. They will hold off on doing things and making things happen in their life because, “It’s not the right time.” That is nothing but a code word for procrastination. Get off you’re a** and do something! Then, on top of it, you’re the Youth Director at your church, and your man is sitting his behind in the house watching televangelists on TV. Bedside Baptist is not a church. How the hell are you able to get up and go to church, but he is unable to make it out of bed? No ma’am. As my grandmother would tell me and my grandfather, “You will not lay up in this house on Sunday morning. You’re getting up and going to church.” But, you don’t say anything because you don’t want to start an argument, or make him uncomfortable. Yet, you will make your own self uncomfortable for the sake of him. You will make yourself angry and mad, and get upset with yourself because you didn’t say anything to him. Get a freaking back bone, lady! And, ma’am, you’re the Youth Director at your church! You know better. You know that being unequally yoked in your relationship will not work. He is not rooted in the word. So, how could he lead a household? He’s not even getting fed. Hell, he doesn’t even understand his role as a man, so he definitely won’t understand his role as husband. I’m confused why are you putting up with this and writing in. What is the problem??? UGH! I swear you women with all your education, independence, and getting your –ish together will talk a lot of game of what you won’t put up with, but refuse to back it up and have some self-esteem and self-worth. I’m going to point something out and you let me know what you see: You have a Master’s degree. He hasn’t completed his undergraduate degree. He’s dropped out, and won’t go back. You’ve been on your job for 14 years. He works as a shift person, meaning, he works various shifts and his schedule changes. You volunteer with your church. He doesn’t volunteer. You split the bills and rotate on dining out, and other activities. You have sex twice a month because you say you’re both busy. Uhm, sweetie, what is he busy doing? I’ll wait why you look over these assessments. He has several issues, and he needs professional counseling. He’s dealing with abandonment issues after the loss of his mother. He can’t commit to anything, i.e. he stopped going to school and hasn’t gone back. You even said so in your letter that he doesn’t finish what he starts. So, again, if he won’t commit to school, and he won’t commit to anything, including you, then why are you waiting on him to put a ring on it? He needs therapy to deal with his issues. He has a lot of unresolved things in his life. And, you are included in it! – Terrance Dean Hey Bossip Fam, what do you think? Share your opinions and thoughts below! Reddit Marriage Proposal: Austin Photographer Captures Magical Moment Online

Joel Bush proposed to girlfriend Jennifer Orr the other night on the state capital grounds in Austin, Texas, with no one around but the two of them. So he thought. Photographer Patrick Lu happened upon the couple, took some amazing candid shots of the moment and them posted them on Austin’s Reddit . Hoping to share them with the newly-engaged couple (Jen said yes, thank god), he wrote, “Did any of you propose at the capital last night?” Lu received 1,400 “up” votes (the most ever in that sub-reddit), but didn’t even need to track down his mystery man: Bush himself found the post. “The thread found me through friends,” Bush said, adding that he’s active in the Austin tech meetup scene, so “I’m not surprised it found me.” Bush says he unwittingly got the best of both worlds, with a private moment shared by just the two of them, yet fantastic photos to cherish forever. Lu said Reddit was a logical spot to look for the soon-to-be-newlyweds. “Austin is actually a growing haven for tech companies and startups, and I had a gut feeling that the couple worked somewhere in that space. With techies, you have a lot of Redditors. I figured someone would have recognized them eventually.” Not even 48 hours later, it turned out.
