According to Revolt , Nas was recently honored by the New York City’s mayor’s office and then delivered a concert like we’ve never seen before. Follow @TheRSMS He put a twist on the classic “Illmatic” album by rapping with the National Symphony Orchestra . The performance was in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center. He performed “It Aint’t Hard to Tell,” N.Y. State of Mine” and more.   During his performance the rapper said, “Thank you for giving me 20 years of your ears.” Watch the performance and let us know your thoughts of it. CoKo And Mike Clemons Heading For Divorce CoKo Of SWV shared some bitter news with fans yesterday in the form of a blog post explaining that her marriage has come to an end. In the passage CoKo explains that she and Mike Clemons are two people who “fell out of love” and are looking forward to co-parenting together. In the blog post titled “After The Love Is Gone”, she writes: We always thought we’d be together forever! Through the good, the bad, the ugly, the ups and the downs…we’d still be married. But, things don’t always work out the way we plan or hope. After 15 years of marriage, my husband and I have decided to call it quits. Our fairytale has come to an end. I’ll definitely miss him! But life goes on and I have to make the best of it. I wish him all the best in his future. I pray that he will lack nothing! For the sake of our son we will do our best to co-parent. We’re not enemies, we’re just two people that fell out of love. Life after divorce kind of scares me, but I have to be strong for myself and my son. God got me and I’m surrounded by a great group of family and friends that hold me down. My Village!! I am blessed and highly favored!! READY FOR MY NEXT!!! Aww dang, best of luck to her. Gina is now the star of the new Bravo reality show, “ To Rome for Love .” According to Madame Noire , the show follows several Black women as they try to find love in Italy . Follow @TheRSMS While on the show several of the women asked about what it was like to be married and why they got divorced. Gina said, “It’s sort of a part of my life I can’t seem to move past. I never aspired to be a chef. My ex and I worked together at a family restaurant BBQ business. I thought it would be one show, we’d go back to our regular lives. Who knew it would be the highest-rated show on Food Network ?” Gina also revealed that it was her husbands dream to be on television. On the show she looked so happy, but really wasn’t. She said, “I was always seen as this person that has it together. I would cry in my pillow at night. I would cry in the car. I would cry anywhere anybody couldn’t see me. The TV show became bigger than the marriage.” He became more of a business partner rather than her husband and she finally left. Chitchatter… Jay Z Speaks On Beyonce Marriage With Van Jones Beyonce and Jay Z could have easily split after Hov’s infidelity, but according to Jay there’s a valid reason why they didn’t. Hov was a guest on (Roc Nation signee) Van Jones’ debut talk show Saturday and spoke candidly on his marriage to Bey. According to Hov, they didn’t divorce after his infidelity as addressed on “Lemonade” and “4:44” because they wanted to “break the cycle” and fight for their love for their children. “For us, we chose to fight for our love, for our family,” said Hov. “To give our kids a different outcome. To break that cycle for black men and women.” Jay-Z tells @vanjones68 about mending his marriage with Beyoncé: “For us, we chose to fight for our love. For our family. If you haven’t experienced love or don’t understand it or you don’t have the tools to move forward then you are going to have complications. Period.” But what would he do if the shoe was on the other foot and Bey cheated on him? Hov said he’d hopefully be as forgiving as her, the “strongest woman he knows.” “If the transgressions had been on [Beyonce’s] side, do you think you’d be able to be as forgiving of her as she was of you?” asked Van. “I hope,” said Jay. “I love her the same way. Khia and TS claim that they weren’t exactly given a warm welcome when they went to perform alongside Tamar. Unfortunately, they never made it to the stage. According to TS, they were going to perform alongside Tamar. Khia claimed in a post obtained by The Jasmine Brand that the members of Xscape tried to get them kicked out of the venue, claiming that The Queens Court hosts had weapons. However, there were also reports that they had an altercation with Toya Wright. TS and Khia eventually left, but that’s not the end of the story! According to Khia, the real action backstage happened when T.I. stormed into Tamar’s dressing room to cuss her out. Khia also claims that he’s a big reason that they weren’t allowed on stage. “Tiny the best thing you could ever did was divorce T.I.,” Khia said in a clip from The Queens Court.” That was the best decision you could have made ’cause he ain’t nothing but a b*tch a** n*gga.” According to Khia, T.I. avoided direct interaction with them. “I was staring him down,” Khia stated in another clips, recalling their non-altercation when T.I. popped up backstage. “he didn’t turn his head or neck and address us.” That might be because he appeared to be on a mission. Khia alleges that he wanted police intervention for the situation. “He came in asking for the sheriff. He passed by two real b*tches, went into Tamar’s dressing room and roasted her, her mother and her grandmother in front of her children,” Khia recalled. “I think he was the one being disrespectful and disorderly. Tip, how you gonna go in there and cuss out Tamar, her mother, and her grandmama, and her sisters?” Khia continued. “And you act like we was the ones that was disrespectful and disorderly.” We don’t expect any tea from Tamar about this as she has shut down her Instagram, and T.I. has yet to speak on rumors of their backstage beef. Upon being dismissed from his post and being shamed publicly, Hawe took his bare hands along with a knife and a hatchet and slaughtered his entire family before taking his own life. Hawe killed his wife, Clodagh, 39, and their children Liam, 14, Niall, 11, and Ryan, 6. According to The Sun , Hawe was a well-respected member of his community and was devastated by the loss of his fake azz reputation. 