Gay Marriage Has Brought In Over $1 Billion To The US Economy Gay marriage has made it monsoon on the US economy according Broadly reports: More than 123,000 same-sex couples have tied the knot in the year since the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage. According to a new study, these weddings have boosted economic and job growth. In the year since the US Supreme Court’s landmark decision guaranteeing marriage equality, weddings with same-sex couples have contributed a $1.58 billion boost to the national economy. According to a study conducted by the Williams Institute, a think tank at UCLA Law dedicated to research on sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy, an estimated 123,000 same-sex couples in the US have married since the SCOTUS decision last June. The study estimates the impact of these marriages on state and local economies, sales tax, and job creation; according to its findings, increased revenue from wedding expenses has created as many as 18,900 jobs in the last year. Andrew Rigie, executive director of the NYC Hospitality Alliance, agrees that his industry has benefitted from same-sex weddings. You may not believe this, but Andy Cohen has a pretty big problem with Donald Trump. This has been the case, of course, ever since Trump opened his mouth as a Presidential candidate… but the beloved Bravo grew especially incensed at the Republican hopeful this week. It all started after the horrible massacre committed by Omar Mateen in Orlando. Not long after 49 people lost their lives inside Pure nightclub, Trump initially took credit for having warned America that Muslims are dangerous people. He then Tweeted the following: “Thank you to the LGBT community! I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.” We won’t bother pointing out the complete and utter absurdity of this statement. Partly because Cohen went ahead and did so himself. “DONALD YOU ARE AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE! IS THAT FIGHTING FOR US????” Cohen wrote in reply. But while Trump didn’t respond to this challenge (for once), a number of The Donald’s supporters did take Cohen to task for his fighting words. “Andy stfu so was Hillary until she decided it was a right move in her political career,” wrote one Twitter user. Another jumped in with: “You can’t get married if you are dead! #HardTruth #JusticeForPulse #AmericaFirst #MakeAmericaSafeAgain #LGBTForTrump.” @VotingFemale, meanwhile, Tweeted: “Poor @Andy. Doesn’t get the diff between Gay Marriage & Death By Islamic Homophobia. #nra #maga #tcot #copolitics.” How did Cohen respond to this attempted takedown? “I don’t get the difference between you and a complete moron.” Finally, after a Trump loyalist Tweeted “TRY AND FOLLOW ALONG- HE SAID HE HAS AN ISSUE WITH ISLAMIC EXTREMIST KILLING AMERICANS- are you really this daft Andy,” Cohen ended his Twitter war by responding: “No one is FOR extremists killing Americans.” You gotta admire Andy Cohen for trying to talk sense into Donald Trump voters. Last night, Omar Mateen allegedly entered a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla. and opened fire, killing 50 people and injuring at least 53 more in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. Orlando police later shot the suspect. He was 29. While police continue to investigate, Mateen’s ex-wife tells The Washington Post that he was unstable and violent. “He was not a stable person,” said the ex-wife, who chose to remain anonymous out of safety concerns. “He beat me. He would just come home and start beating me up because the laundry wasn’t finished or something like that.” She revealed that they had met online and got married in 2009. They moved into a two-bedroom condo in Fort Pierce, Fla., owned by Mateen’s family. She confirmed that Mateen was born to Afghan parents but was born in New York. “He seemed like a normal human being,” she said, noting that he was not religious at the time and she knew of no connection to radical Islam. The ex-wife said she finally escaped the marriage when her parents learned of Mateen’s assaults on her. The ex-wife added she never spoke with Mateen after that. The two were officially divorced in 2011. President Obama has referred to the tragedy as “an act of terror and an act of hate.” Speaking to NBC News, Mateen’s father, Mir Seddique, said his son’s crime “has nothing to do with religion,” indicating that it was motivated by hate. He explained that Mateen became enraged two months prior after seeing two men kissing in Miami and believes the incident may have prompted his heinous actions. “We are saying we are apologizing for the whole incident,” Seddique said. “We weren’t aware of any action he is taking. We are in shock like the whole country.”

If you haven't heard, Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes ended their feud , putting the kibosh on one of the most longstanding and reliable wars in celebrity history. As you may know, Glanville's former husband Eddie Cibrian cheated on her with Rimes and later married her, so you get where tensions originated. Glanville was often peeved that Rimes was pretending to be the “new mom” to her sons and called the country singer out on numerous occasions. The two women – and sometimes Cibrian – traded jabs on Twitter all the time, and it was ridiculously immature and solidly entertaining for onlookers. And then one day, suddenly, everything changed. The two tweeted kind words to each other, and the universe went, HUH??? It was kind of unreal. Brandi actually wished LeAnn a happy fifth wedding anniversary to Cibrian. “@leannrimes Happy anniversary Happy 2 watch my boys 4 mybaby daddy so that y'all can celebrate! This all happened seemingly out of the blue and confused everyone. Now, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has broken her silence on why the two decided to bury the hatchet. “Something happened with my children and it brought Eddie and LeAnn and I together and we just had to be on the same page and we realized that we're the adults here and we have to act like adults,” Glanville said during an interview with toofab. We don't know what the “something” is that “happened,” but it sounds pretty intense. “I've been ready for this for so long,” she continued. “The kids are the happiest they've ever been when we're united,” she added. “I will do anything for those children of mine.” Oddly enough, Glanville signed on to star in a cooking show called My Kitchen Rules with LeAnn's ex-husband, Dean Sheremet.
