Tara has since added her own message on her IG about “haters.” Okay girl…. A Girl has been made into an honest woman. Allison Williams married Ricky Van Veen on Saturday evening, wearing a dress by Oscar de la Renta and exchanging vows Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming. According to People Magazine, well-known names in attendance included Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, Katy Perry, John Mayer and Seth Meyers. We’re gonna go out on a limb and assume Allison’s famous father was also on hand. Williams and Van Veen, who met through mutual friends, dated for over three years prior to the latter shocking the former with a proposal in February 2014. The gorgeous actress has said in the past that she’s “obsessed” with her engagement ring and also that she’s excited to start a family. It’s been five years since Amy Adams and Darren LeGallo welcomed their baby girl, Ariana, and the couple has been together since 2001. Many assumed that they had nixed plans to walk down the aisle but E! News is reporting that the actors finally got hitched over the weekend. Hey, at least they didn’t have to look too far for a flower girl! Adams and LeGallo got engaged in 2008, and Adams has admitted that even her fiance was beginning to doubt that they’d ever get around to taking the plunge. “I feel like a horrible fiancee that I haven’t gotten swept up in the idea of a wedding, but I just haven’t,” the actress said in a 2009 interview with Allure. “He wants to get married. He’s sort of, you know, ‘This is going to happen, right?’ He understands I’m busy, but he’s ready.” Usually, we’d call shenanigans on the “too busy” excuse, but in Adams’ case it seems pretty legit. In the last ten years, she went from character actress roles in little-known films to dividing her time between Oscar-bait prestige projects like American Hustle and big-budget effects spectaculars like Man of Steel. When you get nominated for an Oscar and appear on screen with Superman in the same year, you’re allowed to tell your partner that you’re just too damn busy being awesome to get hitched.