2017 … well, it hasn’t been a fun time. So many things have happened this year that we’d rather forget, but we can’t, because we are stuck in this nightmare hellscape with no real hope of ever escaping. But if you think about it, this year hasn’t been all bad! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been super adorable to watch, and speaking of royalty, Beyonce had her legendary pregnancy reveal , and she also gave birth to the twins this year. Another neat thing about 2017 has been the Kardashian baby boom — it really has been something to see. In quick succession, we learned that Kim is expecting her third child via surrogate, Khloe is finally pregnant with her first baby, and Kylie got knocked up, too . But with just a tiny, tiny bit of time left until we ring in the new year, is Kendall sneaking in a pregnancy announcement of her own?! Yep, as strange as it may seem, fans think that Kendall could be cooking up Kris Jenner’s latest grandchild, and it’s all thanks to this selfie: She captioned the photo “loner life” and added an alien emoji, but it’s her stomach that’s got people talking. Because is that a baby bump ?! Several people commented on the pic to ask her if she’s pregnant, and one person even asked if all the Kardashian/Jenner women are expecting. To be fair, it kind of does feel that way. “Khloe, Kylie, Kim…. And you decided to make another one baby?!?!” one person asked her. Another wrote “Is the whole family having babies?? If so she is the cutest preggo person!” Before you start rolling your eyes too hard, the photo isn’t the only thing that’s got people thinking Kendall could be expecting — she also made a pretty cryptic announcement earlier this week on her website. “As I look ahead to next year,” she wrote, “my goals and priorities are changing. I’ve had an incredible 2+ years connecting with all of you, but I’ve made the difficult decision to no longer update my app in 2018.” “I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey as much as I have, and am looking forward to sharing the next chapter with you.” Goals and priorities changing? “The next chapter”? Tell us more, girl! It’s also worth pointing out that while she isn’t too flashy about it, she has been dating Blake Griffin for a little while now, and it’s said that things are pretty serious between them . So could it be true? Could Kendall be the fourth KardashiJenner to start working on a new kid in 2017? Sorry, but probably not. If you look at the photo that started this whole mess, you can see that her naturally tiny waist is cinched in to look even smaller, and all those organs have to go somewhere, you know? Tamar Braxton: My Husband’s Baby Won’t Ruin My 2018!

Tamar Braxton has had a… how should we put this? …. interesting week. To say the very, very, very least. The singer, who announced in late October that her marriage to Vince Herbert is over , was forced to respond this week to a pair of incidents involving her estranged ex-lover. First, as reported by TMZ, Herbert was taken into police custody on Christmas Day and charged with spousal abuse. After spending some time in jail, Herbert was released on $20,000 bail. With many folks around the Internet assuming her soon-to-be-ex assaulted her in some way, Braxton cited a restraining order she has against Herbert and told TMZ the following: “Co-parenting while going through a divorce is not an easy task. “While celebrating the Christmas holiday as a family, after a few drinks and some jealousy, things got a bit out of hand, which is common for most families during the holidays. “In the midst of everything our family is going through things got heated and a bit exaggerated.” What may have prompted this argument between the former spouses? The accusation by another woman that Herbert got her pregnant! “There was no physical interaction between Vince and I on Christmas,” Braxton makes clear in her statement to TMZ, adding: “While I do not appreciate his lack of respect for our family and him allegedly impregnating another woman, I cannot paint him as a vicious abuser that Vince is not.” Indeed, Braxton went off on a pretty awesome Instagram rant against this other woman and Herbert just a few days ago, as you can see above. She’s refusing to her the unprotected sex she had with Vince ruin her day, week or future forecast. “Smh happy new year folks!! Ladies and gentlemen know that 2018 is a FRESH start and if i can leave this liar u can leave yours too,” Braxton wrote to her followers. Braxton and Herbert were married for nine years. They share a four-year old son named Logan. You may recognize the stars from their VH1 reality show, Tamar and Vince; and/or Braxton from her stint as a co-host on The Real. Insiders previously said that she fell into some kind of depression after she was fired from that talk show, which contributed to the demise of her marriage. It maybe didn’t help that Herbert was sleeping around, although we can’t say for certain just when he allegedly knocked this other woman up. “I’m deeply hurt and saddened that this will be how we remember Christmas 2017,” Braxton concluded to TMZ. “But, my motto is and maintains to be ‘Bluebird of Happiness’ and nobody will stop my joy and blessings going into the New Year!
